No working lights were on in the parking lot. It didnt feel safe because of that.Asked for help locating an item the website said this location had. I never bought this item at this store before, so I was kinda of lost. It was around 8pm, wasnt busy and there were plenty of staff. I asked the clerk if I could get some help finding an item. She called a lady who said, if we dont have it on the shelf, we dont have it. Thinking that was kind of rude because I didnt ask if they had it but where they might keep it. So I checked again and found an empty box of the product.On my way to the counter there were 3 staff there chit chatting about American Eagle. The lady that I assumed was called to help me earlier, just walked off. I sat the box down and told them someone must have stolen the last one, then said thanks and left. Nobody said anything or did anything and seemed to actively avoid me.Ive worked customer service most of my life and know that it can be difficult and thankless but this was just plain bad service. It wasnt busy. Staff were chilling. They had time to talk about shopping.I just wanted some help finding something and didnt deserve to be treated that way. Please coach your staff on how to communicate with people instead of blowing them off and avoiding to help them in favor of socializing. I know they wouldnt be happy getting the service they gave me.

Malik, today, was so helpful and kind. Multiple people were stocking shelves and they passed me numerous times. He stopped when he saw me and helped me figure out the right flea collar for the size of my dog. I think, the others forget that customers are what pay their paychecks and might need a little training and guidance. I think, hed make a good manager or training manager with the ability to step up to help others! Give him a raise!! Dont forget to give this review to him for his files for future jobs.

Hard to say dont seem to get by the tool table in store (note tools are inexpensive but of good quality) actually they fall in my first 5 places to shop I believe their setup is farms and farmers and just maybe a few rancher such the name Tractor Supply but dont be fooled they have tools clothes work boots and shoes (buy my Bibs work and Winter boots ) TSC is also a place I fear showing my wife my receipt I guess instead of babbling on let me say need to go to hard ware try them first you maybe surprised

Good service. Customers needs to maintain social distancing. I had one hilljack (without a mask) seemingly trying to keep warm from the heat coming off of my back...I could be mistaken and it could have been that I smelled nice and he was overtaken by my manly musk. I put the cart between he and I so he wouldnt be over my shoulder when I put my pin number in the card machine.

Not helpful at all. I had to throw away several bags of mini pig food and bedding. Theyre infested in grain mites and the infestation is in my barn now!! The manager wouldnt do anything besides wipe the bags down. I told him theyre inside the bags! How is it helpful to only wipe the outside?? He wouldnt refund me because I threw away my bags already. How does it make sense to bring the mites inside of my car and bring them to the already infested store? Im upset and need refunded! And the store needs treated! I even showed him where they were and he pointed his finger on them and rubbed them off 🤦🏻‍♀️

I love all TSCs! Always friendly, helpful employees. This one is my least favorite. It would deserve 5 stars if the manager was not impolite and slacks off.

Just came out of the store and there was a horrible manager named Zipporah Goosby. I had the worst experience ever with that employee. Zipporah talked for an extremely long time as I was trying to shop for some salt to place in my driveway and did not practice social distancing. She also asked me what my children’s names were and tend to have a real big problem with their names, but I am like well who in the hell has a name like Zipporah? She also talked about how she is part of the Jehovahs witness and how her husband is a real fine ‘big chocolate man’. I certainly did not wish to hear any of that, and I will not go inside that supply store ever again and be harassed like that around the store. I did not enjoy shopping in the apparel section either, because of being so annoyed or distracted by her. Next time, I will visit the one in Plainfield.

I went to Tractor Supply on East Brookville Road in Indianapolis on December 14th, 2020 to buy some salt for a spreader in preparation for Wednesdays predicted snow. As I entered the store, I noticed the line, at the one cashiers station that was open, all the way to the back of the store. I waited 32 minutes in line to get up to the cashier. I heard the cashier ask for help at the registers three times over the speaker system, all of which went unanswered. When I finally arrived at the cashier, I asked for 4 bags of rock salt for a spreader. The cashier had absolutely no clue what I was asking for and could not help me without a SKU. It was impossible for me to give her a SKU number, because the rock salt was on pallets locked up behind a fence outside in the lumber area. Clueless cashier and horrible customer service with only one register open. I waster 45 minutes of my day and left frustrated. It wont happen again, they have lost me as a customer!

Its on my way home from work, so I used to frequent Tractor Supply in Indianapolis a few times a week for dog food, propane, random goods, etc. that I didnt want to wait in line at Lowes for. Then, my opinion of this place went downhill after some blond lady drove around the yard on a forklift while I waited for a propane refill for 15 minutes. I tried to get her attention several times, but she ignored me. I finally yelled that I had waited in line for 10 minutes to request a refill, and another 15 minutes in the yard waiting for a refill. She snapped back with Oh, dont give me that. You just got here 10 minutes ago.. Unreal and unacceptable, but I continued with a couple more tank refills over the next few weeks, only to realize that my refills werent lasting 2 or 3 months anymore, but one lasted a week and a half and the other lasted 2 weeks. Besides that, another employee wasnt going to fill my tank because he said it was outdated. I told him that I bought it at TS just last year, so he checked it again, grumbled something and filled it. Sort of. It lasted maybe a week. Im not a propane professional, but Im pretty sure they do fill the tank in order to charge you for it, but then they let half of it out afterwards. I have no proof, but filled tanks arent as heavy as they used to be and they only last 1 or 2 weeks instead of 2 or 3 months like they did last summer. Im sticking to gas station exchanges. More expensive than TS, but at least I dont get scolded by the trashy lady with the deep voice on the forklift or shorted a few pounds of propane by an attendant who looks like he stayed up all night playing video games. Lowes does just fine, so Im giving my business back to them. Tractor Supply can die and I wouldnt lose any sleep.

Always had good luck at this store with a variety of items. Its probably the cheapest and easiest place Ive found to have propane tanks refilled. Cat litter and bird food are the same quality as other places in town, but quite a bit cheaper here.

We came here to use the Pet Wash Station. I thought it would be the perfect spot to bring my dog since I’m pregnant and it would be easier access. I don’t know when was the last time they cleaned this area but I was disgusted. This is a nice service but management should be embarrassed by how this looks.

I go here every month for my chicken feed and supplies. The staff are so helpful and nice. I also take my dogs in with me & they also love it. Between the attention and the treats they get, Im not sure what theyd say is their favorite part. Back to my purchases; it is all well priced for the quantity and quality you get. I love this place. I could spend forever in there.

My experience was outstanding today! I was looking for metal wash tubs for my wedding reception, and Jacob was extremely patient and helpful. He willing pulled tubs down, brought a tub in from outdoors, and checked for more stock. Then he offered to carry the large tub to the register and then out to my vehicle, loading it for me. Fantastic customer service!!

Had to wait around for the customer service area person, that had been paged, one of the ladies that wasstocking apparel, & the other cashier, came back to get the poly box down from the high storage rack, while the boy at the cash register stood, & watched. Noticed after paying that the sticker UPC tag price was cheaper then online listed price, & the price that I had paid. Showed the cashier, she refunded the overage amount. Would have given 5 stars if I didnt have to wait over 20mins to get any assistance after being sent to the customer service area, that had no customer service person, & especially when there wasnt any other customers or ppl there, while I continued to wait! Ive never had a bad experience with TSC in over 20+ years, it saddens me to write a negative review, but I hope my post, that issues I experienced today, that no one else has to wait around, waisting time.

I like Tractor Supply. You will find boots/shoes, clothes, outerwear, even some underwear. They carry all you need to install or patch a fence, get your trailer going, change your oil, cut your trees, and so much more. They have a full line of cat and dog food, treats, and toys and if you go on the right day, you can have your dog vaccinated! They carry lots of veterinary supplies, horse care products including leather, and so much more than can be written here. To top it off, the staff if friendly and knowledgeable.

Always dependable, but the Rona hit their gardening stock(guess thats good,more folks gardening)

This is a great store on the East side of Indianapolis. They have house, garden, yard, farm, care, etc equipment and supplies. They have a great selection of pet and farm animal food. Check them out online and see what they have, it isnt just tractors! The staff are friendly, the place is kept neat and clean. Stop in and look around, I dare you to not find something you need/want.

Easily accessed from road (pending upon traffic), open parking area, & does not scrutinize ones shopping. However, if u do need help go immediately to the cashier as finding someone else to assist might take awhile. Products are visible, easily identified with a wide variety of choices. Prices are comparable to other places. Great place to purchase pet supplies.

Nice selection of standard size bolts. Not a very wide selection of metric, but then again not a whole lot of metric needed for farm equipment. I dont shop their best soft goods or animal supplies, but love the hardware side. I also get my welding gases from them. Its simple, easy, and theyre close.

Always loved this place. Never stopped being comfortable.

Brookville Rd. Employees can be a bit lazy. I was told a certain price for an item that wasnt marked and employee insisted he knew the price without looking at the item ( which was on display only about 20 feet from where he was SITTING) but couldnt see bcuz it was blocked by a big shelf. I tried pointing the item out to him but he wouldnt make eye contact and kept repeating the price of it. When I checked out the price he insisted it was, it WAS NOT AND in fact about 18.00 higher! It was disappointing I had to step out of line and wait to check out a 2nd time to get the correct item that he priced me. A big hassle!! He should have simply got off his a__ and actually looked at what I was describing. Poor poor customer service in my opinion. At this location, very seldom are prices correct, things are in the wrong place or they are just not marked at all. I noticed there were at least 7 or 8 employees present at the time and NOT alot of customers, so SOMEONE should be responsible for making sure things are priced correctly and in the correct spotThis seems to be a common problem at this store and on other occasions, its messy and items are not in the correct place where the price is marked, at least have them in the right place. Its frustrating trying to figure out prices and when I ask for a price check, getting told the wrong price and blowed off is even more frustrating. Maybe needs price scanners then I wouldnt have to bother the employees. I think its unacceptable when ur giving up ur money. No excuses just plain lazy. Its too much hassle coming into the store, look for help, ask for prices, and upon check out, price is incorrect and must step out of line and wait to check out again......makes me think, if I want to shop there at all. Ive been told incorrect prices before at this store

Helpful people..have things other dont carry

I love this store, they always seem to have what I am looking for everytime I visit and usually a little more. The only problem I ever have is that they do not have enough cash registers because there is almost always a huge line when I go to check out. Other than this minor issue the store is great, I highly recommend it for all of your farm needs. Also on a side note this location fills propane tanks for a reasonable price.

Online and by phone it was confirmed they had a part I needed for a piece of equipment. I even had a part number. It was not the right part. No one assisted me at the store. They seemed under staffed or no one wanted to be there. HOWEVER, the Cashier stood out. She was awesome! Very friendly too.

They were short-staffed the place was busy I was walking around for 20 minutes trying to find someone to open the power tools case so I could get some DeWalt products they actually gave me the wrong drill and I have to take it back tomorrow.

I have never had a problem with tractor supply. The people are always nice and very helpful. I go to get my dog food there and do to my health they are always helpful. They load it up in my jeep for me and tell me to have a nice day.

New to area, found prices much higher on pet food, unlike Rural King. Aisles are narrow and stuff everywhere hard to get around in the store. The checkout cashier was get friendly and personable. Probably will not go here again prices are better elsewhere.

Ordered online using the curbside pickup but waited 30 mins. after calling them that I had arrived, then had to go inside to request my order and have it brought out. Dont recommend using the curbside pickup option.

This my first time in this TSC. The cashier greeted me as I came. I came for 3 items, but could only find one. I saw several workers but each avoided my need for assistance. Thats okay, there are other stores who will be happy to have my business.

Some staff are great. I stopped in yesterday. Asked the cashier a question. It was as though I was disturbing her although she wasnt helping anyone & there was no one in line. She answered my question in a very rude, abrupt manner & turned back around. If she has customer service skills, she sure missed using them at that moment. And why is it that no matter what time of day you call or how many times you try to reach them, their phones are busy? When I could not reach them one day I decided to just go to the store directly. Just so happens I saw someone pick a phone up off the counter & hang it up. Makes me think they just take it off the hook when they dont want to be bothered. Again, not good!

Needed firewood and found a plentiful supply. Also had help loading. They have everything you need for home and animals. Great store

It was clinic day and I brought my fur baby. I got to meet a lot of fur babies. What a great place to have a low cost clinic on weekends!

Parking lot isnt clearly marked. Staff was sorta helpful. A lot of up selling which I do not appreciate. But they were for the most part knowledgeable of their stock.

The lady at the counter was very great she helped me with everything that I needed she greeted me. I had a very pleasant experience and I would recommend everybody to go there.

Good selection of heavy duty tools and supplies, but might have been a bit better with restocking inventory. Maybe just my luck, but things I needed muliples of, there was 1 left in the bin.

Huge selection of 12V switches. You need push button switches? They got em. Toggle switches? Yep, got them too. Sealed waterproof switches? Backlit switches? Rocker switches? Yep, yep, and yep. And while youre there to buy switches, you can also get some odd-sized drive belts, a cow feeder, and a pair of Western boots. It would dumb not to shop here. Friendly staff, too, by the way.

Sometimes you just need something you will not find anywhere else! I may not go there real often, but when I need them, always worth the drive.

Tractor Supplies are always my go-to for pet food. This one is just about like all the other ones. They have good service and their usual good selection for any Farm or pet food / equipment. Tractor Supplies always had what I needed in stock every time, thats rare these days!

I stopped to get a couple of things, I asked for puppy shots and then was going to get a few other things and the lady I asked was hateful and told me I can pick them up at the register. So I didnt go get the things I wanted for the 5 puppies going to their new homes. Guess Ill spend my money elsewhere!!!!

I went to the store looking for a plug wire they dont carry them in store for a husky. The next day I called about a starter. After setting on hold for 15 min the store clerk didnt want to give me a price unless I was in the store. I ask him too look it up he couldnt find anything, then after about 5 min on hold again they hung up on me. Will no use the store on Brookville Rd again.

I have traded with TSC seemingly forever in several states. Good quality merchandise, very competitive prices and always really friendly good customer service. I ordered some stuff on line for store delivery: the order was promptly shipped. Got three emails wrt the order: confirmation of the order, shipping notice and ready to be picked up notice. Easy peasy deal.

Staff has no knowledge of products. The older gentleman very rude he worked on Saturday and needs as little training on customer service and as well as there are many races of people in this world get used to it. A smile wouldnt hurt either, honestly it probably make you feel good. Walking around being miserable shows reflection on the company of you dont like your job then change it.

PetVet review:I was at a tractor supply today August 3. Called first to see if there was a huge line because we are about 40 mins away. We usually go to Franklin they usually have a huge line and you have to get there really early. There wasnt so no biggie we made it. Waited in line for 45/50 mins but I know thats to be expected.There was a German Shepherd before us about 50 to 60 pounds. And the Technician had him in a choke hold time deal which Ive seen them do before nothing un common. And he proceed to snap and bit and her and I could see the startle on her face and vet said let him go. She let him go. She puts a noose on him and he still has issues but the proceed. Its our turn. I asked if we could hold her why you ask... shell do better. They say no, they dont let anyone. Last time we took her my husband helped hold her. Ok. Whatever. They try and get her out of the carrier. She doesnt come out. So the Dr reaches to grab her, not gently but not crude either. She swats at them. I said calmly here let me get her out for you. Reached in and pulled her out with no issues, calm as can be. Sat her on the table. And sthey both proceed to shoved her down which she didnt like. The Dr said bring the carry we arent doing this of a cat is going to bite me. My husband was just starting at her with a dumbfounded look like you just did a 50 pound German Shepherd, I had to wake him up to get the carrier. They didnt try and soothe my cat, they didnt try anything. Just jumped to no, nope. Go on your way. Take her to a full service veterinarian. Your so called veterinarian was a Kendra Grimes. I tried to do a name search for her license so I could get more information... couldnt find anything. That should be public record. I know I know its up to them to decide who to service and not for their safety etc. What Id like you to think about and realize is right before my 9 pound cat and had a hussy fit. They had a 50/60 pound German Shepherd that snapped and bit at the Technician. She had blood on her hand, where it come from I have no idea, I couldnt see anything. But I was starting right at her when all of this happened and she looked startled. Heck I was started for her and the dog. How can you help one but not the other? 50/60 pounds vs 9lbs. Last time the had a towel, use the towel, wrap her in it?
