Nice place to shop your weekly groceries. They have large variety of veggies, fruits, snack, cereal and other items. The dash cart is a nice concept and helps you avoid the line. You just have scan code from your Amazon prime app and then shop. While exciting once you confirm the list, it charges the card on your account. No waiting in line, no scanning of items later. Quick and easy way to get out.

It was a fun and new experience, especially with the dash cart. The employees explain and help you how to use it. Once u know its easy. Im actually thinking of applying to work there because it has a good atmosphere.

They have the best poke Ive ever tried in Southern California. If youre in the area and like poke, then I recommend coming here to try it out. They have a dining area in the store so you can grab your poke and a drink, pay and sit down to eat for lunch. Their bakery is also pretty awesome so I also recommend giving their pastries a try as well.

Truly a great experience in my first Amazon Fresh location. Being that its down in Irvine, I wouldnt normally drive all the way down to the OC since I live in LA County. Thankfully, I was in Costa Mesa doing my annual taxes that I decided to pay a visit to this store. Upon entry, the employees are welcoming and offers their assistance in setting up the smart cart for your shopping experience. Youve got to make sure you sign in to your Amazon account via the App and choose your payment method because thats the same payment method charged after you leave the store.While walking around the store, most of the items seem decently priced but a majority has either the same or higher priced items like Vons or Ralphs. I bought their frozen salmon and a few hot items from their Sandwich/Pizza bar. Definitely cheaper than other spots for their hot food and truly competing against Costco Pizza and other pizzerias. While the experience was fun, I dont think I would drive down again just to shop at this market. I still prefer my Trader Joes and Costco runs nearby.

Everything you could find at a typical Albertsons, Ralphs, or other regional grocery market chain, plus an Amazon return center and virtually contactless shopping. The convenience of not having to go through checkout isnt just a novelty, its genuinely made the experience more enjoyable and take less time. Im not quite sure how other stores that dont already have as large of an online marketplace are going to implement the same technology as whats happening in the Amazon Fresh store, but until then it stands as a sign of where the future of physical shopping is heading.

Went here for the first time, cool concept. I liked the integration they have with the Amazon app since I order off of it all the time. You can pre-order fresh made foods and have it done by the time youre done shopping and just pick up at counter and pay at checkout. Pretty good sales, they have some whole foods items and lots of the Amazon Happy Belly brand next to brands youre used to at other supermarkets.

Another Amazon supermarket chain. Two types of shopping carts: traditional and hi tech. Hi tech carts have built in sensors and camers to scan and checkout items. Still buggy. If you havent used one before ask staff to demonstrate for you. Lots of staff as many of them are picking items for online orders. Amazon products showroom and customer service are in the back. If youre price sensitive this store isnt for you.

Love the hot bar/salad bar! Definitely cheaper than Whole Foods. My husband loves the pizza. $8.99 for a whole cheese.

Nice experience with digital giant super store

I don’t understand why people rate this market with five stars. I decided to give it a try based on the reviews, and it was a complete disappointment. Very few choices, mostly their brand of products, the produce department had mediocre quality produce at whole foods prices, meat and fish nothing to rave about, and doesn’t even sell fresh bread. So I guess if you like the prepackaged kind of food that stays “fresh” for a month, and low-quality vegetables at high prices, this is the store for you. Last but not least, their checkout machines were not functioning properly, and they had me go from checkout to checkout until one of their registers processed my card. Definitely not my cup of tea!

Almost everything is way overpriced. Youd think Amazon would have better deals. Disappointed.

1st time @ this new Amazon Fresh & just loved it. Used my prime membership for discount etc. Found a 10 lb box of medium milk bones for my Fozi & neighbourhood pups.

Great Meat Department with quality meat but can be PRICEY. Wait for sales.Bakery items are very good and prices are good. Deli items are very good, but again, can be pricey.Produce is high. I avoid the non sale items.Not a good place for general grocery items. Generally significantly higher prices than most grocery stores.That said...a beautiful store. Great customer service and a quality staff.

OMG! Future is here, I thought I already knew about it, but its nothing like until you stopped by and experience it first hand, the smart shopping cart has cameras that scan items without you do anything, just put them in and here you go, see it on your carts screen, brought my 2months old to her what would be probably the NORMAL way for a supermarket in her generation, young and amazing team, I was happy to see all the crew were mellenius doing great job.

Just tried their Dash shopping. You use a special cart, but only get 2 bags to fill. Sign in to the app on your phone, get a special code and scan on the cart. Then, as you shop the cart scans the items as you bag them. Very cool 😎and easy. It shows the items and prices on a screen on the cart. When done, go through a special area. Your receipt is sent to the email on your account. Take the bags out and either carry out or put in a regular cart and leave. Its Awesome. I recommend it. Amazing how much you can get into 2 bags.

Nice clean store. Almost as good as a regular grocery chain store but just more tech involved. Employees were helpful and nice. Prices are higher than a regular chain store as well.

We will be perfectly honestly, we are less than enthused by this Amazon Fresh. The product selection is same old boring mass commercialized foods by national brands you get at any grocery store. Amazon Fresh store with self checkout carts. Its interesting. I do feel like the selection isnt great, but I did give it 5 stars for the novel concept. The carts seem ok for what they are, but I can see it improving in the future.

It’s so easy to shop there and the store was super clean and everything was fresh . Just downloaded Amazon app and connect your payment in and good to go, during a shopping when you put anything in your shopping cart the four camera on your shopping cart will capture and add to your shopping list and when you change your mind and take the things off of your basket it will disappear from your list and at the end you will check your list and good to go out .

Fun shopping experience. It did take a little longer than I expected but it was due to the learning curve. Carts are really neat! My son had fun helping me shop! Lol Employees were really nice and helpful!

First thing first, if you plan visit this store for their new high-tech shopping cart, be prepared to wait in line for it as the amount of those carts are limited. If you dont want to wait, they have regular shopping carts and regular checkout lines available. The store isnt very big, so the selections are limited with all the regular brands can be found at any other supermarkets. The price for the grocery isnt cheaper, its just average or more expensive for some items. All the hype is that high-tech shopping cart which is fun to experience once but thats about it. I also ran into a small problem with the cart; an item was scanned twice by accident but nor I or the store clerk can change the quantity for that item. The issue was resolved by them removing the item from the cart so it shows quality of one, then handed that item to be outside the cart after checkout was completed.

Really cool market, its a little on the smaller side but has most of the essentials. They have smart carts that you can log into with your Amazon account. It can detect when items have been placed into your cart and when they have been removed. Its a little finicky but worked fairly reliably. Just be sure to drop it into the cart slowly so that the barcode can be read. Checkout can be done right from the cart on the way out which makes it a very seamless experience. Do note that the smart carts are fairly heavy due to the additional electronic equipment. They do also have traditional carts and a regular checkout line as well.

Dash Cart is fancy. you put the stuff in it and it automatically recognizes. Then, the last thing to do is to walk out.BUT the prices here are quite high.

This is a pretty clever and smart business. Id say about half the people in the store are Amazon employees putting together online orders. They basically took an online order warehouse and opened it up to the public for additional walk-in sales. They also have an Amazon order section where you can pick items up or drop returns off. The place is always very clean and organized. The selection isnt like what youd find at a Ralphs, the meat isnt as good as a place like Sprouts, and the prices dont seem to be any better (or any worse). But the convenience is nice for me. The automated shopping cart system is pretty cool, but I am glad they still have traditional check-stands. And on that topic, the customer service is always excellent -- the cashiers are always super friendly and helpful. Downsides? A lot of blank spots on shelves because I think popular items get swooped up by online orders. But overall, super fast and convenient that gets the job done -- I rarely have had to wait in any line. Does it have everything? No, but itll get you by if you dont want to go to a traditional grocery store.

This is the coolest store! So many healthy options! The hot food area has amazing selections for everyone. We have a family of five there allergen free options for our boys, pizza for my husband and teenage daughter, cholesterol friendly for me. It is great!

The carts are a novelty which is fun to try. The staff was all very friendly and polite. The quantity of. Items was fewer than a traditional US grocery store, but greater than a corner store. The brands included some Whole Foods 365, some Amazon brands of basics (like condensed soup for 80 cents a can), and the expected major, such as Kraft.Produce was decent and selection was average. Meat and fish selection, as well as deli, was a bit smaller than a typical US grocery.I noticed that the shelf labels included ratings from Amazon online, I presume. I decided to go online to compare two prices. The silver polish was half the cost of the Prime price. But the pistachios were 30 percent more in store. Same brands. Most other prices were what I usually see.They had a 4.97 rotisserie chicken. We tried it and it was fine. Its smaller than Costcos and had similar ingredients, I think, but am working from memory.Alexa kiosks were stationed around. I thought it a bit odd since most people who would use Alexa have Smartphones, Id guess.It was a grocery store with mostly typical brands and a modest selection. Shopping aisles are wide and you could likely get in and out quickly. Based on what I cook and eat, it wont be one that I use regularly.

I really wanted to leave a good review. The shopping experience around automated checkout was pretty amazing. I also liked the clean store and friendly staff. However i got home and notice the garlic I bought was just totally rotten. Usually garlics last forever, so not sure how they keep their fresh produce but am very disappointed.

Basically Amazon is going after both Walmarts & Target and will crash them all together. If you thought Walmart is cheap come to Amazon fresh

Walmart quality and a privacy nightmare. They try to say they are promoting local by saying the lettuce is from Salinas (aka, northern California - where pretty much all lettuce comes from) etc. Lots of worker drones roaming around fulfilling delivery orders, all of whom look like they are in a panic as Im sure their job would be terminated if they dont meet strict metrics. Some think the instant self check out is neat but talk about a privacy nightmare. Imagine a minor going for a pregnancy test or someone going for a health product and now a giant corporation now knows how to cater data and marketing towards you? Now they are even trying to get you to give them your palm scan, a biometric data point, for a lousy $10! Whats next, your DNA?

Definitely a great experience at this location. Only wish there was one a bit closer to where I live.The other improvement from my first trip would be variety. Rather limited and while Im sure this is from looking at data and items purchased, there are some items simply missing even Aldi has in their limited and much smaller stores at better prices. Granted, not near as efficient of a shipping process.

Its ridiculous how easy and, I daresay, fun it is to shop here. I do use their automated carts and they make keeping track of everything so easy, it makes shopping here a delight. Yes. A delight. Okay, Ive probably been locked in for too long. The prices are largely reasonable and comparable to other grocery stores. But some deals really have to be seen to be believed. Its like anywhere else where the expenses in one area help them recoup the costs elsewhere, but they give deals on things you actually will use.That said, they are not always well stocked and things will run out fast. Thats the only reason it is not 5 stars. Everyone is super helpful and not checking out alone makes it worth my Prime membership. Try it yourself. Its the future.

Fun, but needs work. Smart cart had technical issues. Some of the produce looked dry. As many reviewers noted, most of the patrons were Amazon Fresh store shoppers.Ill give it a try after a year, see if it improves.

Clean facility. The folks that work there were courteous, and helpful. Prices were a bit higher than else where. The pricing makes sense for delivery at no extra charge but not for in-person shopping.

Newly opened store. Some items may not be on the shelf yet but workers are super busy in there restocking. But the prices are the best Ive seen and I got some pizza from the hot food bar. The chicken pesto pizza was definitely something to go back for. Especially because it was 1.98 a slice.

The prices are very good shops like a regular supermarket no gimmicks here....aisles are little smaller so if you have a cart can get tough....

Came here to make deliveries and a guy at the pick up location asked me to change my shoes since sandals werent allowed in that place. I told him that I didnt have any other shoes in my car and then he replied that OK you could wear sandals here today but need shoes next time. I have delivered more than 23 blocks at different stations and this was the first time my sandals was questioned. More than that, there were several other drivers wearing flip flops at that time and none got questioned like I did. If theres really a dresscode requirement, Amazon Flex or the manager of that location should public it in their app or website in advance and train some of their employees better to not treat independent contractors like a beggar when they come in.

First time going to a Amazon Fresh store. I enjoyed shopping there such variety. Fresh cooked food served. They had braised greens, very good. Wish one was closer to San Diego

New technology with fresh grocery store.

Very cool and different experience. I was so excited to try the electric shopping carts and they did not disappoint. I found the grocery shopping to be more fun than the usual but also a little more pricier. The cart did have trouble reading a couple of items if you didnt put it in the cart a certain way. There was also a lot of empty shelves which I was shocked by. They did have a electronic section where you can buy different Amazon tablets and products. They also carry hot food like pizza, Chinese food and various salads. I was thoroughly impressed overall. I would shop here again if I was in the area.

Like it, I go there with my friends yesterday, friendly employee helps me with dash car and I found a lot of high tech stuff in the store and it also use paper bag instead of plastic bag.

Really cool concept! Used the interactive shopping cart, which picked up the items we placed in the cart automatically. Alexa even helped with finding item locations. Was a futuristic Ralphs pretty much.

How about you give out a local phone number so you dont need to call the 800 number and wait 30 minutes just to ask a quick question on the local store.

The cart is awesome, gets us in and out quick! Great service and selection. I do wish they had Boar’s Head deli meats and cheese but that’s my only gripe.

This is not my regular grocery store but I like Amazon Fresh because there are a lot of high-quality products, not necessarily organic. The store is always clean and well organized. Definitely a good choice for anyone whos shopping in the neighborhood.

So many good deals and hard to find items. Love the selection. And it has fancy shopping carts that ring you up as you shop. Totally awesome shopping experience.

I have been wanting to visit the store for a while. Finally I did. Its a no frills store, no fancy display, primarily I think to fulfill the Amazon Fresh orders for home deliveries. I dont see many regular customers, mostly Amazon employees filling orders. Prices are reasonable. Some shelves are quite empty. I would not make a special trip to shop there, but if Im in the area and need something, I may pop in. Not disappointed but I guess I had expected a little bit more. Prime members can pay through the Amazon account if they have a default credit card linked to the account.

I’m from San Diego but go here every time I’m in the area and it’s great! Friendly staff and the prices are reasonable. Every thing is fresh, clean, and organized. I love the Deli section in particular because I can grab a quick bite to eat and the food well worth it.

Not an enjoyable experience with the checkout lady! First time visiting and we took a cart used our own bags and bought about $60 worth but we used a self-checkout cart which confused her and she didn’t want to check is out. After about a minute of discussion and ready to walk away she decided to help us. The first time will be the last time especially with the high prices. I’m a big on-line Amazon customer fan but not for Amazon Fresh.

This store appeals to me because of its extensive variety and high-quality food! They never fail to motivate and inspire me with their products! All of my family members should go to this store! I didnt know where to start the last time I went inside because their supermarket is so big. I went to the supermarket on Monday to get some supplies.

Good social distancing for the most part. Masks are mandatory, of course. There could be more regard paid to the arrows on the floor that indicate which way people must walk, for better flow. I like the convenience automated scanning provides. Simply place an item in your grocery cart, and the price is added to the running total. This makes it super easy to keep track of how much I’m spending along the way.

Basically a futuristic Whole Foods. I did the Dash Cart, which worked a lot better than I was expecting (with the exception of it having trouble scanning a coupon code from an email). Everything you put in your cart gets added to your order, and it shows a running total so you know exactly how much youre paying before you even check out. Pays directly to your default Amazon payment option, and if thats an Amazon card, you get an additional 5% back, and your purchase shows up in your order history.Deli food was actually pretty good and reasonably priced. I went opening day and there were about twice as many employees as customers. I went back 2 days later at 8pm and there was a line of 30+ people outside to get in, so Im not sure what the busy times are going to be here.

Not sure what point of this store is: they have far less variety and stock than Ralphs down the street, the prices are more expensive. only reason i go is when get big coupon in mail

After all the hype.....I was very underwhelmed. The regular prices are very expensive, and most of the time the sale items are still more than the super. Only exception is the hot food and deli items. For some reason the quality is good and the prices are reasonable. Go figure. I cant afford to shop groceries here with so many other choices in town. Judging from the lack of crowds, most others have figured that out.

Honestly, nothing too fancy about the food or quality of the products. It feels like a smaller version of whole foods. Using their cart was fun although it doesnt contribute to the convenience of shopping. My kids couldnt touch the card a certain way or else it would read error or sensor blocked for more than 10 times during my stay. A little annoying.The employees were great though
