Biggest Walmart Ive ever been in! Which is good, and bad. Im sure they have just about everything you would need, but the place is so big I wonder if the employees even know where some things are. They need an inside the store GPS system for the customers.

Grocery pickup went smoothly as always... but the garden center deserves to go out of business. I parked at the garden store end to run in and get 3 bags of soil. First, the door didnt work, but an associate motioned for me to pry it apart. Second, they had no carts and despite many associates stocking, they told me to go to the center of the store to get a cart. Third, back to the garden area, loaded 40lb bags (no offers to help). Fourth, I went to the cash register, but was told there was no cashier, Fifth, Id need to go back to center of the store... Sixth, walk back to my car from there. Seventh, there was only one cashier working and that line stretched back deep into the clothing area. My groceries were well thawed and the manager was out to lunch, an understatement. But lucky for him or her, there was no one for me to kill. The only person dying was me, Im 75 and very tired.

Would be nice to enforce the mask mandate!

Always friendly workers. Very helpful when asking for help finding things.Only con is there are barely any cashiers for people who pay with cash because self checkout is card only most of the time

This place is a joke! Ordered pick up Friday night between 6 to 7 PM, got an email saying it was delayed. I was thinking fine that’s not the first time it happened. 8:16 PM rolls around, with no word on the pick up so my husband calls and they have no idea when it’s going to be ready whether it’s going to be Saturday or not. Saturday rolls around and my husband calls continuously to see if the food was ready and nobody would pick up the phone. They do end up calling him back and telling him that it’s ready, so he goes and sits in the pick up parking lot waiting for them. Eight or so cars get loaded up and leave while he’s sitting there. They come out and say that it’s not ready like they said it was and they had to go and get pretty much everything. We did not get an option to edit our substitutions and they missed some things out of the order and would not give us a refund. Management is clueless and the whole thing is crazy, Walmart should be embarrassed.

Its a Walmart... I mean its not too dirty and 2 self check out areas so getting out of there isnt too hard. Expect it to be like a Walmart and youll be fine.

It was pretty busy and they didnt have a few items I was looking for. They need to be better at executing a proper truck order as those were important things I really shouldnt have left the store about. I ride the bus so I would come back as its conveniently on the route.

I love Walmart clearance sales. They have some really good deals.

An employee that worked at this Walmart stopped me and told me God told him that I should be a preacher and Im protected by God he is also a preacher now just a messenger that spread love and knowledge in the community Walmart is a good place to shop!! And now when I send a money order there from Walmart to Walmart its returned to sender me!!

Updated a year later.......🙄🙄🙄The automated service says check website for store and department hours. The web page says money center closes at 11pm everyday . Go into Walmart on Sunday they close at 6 pm? Why? People have stuff to do on Sundays too. Go to roebuck Walmart they say yes they stay open to 11pm but they have no one to work that area? Not even the managers? Lazy just lazy

The price scanners have all been removed so I cannot check prices. I saw Great Value Pitcher Filters marked $1 on the shelf, but they rang up 4.94. I had even taken a picture of the bar code on the shelf but couldnt get the cashier to give me the price. I only purchased one instead of the three I had chosen.

This location has improved a lot. Orientation of the store, more space. More variety of produce including organic, farm harvested, and close local farms. Aisles are clean and spacious. Social distancing markers, hand sanitizers, and wiping in place. Noticed more self check outs than cashiers.

No problems finding what I needed. Check-out was crowded. Self-checkout associate didnt want to re-stock grocery bags. People were just putting items back into carts after purchase. He claim he couldnt find any. But he found a whole box when I asked for the manager. 😂

No one in the store cares about anything that you’re doing. I had to exchange something so I went to the service counter. At the service counter, there were three women standing there talking not helping anyone while 4 people were waiting in line ahead of me. None of them helped us until they finished their personal conversation. Once the first person was called up, the other 2 employees disappeared which ensued a wait of 30 minutes until I was helped. My exchange took all of 3 minutes.

A while about 6 months ago I went to customer service, the cashier had two guys waiting on her to get off! I dropped 3- 100 dollar bills, instead of the Wal-Mart employee telling me, she signaled the two guys that was waiting on her to get off to come stand right beside me while she diverted me asking to another register! When I noticed I dropped it & played it out through my head what occurred, I called this Wal-Mart along with 1-800-Wal-Mart! The manager over this particular WAL-MART lied to cooperate office, by saying I stated to him i was going to call the police make a report & just wanted them to assist me in the investigation! I never got in contact with him or even talk to him. He helped cover it up & I nothing never came of it!So please do not only watch out for other people to steal or rob you, watch out for these Wal-Mart employees at this particular store as well!! I STILL HAVE THE RECEIPT WITH THE DAY & TIME IT OCCURRED, J KEEP IT AS A REMINDER ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR WAL-MART, SO I WILL NEVER FORGET WHAT HAPPENED TO ME THAT DAY!!

There are never enough registers open and half the self-checkout machines are usually broken. Also, the only person who answers the phone is the pharmacist.

Great to run in and grab lunch from the deli. Fresh chicken and more to choose from. Employee was polite. Really quick in and out.

Only one cashier was on the register! Had to wait until another person was called from some place else. There should be more than one cashier working the front. Management should pay more attention! Need better customer service!

You ever go to a Walmart and wonder if they are going out of business or they had some extreme fire sale happen. If you havent go to this WalMart and experience a lack of anything you want first hand. The employees had good attitudes but very little in the helpful department. It got the job done but it was a real mission to find what I needed.

The staff, especially the greeters, are friendly and courteous. The pharmacy is always professional, quick, and very knowledgeable! I only use this pharmacy!However, Recently, the overall store has been low on certain products and food items, like in the deli and overall home products.

Took a friend there for a money pick up, but picked up Vit C at a great price.

As said in all reviews, the worst store in the southeast. The manager is incompetent, the employees hate you if they are not mowing you down they ignore you. The shelves are never stocked. I wish that they would close this store and move it back to IRONDALE under new management and intelligent staff....

I am from Fla and came to this location. The customer interaction can be way way better. When I had a question there was no hesitation on telling me where it was, but when I said Thank you for your time no one said anything back.

I like going here the very few times I would like to run into someone I know. Mostly itll be someone I knew twenty years ago. Thats basically the only reason besides what Im looking to purchase from within the store.

I have never been more harassed, embarrassed, and angry in all my life. I visited the Walmart in Trussville on Monday, June 14th right after they opened. I was excited to actually be shopping for myself and was curious to see what you deals were available at Walmart. Everything was fine until I began to check out at the self checkout lines. There was a particular employee there who flat out accused me of stealing. She attempted to ring up items that I had already scanned under the premise that I had missed them. She then would not help me with my payment, as I needed to do a split payment on two different cards. She also ridiculed my voice and refused to apologize for her actions. She would not even check out my receipt when she knew she was wrong. Three days later I went to talk to the manager about my experience that day. A lady named Robin gave no answer and no apology for the way I was mistreated. She said the general manager, she could not remember his name, would be able to contact me by Saturday. It is Tuesday of the following week, and I still havent heard back from the manager. Not only did she flat out accuse me of stealing she also ridiculed my voice, made fun of me not knowing how to do a split payment and not willing to help at first, and she refused to apologize for her actions. She said and I quote Im not going to apologize for doing my job. Well if your job is to harass everyone that you suspect of stealing which I was not doing and it was proven on camera and proven with the receipt and with the items that I bought. I have never been so irritated at a place and at another person for doing her job. She needs to go back to training that is not how you handle this situation. Anyone and their grandmother knows that is not how you do this. Tomorrow Ill be going back up to the Walmart and there will be a continuation of this post.

Its never a dull moment visiting this place, theres laughter from the time you enter to the point of checking out. You never know what you might see! 😁 Overall, Ive been shopping here since Walmart open in this location. It has its challenges but theyre professionally worked out without the mishaps. Its good to see that its diverse now which is a major plus. The shelves are constantly being stocked and the employees are manage very well on keeping the store clean. Its a very welcoming environment and I would definitely recommend this place!

This walmart is fairly decent. Sometimes its hard to find help and theres never open registers. If they would hire more people to run a register I would give them 5☆.

Food was delicious as always. Lunch cost is so reasonable. Wait was less than 10 minutes. Staff very friendly.

This particular Walmart is the closest to my house but one of the most ghetto and unprofessional. I love saving money but I am aware of the general culture of the store

This location is the Chantilly Parkway store. It was not stocked very well which is typical for this store. They had only 2 or 3 cashiers at 4:30 in the afternoon which is rush hour. A few more cashiers would be helpful. Masks are required for entry

Dirty, the self check outs are usually cash only,and a lot of the shelves are empty. Do not bother asking for help cause the employees know just as much as you do.

I HATE THIS PLACE!! The self checkout only take cards! They only have 1 maybe 2 cashier lines open! I’m two weeks away from having a baby n have to stand in a long line going down to the self checkout! This is beyond pitiful!!

Its Wally World! They have everything you could want or need. The area is nice and i always feel safe even alone.

Management at this store has made big improvements over the past 6 to 12 months. This is a high-volume store so this post will have to be updated as needed. October 12, 2019 all self checkout were working. 2 sales associate (yellow vest ) were working the area. Sunday, March 2,2021 8:00 AM very crowded and the self checkout was packed. I only saw 1 checkout with a employee helping.

Store is clean and has a good stock of groceries and household goods. The location is convenient.

At 8pm on a Friday night, they had no carts and suggested I bring one in from the parking lot. Not busy. Only offering self-checkout and not wanting to process cash based our purchases. Pleasant floor manager apologized for lack of carts and floor help.

Forgot my wallet so I paid with the app. It worked great.

This store has REALLY GONE DOWN. BAD PRODUCE, SHELVES EMPTY. SAD

This location takes a lot if self control and patience to shop at...they are always following me around and having security scan whatever department I go in. What is so funny is I have never been caught shop lifting at Wall Mart at any location... Or at any other store for that matter. Stealing just wasnt something that I wanted to be part of doing. I have watched people literally robbing them blind a few feet from me and they miss it to accuse me if trying to steal a $1 jar of Mandarin oranges by not ringing up one of the 10 jars I rang up. I was paying with food stamps, so its not like I was paying with cash and trying to save some back by stealing $1/items. The store is always under staffed, under stocked, and never clean. They always start yelling over the speakers about closing at least 45 min before closing, because they stop letting people in 10 min before they close. On one occasion, they let myself and about 12 other people in with 25 minutes to shop...at 15 til they forced us to all come to check out, but another manager had already started closing the last few registers, or whatever the closing routine is...so after letting us all in, and letting us waste 10 to 15 minutes shopping in a very huge hurry, only to be yelled at with extremely bad attitudes, and then told we couldnt pay for our items and take them home, we needed to just get out....Wal Mart is always to the extreme in some way... But..this one is always ratchet.

1. Never Stocked up2. Pallets blocking entire corridors in produce and in front of the pharmacy so u have to go to the end of the corridor just to go across an aisle.3.Strawberry bags usually are usually have more than half of them rotten.4. Staff that is catering to pick up orders are rude and will push your cart if they need to get to something, without any excuse me or even acknowledgement.5. Thirty minutes before closing time they announce that everyone needs to start billing their cart items but when you get to the ch3eckout Aisles, they only have the self checkout lanes open. Not even the ones with the long conveyor belt but the small ones for quick checkout.This is probably the worst Walmart branch in this region. The only reason we go here is cos it is the nearestThis used to be a good store a coupe of years ago. Not Anymore

Terrible terrrible TERRIBLE. Shelves are almost always out of stock. Associates are rude and unhelpful. You would think that with us being in a pandemic and having such a shortage of workers and available products management would take better care of their customers and store presentation.

I think theyre the same everywhere. I love the one stop shopping, but security hall do their job and stop people who are genuinely shopping and allow the boosters to walk right by. All the shoplifters go to Walmart

Mothers Day weekend but everything was pleasant. Thats a first for this store. No chaos.

The GM Darian was Rude & very unprofessional. They were crowded with only 2 cashiers. The line was around the corner. I used the wrong payment for purchase when I stood at the Customer Service like a bum wanting for help but everyone was getting off. The GM said it wasnt relevant that I was doing the right thing & all he cared about was that the groceries were paid for. If I wanted to switch payment he wanted me to bring all $400 of groceries back into the store with Covid restrictions still in effect. I did just that & requested a full Refund instead of what I originally wanted since the GM was so garbage. Now he can explain why he wanted to throw $400 worth of groceries away verses changing my payment method. Never will go back to that store again. I wasnt the right skin color to receive better service.

The 1 star is for the only associate there willing to be respectful and courteous to the customer > especially after a CS manager had walked away while I was speaking 2 her. Sam Walton would be mortified by this woman who is not legendary for good customer service but for horrific treatment of one for no reason whatsoever!! In all reality Walmart doesnt care about the customer, as it shows- but they know you will shop there to pay less. THEY HAVE NO SHAME LIKE THAT Customer service monger!

Its a Walmart- kind of tells it all. Clean and fully stocked in the grocery aisles.

All the employees are most helpful, and very kind.. Overall a really a wonderful shopping experience.. on complaint would be the selection is very very minimum, and thats if there is even a selection.

As far as Walmarts go it was not too bad. Produce department was a bit under stocked. Bathrooms in the back of the store were relatively clean. Employees were nice.
