A sun dried tomato bagel was the best. Others were just normal bagels.

This spot is awesome! The bagels are fresh and soft, delicious cream cheese. Usually has a line in the morning time but it is so worth it. Also the staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful!

Basically bagle is bagle. what makes better bagel is not something special but just delivering what everybody expects well in a consistent manner, and east coast bagel does that.totally recommend this place.alsi, a person who receives the orders is very friendly and i like the vibe he gives. it makes my weekend morning.

Like a reviewer said- a bagel is just a bagel, and for me its not worth it. Im happy that others support this place so much since we need to support local Irvine businesses. So i put 4 stars, I dont want to give a bad rating. However, the wait is too long (all the time) like 30-40 mins just to get a simple bagel with cream cheese & orange juice. You wait in a line to order, then you also wait again to get the bagel... They need to have a better process in place to make order pickup at least quicker once you place it with cashier. I thought these would be super gourmet bagels or something with all the waiting going on and so i decided to try it out one day... Nope! Just regular cafe bagels. Lol, still good, but nothing crazy. I will just get them somewhere else next time with no wait (sorry!). Some donut stores have the same fresh quality bagels and they are super quick too! 👍

These bagels are fresh and the service is good. My favorite is the jalapeno cheesy and the cheesy garlic. The super cinnamon is yummie like a donut. I want to also say that according to my son, he is very generous with students who come in toward the end of the day and he gives them plenty of the days-end bagels to take back and share with classmates. Kindness like that shows in the customer service I always get.

Each time I come here, theres always a big line! That just to show how great this place is. Its delicious! I always come and order a dozen bagels and jalapeño cream cheese to take home. Oh, its so good! Their bagels are fluffy and pretty decent sized. Also check out their breakfast sandwiches....Yum!

Here at least a few mornings every week. Best Bagels in my opinion. Sometimes no wait, sometimes a little wait but still worth it. Only a couple guys working normally but they hustle. My conworker Ivan is happy when I bring the Cheesy Jalapeños w cream cheese.

I have been going here for over 5 years now, me and my wife love this place for a weekend morning breakfast. They are really busy on weekend mornings. My two favorite bagels here are the scored garlic bagel with jalapeño spread and cheesy jalapeño bagel with garlic and herb spread. Recently I tried spicy deluxe bagel and it was awesome too.

I only recently discovered this place but we will be back. We had been going to a different bagel spot near The District, this place was a wonderful find! They always get my tricky order right and the food is hot and super affordable! I’m a big fan of the West Coast Bagel Sandwich!

They messed up my order and the bagel tastes very bad. Terrible customer service.

They forgot my order for 20 minutes then said they ran out of the bagel i wanted but when i ordered they had a couple left.

I really LOVE this place. Delicious bagels and different types of cream cheese and other fillings available. Good coffee too. I dont go there often as they open just as my shift starts at Ralphs.

Terrific service. Excellent bagel. I had an onion bagel w butter and cream cheese. Was delicious. I went their to try a bagel hoping to satisfy a craving. More than did. I also noticed on the menu a variety items other than bagels that had me thinking of lunch when it was on 6am. A definite repeat patron here.

One of the best bagel stores ever. Staff is super nice and helpful and gets everything done fast and easy with no hassle. Bagels are made in store and tastes great. If possible get them in the store and not for home. Come here if you need something for the morning and need it quick.

Sooo good! My girlfriend and I went for the very first time and we loved it! Bagels were super soft and huge. Service was super quick and simple. Everything just looked and tasted so fresh. Will definitely be coming back.

I got the lox on an everything bagel with jalapeno cream cheese, open faced. It was good, my only complaint was the bottom of the everything bagel had nothing on it.

Best bagel shop in the universe! I have not had one day where I was dissatisfied. All of there -well food- are handmade which makes it even more delicious! While the lines are long, its totally worth it! Make sure to get double the servings because youre definitely coming back!

I have been coming to this spot for over 10 years, and they continue to impress me every time. The turkey avocado on spinach parmesan is really great! The variety is endless, and they make fresh bagels every morning so the quality is great. The folks who work here have been here for decades, always greet you with a smile. For many years this particular location has served the most delicious, most reasonably priced bagels in all of Orange County to crowds of devoted partisans. The line can sometimes be long in the morning, but it always moves swiftly and they are constantly cooking fresh bagels. There is nothing as delicious as one which is still warm from the oven. I liken it to the Portos of bagelries.

If you like sweets, get the chocolate one. If you like salty savory go for the Parmesan garlic. Great bagel shop for a quick morning breakfast.

Great! Small town shop feel with high quality bagels! The eggs may be microwaved, but they are real eggs, not preformed egg patties like other corporate bagel shops. bacon was delicious too. Definitely coming back.

They close early and then yell at you if you knock on the door. I arrived at 1255pm and they already locked the door. Sign on the door says they’re open until 1pm. Very rude employee!

I went here literally everyday for lunch for 3 years (the high school is right by this place) and the food was always fresh, hot, and delicious! They have a huge variety of bagels and their bagel sandwiches (beggels) are the best. The coffee here is also really good! Wonderful place to eat with great service! Their prices are also really cheap which is how I survived as a broke high schooler lol

Great consistent bagels. The egg sandwiches are really good as are the lunch sandwiches. Ive been coming here for 9 years and love this place. I recently moved out of state and when I came back for work I made sure I stopped here. Its usally very busy on the weekends and during lunch when Irvine High School is in session. Nice people and they try to streamline the wait the best they can when its busy. Im grabbing a bakers dozen to bring on my flight home so my wife and kids can enjoy them again!

While the bagles were good the guy behind the counter didnt wash his hands between handling cash from who knows how many customers or even bother to wear gloves. Prep area was rather dirty too. My boyfriend also got a minor case of food poisoning most likely from the listed conditions, thank god it was only an upset stomach.

Dishonest. Buyers make sure you see what kind of bagel they slip into the brown bag before you leave the store. One of the two plain bagels I purchased this morning, was seemingly either old or simply from the unsuccessful tray that shouldn’t have been sold at regular price at least. Delicious chicken salad bagel, I got mine on cheese and onion. Went around 11 am and had to wait about 20 minutes total for food.

One word ... Bialy!!! This is the only place outside of NY where I found fresh made Bialys and they are delicious!!! With their delicious cream cheese and really good lox on it, what more could one ask for! Funny, but buying lox in stores it always seems stringy or tough. At East Coast Bagels it is always tender and not over salty. Their bagels are the real deal too, true NY-style and taste.

Originally from New Jersey, Ive always said it was tough finding a comparable bagel in Orange County, California. I discovered this bagel shop when I moved here in 2002, and crossed that off my list as reasons to head back east. The bagels are made right in the shop. They have a wide variety of bagels as well, and displayed in those wired bins similar to back east in an up-front counter where you can see them. The same guys are making these bagels that made them when I arrived here, and always efficient, hard working, and friendly. You can also get great sandwiches made with these bagels. Although at times theres a line, it moves fairly quickly. People wait patiently because its good. Another bonus is the home-made cream cheese. Bada bing, bada boom, now youre tawkin!

Solid bagels with fresh squeezed OJ. Turkey avocado is a must or if your vegetarian get the veggie bagel and add an egg to it. Good for hangovers!
