Absolutely the most deplorable customer service ever seen. Why you pay for a nationwide coverage only to have these people give you every excuse in the book about how their branch is separate from another and thus they cant service you, etc. It is just totally ridixulous. They then want to band aid you to get you back to your home branch and make them fix the problem. Qll the while the problem is a battery you bought from AAA WITH A WARRANTY. It is by far the worse scam ever seen. Do NOT sign up for AAA - get coverage through your insurance carrier or someone elaeas AAA has totally gone to garbage!!!
Truck 21 M. Brown came out and help me with my flat tire. He was very professional and the job was done fast.
We are 30 year members of AAA and have used their roadside service for a long time. It’s really the only reason we have a membership. We have seen a significant decline in the response time of the roadside service over the past five years, just as competition has increased and more organizations offer competing products. We make allowances for heavy snowfall or cold weather or rain, when demand would be heavy. But even in great weather (like today), it takes longer and longer to get the phone answered, then to get a quoted time, and finally to have service. It took 20 minutes on hold for the phone to get answered, another 30 to get a quote, and 90 minutes to get service in the middle of town (80th and Keystone). If I want lousy service I can get from anyone. Either AAA isn’t paying enough so that wrecker services are interested in working for them, or they don’t make agreements with enough wrecker services to handle the demand. Once The wrecker gets here, the person will be effective and helpful and competent. But that should be within one hour, not 2 1/2.
Over the weekend I received absolutely OUTSTANDING service from Alonzo. He was incredibly patient and kind and he made my day - which started out as an incredibly stressful one before he was there to help! Not only did Alonzo come much faster than we expected, he was able to jump my car! We told him we’d tried ourselves and must have done it wrong and he proceeded to help us understand how to do it in the future. The very definition of above and beyond the call of duty! When I mentioned the age of my battery he recommended I get a new one and offered to replace it with the one on the truck. I was impressed he had exactly what I needed and it made my life easier so I didn’t have to drive to a car shop (and it was a very fair price)! Thank you Alonzo!!
AAA Hoosier motor club is excellent been in business for quite a while Ive been crushing for a long time and I will continue being a customer that would help me out especially when Im stranded
I was helped by Don today. It started at what I thought was a flat but ended up needing a whole new tire. Don was kind, patient, and helpful. Thanks Don!
I was really surprise how fast he came. He quickly changed the tire and I was onMy way to the tire shop. I only wish the memberships weren’t so expensive.
I only had 4 days of vacation action time and I was going to visit Gatlinburg where Dave and I got married. He died in a motorcycle crash 3 years ago (not his fault). I called AAA at noon, yesterday. Stating what type of tow truck I needed for an RV, your people send me a tow truck for a car. That put me behind an hour just bc your phone person did not send the proper tow truck. I received a call from dispatch asking a bunch of questions about the RV. They said they would get back to me. I waited and waited. Next, they said they are trying to find a tow truck. Through numerous calls with many people I get a tow truck to pick it up at 5:00 pm. Earlier they asked if I could wait until tomorrow!! Are you kidding me? I told them from the start I had to be in Gatlinburg as I have paid For 3 nights and cannot get my money back. They pick it up at 5:00 and I contacted the place in TN letting them know I was not going to make it last night. It is now in the repair shop and I’m sitting home on my vacation. The tow guy that showed up said that AAA called them over 3 hours prior, ready to come get me before they were finally told to go pick me up but he said they told him they were looking for better pricing. Meanwhile, I’m a sitting duck, lost out on two of 4 days vacation and $140 for two nights Non-refundable to the campsite. I have not had a vacation in years and it’s all messed up from knowing I had a deadline and AAA putting me off for hours just because of trying to find the cheapest tow for an RV. I WANT MY ENTIRE MONEY BACK FROM HOW AAA HAS MESSED ME OVER. NOTHING LIKE BEING BURNED WHEN YOU HAVE I INSURANCE BUT JACK AROUND!!!!!!
Brian #37 call #5022 arrived on time called prior to and when he arived was very pleasant and professional. He explained exactly how this process would take place and provided a call to my phone to let me know he had drpooed the car at my destination and who he talked to. I felt my car was in good hands. Thank you Brian. He is an asset to the company.
Have subscribed for years for my entire family. Always like the security of having AAA at hand. But I am very disappointed that the cost for 2021 held no reflection of the current restricted travel situation. I rarely leave my house, and do so mainly for groceries, same for my husband, my collage age son is attending college from our basement. Seems like AAA would be more cognizant of all of this.
I have had to call AAA more times than I’d like to admit (I had an accident a couple years ago that left me with very few long term memory and left my short term memory on the fritz... I guess a 15 foot fall, landing on your head on a concrete slab will do that to you! Lol). I digress, so I’ve had to call probably once a month recently for a jump, a screw in the tire once, and/or to unlock my car. They, as y’all probably know, estimate time of arrival when you call roadside. Damn near every time they are 10+ minutes early, only once did they not arrive prior to the estimated ETA, and that time they made it 1 minute after. The service techs that have come out have all been very good; they’ve been sociable, kind, honest, and efficient. Always making sure I understand what they are doing and why. The last guy I had, after checking my battery, made the call to put in a new battery which cost me nothing (even though it was probably my fault because I’d let it die multiple times. It was their battery that was in there, that’s why it was free.). Like I said, they do quality work and are very prompt and efficient with their time and mine. I would recommend a membership to anyone I know, it’s well worth the cost, especially if you are a single female!
Affer many attempts finally received requested information. Agent Laura on Tuesday,May 6, she was exceptionally helpful and thoughtful. Thank you, Laura - and AAA- will continue to rely on AAA for more help and advice. Eleanor Hannemann
So far Ive waited for 4hrs and 18mins for a tow. Its warm out,no snow or ice. Its a weeknight, no holiday rush. I called at 615pm. Worthless.
The service is great and you get shopping and travel discounts with the membership, well worth the price. Also saved a lot of money by switching my home and auto insurance to AAA.
Horrible customer service today at 59 degree weather it took them over 2 hours to respond to a disabled vehicle and the occupant of the car ended up with a good Samaritan coming to his aide, and help change the tire and paid the man 25 dollars for his service. I paid 207 dollars for roadside assistance from Hoosier AAA and got no service. When I called to complain and ask for a refund was told without a receipt they would not reimburse. I paid for the roadside service to avoid being put in potential dangerous situations like this. On Wednesday, the roadside assistance number stated due to the extreme cold they would only help motorist stuck in traffic, those at home in a warm house would have to wait. So today what happened to helping stranded motorist first? If I could give zero stars I would.
I visited this place for job interview the place was very welcoming and it was a really good atmosphere. Even though I did not take the job I will recommend these guys for service
