I only have BMW certified mechanics work on the car.I sprung a coolant leak, and Bill took me in right away, although he was already very busy. His estimate was very well explained and reasonable. In conversation, his depth of knowledge is extremely evident. He went out of his way (on a Saturday) to make sure I got the car back in a timely fashion, and even helped me get a rental car. He gave several suggestions to help me keep the car reliable, and did a thorough inspection for any hidden issues.Even if I move away from the area, William Benoit will be the only shop I will bring my car to. I wish I could give him more stars. Will be recommending him to anyone who needs car work done.

I have a 72 Type 3 that just recently had the addition of a peculiar noise. I set up time with Bill to have a visual inspection and he is a wealth of knowledge. From his ability to diagnose, you know he has been spent decades perfecting his craft.

This man is a definitive genius of sorts, someone who not only knows a VW inside out and upside down, but can explain to you just about anything you could ever want to know about the car. No one cares about my Beetles mechanicals more than me - except by some lucky miracle, for William.

Will is not only a genius porsche mechannic, he is super ethical and a really nice guy to talk to. He has been able to fix my mechanical and electric issues fast and for a fraction of the cost. What I like most about Will is his commitment to quality. I always feel like the job was done right and my car was pampered. Ive taken my porsche to other 3rd parties in Los Angeles only to wind up with dings, paint chips, and low quality after market parts. But best of all, Will is a great person. Its not uncommon to see neighbors, friends, current and ex-clients stop by just to say hello. So many people cant be wrong. Wills experience in life and cars is invaluable.

Well you might think its crazy that Id review Williams establishment only after a phone call, but even after a short call - Im convinced hes someone who deserves your business.I initially called him to ask him for an estimate on my diesel BMW. He was very forthright to explain he doesnt work on diesels but provided other options of trusted people to contact. From there, he asked what the stealership had quoted me in their estimate. William took the time to then talk through some potential protections in the CA emissions law and gave some great next steps for that. He also advised me of other resources to look into as well as provided a list of questions to ask the dealer when I went back to pick up my car...all during what Im sure was a busy day for him.It wasnt customer service per-se because he KNEW I wouldnt be a customer, but still took the 15 minutes to make sure I got some good advice and didnt get swindled. Least I can do is this 5 minute review.When it comes to car repair where trust is paramount (and stakes are high - imports), this is DEFINITELY the type of person you want to be working with.
