I stopped by this beautiful jewelry store today to get a new battery for my Raymond Weil watch. The owner personally took my watch back to his watch repair man and returned in about 10 minutes to tell me that my battery was not bad at all, it was something due to the electric system of the watch. He then took about 15 more minutes with his watch repairman to tell me that they couldnt find anything wrong with the watch as he was polishing it up before handing it to me at no charge. While waiting for this service I saw a pair of reasonably priced earrings that I thought I would buy for my wife. I was totally impressed by all the trouble they went to carefully wrap these earrings in a beautiful box with a ribbon that I will probably present to my wife later tonight. I was highly impressed by JC Sipe Jewelers.

Took my great grandmothers ring there to be resized. They did a beautiful job with it, and not only did they resize it, but reinforced the band and fixed some faulty repair work that was done years and years ago. It now looks like it did when she wore it and I couldnt be happier. Service was quick and they couldnt have been nicer.

I am not a frequent jewelry buyer. In fact, I know more or less as much about jewelry as I do about philosophical syncretism under the Sassanid Empire. Pretty much nothing, that is to say. But this is where I bought the wedding rings for my wife and myself, some fiteen years ago, then admittedly very little more since then, until a ring with a nice gem for my wife again today, on occasion of the birth of our son.The same kind, caring gentleman always helped me in my choices. I believe that speaks for itself: the experience of purchasing something special was pleasant and personal. Not a haggling match.Choosing the right gift was also made easy since I found all that was suggested to me was in good taste.I wasnt made to feel as an appendage to my credit card, as is sometimes the case in retail, nor pushed to go beyond my original plans, and never walked out feeling unsure about what I bought, which I find is fundamental when buying something of essentially sentimental value - one doesnt usually choose a jewel based on mechanical reliability, horsepower, or resale value. I will be happy to return.

I have been an online customer with this jeweler, and I can honestly say I’ve received better customer service and continued communication than I’ve received from local jewelers. The response to my orders have been immediate and all shipping information is provided as soon as the orders are shipped. They let me know if what I ordered is in stock and if not, whether they can get it from the manufacturer. Sam has answered texts from me late on Sat night, and it’s always an immediate response. I wish Sipes had a location locally. You can just tell that they honestly care about their customers.

This family owned jeweler is trustworthy, high-service, and patient while helping with selection, sizing, & customizing (if needed) in anything to be sure things are just right. We moved to Indy 8 years ago but it wasn’t until finding JC Sipes that we found someone that was able to address and satisfy all of our needs. They helped us make changes to jewelry pieces that needed work as well as evaluating some heirloom pieces. They went above and beyond and provided beautiful selections on new pieces and gifts. If I could zero stars i would. I felt unwelcome and judged. I told them the situation of how my wedding ring was destroyed but my stone was saved. I am not traditional and did not want a diamond. I have a beautiful pink amethyst stone and wanted to use it with a new setting. The owner proceeded to tell me my stone was worth $50 and why would I want to build a $2500 setting for a cheap stone. If it is or isnt is not the point. It was so disrespectful! They clearly cater to a certain type of person! Dreadful experience!

I had to do some repairs to my wedding set which had a simple family diamond as the center. I debated some options to retain the original setting as it was or spruce it up by replacing side diamonds with something a little bigger. Between the designer and the Sipe family’s patient exchanges with me, I arrived at a decision that was very pleasing to me and my husband. I love the update on my treasured ring which retains my husband’s grandmother’s diamond. I appreciate the time, counsel and artistry I received to honor the old and add the new.

We used J. C. Sipe to redesign my wedding ring as an 22 year anniversary gift. They were so helpful and really listened to everything I wanted and helped guide me through the process. I was able to reuse my original diamond and update the design to be more modern. I also had three other rings repaired and resized. A 52 year old family heirloom was lost. Sam and Laura with help from their old appraisals were able to match and replace it exactly. Wish the original appraisal price was still valid. I recently purchased a custom designed engagement ring from JC Sipe. Sam, Laura and Garnet were an absolute pleasure to work.
