This was my first club fitting and it was 100% worth every penny. Chris at Cool Clubs Oak Creek was incredibly knowledgable and patient as I wanted to learn about the process as well as get fit. We tried multiple clubs in different shafts and lengths to make sure we werent leaving anything on the table. Highly recommend Cool Clubs at Oak Creek and Chris as the fitter. Whether youre a single digit or higher handicap Chris will definitely get you dialed in as well as educate you on the process and the numbers. Clubs came in a reasonable amount of time with covid and taylormade having the clubs on backorder. I was updated as the clubs came off backorder and were in the process of being built. Highly recommend.
Getting fitted is hands down one of the best things you can do to improve your game! Josiah was a pro. Full Trackman experience, data to inform your intuition, excellent facility and absolutely no pressure to buy anything. I ended up getting a completely new setup (excluding putter). Really thankful for the referral to Josiah at Cool Clubs and have already had multiple rounds with improved consistency, longer drives and overall more confidence in my game. I waited a month after getting my clubs to write this to make sure I was happy and I am! I would encourage you to at least get fit for long game or irons to check it out.
This is the best investment I have made. Why spend any money your not getting the most on your investment into new clubs.
I play a lot of golf. Im down to 2-3 times a week, and Im still playing single digit with lousy fitting equipment. Im always looking to get a better set of clubs, and have been wanting to try Cool Clubs, because they offer many different manufacturers of clubs and shafts, the same as many fitters these days. I got a set from HotStix, which is similar, years ago, and they were great. Im still using some of those clubs. It all seemed good, the fitter had the best products and equipment available to any fitter Ive gone to since HotStix. But, the results from Cool Clubs was terrible. Everything was very expensive, which would have been somewhat justified if the results were excellent, but they werent.Amazingly, nothing was right. I had to laugh when I got them, because the fitter kept saying, I know what to do, and I know what you need, and the clubs we build for you will be better than these. Obviously we have a different opinion of what I want, need or whats better. The more Ive researched the shafts and heads, they werent a good match for me. I went to a custom fitter a couple weeks later and he started by finding my swing weight and then fit me for a shaft that fit my swing. It was like night and day, and it cost me a fraction of what Cool Clubs charged. The fitter from Cool Clubs didnt even get my grip size, or lie angle right. The clubs that Cool Clubs built for me were only in my bag for two rounds and now they represent a $5000 mistake.Id hate for anyone to have to go through this kind of experience, its definitely not cool. Thats why Im posting this review. Usually Id just let it go, but this was really, really bad, and cost a lot of money. Will they refund my money? No. Can they fix the clubs? No. Because theyre wrong from the start. Fix the lie angle and the grip and youve still got a bad combination. Its a total loss.I hope it helps to get an honest review from someone whos actually a customer and has been thru the not Cool Clubs experience.
