Phase garage is beyond wonderful. Two mechanics just stayed late to fix my car so I could have it to drive to work in the morning. I had told them it would be fine if I had to find another way to work, but they worked late anyway. They communicate every step of the way, and explain every expense. They even came to pick up our cars, jumping mine, and putting oil in my partners so they could be driven to the shop. I would never go anywhere else in Iowa City.

We took our car here while visiting our daughter in Iowa City. We knew the car needed work. This team was wonderful and very trustworthy. The repairs were done quickly and the car ran great after. Reasonable prices and top-notch customer service. I highly recommend Phase. The owners are terrific too.

Had my brakes serviced here. I had multiple issues going on and they walked me through every decision and were upfront with how much it would cost. By far the best experience I’ve ever had at a mechanic shop. They were super reasonable in price, and able to finish the job in only a few hours with a new caliper they had picked up that morning for me short notice. Even with added issues that arose during the fix they stayed true to their quoted labor cost. Strongly recommend doing business here, I will be back for all future car needs. Note* I had an issue with a non related part to the fix and the mechanic rode with me to be able to hear the noise and fixed it for free after my appointment. A+ service unlike what I have experienced at the dealer next door or any mechanic for that matter.

Coming from a guy that does most of my repairs on my vehicles myself. So I was skeptical about letting someone else work on my car i broke down and let these guys take care of my nightmare. I can honestly say that it was the best decision I made these guys went above and beyond in what they were supposed to do even stayed an hour and a half past closing on a Friday just to finish the job. Best part of all of this is it didnt cost me my arms and legs very reasonable prices and great bunch of guys that take pride in what they do and very courteous. When my engine light began to blink rapidly, I thought I might explode, so I had to quickly find a mechanic. At first, i thought midas might be place. As they say, trust the midas touch. But their touch was wildly inappropriate. They quoted me 100 dollars simply for the diagnosis. Autozone gave us a free diagnosis and informed us that a spark plug needed to be replaced. Next, the nissan dealership was tried, but turns out they tried to rip us a new one, but not before they rip us off with a best-case scenario 180 dollars for installation and a wait time that bent me over and showed me the door.But all of that changed when I walked into phase garage. They told us that the problem could be fixed for 60 dollars. While waiting, we smashed on their couch and they walked by and congratulated us. And let me tell you, when we smashed, we did so in an ultimate fashion.All said and done, they were true to their word and we were on our way within the hour. Outstanding job, phase garage!

I bought my first car in Phase. They give me a great deal also offered me one year warranty. Their decent service made me feel really comfortable.

TERRIBLE at communicating and VERY unprofessional. Told me they had my windshield ready so I could go get it installed. left my truck there and called letting them know just so they could tell me that they hadn’t ordered it. Lied about trying to contact me when I didn’t even get a call. Would totally not recommend!!!

Just replaced my seized up brake caliper this morning, including a brake system flush. The mechanic, Colin here is impressive!!! He did the job in 2 hours which is incredible for a Mini Cooper. He knows how to work on all kind cars, I’m not kidding, this is true. Best car guy in town.

I took my vehicle in for service awhile back, because I was having issues starting it. I went in thinking it was the starter, he guessed the battery, but we were both wrong and it ended up being something entirely different. The guy was open, honest and didnt take me for a ride, when he actually couldve. Its been 2 months since and it still works perfectly. 10/10 would recommend.

I sent GTR R32 to phase garage to do the oil change and battery change. The employees there are very patient and friendly. Most important is the mechanist knows GTR very well.
