Bought a Portland 13 electric string trimmer. When it was originally bought the cashier strongly recommended that we get the 1 year extended warranty. Used it 1 time and the motor burnt up. Went back and exchanged it no issues. Used it lightly 2 more times lightly over the next 3 months. Took it back and now they want me to buy a 1 year extended warranty Everytime I exchange it. It breaks after 2 to 3 uses. Never originally told me about the 90 day clause. Now I am out 30 unless I want to have what I will call a subscription service.

Never go here without money. You will always see something you need. The store is clean and well lit, well organized, its almost like they care about their image or something. Staff is friendly and helpful, I never see any of them on their phones. Keep your eye on your junk mail, they periodically send out coupons for free things, which just gives you a reason to go visit.

They always have what Im looking for. Very large arts and crafts department. I shop here anytime I need something.

Went there and bought a live trap, to capture our kittens that escaped and it worked well. The trap is not on the shelf, so a very helpful employee went to the back and got one for me. Very good people!

I was researching online for a specific product and after finding it at the nearest location I called in to verify that they did indeed have it. The staff member was on point and after I provided the SKU and without asking him, said he would put his eyes on it to make certain they had it. Upon my arrival staff was very professional (and made every attempt at their suggestive sales techniques, kudos to them!) straightforward and kind. I do not shop here often, but I had a very enjoyable experience interacting with the most important products in the store, the individuals.

The gentleman on the floor was very nice and helpful. I believe the cashier needs some helpful tips in customer service for sure.

Great prices on many different tools. Any kind of power tools hand tools and compressor mechanics from lawn care to automotive to home remodeling. Theyll probably have it and for cheaper than anywhere else.

All the help was sitting in the office. Had to wait in line to get help, and then wait in line again to check out. When i got help they had no idea about the product.

Cashier working today is in a bad mood to even answer a question. Maybe shes upset for working on the 4th or in general. Too far to drive out somewhere farther so hopefully Harvor Freight manager can accommodate the cashier so she can be sufficient in her job.

I love Harbor Frieght Tools! Their low prices and their equipment. They also have wireless surveillance cameras that last for years. They have gas operated 1 man hole diggers that works great!! It surely beats digging holes manually. They also have an assortment of tools and equipment for your simple needs. Pretty much anything you need quick fast and in a hurry, you can find here at Harbor Frieght Tools!!!!!

I bought a compressor from them and 1 of the plastic wheels broke after i had it for well over 6 months and when i returned it u explained i had lost the receipt but after giving them my phone number they found the point of sale and gave me a new compressor and i was out the door 10 minutes after i got there. I am very happy with the staff the policies and operations of the company. They have a customer for life.

Unpleasant experience. Had a hard time getting someone to help us. Asked for a wheelchair for my dad and was told that they dont have them BUT THEY SELL THEM SERIOUSLY! My dad is 88 and needed one. I THINK IT SHOULD BE LAW AND MANDATORY THAT BUSINESSES HAVE WHEELCHAIRS!

Really disappointed with the 20%off coupon. In large print it says it is good on any one item but the fine print has a long list of exclusions, namely Chicago Electric products. I didnt get such a good deal. Seems like just a good way to lure customers then surprise them at checkout.

Tools are of substantial use and for the discounted prices I think most sold within are of great value and if used with care are worth much more than their price. Would give 5 stars if HF would open a location nearer to I70 and Keystone/Rural. (*hint,hint*)

HF is a great place to find just that one thing. Wide isles are great for wheelchairs but plenty of top shelf stuff you will need a hand to get. Staff is helpful. They do carry reach grabbers and a basic wheelchair amongst the hardware, camp, repair, welding, auto repair, and other miscellaneous materials. Always check their flyers for bargains!

Cheap tools to get a one time job done.

Not a bad place for when youre looking for tools at an affordable price. A lot of people will tell you harbor freight tools is junk and to stay away, but just give it a shot. They have just about anything you can think of in here. its a great place for when youre starting out and just want to get into the world of tools or are mechanic or craftsman on a budget.

I always enjoy coming here. Everything is always on sale and neatly organized. For good cheaper quality tools and must haves, is all here! Anything tool and accessory related!

Dirty location... Much dirtier than the other Harbor Freights that I have visited all over the Indianapolis area... Usually a great place to find tools for a one-time-use. Was really disappointed their selection was not as good as some of the other locations good. Maybe I caught them on a bad day?

Some of the newer offerings seem good. I have used the Hercules 1/4 impact for quite a few months with no problems. It came with a case - finally tools offered here with a case. If they come out with a one handed reciprocating saw (Hercules) I will by it immediately. Beware of what you do buy here. I have snapped the stubby auger bits with one of their drill master brand drills 2x drilling through a top plate for a re-wire job. Thats not good because it would not come out. Had to use sawzall to cut it off. I also have two of their new cases for 4 months and no problems yet. They need to keep expanding their lines for better quality and with cases when appropriate to keep me coming back. I dont have the time or back for junk in my bag. Hope this helps you.
