All sorts of different sizes and shapes of metals. My mind went wild with the project possibilities. The have a remnants section out back with less expensive various size pieces of metal.

UPDATE: Still one of my favorite places. Needed some leaf spring spacers and they happened to have 6061 bar in dimensions I needed and cut them to length. Great prices, great staff. Still highly recommend.

I am just a DIYer, but I have been coming to Industrial Metal Supply for a long while for various projects all the way from metal stair rails, to decorative metal posts, and even a custom fireplace grill. They are very helpful and friendly even though I am a small-time customer. Since I also have an arc welder, I also get supplies and advice from the staff. By the way, prices and selection are way better than big box hardware stores...Fun stuff for a hobbyist!

Been going to IMS for over 16 years, this place is almost double the price of other local suppliers. The staff is rude half the time and they will give a price to later change it when you go to the location .Avoid this place and find a different supplier of you want better prices and service .

I stopped in to pick up materials for a metalsmith class I’m taking. Our teacher sends us here because they sell the best price for plates of copper and brass compared to stores similar to it. I spoke with 2 guys at the front counter and both were so nice and friendly.

Like most of us, I really like this place. They do great right up until you check out and have to deal with a couple of the guys at the counter that have chips on their shoulder or sticks up you know where. Attitude is completely unnecessary guys, and your not as smart as you think (you know who you are and maybe consider something less stressful). Some staff is excellent, so hats off to those guys.

Its a lil pricey. But they have a good selection of materials. My problem with this place is if you need something cut they dont always do it very accurately or fast. So keep in mind you might have to wait and give them a few inches to mess up.

Great location for metal supplies

Ims is a bit expensive, but they take really good care of the material and the staff is super friendly. whenever i pick stuff up from tell steel or someone else it always looks like it was dragged through the parking lot before they deliver it. NOT IMS! always in great shape and decently clean.ive been going there for 15 years and will always shop there whenever i can.

This is the 2nd time come here for 1 special cut on 16 gauge steel. Took 1 hour & 1/2! Never again.
