Super delicious bakery whos specialty are Portuguese egg tarts. But dont sleep on their cookies, banana pudding or cheesecake. Make sure you check their hours as they have varying hours through the week.

Go for the vibe and egg tart! But avoid the coffee unless you like very sugary drinks. The coffee tasted like pure syrup where it was impossible to drink after a couple sips. 😥

Great selection of gourmet drinks. These are definitely not the regular drinks you would get at other coffee shops. The most try drinks I would recommend are the Vietnamese coffee and the Mazapan Coffee. The Banana Pudding is amazing! Plus, the vibe of the place is great, it definitely invites you to sit and have a nice little break from work.

This was my first time at Paderias new location! Its just as nice as the original. I couldnt resist the seasonal pumpkin cheesecake and it was one of the best cheesecakes Ive ever had. It was light and fluffy, where cheesecake is normal quite sense. The crust had the perfect amount of salt to balance the sweetness of the cheesecake and cream topping. But maybe I just like salt because the salted chocolate chip cookie is my go to! I prefer no nuts in my cookies personally, but their classic chocolate chip with nuts is still delicious. I cant wait to try the next seasonal cheesecake!

Lovely place! Mazapan coffee was more my taste than my better halfs (I love it), ensaymada is much more cake like than the Filipino version were accustomed to but that cookie is awesome! Yeah, sugar high so a daytime visit is recommended.

I love everything here so far - egg tarts, cheesecake, cookies, banana pudding. Its honestly amazing. I guess the only thing I wasnt super thrilled on was their horchata. It was a bit too sweet for me...but not enough to deter me from coming back twice in a week.

This Triple Chocolate Cookie was delicious with a crunchy exterior, dense brownie-like interior, and two different types of chocolate chips. Without any nutritional information to factor into your daily dietary intake, it could be nothing other than dessert.

Yummy desserts. The cookies are thick so you dont need to many, and the ube cheese cake isnt to sweet.. the staff is very friendly and everyone seems to be working very hard. Great experience and I do recommend it. The mazapan coffee wasnt to sugary so if you dont put to much creamer in your coffees, this is a good pick.

Great tasting egg tart and cookies are yummy too. No bathroom for customer and when I asked if there is any in the plaza, cashier said she does not know. Toilet is basic necessity and it should be part of their service. They have to realize that.. none of the restaurants nor cafes close their toilet making COVID excuses. if they dont have toilet open next time, it will be my last visit.

Good pastries and speciality drinks but a smaller selection with some items that sell out quickly. When we went 3 of 9 pastry items were sold out already. We were disappointed especially to not get any Ensaymadas as that was the primary reason we went there. The red velvet cheesecake was very flavorful and delicious. The Dulce De Leche Horchata was phenomenal 😋. The Sea Salt Chocolate Chip Cookie was a little too thick for me but I would still recommend it. The egg tart was good. The Mazapan Coffee was very strong if you like your coffee strong this is the place.

TLDR: Get the egg tarts and sea salt chocolate chip cookies! Havent tried their other drinks but enjoyed their pineapple ice tea!Customer service was great, everyone was friendly and patient.I ordered 3 things, the pineapple ice tea, egg tarts and they were sold out at 1st but when i was waiting in line, but they restocked the sea salt chocolate chip cookies.Pineapple ice tea: sweet and loved the pineapple bits in there. For me, next time ill ask for less sweetness, but it was very refreshing on a hot dayEgg tarts: dont want to overhype it but these were so daym goodFlakey crust, creamy custard. Was HEAVEN!! Wish i ordered moreCookie: yummy and good size. I wish the sea salt was spread out on top more across the cookie to get that nice bite of salt throughout, but thats just my preference. Id still order it and inhale it tho!

I have really wanted to try their location in fountain valley but Im rarely in that area so, when it opened in Irvine I had to go. I tried their Portuguese egg tart, chocolate and walnut cookie, and their seasonal cheesecake. The egg tart was probably one of the better ones Ive had in the US (the ones in Asia just havent been beaten yet). It was nice and creamy with a good egg taste that isnt over powering. The crust was also nice and flaky. The chocolate walnut cookie was amazing. It was buttery, with a good amount of walnuts and chocolate chips. It was just a little expensive at $4.The best thing though, was the cheesecake. Right now its a lemon blueberry cheesecake topped with more blueberries. It wasnt sense like most cheesecakes but, nice and light. The lemon really helps with the creaminess and the big pieces of blueberries add a great surprise. Definitely try their cheesecake if its there! I thought this was a better value than the cookie.

Hands down the best Portugese egg tarts in town.To be honest, I havent really given their cookies a fair shot. I bake a lot of cookies and I guess its a combo of arrogance and just not being into the flavors that really keeps me from really diving in. That being said, everyone whos had their cookies RAVE about them.Ive had their ensamaydas and theyre good. Im not sure if the addition of cheese brings anything to their already delicious non-cheese version but definitely worth a try. (Yes, I know the cheese is a traditional thing but this statement only has to do with Paderias version.)My most surprising discovery though was their light cheesecakes. I think the flavors rotate and the latest one I tried was matcha. I thought Id just have a couple bites but I ended up pretty much monopolizing it. Thankfully hubby was gracious enough to cede most of the cheesecake to me.My only complaint would be they dont seem to have a great grasp of timing when it comes to placing online orders. Theyre never just ready when we arrive. Wait time ranges from 5 minutes up to 15-20 minutes past our order pick-up time. Everyones usually pretty nice about it but its still something to keep in mind if youre on a tight schedule.Anyway, check them out if you havent already!

A reasonably priced, more delicious Starbucks competitor.I love the global aspect of this bakehouse. The horchata, the Vietnamese coffee, Portuguese egg tarts, this bakery is not limited to any world location and everything is HIGH-QUALITY. Their cookies are unreal and I plan to come back for more goodies and drinks. The staff was so friendly, willing to educate about the menu, and easy to talk to. I cant wait for indoor seating to resume because this seems like the perfect place to chill, have some coffee (and an egg tart), and work. They also have an online ordering system for your convenience.I love to see more local cafes/bakeries showing up in Irvine and I am excited to try more!

Im so happy that this second location opened closer to me! If you love the Paderia in Fountain Valley, this one will blow you away. They have perfected everything there is to love about Paderia - the delicious food and drinks, the small town feel with their kind and welcoming customer service, all of the details in their store design, and the overall experience you get as a customer.Everything you get will be good, but I am currently addicted to their egg tarts, the blueberry coconut cookie, and the Citrus Refresher drink - I could drink that by the gallon if they sold it! My daughter also loves their iced coffee and their Vietnamese coffee - I couldnt believe the flavor in the iced coffee. We just drank it black and it was so good and flavorful as is.Seasonal: A must try - their lemon blueberry cheesecake. It was so good that it left me speechless - one of the owners was trying to ask me something and I couldnt respond because I was in a moment with the cheesecake, LOLLL ughhh. Wish I could eat that every day.I have taken a few of my co-workers here and they are addicted to the banana pudding and the chocolate sea salt cookie, and one of their husbands ask them to make dessert runs after work, lol thats how good everything is!Important: I was impressed with how they opened during COVID and all of the safety measures they have in place for safe purchases and social distancing - floor markers for distancing, masks required for entry, contactless payments, masks and gloves on all staff, signs for no dining in, and a PA outside for customers to hear when their order is ready. You feel safe as a customer and it helps you enjoy the experience with company.Definitely stop by if you are in the area - you can even call ahead for easier pick up!

Perfect crisp and flakey pastries filled with a perfectly cooked custard. They offer a variety of coffee and not caffeinated drinks that will compliment your desserts will.
