He even took the vehicle to an independent shop that I chose for a look-to-buy inspection. If you want to call or use the website, it is easy to navigate what you need. The team is always there to answer any questions, provide a clean waiting area, transit services if needed, and included services that far exceeded my expectations. On top of an oil change, you will receive full treatment (battery test, tire rotation, suspension inspection, belt inspection, brake inspection, system tests, etc.) The prices are reasonable and the technicians I trust.

I could not be more pleased or impressed with this dealership! Patrick Gollhofer was very prompt in answering my inquiry and subsequent questions concerning the used 2015 Chevy Express 3500 12-passenger van I was interested in. We made an appointment for a test drive on the same day. Patrick had the van completely prepped and ready for us when we arrived. I had done my research before arriving, so I knew the price was fair, I knew the service history on it and that the van had never been in an accident. But Patrick also had that information ready and went over it with me. Along with a complete once over and detailing, Deery had put four brand new tires on the van as well as new brakes. To my surprise, Patrick also went over the 6-month warranty with me. I had never heard of more than a 30-day warranty on a used vehicle. We walked in the door shortly after 4:00 p.m. and were on the road with the van before 5:30! Granted that we did not have a trade and we paid cash, but it was still a very quick and smooth transaction with no pressure! I can honestly say that Patrick, and Deery, seem to care about their customers.

Fastest purchase of a vehicle I ever made! Saw it online, reached out to Curtis. Went and took a look and they delivered it to me the next day, fully cleaned and full tank of gas. Free oil change when its needed too. Very satisfied with both Curtis and Tyler at Deery.

Spent all day looking for a car for my daughter. Went to every dealer in town. When I went into this dealership the first thing I said was I did not want to blow the bank and they actually showed me every vehicle in my range starting with the cheapest FIRST! That was a shock. I bought a 2020 Ford Explorer from an out of state dealer. 3 weeks after buying it my dash lights up throwing a check engine light, and engine coolant temp high and it threw the car into limp mode. So I had no choice but to have it towed to Deery Brothers Ford in Iowa city. (I live 2 hours from there) After diagnosing the problem, David in the service department told me I won’t have it back til mid February because a part was on back order and they wouldn’t give me a loaner unless I paid for it. (Ford should do better than that! It’s a 2020 with very low miles!!) So I called the dealer that sold it to me originally and they tracked down the part and next day shipped it to the dealer so I could get my car back ASAP. I called David on Monday and he told me they would get it in Tuesday morning for me and have it done Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. “Shockingly” I didn’t hear from him, so I called him Wednesday morning just to hear that it would now be MAYBE end of the week before they START working on it and then to top it off, he didn’t schedule it to get in with me. All he said was “it’s better than mid February isn’t it?” What kind of customer service is that? Nothing but lies from David in the service department! I would NOT recommend this Ford dealership for service and would hope that other Ford dealers take better care of customers. Regardless of where you bought the car from. Still unaware of when I will get my car back.

Edited Review: After 2 weeks of having a new vehicle we were told we were approved for, we were called back to be informed we actually didn’t get approved and the new loan has a much higher interest/monthly rate well above our budget. When given the car, we were told we would have to come back to sign paperwork - but only because their computers were “glitching” and not because we were pending approval. Unfortunately; this place ran my credit 13 times so now a different lender won’t even look at me because of too many inquiries in the past month. Extremely disappointed as I have been working on my credit so hard and haven’t had any inquiries in the past 3 years except for now. The financing guy barely apologized and did not take blame for the bait and switch of telling us we were approved. I’m very disappointed as we initially went with Ford based on customer service and now we’re placed in a predicament that we’re dealing with poor customer service and in a worst off condition than when we initially stepped foot in this place.Original Review:Worked with Wilson to purchase a car! Being a self-employed 68 years old with no employees, I like to think that customer service was my greatest achievement, along with providing good quality products. I was traveling from Billings, Mt to Indianapolis on the 20th of April when I experienced some issues with my Ford Explorer. Stopped at an O’Reilly Auto parts store to find out a throttle body needed to be replaced. I was able to get my vehicle to Derry Ford that afternoon, 3 pm or later & the service dept looked & found the part in stock. The wonderful guy who helped me ( I am shameful I don’t recall his name ) asked me when I would like to make an appointment. I said whenever they can work me in is fine & I also said I was on the road to Indy to see my daughter. He thought for an instant & said - pull you car to the door & we will get you fixed now - like I said before, I always hoped I provided great customer service as I felt that is the best thing I have to offer, but Derry Ford took customer service to a level I know nothing about, I am so thankful to have literally stumbled into their dealership,I was back on the road within a hour. Not one to write a review but I feel obligated to after this experience. When I first arrived on the lot, I was able to freely look at the inventory without having a salesman breathing down my neck. The no pressure, let us know if you have any questions style of Deery is respectable. I had gone in with a pretty good idea of what I wanted. I walked in and was greeted by Wilson, who did an incredible job of answering questions I had and not trying to detour me to more expensive car. There was no hidden fees. (Just your standard TTL). There was no games. They were able to negotiate on the listing price and were willing to work out most issues I had. Overall this was the most positive dealership experience Ive had and when its time to upgrade, Ill be back again. And remember, ABB (Anything but Billion)

My service experience here thus far has been stellar. I own a 2015 mustang GT and the service team has taken great care of my car. Hats off to their technician Adam, service consultant Mike and service director Jared. Ive had ford performance parts (power pack 2 and some other parts) installed here (which other dealers say they wont even touch) and the work was done expertly and at a reasonable price. In summary, the service team is capable, trustworthy and very reasonable.

Was in for 25K service and everything was done right and even faster than promised. I was able to WAIT on my Fusion Titanium Hybrid, get the service done and report to work only just about 1 hour later than usual! This is my first vehicle purchase at Deery Brothers, but so far everything has been great.Update: At my previous service appointment, it was pointed out that I had two rear tires that should probably be replaced in the near future. Finally made an appointment last week and the work was completed in about an hour, at a very reasonable price!

We had an excellent experience purchasing a used vehicle. After having the truck for a day the check engine light came on. The issues were found and corrected. Jake and others made it right with us for the cost of the repairs. They really want you to have a great experience purchasing a vehicle and they care even after the sale.

When my car broke down I looked everywhere for a replacement that was both reliable and affordable. Every place I looked they could give me one or the other, until I placed a call into Al Baker. I was able to schedule my appt. on line quick and easy. I arrived and was assisted right away. I had a few issues with my car and they were addressed quick and easy. After my oil change and cabin filter replaced they washed my car and I was on my way. I received a quick follow up call to check if I was satisfied with my service. I did return again for new tires. They were very helpful in picking the right tire for me.

But I was surprised at how friendly Curtis, Steven, & Gary were and they gave me great customer service. As a first time car buyer at the age of 23, Curtis knew exactly how I was feeling and was able to find a vehicle that was perfect for me and met all my criteria. He was polite and sincere, but also had an entertaining side to him that helped ease my worries and made my experience more fun. Steven was very helpful in showing me some of the features of my new crossover, and Gary assisted in the financial portion of my experience in a professional way. They never put pressure on me to make a decision nor did they make me feel uncomfortable at any moment. For my brand new 2013 Ford Escape, I was quite pleased with the price I was offered after I traded in my old car. Their quality of work was outstanding and my overall experience was great! I would definitely recommend Curtis, Steven & Gary along with the rest of the dealership to friends/family.

We took our 2015 Ford Fusion in for a service call. Upon arriving we pulled up to the service door to actually leave it so they could pull it in, but they opened the door to allow us to pull in. It was raining pretty hard at the time. We thought that was a wonderful gesture on their part to save us from walking in the rain to the door. They serviced our car, gave it a wash job, and dried it off before we were to take it out. They also left it by the service garage door inside because it was raining again. Very thoughtful and appreciative. Everyone was very helpful, courteous and thoughtful. Comfy waiting area and answered our questions about an F-350 also.

This was the best experience I have ever had buying a vehicle. Curtis was my go to man while trying to find a vehicle. This guy really put his self in my shoes and helped me find a vehicle that was right for me. Never pressured me to buy anything just to buy. These guys here at deery ford really care about putting you in the right vehicle. Let alone the great deals they offer. I will not shop at any other dealer from here on out. I would not recommend using this facility. I realize that its a college city in Iowa and they are quite comfortable with taking advantage of college students. I would not purchase any thing from them. You would be better off towing, to a different Ford dealership.

I took my Ford Escape in for 15,000 mile maintenance. They did a great job. I also had them detail the exterior and it was awesome! It was perfectly shiny, wheels, tires, all of it...for a very reasonable price! I recommend Deery Bros Ford for both buying a car and maintaining my new car!

I brought in my car with an apparent dead battery. While I was told that they would probably not be able to look at my car until the following day, they were able to test it and replace my battery in very short order on the same day. Nick in service has been a great help the few times that I have brought my car in for service. I have always been impressed with the service and value i receive here.

Friendly staff, fast service, reasonable prices. Free donuts, coffee and bottled water while you wait in front of the big screen tv. I could go someplace closer, but I choose Deery for the convenience of online scheduling and the fast, friendly service.

I will start off on a positive note by saying that the staff made it quick and easy to get approved and all of the paper work signed for my recent purchase on 7/30. However that is pretty much where the positives of my experience end. I realize that I bought a used car and the implications of that. However I am thoroughly disappointed with how this dealership has misled me on this purchase. I was made aware of a fuel sensor issue and this dealership did a great job to rectify that. I am not upset with that issue. I am however extremely upset that I purchased a car with so many issues that I could not have known about from a 2 mile test drive and the dealership neglected to inform me of, whether on purpose or not.For starters, upon my 5 hour home-return trip in my new Chevy Trailblazer SS, I noticed the engine was running a little hot so i pulled off to a parts store. The coolant reservoir was COMPLETELY EMPTY. My salesman said that the service technicians didnt notice any other issues except the fuel sensor. Well the service department clearly did nothing to this vehicle from when it was traded in by the previous owner to when i purchased it. Not only was the coolant completely bone dry, but prior to my test drive I implored about a sound the car was making and the salesman said it was the rear air suspension. It is normal for the air suspension to make a sound upon engine start up while it is checking the levels of the air pressure in the air bags, however it is not normal for the air suspension to COMPLETELY deflate within 4 hours of the car running. If I leave my vehicle sitting for more than 4 hours, the top of the rear wheel would literally be half an inch from the wheel well. i have paid SEVERAL hundred dollars to have this issue repaired at my hometown Ford Dealership. There is NO WAY someone in this Iowa City Ford dealership did not notice this issue. My salesman may not have known, but someone did have knowledge of this and it was not passed along to me. On top of these issues the engine was either running on old oil, or is burning oil. The engine made quite a smell from this. Clearly this dealership did not find it a worthwhile investment to check the quality of the oil in my vehicle. I changed the oil myself and it was literally jet black and smelled something awful. I am thoroughly displeased with my buying experience and the multitude of issues with my newly purchased vehicle. I have always found Ford to be a great and reputable company, with great dealerships to purchase cars from.. My family not only has worked for Ford for several years in the past, but we have purchased several vehicles from local area Ford dealers. This is by far the worst purchase I have made in a vehicle. On top of all of this, it took two weeks to receive the paperwork to title and register my vehicle.When buying the vehicle I specifically asked for a 30 day temporary license and was told it wasnt possible, instead I was given a 15 day tag. Upon calling them to see when my paperwork would arrive to me, the woman said shell overnight it THAT DAY. Meaning they had not sent it to me at all after 14 days, and likely wouldnt sent it to me if I hadnt stayed on top of the issue. Not only this, but upon receiving my paperwork it had suddenly become possible for them to give me a 30 day temp tag, meaning they lied to me.I also find it somewhat suspicious that they made me sign an as is form indicating the vehicle is sold as is with no returns. i have never had to sign one of these forms when buying any used car, nor has anyone I have asked. In hindsight i should have walked out the door right then. Any one of these issues are completely unacceptable in terms of Fords standards(or so I thought). I am thoroughly displeased with my purchase and advice anyone thinking about buying a car here to stay away.

The service department is always happy to see me even when it seems I keep coming back with the same questions. They are patient and understanding. They explain everything to me when I ask. And are patient with my confusing questions. I am a little slow on the understanding side so to have a service department help me and not make me feel stupid is a breath of fresh air.I really appreciate all that they do.Keep up the good work guys

We worked with Jacob and Gary they made the whole process painless. After we left the lot we started having a issue with the door latch. They were able to get the issue fixed quickly.

I am still looking at purchasing or leasing a new F-150 and Jake has been nothing but helpful, knowledgeable and fair. I should say patient also. When I do act, it will be with Deery Brothers.I was also looking for a main relay for my Mazda pickup which is essentially a Ford pickup in 1993. Absolutely no one had that part, their computers showed a different part at $200 that would not fit. My truck was totaled by that. I eventually took the part to Deery Brothers and we realized that Ford had the wrong part compared to the schematic. Deery Brothers could have ordered the part Im sure, but they found one at NAPA and sent me there who had the only part around and it was 6 bucks. Took it home and installed it and the truck is running again. I was afraid I had fried the electrical system and I was overjoyed to get it running instead of junking it. That is not only outstanding service, that is above and beyond helpful, truthful and fair. Kudos to you all.

Our sales guy wasnt my jam, but we didnt spend a lot of time with him since we found the car online. But the service department is top notch. Always super helpful and very nice. Their shuttle service is super handy too
