8.5.21 Great for thrifting! Prices are a little higher than average for thrift stores IMO. But they do have a clean and organized store with a huge selection of clothing, purses, shoes, housewares, bikes, etc. Go in knowing it will take your time to scour the racks to look for your finds. Most of the staff and customers are masked. My daughter and her friends like it here and are repeat customers. Happy shopping!

A very good thrift store indeed! They have a HUGE INVENTORY for you to look through. The prices are alittle more than average thrift store prices, but they have very nice clothing from vintage to everyday to different. I feel you could not waste your time taking the chance to shop here. They do have discounts and discount days to save you that extra few bucks. Definitely a winner of thrift stores to shop at! ENJOY!

Way too expensiveAlthough you can find very cool things here its just too expensive. A single camisole slip was priced at 12 dollars, and it wasnt even a name brand, you can find the same type for 3 dollars just down the road at the other thrift stores, very clean and organized okay, but the bigger sizes (XL and up) have tons of smaller sizes mixed in there like this L in the 4XL section. Going to the 50% off sale day is probably the only time its worth buying from here

Oh my god. That is what I whispered to myself under my mask at the amazing prices. Ya’ll pray for Texas Thrift, they’re going thru something. I’m not saying don’t come to this thrift. I’m just saying adjust your expectations. Anything remotely... anything is marked up. Bless yourself to anything but the clothing to get your thrift on. Lots of shoes, kids clothes were decently priced, tons of housewares. And yes that is for one pair of panties from a fast fashion store.

This thrift store is worth visiting. The prices are good and when you factor in the sales, theyre even better! Another perk is they have a return policy of 14 days with original receipt for store credit. This really helps since the dressing rooms are still closed due to COVID.

This store is large, bright, clean and very organized. They have clothes organized by sizes and types. It is very easy to find what you are looking for. I now only shop at this store. Prices are great!

My first time....it was great. I found some great pieces to add to my wardrobe. A couple of suits 😍, several blazers and a few capri pants.

9-10-21 Hmm... Havent been here in Years and still... Pretty expensive!! Looked at the picture frames for an idea... Most quality ones were damaged and prized at $20 and $50? Excuse me? Ive been able to find very similar ones at other thrift stores for $3-6.. Way bigger or completely brand new almost/mint condition. Im talking big items..You might need to research the deals so you can go when whatever youre looking for is cheaper.

Nice place, really nice person that helped me, it was was 1/2 day so lots of people there but most had on mask. I really enjoyed shopping and the price was the best for T-shirts.

This store has a little of everything you may need from clothes to shoes household items all at a affordable price . Clean open store for easy access as you shop, great staff always putting out new stuff. I absolutely love this store.

This place was way over priced for used stuff, and alot of things had stains on them and they definitely do not wash the clothes before they put them out. I could smell smoke and old lady perfume on most of the clothing.Will not be back!

Prices are way to high! Store use to have baby blankets, so very well organized. Last three times Ive been at your store. Baby blankets are all mixed inn with the adult bed sheets and bedspreads. My advice is that you should arrange all baby blankets, etcetera close to the baby clothes.

Dont know why I dont go here more often. Huge selection and bargain basement prices! Friendly and helpful staff. My only suggestion would be to add a few mirrors since they have so much clothing.

The prices are high for what you get. But the employees are nice. At times they get in some great vintage toys.

They do not offer thrift store prices at all. If I was to go back, it would only be on a half off sale only. Old dirty sneakers shouldnt be priced at $24.00 and various other items had the original price tags and they had them priced a few dollars under the original price.

If you can get past the crazy hiked up prices on some stuff ... they have a decent selection of items . I used to shop once at least 4 to 5 times a month and spent easily over $100 at times on shoes and housewares be ause they do have some great stuff but man . I cant cant it as much anymore with the new prices. See the picture below. priced almost $4 for something that was $4.99 when it was new on a wooden wall plaque? Yes, I know color tags are 50% and 30% off but I hardly saw any orange colored 50% off tags today . There was a carafe for $19 ... at a thrift store? It wasnt even special or crystal or anything fancy from the looks of it.I mean, these are donated items but geez! If I feel like paying close to full price for items, Id just go and but them new at the actual store. $4 for a mug? Good grief!

I think they forgot that theyre a second hand store. Theyre prices are ridiculous. You are not a regular retail store! Plus theres no mask mandates in Texas.

Never disappointed when I come. I usually come wanting to get 1 specific item but walk out with multiple bags full! Very clean and organized, great prices, and great finds. Saves me hundreds of dollars! I highly recommend!!

In a slightly warn down strip mall but once you walk inside its all fresh and clean. Not new but fresh and clean. As you would expect the ladies section is easily 2/3s of the store and was full of potentially new to you clothes. My companion (aka Lady Finger) was able to find lots of cute summer dresses and even some stylish almost new shoes. I bought quite a few very we kept polos and two suit jackets ($5 a piece) for those dressy days. Prices are a little higher than most thrifts in the area but there is good selection. They definitely need more cashiers or faster cashiers because they take WAY TOO LONG to check people out.

This used to be a great place to shop. I would go once a week. Great customer service and prices.I had not been because of the pandemic; I went a week a go and the prices went up crazily. I found an item from the dollar tree at $3.99 thats how bad things have been marked up. They lost me as a customer for sure. I rather go to the good will which used to be higher priced and now this store is worse thats saying a lot.

Over priced? Some shirts from sponsored marathons that arent even Nike, well known athletic brands are WAY WAY over priced. $13 for T shirt? Every time when I do my runs and stop by here. I never come out with anything. They have a disclosure sign that everything is Fairly priced. Oof!!

An average thrift store with lots of donated clothes/shoes. Very light on housewares, electronics, and small appliances. This is a for profit organization not a charity group.

Clean. Wide aisles. Hairpieces, mostly same as others. Tons of clothes and shoes. Some bicycles for children and adults. Youll have to look around for them. Call for daily discounts to special people, such as rescue personnel, seniors etc. Check sale coming soon picture below. Take bus 501 or 408 from downtown Irving to find three gems in the area all on the west side of the street.

I had a good experience here. I went on a 50% off day and was able to get 32 different items (mostly clothing) for just over $100. I agree with other reviewers that most items are over-priced for a thrift store. Im glad it was a 50% off day.

The store is huge. So many cloths. Daily color-coded discounts. Many many cds and dvds. Other stuff that I cant identify, but theres a whole bunch of it. Reasonable prices with the occasional steal in the right time and place.

I always find something Im looking for! Great selection for a reasonable price and they always have some sale going. Its my favorite thrift store in Irving, and I love thrift shopping!

Great selection of items and they have everything very organized. One of my fave thrift shops in Irving. They are following social distancing protocols and they are cleaning the carts at the entry of the store.

Please clean your rest rooms, that was terrible what I seen in your restroom by the shoes. Everytime I have to use your restroom, the commode has waste on the seat and in the commode, mskrd no sense. That is unsanitary

7.98 for a tshirt that was donated for free and a 10 minute line to get through the registers. This is a thrift store that has forgotten that they help serve those in need and that doesnt care about their customers. The bottom line is all that matters now. Why would I donate here any more. Shame on you.

I been in other thrift stores, first time in this one and is very expensive compared to others. Walmart is cheaper.

Prices is ridiculous high. This ain’t no darn new store. All of the items are USED! Their clothes is very pricey and that’s ridiculous. One child shirt cost $6.98! Please stop it and drop the prices!

One of THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE PLACES I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I spent 2 hours looking for items. I had a buggy full and went to check out. Than they tell me their system is down. I said can I pay cash, they said no. Then I asked if they could hold the items and they said no... I will DEF not be back and will tell everyone I know the same. AWFUL.

I love to pop my head into thrift stores as you never know what you can find; and Texas Thrift Store in Irving, is one of the best in DFW. I personally found a pair of rare sneakers and an awesomely unique antique chair. Some things are very easy to find in the store; and while others are not, the selection is decent enough to keep you entertained until you find it. Great items, great prices, great environment, efficient staff. Strongly recommend anyone with the means, to check it out and see what finds you!

Large and Clean store, lots of merchandise, found some gems but expected them to be a little cheaper considering its second hand, thankfully there were some daily marked down items.

Amazing selection! Went in here with a friend who needed some slacks for cheap and quickly because we have interviews soon. Within 10 minutes we had 4 great candidates. I even looked through the shoes and found some cute black heels for 50% (they have different deals every day)!! Will definitely come back, and donate here.If youre looking for a donation spot they have a walk up station and call pick up

This place is GREAT! Not only does it NOT SMELL like a resale place, they play music you will SING TO, no matter your age! It’s their little trick to make you feel like “hanging out”. Good quality choices, great specials, awesome staff!

I like the place it is very clean but I felt offended when the cashiers told me I have to take the clothes off the hangers so it’s faster for them. I do not work their neitherless should I be obligated to do their job. I will continue to come here and I will not take the clothes of the hangers. It’s not my job and sometimes I get off work to enjoy my time off not go to a store and shop just do feel like I’m working !!!I literally purchased one shirt and the gentleman stood their until he realized I would not do it and he finally rung me upQuestion is am I going to be denied service for not doing their job?

Well i was reading one of the reviews. The owner replied and called the store city thrift. I thaught it was texas thrift. I always liked the texas thrift when it was located in plymoth shopping center. Not sure if this is owned by the same people. I was happy to see this one open up and was expecting the same experience. Boy was i completly surprised . the prices were crazy high. Im looking for a great deal like .50 tshirts or 2.00 shoes not here. Nothing like the old store. Seems like they used the same name to bring the people but jacked the price up. I call that dirty pool.÷

Very clean store with great selection of clothes for all ages. Many staff members working to keep store organized. Saw at least five of them working after 8 pm.

First off this was the cleanest thrift store Ive been to. They had a good mixture of new and vintage pieces. However, the prices were a bit high and I stood in line for 10 minutes to be told I was in the line for employees only.

Everything in there is seriously overpriced. Theyre open till 9pm but they close the fitting rooms at 8pm? They have a little bit of everything but the majority of their items are clothing. Does it make sense to close the fitting room that early when people need to try on clothes. A male employee yelled at me from across the store fitting rooms are closed! You dont yell, walk over and use your God given sense. Zer0 customer service skills obviously. I just walked out. Wasnt going to give them my money. Never again will I shop there.

A little pricey, lots of shoes were 10-20 for shoes you could get down the street new for around the same price. However it was clean and I was able to find quality items that were 30%-50% off. Overall I think Ill be back but I prefer the prices at Thrift Giant.

Everything is overpriced, then what you can get at a Salvation Army or Good Will.
