Better than a bunch of Walmart joints out there. Clean, typically friendly employees. No real complaints, other than the complete and total lack of mask enforcement once folks are beyond the front doors, which I know, especially in this part of the state, is a huge positive thing for a lot of folks.

We like to shop at Walmart do to good prices and deals! Just wish they had more customer service - cashiers tord the end of the week and weekends specially at night! Other then that great place to shop.

Nice store to get some groceries or some miscellaneous items, better electronic selection than most meijers. Only flaw is the staff, and working there as a whole. I do not recommend it to anyone who has any self-worth or dignity, as management will quickly attempt to destroy either one.

Was just at this location. 25+ plus minutes, down the aisles 6 times to find someone to page, called customer service twice for help (once it rang 38 times & no answer) 4 pages & finally got someone to help mix paint. (I kept telling everyone if no one was available just tell me. I didnt mind not getting help as much as I mind a run around.) First word out of his mouth *Im not good at this, Ill try*. No thank you, I told him as I didnt want to get home with the wrong paint. If he dont know how to mix paint, then why send that employee? His boss must have showed. Heard him say *I tried*. No, he didnt try. He made it clear he didnt know what he was doing. Ill pay twice as much some place else for the 15 gallons of exterior, 2 gallons exterior trim & 2 gallons deck of mypaint. Waste time Ill never get back.

Its another normal walmart. Not enough cashiers, under staffed in the back of the store also. But really pretty bias since I used to work there and know all the problems.

I called ahead of time for a mini fridge and to see if they would help load it. Was told yes. Then i was told by three people no. A kind customer helped me load it. Very poor customer service. Vision center was awesome though

I have set foot in this store once. Friendly enough staff, and staffed enough to easily find assistance while I was inside. I shop from here frequently, however, and have been using their curbside pickup. Works great. Never wait more than a few minutes before being serviced. Always successfully get all of my ordered groceries. Have already recommended this service to multiple coworkers and friends.

I shop here all the time. You can find good deals. However, they are not stocked very well. They are out of a lot of stuff all the time.

Very helpful associates in electronics, who helped me find the replacements plugs for my phone and iPad (which I must have left.in the hotel in Auburn, IN). Walmart is my usual shopping store in TN, for lack of others big stores in our little town. I never have a problem they cannot help me with, and almost always have items I am looking to buy.

Its Walmart, however sales associates were cheerful.

No cases of water. But the Walmart employee was very nice to go and look in back for us.

Staff never seems to be very helpful went in the other day and asked 5 different employees where different things were and not one of them could tell me. I could understand if they told me they were new but not one of them did. Only 1 person ended up being able to help us the whole time and she helped me find something that wasnt even in the department she was working. Its begun to feel like a roll of the dice with this place lately.

This walmart seems to be out of stock alot but my biggest complaint is the fact that we show up and it is raining so we run up to the doors on the home goods side and they are locked. There is no signs out front saying they close these doors at 7pm and it is raining out so now I have to run across the entire front of the store to go in the other door. Is there a good reason to close and entrance 4 hours before closing when it is still light out an hour after many people get out of work. I think from now on I will be spending more money and go to Meijer down the street.

An ok store to shop at, Some of the staff are very nice and very help full, but some are extremely rude and act like they are better then you and they also act like you are bothering them wen you ask for help. So pretty much like any walmart out there.

Never buy an online gift card from Walmart they are useless you can not redeem them at all

Ridiculous experience buying beer here. Extremely rude employee gave me dirty looks and tried to tell me that my girlfriend was my sister, demanded to see HER ID because she put the beer in the cart. The employee then proceeded to scan my girlfriends ID and refused to scan mine. Since my girlfriend is underage, she refused to sell me the beer. Most absurd experience Ive ever had at any shopping center. I left everything there and went next door to Meijer, which is clearly a superior store that puts customers first. I am a LEGAL alcohol consumer that was denied my rights because Walmart cant hire competent employees. Hey Walmart, how about hire people with positive attitudes that actually care about customer service. Never shopping at Walmart again. Lost a consumer.

Clean and organized. The layout is different than most but is easy once youve been through it a few times.

If they had more checkouts it would be a 4 star. Continue to be out of cheaper product and of course have more of more expensive.

Seems like they are always out of items on the shelf. Buy it once and then they will be out of it for two months and then they might get a couple on the shelf then gone again for few months.

This store has blocked isles with merchandise the pharmacy is set up so badly that you have to stand in the vitamins isle to get you script the store is messy and unkempt and there are never enough cashiers plus after you have shopped you have to go to the middle of the store to check out and there seems to always be 4 people with loaded baskets in front of you. I have changed my scripts to so I dont have to put up with them anymore and I do a lot more shopping at Meijers which always looks clean and organized

I went to have my eye exam and I expected a long wait. From the time i was scheduled to take it i choose the best time for me and what was available. Went great. I went this past wednesday and by Friday I had my glasses. Amazing service, amazing people. I very much thank them for there service taking care of my needs.

Terrible Ionia Walmart see $68.00 charge on my receipt for nothing. Money was refunded but have to wait up to 5 days for it. No apologies. As usual no one knows why I was charged $68.00 extra. People better start looking at their receipt. Done shopping at this disgusting Walmart

Store is not clean. Organization can be poor at times and waiting lines are long with few cashiers. They do offer cheap off brand products and can accommodate a wide variety of projects.

This store in Ionia was clean,well lit and wide isles...thank you to the employees

Handicap. Cart always dies in the middle of shopping they nicely bring you another one then that one dies. The workers are awesome just get new carts

Though most of the staff is friendly, there are a few who are quite rude and very unprofessional. The store has the basics, but are often out of a lot of items.

Store is HORRIBLE. Doesnt make people wear masks routinely. Advertises layaway for jewelry but doesnt honor their own advertisement in the store. Some staff, whole others are incredibly ride, including some managers.

They have only 2 or 3 lanes open even when theyre quite busy., they try to herd people to the u-scans, but those tend to take longer, and also make you an unpaid Walmart employee. The actual employees here are GREAT.

I normally do my shopping down the street, but since the other store was out of an item I needed, I went to Walmart. The one in Ionia. On a Saturday, which I normally try to avoid but this week was extremely busy so I didnt make it during the week. So I run in quick for said items and I thought it would only take a minute. WRONG!! All the self check outs were filled, with red lights blinking and one person trying to help everyone. So I went to a lane. I only had to choose between three of them on this busy Saturday. So I got in a line. Of course I picked the slowest cashiers lane. So I decided to change lanes. So I moved over a couple lanes. Wrong one again. SLOW!! So I just decided to wait, and wait and wait. Three people ahead of me and the cashier had absolutely no sense of urgency. None. Zip, zero, zilch. I didnt see a single cashier out of the three that looked up a single time. If any any of them went any slower, they would have been in reverse. Easy there, Speedy. We dont want you to hurt yourself. The only reason I give one star is because I cant give a half of star.

You can usually find most of what you need and the store is clean enough. I went with 4 stars instead of 5 because they dont have things I can find by going to Lansing which is an equal distance for me. Also Lansing tends to feel a little bit cleaner.

Ordered a pick up at store. Store there a good 10 minutes before I was waited on. Item was as expected. Restrooms very dirty. Need to work on customer service

I hate the fact that on a Saturday afternoon there are only two lines open, no matter how many people are checking out.

The phone department is amazing they are always there too help you to get in a phone

They need to hire more help in the garage was there two and a half hours to get tires on and some other people gave up and left

I am very grateful that I can get in and out of this walmart in in a decent time . Other Walmarts are very Cluttered and no employees to be found, I give this walmart a full 5 amd thanks guys for all the hard work you do to keep up your store!

The store was clean and neat but understaffed. I waited for 15 minutes for assistance. There were only 2 lanes and one self checkout lanes open. I saw very few employees in the entire store while I was there.

Although I live 25 miles from the Ionia Walmart, I go there several times a month because their prices seem to be lower than other walmart stores closer. And the Ionia Walmart is very organized and clean. I know where to find everything because I have been there so many times and it sure is a lot easier to shop knowing that.

The ground beef in a 10 lb roll. Which costs over $20. I split the meat into 2 1/2 lb sections. Giving me 4 pkgs. I made meatloaf with carrots in it like a roast. I put the juices into the bowl with the carrots. This grease chunk is what solidified in the juices.So for A roll of meat 3/4 is meat. The other 1/4 is grease.That is disgusting.Then to top it off....they didnt have a Single head of lettuce..in the store that day.I also found when cooking hamburgers..same result. Grease. Nothing like boiling your hamburgers in greasePeople should never have to Accept this Awful Standard on meat. Or food
