Went in there a little after 8:30 p.m. about less than a half hour till closing and they already had the registers taken out and you couldnt spend any cash the store stinks and the customer service sucks.

Super friendly. My battery was completely dead. They put it on the charger and it took a charge so I didnt end up needing a new battery. Free of charge. Got some fuses I needed. Highly recommend.

Fairly large store, on the way home. Pretty clean store with easy used oil dump. They usually have pretty good specials. Pretty high staff turnover that sometimes is obviously training and knows nothing about Auto parts. It is kind of Hit and Miss, sometimes they have what I need but oftentimes dont. Website is useless!

Female manager inside the store with no mask on.should get fired. I went back for a faulty battery she gave me a 4 amp motorcycle battery.120cca. my motorcycle calls for a 12 amp battery of at least 220 cca.she got upset .she threw battery on the counter. Really unproffesional. the other employees all got a mask on.what am i gonna do with a little 120cca 4 amp battery. I paid 100 for this battery. Walmart has a 12 amp battery for 45 dollars

I expect better service at Walmart than I do here. Employees sit around and talk and make you feel bad for interrupting. They act about as unprofessional as can be. I drive 20 minutes more to another store and am happy to do it to avoid this place

This store has almost always had the part/s I needed on hand and the staff are very helpful. Generally someone that is working there has run into a similar situation and has some useful insight on vehicle issues. Also, there return policy and warranties are easy to work with.

Washington, IA AutoZone service Sucked. First guy answered my call, and took about half of my information. Next thing I know was the phone went silent, and would beep every few seconds. Didnt ask, or tell me he was putting me on hold. Not knowing that I was on hold, I hung u, and called back. This time a female answered, and put me on hold almost immediately. I was on the road, driving, and trying to locate parts. They left me on hold for over a half an hour, and when the store closed, they turned off the phone, and dropped my call. By this time I was over half way to Iowa City, past 4 routes I could have taken to reach the Washington, store. I called the Iowa City store, and insured they had what I was after. I got what I needed, and asked if there was like a district manager for the Washington area. They apologized for Washingtons actions, and gave me the district reps number. I called him, and left a voicemail for him as well. Over two weeks have passed now, and no call back from the district rep either. Very dissatisfied with their actions, and service. AutoZone will be my last resort from now on.

They need to pay more than what theyre paying and get good help in that store. Front strut went bad in 1,000 miles now I have to Shell out another $90 for a front end alignment that I just had done when I put on one of their ready struts. Thats not the only thing the woman that helped me didnt seem to understand what was going on. And she was spending more time singing The OReilly song that was just on the radio. Pretty funny she was spending more time singing the competitors song than trying to help take care of the problem I had!

Great customer service, will check your engine light. And also they have affordable prices for parts, and will put them in, for you in some cases. Or you can buy parts and put them in yourself. Like a light for an example. Also good prices on Maintenance products for fluids and tires.

I went there on three occasions and each time I had different staff assisting me. They were all very knowledgeable and super helpful. They ran their diagnostic tool for free. My car dealer would have charged me. If I ever have car trouble and questions I will return. I felt well taken care of.

Kind of a sketchy place but overall OKAY!When I first walked in (with a HEAVY BATTERY in my hand) no one greeted me or even acknowledged meIt took over 15 minutes standing at the counter before anyone was able to help me.I didnt trust the guys knowledge, he only made things worse and cost extra 35 minutes there

Have to agree with other reviews. Normally I have good experiences with AutoZone, but this one is managed very poorly. It takes 10 minutes for anyone to even come to the counter, and when they finally do they have no idea what you are talking about. There is an OReilly right up the street with a helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Stopped by tonight to get a new battery and the staff apparently couldn’t be bothered to help me, instead they just sat around lazily talking amongst themselves and not even acknowledging me so after a couple of minutes just standing there, I promtly left and got my battery from Advance Auto Parts across from Waterfront Hy-Vee instead who had no problems installing it in negative temps, maybe that’s why I couldn’t get any help from this location because they couldn’t be bothered to change a battery in the cold. Anyways their loss, Advance Auto Parts gain! If I could rate this place a negative zero I would.

I needed to replace the battery in my 2012 Chevy Equinox. On this type of vehicle its difficult to get access to the battery. I called AutoZone before going there (I live 25-30 minutes away) to see if they had the type of battery I needed and ask if they would be able to replace it for me since I knew some places wont because of how difficult it is. I get to AutoZone and asked them to test my battery to confirm it was bad. They stated maam I have good news and bad news the battery is bad but I will not be able to replace the battery. I asked why and hes told me because of how difficult it is to get to the battery. I informed him I called before I went there to make sure they would be able to change my battery because of how difficult it is to get access to. Due to them telling me false information I was unable to replace my battery because they wasted my time and the other places were closing soon. Im very dissatisfied/ disappointed with AutoZone. If youre going to work in automotive parts/service store know your information for your customers.
