Came in with an old 2005 Camry that had been poorly maintained over the years. Got a battery replacement (and an alternator replacement later) without issues.While leaving, the technician Eric waved me over and asked if I had issues with the engine vibrating the car. He then showed me the left engine torque mount, which was completely broken. For this, I appreciate his diligence in investigating the cause of issues that I mightve brushed off as normal.I also appreciate both Eric and the manager Ernesto for their honesty. During my first visit, they found oil on the (rubber) serpentine belt. I expected that I would need to replace the belt and got a quote for it. But since I was getting the alternator replaced anyways, Ernesto said they would clean the belt and check for leaks before replacing. In the end, no major leaks were found and the belt was in better condition than they originally thought, so they just suggested I ask for the belt to be inspected for oil the next time I came in.All repairs were as quoted + disposal fee for the old parts. They did take longer than expected, but it appears they are frequently busy.
If you are a woman or appear to not be knowledgeable about cars stay away from this place. They tried to FALSELY charge me for extra oil when my car only takes 4 qrts. The worker there told me out of his own mouth that my Groupon only covered 5 qrts and that I need more than 5 so there would be an extra charge also gave me the wrong price for the cost of my filter (they tried to charge me an extra $20 and some change). I left because I knew that wasn’t right and I had no intentions of giving my money to a business who was blatantly trying to rip me off. I called back to confirm what they told me and I spoke to a different man who said they never said that about the qrts of oil. He had an opportunity to admit to the mistake and make things right but instead they doubled down on their lies and poor service. I tried to explain to them where the miscommunication came from but all ERIC did was talk over me and not even allow me to complete a sentence. Tried to imply that I was lying when in fact they were the ones lying. I am a single mom literally just trying to keep things together which is why I purchased the Groupon and why I chose a place so close to home just to be ripped off! This experience was extremely eye opening and I will never be returning to Kwik kar for anything at all. There is no making it right because this business can not be trusted at all. Thank you Kwik Kar for wasting my time! If you guys don’t want to accept the Groupon then just say that! No need to lie and fluctuate the prices to try and get over on another human just out here trying to make it the same way y’all are!DO NOT TRUST THESE MEN! LADIES STAY AWAY!!!!
I went to the shop based on past oil change and they agreed to install new (self provided) struts on my car. We established and agreed upon a price and a time. Because it would take some time, I requested a ride home and to be picked up when the job was completed. When I arreived at the appointed time, the manager refused to honor the price or the transportation commitment. Unfortunately, this is the second time a similar issue has come up. Stay away from these people. Beware of bait and switch tactics.

Somewhat more pricey than other places YET they were so quick and efficient with no pushy up selling. Also the lobby was very tidy and comfortable with a tv and restroom. I will definitely be returning for my oil and possibly other basic mechanical needs!
Had to change the review to 1 would give 0 if I could. I would not trust these even with oil change. Had the rear differential fluid flushed per their recommendation, then the car was 1 month at the dealership to get the rear diff rebuilt. Zero accountability and murky service. No thank you!
Its very concerning when Certified Inspectors dont know their stuff. I had a vehicle they failed the inspection based on a 3rd brake light that wasnt working. After I spent money, but even more so lots of time on this issue, I was informed by Ford that the light is a marker light and has no brake light functionality. Its not a brake light. And because of the width and weight of the vehicle, a third brake light is not mandatory per law. The certified inspectors didnt know this. So they missed it the first time. On the 2nd visit to get it corrected, I told the first gentleman but then the 2nd guy who actually did the re-inspection proceeded to tell me the brake light still didnt work. Once again I had to go through the whole explanation. They should have known this before I had to tell them. I lost so much time dealing with this, not to mention the extra $70 on a lamp that didnt need replaced. Beware if you go here for an inspection.
Stopped in today for a state inspection. The big guy Cesar got me in and out under 10 minutes, great service. The little guy george brought to my attention my air filter and cabin filter were dirty and changed them with the inspection, out with in 15 minutes. Fast and friendly service, definitely will be back!

Went to have my Inspection done. I didnt notice it until later. That they took my Registration sticker off. Then just slapped it back on, not even straight. Now it is torn and coming out the windshield. To top it all off, when I went back to talk to the manager. He told me I have to replace anyway. So unprofessional. I am not coming back.I dont know why I came back? I had a low tire on my car. This is the closest place from where I live. They always check my tires for free and yes I give about 1 or 2 dollar tip. But this time I went in and the person told me it was going to be five dollars. What a rip-off. Five dollars to check tires. Now I am really not coming back. You can keep your $10 off for an oil change. That is like a spit in the face. Thank you, Not coming back. (frowny face)
I very rarely post about good or bad experiences from any business, but I just received the best service at this Kwik Kar. John was happy to service my vehicle when I called, and when I took it in, he figured out what my car needed, explained why I needed it answered all my questions and gave me a fair quote. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommend!

Good customer service, but don’t pull a Kelly and say yes to changing your air filters. 🥲 It tripled my bill. You could get it done cheaper elsewhere. Just get an oil change and get outta there 😅

I have had nothing but great experiences at Kwik Kar Valley Ranch and will always bring my car here for repairs. Nick (the manager) will always be up front and tell you exactly what’s wrong with your car and he always does right by the customer. Good and reputable shop and I would recommend to anyone.
I went for car inspection they removed some of the caps in front hood and I didnot checked and went away later I got engine lights are on. I went back to them and said it was new car what they did. As they telling we need to check and it costs extra money. Irresponsible people doing bad and asking money. Never gonna go back there.
This is one of the worst servicing center I have ever visited in my last 20 years. The outside signage says 19.99$ for oil change and i thought i would be paying the same. The invoice he presented was $50.00 and when I asked about this he started blackmailing saying if you dont pay, I will keep your car. My question to him was straight forward - Why signage outside says 19.99$ and how can you charge us 50$ without informing. They never asked or mentioned if I wanted to do the 19.99$ service or 50$ service. This is a complete rob. I rather go to someone who charge more but are straight forward. This is a blackmail and cheating in broad daylight. Absolutely zero customer service and i can never understand the blackmailing piece.There are much better oil change service centers around.
Another kwik kar quickly ran up a list of things my car “needs immediately”, this one was honest and told me only what my car ACTUALLY needed. Saved me over $400 and I’m beyond grateful. My new go-to!
Mechanic Nick is great, have had a few repairs done by him up there, if you can deal with Nick you will be treated right.But today I didnt deal with Nick...Went to get an oil change 10/24/20 at 8am, and whoever does the pit cant tighten a single drain plug bolt... Never had problems with leaking oil on my driveway, but after I got it changed here, a loose bolt created a puddle under my car.Someone like me checks for these things so I tightened it myself, but someone who doesnt look out would have a completely broken vehicle very soon after all their oil was gone from the car.Also oil on their hands got on my steering wheel, keys, door handle, and who knows where else.

Poor customer service, waited almost an hour for a car inspection, then another customer came and they service them before me, I let them know but they wanted to keep me waiting. An hour wasted there. Drive 2 mins to another place for the inspection and was attended right away.

Ive been here 3 times now with my old Honda for parts and an inspection, very happy with the service each time. Theyre fast, professional, and most importantly to me, the repairs are done right. Prices on everything are very fair. They were able to source a part and fix a leaking AC same day for me. Enjoying icy cold air again in the Texas summer, Id definitely recommend this place.

They changed ownership, but so happy to say that the service is good.While there getting my inspection done, I met someone from my home town Monroe, LA!!!! Mr. Ricky Smith a young man whom I asked who was his people people? His father attended Carroll High whom I dont know by name and I attended Wossman High. We laughed about it!! Always to see someone from home.I passed my inspection and will see them next year!!!
I had a stripped screw near my skid plate and met with Nick who treated my car with great care. Having a vehicle I adore, he treated my car with great delicacy and did the job quickly. One should feel confident that these guys will take extra care of your car if asked. This will be the only mechanic shop, I will take my vehicle from now on should I need to. I have had my oil changed here a number of times. The employees are nice and seem very knowledgeable on the services they provide. They also arent out to scam anyone. I asked for a tire rotation my first time here and they gave me some information about the state of my tires, and didnt charge me a rotation when I didnt need it.
Extremely happy with this business! Ricky, Nick, and Alex were very helpful and I wanted to review this place because of my awesome experience. This was the closest place to my wifes place of work and we were very worried about engine issues. (Rebuilt motor...long story) The guys answered all my questions and went over personal experiences and walked me thru the issues. They did all this while still busy and were very professional. I am honestly very thankful to all 3 of these guys and you are in good hands with them in my opinion.

At the end of vehicle inspection. I asked for an extra one copy of my inspection report. The tall guy. I guess his name is Ricky said to me very rudely to go home and scan/make a copy myself. Is this good customer service? I am replying after the response from the owner regarding uneven customer service experience. I am a first time customer at kwik Kar. I do not know if your customer service has been consistently even or not. After my experience I do not feel confident to return to this service center and I persume same will be the case with any customer whos been treated this rudely. A Customer needs only one uneven experience to turn away from a business for life. Especially a new customer. The question to ask yourself is there are multiple vehicle service centers . Why come to yours? Is it because you offer even satisfactory customer service everytime?

He called back to inform that the wipers need replacement which I had forgot to mention and I needed a reppacement. This shows that work is done here passionately and they dont just scam you like others do. Go here you will not regret.

Today 11/7/2019 I called Kwik Kar and Andres answers my call and he was personally the nicest person ever...explained to me about the different oils and what the difference is and option for a Mercedes Benz! Cameron is cool as well he helped out! Explained to Cameron how people get over on women. NOT HERE These guys are like family. I will definitely be back to see them! Just bought a new used car and had this shop take a look prior to buying . Needed an alignment and a new oil plug. Now I know Covid -19 has affected a lot of businesses and a lot of places have short staff. So I called to see when the best day to bring my car up to service after I purchased . Called and made an appointment. Car was dropped off first thing in the morning . I then call mid day to get an update and am told that there will be no time to service my car and that it will need to be worked on the next day. Really ?!? I called ahead to ask when the best day and time would be, TO BE SURE that it would be able to be completed . I think that it was courteous of me to call ahead. But my car was shoved aside and was not serviced . Do not bring your car here! Not professional. Taking my business elsewhere ! Customer service and a not something that is offered.
I love these guys! They truly are the nicest people. I think I’ve been coming here for the last 10 years and it’s always a positive experience. They’re friendly and professional on the phone and even more so in person. Great experience with my wheel alignment. Nick, the technician there, did a great job keeping me informed of the time it would take and getting me out as quick as he could. He also went through all of the before/after numbers from the alignment and a few items he noticed. Nothing was pushy and all of the workers there were very nice. I plan on going back!
Service is good but felt like I am cheated when I checked the price of cabin air filter and engine air filter online. Maximum 10 to 15 dollars you can get on amazon or any other stores. They charged me 25$ and 35$. Felt like I should not trust their pricing anymore.I am just trying to help people, and I don’t get any thing by putting this comment. Just wanted to reveal the truth. I recommend Please Check something you can do it yourself don’t accept the pricing straight away.Worst for business is breaking trust !!

Im so grateful for Anthony. I started using Kwik Kar/Valley Ranch, bcuz they were close to where I moved plus recommended by a new friend. I had a bad experience with the 1st place I chose as a new resident last year to do my state inspection when I moved to TX. Unknown to me til AFTER my 1st new friend (a native of Dallas) told me the place was a known rip-off! That company said I needed a new HORN! I said do you know where to push the horn? It works fine cuz I had to hit the horn on my way here?!?..another driver almost clipped me. The steering wheel has 2 horn icons on both sides for ez access, not in dead center! He replied well it doesnt meet TX standards, I need $200 to fix it. BULL! I said NO, Ill take it elsewhere and went to Kwik Kar thank goodness. The car is near vintage, 20-yr old Grand Am (96 well maintained) only 75,000+ miles, runs great! Im the 2nd owner (bought it from my dad who rarely used it). My dad worked in the auto industry nearly 50 yrs, so Im no dummy under the hood. I took it, hoping for an honest mechanic shop, and passed 1st time @ KK. I had the misfortune of slamming the undercarriage in front of Walmart, a chronic road problem (large crack in road & pothole) and busted my heating coil. I got an honest quote & car repaired perfectly within 2 days! I also own a Mercedes that needed inspection (2004 w/ only 76,000+ mls) but my battery died prior to bringing it in & I noticed small electronic things acting up, so Anthony helped me, put in a new battery & referred me to an affiliated auto electronic company for diagnosis since Benz can be too tricky to diagnose. How nice..the referred company was honest, detailed the issues and now its ready to take back to KK for inspection! Thank you Anthony for taking great care of my cars, your honesty and help. Im a customer for LIFE! C u soon!

Great place for to get my oil changed. They offered me different options of oil to put in my car rather than just taking my keys and putting anything in my engine. Oil change, topped off my fluids, and tire rotation all in good time. Very reasonable prices for the work being done.
Kwik service. Staff was courteous. I went for the car inspection before registration and it was quick and easy. No other car service or repair had been done, so cant rate them for it.
I know some basic auto repair, but some jobs are too big for me, either for lack of tools, time, experience, or manpower. Their master mechanic Nick has taken really good care of me and my cars. Hes kept me up to date, asked me before proceeding with repairs that would add to my bill, stood behind his work (which is important when he works on my finicky classic car), and overall just been honest with me. I feel like a valued customer instead of someone just passing through the lube n tune shop. I have always been skeptical of mechanics, but I have been very impressed with Nick and will continue to see him at this shop.

I write from experience and with proof.I took my VW Jetta to fix the following to Kwik Kar At Valley Rancha) Battery issue (on warranty)b) Tail lightc) Headlight Adjustmentsd) Oil ChangeOutcome: Please look at the attached image.Since when does a single tail light unit cost 300$ ? Even if they bought it from the dealer and including shipping charges its 3x the price. They added labour on top of that. (Separately) And if they are claiming to have competitive prices I would like to see what these competitive prices are.They also tried to talk me out of the battery warranty which they later claimed to be a system issue once I probed it and gave me the full amount (I will give them that)Honestly they might talk professionally but on closer look they are trying to make money via over pricing parts and other means since labour has been a fixed price in their website. Or atleast thats my impression.Common yall are better than that.I would like to hear back from the dealer if I got this incorrectly.My suggestion: Approach with caution. And double check bill break up.

I first came to this place years ago for an oil change because it was close to my work, but I lucked out in that I never had a bad experience since. I recommend to my coworkers as a place to take their car.
First time I came to this shop and let me tell you.. I did not know shops like this existed.I got a oil change and in less than 10 minutes it was done and the service advisor ( I forget his name I believe it was tyler? ) was so kind and polite it he really educated me on the services that were due on my vehicle. 5/5 stars Ill definitely be back.!
I would have loved and was looking to give them 5 star.But After several follow ups scheduled for alignment around noon. They kept my car overnight only to be told next day there was some other issue requiring expensive repair.And then they don’t want to do alignment without getting struts replaced. Waste of time and not being able to use the car for one day. I got alignment done elsewhere at lesser price.I had the struts looked by Toyota service center they recommend changing it but it’s fine to ride along.I am glad they are doing good (being busy) and hope they keep doing good customer service in broader interest.

I had a worst experience ever. I had booked a truck for rental and they allowed it for Sunday. I even got a call from store that my reservation is confirmed. when I went to pickup truck, store was closed. I was not given any code to lockbox to get key. I called multiple numbers they gave but none of them answered and I left voice mail. After 1 hour waiting there, I got notification that my booking has been cancelled. So much frustrating and pathetic service.I would never go or recommend anyone to go to such u professional service provider, no matter its car service or truck rental or anything.Just avoid such people to make them understand value of customer s time.

This is the only place I take my car. Tyler always is upbeat and happy to see you, and the whole crew is very knowledgeable and efficient at their jobs. I always go for oil changes, but I had a belt go bad on me. I took it to Nick and Tyler and within a minute they knew what was wrong, showed me the dry rotted belt, and started fixing it. They are always happy to answer any questions you have, and they never talk down to you. They actually treat you like an appreciated customer. Amazing place.
Wife and I been going here for years - through several different vehicles. Mostly just for fluid changes, filters, wiper blades, inspections, etc. Have to say that it has been a consistently good experience. Always thought the first owner was a stand-up guy who would take the time to advise me on car-related decisions. Things are maybe even better with the new owner (who I had a chance to meet - also a great guy). Thanks for 8 years of great service!

I realize people who have bad experiences are more likely than good ones to rate these places, but I wanted to weigh in here. I have used this place for the last 6 years or so. I found them to be fairly priced, did good work, and honesty. I am pretty handy/mechanical and I never felt like they were trying to screw me out of any extra money or charges. The biggest selling point, and the reason I still go back there now that I dont live near by, happened several years ago when I dropped off my car for new brakes. It had over 80K miles on them and I was pretty sure it was time. I was amazed when they called me and told me there was plenty of life left on the pads, and they did not need any work. If they wanted to hose me....I set them up with a cream puff. They could have changed the brakes, made a few hundred bucks and I never would have known.I went back last week after not needing any work on my car for a year or more. Instead of my old truck and work out clothes, I showed up in a Cadillac and dress clothes from work. They changed my oil, and I also asked them to check the brakes (50K miles, and a few squeaks lately). Again, pretty easy for them to screw me if they wanted to.... and they didnt. Once again they told me the brakes were fine.I trust these guys, and Ive never had a bad experience with Rich the owner.
