This particular Einstein Bros. Bagels restaurant is not clean. Replacement of supplies is very slow. The coffee finished before I fill my cup. One of two restrooms is out of order, the other is too filthy to use. Having said that, the bagels 🥯 are good. The service is decent. The location is beautiful. The breeze in the patio is breathtaking. The strip mall where it’s located is beautiful. Parking is free and easy. Next time I’ll take my bagels to go.

I gave them 1 star as they still have not opened indoor dining and the overall quality deteriorated beyond decent. It used yo be my favorite, but I stopped coming there for months, drive to a different one although this bagel shop is closer. Came in today, such a dirty mess....messed up my order, wrong kind of bagel, sloppy preparation of such simple dish...

The bagel was great and tasty, but the people who worked here just terrible. They don’t have manner and how to be nice to people to answer. Their ignorance will be the reason why Einsten Bros. Bagels got 2 stars. . . I hope they can trained the people who work in this place more nicely and friendly. . .

Hi there,I am a nurse who works locally, and I have breakfast when Im in the area. I have food allergies so I usually have the farmhouse bagel, and I have it specialized due to my food allergies. Its very good and filling for me.I also get a bagel with cream cheese spread. Its also very good.I pick up food for my coworkers and myself.The service is good for the most part, some of the employees could be more personable while providing service to all guest. The young ladies appear to be more sincere, personable and informative than the young men, just an observation during all of my visits.But, for the most part service is always efficent and the food is good. The inside and outside of the building is clean during my visits.I do enjoy visiting your establishment and will continue to do so.Thanks!

I never know what I am going to get with Einstein Bagels because there is no consistency in their work. Sometimes Ill get a bagel thats prepared correctly but oftentimes, Ill get a bagel that was put together in a rushed or half-a**ed manner. Makes me wonder why I should go to a bagel place where they dont know HOW to do bagels.

I usually go here for breakfast on weekdays. I like to customize my bagel sandwich. I start with a jalapeno bagel and add bacon, egg, cheddar, roasted red peppers, red onion, and cheddar cheese, with a spicy tomato spread.. Delicious!The temperature is usually a touch too cold inside the restaurant, so bring a sweater!

Good bagel spot. Bagel and schmear combo is the way to go. Its not NY bagels but its decent enough. Everything and poppy seed bagels all the way!

Second time Ive ordered curbside service bc I do have a broken leg. Its a lot getting in and out. This is now the second time where Ive shown up, and waited longer then 15m. No one came out. They werent busy. Finally my partner had to go in and get it. It was sitting there getting cold while 3 employees stood around.

First time getting catering and was pleasantly surprised! I have high expectations when it comes to bagels (coming from the NY/NJ area). So happy that I can get my fix here. I ordered a baker’s dozen + box of coffee, and I only needed to call maybe 20 min in advance. I love their unique bagels ie: mac and cheese gourmet bagel ^_^

Bagels are amazing. I got the chorizo sunrise and french toast chicken bagel it was so delicious. Staff was also very friendly and great. I wasnt sure what iced coffee I wanted and the cashier gave recommendations and it was very good! Definitely will come back!

Not a fan of the open faced lox sandwich it was easier to eat when they made it like a sandwich & cut it in half. I know it’s probably the corporation that made them change & that’s the only reason for the lost star. Service was good, quick & polite.I also appreciate the staff keeping other clients honest on the 5 customers max in the store at once due to COVID-19 restrictions. Thanks to all of you for that! I’m sure you get hassled by some people.

Service was not the fastest and the employees seemed confused about basic operations. I was not offered or given a receipt. Three people in front of me had their orders mixed up or wrong. Definitely need to work on their flow, other than that food was great once I received it.

I got the nova lox, barley anything on my bagel, bottom of everything bagel was plain, lady who rang me up was friendly though.

This was the WORST curbside ordering experience of my life. For starters, I waited in my car for 3 minutes with my hazard lights on as the instructions told me to (and I do at the other locations). After 3 minutes passed and no bagels delivered, the sign suggested I call for delivery of my bagels. I proceeded to enter the store, thinking it would be faster since I was in a hurry. Nope. Ignored by multiple employees and then the GM Amanda came by and told me I should have called. The sign says to call after 3 minutes. She hands me my food and as I get to my car I realize I am missing a coffee. I ordered 3 bagel sandwiches, 1 bagel, an orange juice, a chocolate milk, and two iced coffees. Now I order multiple free coffees all the time as long as I order multiple bagels. I could have placed multiple mobile orders but previously I was told that as long as I had multiple bagels on my order it wasn’t necessary to place multiple mobile orders. So back into the worst Einstein I’ve ever been into I go. After waiting another 5 minutes to speak to Amanda, I explained to her that I was missing a coffee. She tells me that it’s only 1 free coffee per transaction. Ok fine but you couldn’t tell me that when I picked up my order and ask if I’d like to purchase another one? Nope we will just pretend like it wasn’t there. Fine, charge me for another one but I need 4 drinks for 4 bagels. Amanda was incredibly rude, condescending, and uninterested in apologizing for the mixup or even showing any empathy for the lack of effort or communication from her team. Her leadership is awful, what a horrible role model for your employees. Merry Christmas Amanda, way to ruin my morning. Just when I thought I could get a little joy from a bagel in the morning. Next time I’ll opt for Starbucks for a better experience. Horrible!

Good bagels, but go to a different location. Very rude staff here. Getting a customers name wrong is understandable, but talking down to someone because they are not a native english speaker when they are trying to double check if an order is correct because YOU wrote the name wrong is not ok.

Super cheap bagels and a wide variety to select from? What else can you ask for? The bagels are not too unhealthy and will satisfy your appetite, plus you can choose from savory and sweet! Only complaint I would have is that the cost of spread on a bagel is the same price as the bagel ($1.59) but even considering all that, it is still a cheaper buy than most places and better quality you can rely on every time. Definitely get their lattes if you like coffee, one of the best Ive had from anywhere! Look into signing up into rewards programs, as you can collect points and get a free bagel upon sign-up!

I like the Everything Bagels toasted with shmear...However, the wait is usually longer than what you would expect from a fast moving product such as Bagels. I am not a big fan of their service, but the bagels are quite good.

This Einsteins is untrustworthy. App says they have a favor of bagel, place order, arrive and they don’t have. Then, upon substitution they cannot get the order right. When trying to call to make the situation correct, the location won’t pick up. First time thought this was a one off because Einstein is an established chain. However, having had this happen for a SECOND time, this behavior is not one off. You are better to travel a little further and go somewhere that respects your hard earned dollar.

Went for the first time today 10/11/2020, I used the mobile app to order and since it was my first time there it looked like i could get a free coffee with each meal i ordered. I ordered 2 meals and then added two coffees. When i go to pick up order, the shift lead proceeds to tell me actually that only counts for 1 coffee. So I ask well it said it was with two orders, can you just honor this coffee this 1 time since its my first time here. She proceeds to be incredibly condescending and say no but that i can happily buy another. First and last time going here, deleted the app. hope saving 0.99 cents was worth it. Hope the actual store manager sees this to handle how poorly his shift supervisors treat new customers and makes changes.

Manager was rude when buying and a bit short, but what takes the cake is a charge for lettuce we asked for on top of our bagel with lox. When we received the order the lettuce edges were all dark. Clearly this lettuce was past its prime and was not fresh. The quality was something that should never have been given to a customer. We informed the manager. We will never return here again. Not great customer service, but being charged for old lettuce without quality control is awful.

This morning had my best Einstein Bagel experience thanks to Mika. So very helpful and consecrate.

Amanda is a great manager and keeps everything in order. When she is working, the store is a well oiled machine that serves everyone with great customer service and quickly serves their orders. Would give 100 stars if I could. Great tasting bagels with great customer service, what more could I ask for?

Ive been coming here once a week for over 10 years. I had a bad experience this morning, and walked out. I called to speak with the manager, and she was argumentative. This could have been easily resolved with customer service 101, Im sorry you had a bad experience and offer a free bagel. Instead, I wont be back and will be giving my business to Shirleys Bagels, a great non-corporate, proprietary business, which I will be happy to support. Great job Einstein!

Wonderful bagels! I love their Monday special of 13 bagels for $6. I get that every 2-3 weeks and normally it lasts me that long too. And the bagel sandwiches are delicious too! Its all great. They close kinda early, but its understandable since they open up early.

I would recommend this place to a friend who likes bagels. They have a wide array of choices and each one an experience in itself. You can have it toasted with different choices of cream cheese, from sweet to spicy. I usually go for regular coffee or vanilla latte and cant comment on all drink choices. These two are good. The staff is courteous and the music is lively, sit indoors or take a seat in the sun.

Probably some of the best bagels you can get in OC. Their made to order sandwiches arent great though and the dining area is somewhat dated. Just take a bunch home and make your own, theyre delicious :)

I went to store today and on Sunday to buy bagels. Their supervisor was so rude to me that I was going to leave the store. She was yelling at me because of a discount coupon that their own company had sent it to me. She had the same misbehavior with my son on Sunday and yelled at him too. It is because we are the people of color and she is white? she did not yell at anyone else and respected all other customers.

Good food. Mediocre service. Unable to place online order or call in for pick up, but the bagels taste good and the coffee is excellent. Try the hashbrowns!

Ordered a big order online the night before and came to the store in the morning and it was all ready and correct. Staff was helpful making sure we had everything (napkins, plates, knives, etc.) . Even if you just want a quick breakfast snack in the morning this place seems to be able to get you a delicious bagel in a reasonable amount of time. Store is clean. Parking is kinda crazy at times.

Amazing bagels..picked the cheddar jalapeno with garlic herb spread. Its good. Was crowded at 7.30.AM but was handled effectively. Would order upfront over phone the next time.

Tomato slices and onion cut by a cave person. Got a bagel and lox this afternoon with the crudest prep I have ever seen. Thick, thin, partial slices of tomato and giant chunks of onion slices just as crude. On top of all this was one measly slice of lox. The entire package was almost comical. Sorry I didn’t take a picture.

Great selection of bagels, continually made so it is fresh and hot. Love the Green Chili Bagel my favorite. Make a note the Monday deal $6.00 for 13 bagels cant beat it. Busy periods are in the morning 7 am to 8 am, however the line moves and service is quick.

Came in for breakfast today. Got the Nova Lox bagel sandwich. Kind of pricey ($7). Bagel was alright. It had lox, cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, and capers. Capers were really salty, which didnt help because lox is already salty. But, it was pretty filling for a breakfast bagel.Inside, tables are self-seating, but this seems to be a problem. When I tried to sit down at a table, I noticed most places were rather dirty and when I finally found a cleaner place, I still had to clean it up before sitting.Overall, enjoyed my breakfast, but wouldnt really go out of my way to come back again.

Staff of two were quite busy doing something, but not acknowledging customers presence. After a looooong wait, one of the two finally stepped to the counter, and I responded to her offer to help, with Coffee and a Coke, please. Without saying anything whatsoever to me, she turned to the second and third people in line and said does anyone want a bagel? Then served the people behind me!

Everything here was fresh place gets crazy busy but the line moves very quickly. They lost my order one time during a visit when they were crazy busy but they were vry quick to make things right once I brought it to their attention. The staff here have been very friendly during very visit Ive had here which is more than a dozen now and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for coffee and bagels.

Could be better. Came here twice. Day one, bagels were good, but as we lean later, every order comes with side and we didnt get that. Day two, now we got our sides but bagels were mediocre.

The young barista who made iced mocha latte did not like when I asked how she made my drink and when I let her know how the drink could be made better. Its funny how some baristas dont get offended when I give them good advice about the best way to make my drink and how others get upset about it. GEEZ, can we all just get along?!

Opens really early for all our early birds. Many offices call in their orders and pick them up, so you will see bags and boxes of bagels at the entrance ready to be picked up.Locals can get deals in the mail, so get your bagel, and coffee today before work! The Lox and Cream Cheese, and the bacon/cheese bagels are my favorite sandwiches here!

This is one of the only places that my wife will eat Bagels from. Their schmeer is a big draw for this place too. Cant beat their bagel Mondays 6 bucks for a dozen.

There was a very large selection of bagels to choose from and both, my wife and I, ordered breakfast sandwiches that were delicious along with desert pastries to take home. The staff was very friendly and our orders were completed very quickly.

Been to this location multiple times. Most of the times have been easy and straight forward with ordering and quality food. The last time was significantly disappointing as I used a gift card and the magnetic strip was not functioning. Somehow my card was accidentally charged to a different order when it was manually entered. It was finally charged against my order. When I asked if I had been double charged, I was asked very bluntly to be quiet while another employee tried to resolve the issue. While the situation was ultimately resolved, it was extremely rude and unacceptable to tell a customer to be quiet when they were simply asking on whether they were being charged extra and incorrectly. That being said, if this is an isolated event, I would still recommend the location.
