I came here and got THE BEST service I have ever had!! Steven Nguyen is awesome! His work was so fast and accurate and he has the best customer service ever! I recently reached out to Ryan Shetler at Billion Honda in Iowa City and asked to just keep an eye out for any used trucks that met certain criteria for me. Within a couple weeks he sent me a couple that they just got in and made time for me to stop in, test drive several and to also get a value on my trade in. Due to the excellent service, upfront honesty and him making an effort to keep me in the loop about what’s in stock due to the crazy market we are in helped me feel confident in purchasing a truck that day. Went back and forth on a quote for a car. Salesman liked to argue and call other dealers liars. I was upfront and said hey, if you cant match or even come close, just let me know, I get that every dealer has a different pricing philosophy(I have purchased/leased/transacted on 25+ cars in the past decade). I wont name the salesman because he seemed newer and just doing as trained. Its a shame because he probably has potential but got taught the OLD SCHOOL dealer thinking. Bought (leased) our car out of Omaha instead and saved over $4k over what Billion was offering. Buyer beware. Dont go in ANY dealer uninformed.

Billion Honda is the best!! It all started when my tiny Honda Civic was having lot of problems that really did give me a migraine and thats not even including college burnout. I called them in the morning and they were able to get me in on the same day! What a relief especially if you are a college student and dont have enough free time. They made my day by fixing my car as quick as possible and I didnt have to cancel my plans to go visit my family. I trust them with my car and came back and brought in my other car for quick repairs. Cost was reasonable, no long waiting periods, and staff is super friendly! I would definitely recommend Billion Honda to my friends and family :)

Ive dealt with these folks for the last 25 years and they just seen to get better all the time. If you cant find a car you like then you need help. These guys are loaded with vehicles. And they are always ready to answer any questions or help you find what you are looking for. Love the Hondas... And so much more. Used cars, New cars. Cars with little mileage and cars with mediocre mileage but you are sure to find what you want. And No pressure to buy before youre ready. Simply beautiful vehicles on all their lots.

Two separate employees told me it would cost $120 plus tax MAXIMUM ($80 minimum) to diagnose my Honda. I went in to pick up my car, and they hand me a bill of $153 because they had to “dispose of hazardous waste”. I was told they were only going to check what I asked them to, so I have no idea what “hazardous waste” they are referring to or why they were even dealing with it in the first place, as I didn’t ask them to check/drain any fluids. When I asked why this charge was on my invoice, the man at the main desk was of no help and offered zero explanation as to why this charge was there. This is the main thing that has turned me away from taking my car here in the future. He looked at me as if I was bothering him by simply inquiring about an extra charge that I was not told about. Extremely upset with my experience here at Billion Honda in Iowa City.

Not only did I get the usual inspection with my oil change, but they now text you an inspection video and quote for any additional servicing your vehicle needs while you wait. Had two cars in for service this week. Doug Cairy is an excellent service coordinator! I was able to schedule both this week and the service was done in good time and any additional items and or work needed was relayed quickly and, in one instance with photos/ video from the technician. I was also very glad to see that the dealership had good COVID19 precautions firmly in place. I could go to the other Honda dealership in Cedar Rapids for service but I make the trip to Iowa City due to the excellent service we get working with Doug Cairy.

After I get a quote for 1400 bucks for a fuel pump on a 95 Chevy Astro van in which more than likely was not the right diagnosis because I have a brand new fuel pump in and I have fuel going to my rail however they said they did not feel comfortable replacing my fuel pump so they gave me a really high price and basically sent us out of there in 17 below zero weather with my family

I highly recommend using Chip Vanderpol as your sales guy at Billion! He has gone above and beyond to help me from before sale to over ten months after! I am originally from California and during the pandemic I had to leave my car in the garage of my apartment. AAA wouldnt jump my car because I wasnt in the state at the time and Chip was more than willing to help my friend jump my car to move parking spots! He is the nicest guy and even put the license plates on my car when they arrived. It is the small things that mean the most to my family and Chip does feel like a family member based on the way he treats others. Chip was able to answer all of my moms questions and decide what the best car was for my needs.Thank you for all that you do at Billion!

A/C wasnt working on my 2019 Ridgeline, made an appt online, asked for them to inspect the A/C, which they did happily rather than insisting that I pay for A/C service first unlike Randy Kuehl Honda. Within fifteen minutes they told me it was a service bulletin and would be covered under warranty. Thanks Billion! Took my Honda Cr-v in for a recall to get the driver side airbag inflator replaced. After picking up the vehicle I noticed when accelerating on the highway there was considerable noise from the engine, I turned around and took it back to Billion and explained that it was not making this noise when I dropped it off. After one of the service managers and one of the technicians looked at the vehicle they determined the noise was from adding more pressure to the slightly cupped tires, because according to them they only detached two bolts to replace the airbag inflator so it couldnt be something they did. My lunch hour was getting close to being over so I decided to accept their assessment and head back to work. After arriving back to work I decided to pop the hood just on the off chance that I could see if there was anything unusual, sure enough the technician who worked on my car did a courtesy check of my air filter but forgot to re-attach my filter housing. I drove it back to Billion to have a technician re-attach my air filter housing wasting 1/2 hour of vacation time for a problem that should have been an easy fix for any other place of service.

Rare amazing car buying experience!! The GM Tyler Walker was instrumental and provided excellent customer service. Initially, we talked to a sales rep and was told there wouldn’t be much negotiating for a 2019 Kia Sorento that was traded in. Mind you, I have been waiting for this particular model and color combination for quite a while and was searching all over the country for it. Tyler got on the phone with my boyfriend and made it happen. We worked out a price that was fair and I could get financed with my own bank. We handled our shipping but they could have easily done that as well. It was amazingly positive and with his finance guy Tom, amazingly simple as well. I would love to buy another car from them and we are in Georgia. Thank you Tyler and Tom. You are some great guys and good at what you do!!!

Kenny went above and beyond to find me a great SUV. Billion has such a great selection of new and used cars that if you cant find one youre not ready. We have a new Honda Accord and it was giving us a low tire morning. We are from out of town so we found the nearest Honda dealership. They were very kind they took the car right in checked all four tires reset the computer sensor and they found a door seal that was coming loose and they fix that too. No charge have a nice day thanks for stopping in. Thats what I call good service thank you Billion Auto.

I highly recommend this place. A bit more expensive than some others, but you really get what you pay for. I didn’t at all feel cheated or scammed, and they fixed extra parts of my car they didn’t even charge me for (radio, fob). Hefty bill for a big operation but well worth it, and I’d do it all over again. Excellent service too. Called and asked me for what I wanted among their recommended repairs before they did them. Overall very satisfied.

Bryan did a good job of allowing us to take our time to find the vehicle that best fit our needs. He provided valuable information of differences in different Honda models and other models they have at the dealership. There rate we received was lower than what we found elsewhere. And the vehicle price was in is the range for what Kelly Blue Book had listed for the vehicle. The approval for financing took a while but over all I was pleased with my experience.

My experience with billion wasnt one that felt as if the sales person was just trying to make some commission. I was pleased to be listened to, and bargained with until I was happy. I was asked what deal we could make to take the car home today? I like that they worked with me in meeting my needs, Brad was pleasant, knowledgeable, and humorous. What he did not know, he went to find out from someone else. He was straight to the point, and did not mislead me into something that was definitely happening. He kept in contact and kept me updated. He made sure I loved everything about my car, before I made the final decision. This should be the motivation in every sales person! Making the customer happy! Making a sale is just another bonus to the company. Brad helped make it happen, and assisted me in the obstacles that came up. I was glad I made the choice in buying through him!

I went in for an oil change. I had my 16 month old daughter with me and was happy to see a kids area for her to play while we waited. It was also raining hard the day we came in, and the employees pulled my car under the garage after it was done so we could get out to the car without getting soaked. Everything with the sale went as one could imagine with the sales consultant going back and forth between you and the managers always trying to get you the best deal. What I didnt appreciate was1) I contacted the dealership about a specific car I found on their website. This was Saturday afternoon, they said the car was at their location, and so we set up a showing for Monday afternoon. When I get there, the car isnt there and they play it off like they knew nothing about it and kept trying to show me other cars. They should have contacted me that the car wasnt there anymore. I was very angry about this.2) I understand that commision and sale numbers are important in this business. But when Ive expressed 10 times that I dont want an add on package, I dont want it. It got to the point that I felt I couldnt continue with my car buying unless I agreed to a totally optional add-on. Customers shouldnt feel uncomfortable like this.3) if youre going to sell cars at least have the courtesy to check the simple things like fluid levels. 3 days after drying away my car indicated that my wiper fluids were low.

We contacted Billion Honda from out of state as we were in the market for a Pilot. We worked with Cory Findlay, who was very helpful and quick to respond to all our questions. When we came to an agreement on a purchase price and on financing both Cory and Tom in the financing department were amazing in getting everything squared away. I bought my car here a month prior to this and loved the service I got. Stopped in to get an oil change. I called ahead and asked how late they were open for oil changes because I knew I would be cutting it close. Was told on the phone that they were open until 5:30 for oil changes got there at 5:10 and the guy at the service department said that all the mechanics go home at 5. I explained the information I had and mentioned that they might want to make sure everyone knows that even though the service department is open until 5:30 that they send the mechanics home at 5. I went back out to my car parked in the service area to look up the nearest quick lube place because I needed an oil change and if I drove home I would be over my miles. While sitting in my car the man at the service desk came out and asked if I would still like an oil change and that one of their mechanics was still there. I thanked them profusely before and after my oil change. I paid and left, grateful for their service.

I bought a used Honda car from Honda Billion. This is my first car and basically I know nothing about cars. They told me they have changed the oil and put NEW tires on the car. I trusted them, but yesterday (10 days after buying the car), my friend saw my car and said the tires are old specifically the rear ones. I went to the dealer and said you told me you put new tires on the car and they said no we didnt say that. They said we only change tires when they need to be changed and I said well even in that case the rear tires need to be changed and they didnt accept it. The manager (Tyler Walker) yelled at me and was very disrespectful and told me they will buy the car from me. I went to TIRES PLUS service to check my cars tires. They told me the rear tires are not only worn out but they are old (2013) too. They said it is recommended to change the tires every 5 years. I went back to the dealer, the manager (Tyler Walker) again talked to me very badly and said the ONLY option I have is to sell them the car. So please make sure whatever promise they make you is written and signed by them.

We also get our cars serviced through this dealership.We made an appt for our vehicle as our car breaks we’re making lots of noise. It turns out that we needed all new brakes -$644. Never were we warned that the brakes were looking worn.Also, when picking up the car - they did not even put our car through the car wash. It seemed like they just took our money and ran - not wishing for future loyalty.We were just very disappointed. We felt like a number going through their service department.
