With an old engagement ring and wedding bands in my jewelry box and not being sure what to do with them, I consulted Jeff after having him recommended to me. I took some pictures off the Internet of settings that I liked, brought them to Jeff, and he sketched out three possible variations of the ring he thought I would be looking for. I chose his original creation, it came out perfect! I have received so many compliments on my new ring.

Jeff is a highly creative and skilled designer jeweler. He can carve anything. He designed and created from scratch my engagement and wedding set, my husbands band, my stepmothers ring, my sister in-laws engagement and wedding set and my brothers wedding band. He has also made items for me that other jewelers said could not be done. He has the ability to sketch your idea, carve, cast, set and finish it. That is a rare skill today! Rings, Pendants, Earrings, and bracelets are all in his wheelhouse. Vintage, Modern, Funky, and one-of-a-kind are also in his skill set. Ive known him since 1996 and wholeheartedly recommend him for unique, hand crafted and perfectly executed jewelry.

Jeff is incredible. I cannot say enough about how great my experience was! He was recommended to me by another jeweler who claimed that Jeff was the jewelers jeweler of Indianapolis -- the guy that other jewelers use to do things that perhaps they arent capable of doing. I am in the arts and was really looking for a craftsman as opposed to buying some gutless ring out of a sterile case at some place playing lame classical music. Jeff is an authentic guy with a boatload of skill. Not knowing exactly what I wanted, I described the engagement ring I had in my mind. He took out a pad of paper and a pencil and sketched a few ideas (upside down as I was sitting across from him). That totally blew my mind. He was able to transform my great-aunts old cocktail ring into the engagement ring of my (and my now wifes) dreams. The guys got vision and talent like crazy. If you value authenticity, honesty, craftsmanship, and transparency, choose J. West. No way youll be let down.

I felt fantastic about my experience with J. West. I worked with him to design a custom ring for my fiance and it turned out beautifully. Jeff was extremely helpful and really went the extra mile to make sure I (and eventually my fiance) was very happy.I had pulled a bunch of stuff from my fiances pinterest and brought it to Jeff.
