Great shop in the heart of downtown for fabrics, threads, quilt patterns, etc. Fabrics are very high quality, and a great selection, including some unusual and unique designs.

Small shop packed with flair. Fantastic employees are very welcoming and helpful. Love the selection of modern fabrics by shop owner Heather Givans for Windham Fabrics. They also have a lot of Cotton + Steel (my favorite) and they also have Liberty fabrics! It may be small, but it has all the fabric you neeeeed to buy, plus notions, patterns, and thread.

This is my new favorite quilt store! When I first walked in I instantly felt welcomed by the amazing staff and owner. Heather is an absolute delight! I still cant get over the experience of discovering that yes, you can fit tons of fabric into an almost too small store. Lol! But hey, Ive been in large quilt stores and immediately shut down from feeling instantly overwhelmed so this store was just right. Lots to choose from, lots of fun notions scattered around the shop, again, a delightful staff more than willing to help out, and fabrics Ive never seen before. Cant wait to head back to the store!

Crimson Tate is one of the happiest places to be! They are helpful and kind and passionate about their craft. If you don’t know anything about quilting-just ask! They will get you started. If you are an avid quilter, this is the place to find originally designed modern fabric and all the supplies necessary to make your project a success.

Made it an easy and fun experience. The employee there helped me find the right colors for a dress I was making. He was very kind and cool and extremely helpful. They have every shade and pattern you could need and he says they get new fabric all the time. My check out bag came with a spare fabric wrapped like a ribbon on the bag. So cute! Will be a regular here.

Absolutely loved this store. I went in because of all the great reviews. I was not disappointed. The owner was great. Not pushy but genuinely had a love for her art. The fabric selection was bright and lively. I would definitely go here again.

Crimson Tate is a fabulous fabric/quilt store. It should be rated off-the-chart! Having shopped at another large fabric store, I could not find a matching fabric for my project. Of course, Crimson Tate had several from which to close. Owners and staff are equally incredible. A quality store for quality sewing or craft projects. Love it!

Walked into the shop as the owner and staff were packing up to go to Paducah KY for the Quilt show. They were busy but they greeted us with a smile and were so very helpful. I love the colors and the fabrics they have. I am a traditional quilter wishing to broaden to modern quilting. This is the shop in which to get the help and enthusiasm you need. I loved it.

They are not opening their doors to the public! What a waste of time to walk there under the hot Indy summer.

Coming down for Gen Con, had an emergency for our costumes. Found this little store and was really happy for it! They are just a tiny little store but had just about everything we were looking for. Both the employees there were super nice and helpful. Had really interesting fabrics as well.Will always recommended them!

I miss this store! Moved to northern Michigan several years ago. There are wonderful fabric shops up here, but nothing like Crimson Tate. Glad youre all doing well.

Amazing, quaint little fabric store, filled to the brim with treasures galore. The best treasures of all, though, are the friendly, helpful, and energetic staff. Dont visit Mass Ave without taking a minute to check out Crimson Tate. You wont be sorry!

Love this place! They always carry the best designers and have always been helpful to answer my questions. They even helped me find out how to sharpen my pinking shears and didnt charge me any more than they were charged. Support this local business!

We were in town to visit the shops on Mass Ave and this was my favorite one...I am not even a quilter! I loved the colors, the charming displays, the super friendly staff, and how well curated the collection of fabrics is. They have a great selection without being overwhelmed by too many choices. It was easy to pick out a few fun prints for a project.

Ive taken several classes with Heather and David and simply adore them. The shop has fantastic modern quilt fabrics and supplies, and its staffed with the most helpful and lovely people. The shop may be small but it is bursting at the seams with positive energy.

They have a wide variety of specialty cloths as a matter of fact the woman who owns the store makes most if not all the patterns that are in there theres also some Fabrics from London that you might like beautiful quilts classes are given there my best friend likes it so we go

I have never been so disappointed with a quilt shop... I had to come in with my two little kids and of course one of them had to pee shortly after I got there. I know that they have to have a restroom for staff and I figured since I was a customer they could have been a little more helpful... instead they told me I needed to walk a block away in the rain with 2 little kids. I was pretty upset considering I just paid for parking to come specifically to this shop! I could not imagine taking a class here. It is the size of a large closet and there is no bathroom!!! The fabric is not my cup of tea either but to each their own. I WILL NOT BE BACK. We ended up walking a little farther to a candy shop who didnt have a bathroom either but so graciously let us use their staff restroom. So I gladly gave my business and money to them!

Check hours before you go and be prepared to pay for parking. $1 gets you an hour - youll need the whole hour- great store

Not what I was expecting. Nice cotton selection stuffed into a walk-in closet sized shop. The amount of fabric in the limited space is too overwhelming.
