Tl; Dr - Calvin, Tessa, Brooklyn, and the doctors were amazing, they will get you right!The team over at Eyeglass world on Crawfordsville road were of great help. They were extremely patient with working with my new job.Not only did i have to wait for my benefits to go into effect, my HR office also put my information wrong so i had to wait even longer. Calvin was extremely patient and even helped by checking in to make sure my insurance was active. Once hr. fixed the issue, he already had the order completed before i even called.Tessa was of great help in assisting me with learning to use contacts. She provided great tips and did not rush for me to learn to put the contacts in. She definitely made the process easier.Brooklyn and all of their doctors were also of great help with assisting in my eye exam and checkups to see how my eyes were handling them. They were very receptive of questions and even helped me find a more comfortable contact lens.I would highly recommend visiting this location in Speedway

Had never been to an Eyeglass World but walked in to see if they could fix a couple pair of glasses. C and C (cannot remember names but both began with a C) were very courteous. They acknowledged me as soon as I walked in even though they were with other customers - and had me take a seat. They werent able to fix one pair but did the other and didnt charge me. I appreciated their great customer service.

Fantastic customer service, Im talking tippy top of the A list. Calvin and Brooklyn are awesome. Ive had to warranty my sons glasses at least 10 times, each experience was great. Customer Service is not dead and this place is night and day from the 38th street location.

Went in with two broken pairs of glasses. Was waited on quickly even though it was busy. Chrys and Tessa were both friendly and efficient and I was in and out of there quickly with two pair of repaired glasses. Highly recommend this store.

It had been a little over 2 years for my eye check, they were able to get me in quick, the exam went smoothly, good selection of glasses and they had them in stock and the lenses, had my new glasses next day. I would recommend Eyeglass World!!

Eye glasse world is the best for the quality of services they are offering here in Indianapolis..I’ve come across this location on west side of Indy and I had the best experience ever. Customer service is awesome and they are extremely friendly and ready to help. Mr Calvin was the best .

I brought my 8yr old daughter in for an exam in which she ended up needing glasses but the doctor( a woman not quite sure of her name) and staff made her experience AWESOME! Chrys(also a woman) and another gentlemen helped pick out the cutest glasses ever which helped my daughter feel more confident about having to wear glasses. They were very helpful and professional. Highly recommend!

Great experience beginning to end. The Dr was fabulous. She made sure everything was perfect during the exam. The customer service was also excellent. This is the first time in years I can actually see with my new progressive lenses. I am so happy! Thank you so much. I highly recommend them and will be referring everybody.

Such an amazing experience! The Doctor made me feel super comfortable and she answered all the questions I had in regards to my eye sight. She even recommended some coatings that I could put on the lens to improve my vision at night! If possible, have Tessa help you out! Apparently I was getting the wrong frames this whole time and she really took her time to put things into perspective and helped me select from a wide array of options! Stephanie helped me feel comfortable while I was doing my initial exams as well! Overall it was a great experience!

This is my first visit here all I can say is the lady with the head cover lady Z is the best optician that I’ve ever worked with ; I came in with my prescription and I didn’t purchase however Z deserves a 5 stars review for such a great help she explained everything about my prescription info that I never knew with a 15 years in glasses she amazed me by how smooth she runs the store even when they didn’t have employees it’s only her and the other new girl and still she’s nice polite and professional. Thank you Z for the best customer service experience . And next year I’m definitely gonna do my exam with your doctor like you suggested to me . God pleased you.

I had a 1:30pm appointment at the 38th street branch and was asked to be there 15 minutes early, i got there @ 1:08pm, no one greeted me, so i went ahead to look for glasses while there were two staff attending to customers, the customers left 15 minutes after i got there but still no staff ever care to talk to me waited another 5 minutes and finally told one of the staff to cancel my appointment for the above reasons and i told her that they do NOT HAVE A GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. shame on them for wasting my time.

I felt there should have prior to the exam been questions asked about insurance and I be given how much the visit would cost . I was given eye exam and contacts without knowledge of how much I would have to pay out of pocket after and I really couldn’t afford it but I needed a new prescription. The staff was friendly but it would have been nice So I could have had option to go to a place where my insurance would have covered more of the cost .

My son bent his plastic frames to the point that he couldn’t wear them. We took them in here and received prompt, friendly service. They heated the frames and fixed them at no charge. Great service, thank you!!

They are never on time. Do not a schedule me at a time you know you can’t see me. Expecting me to sit to wait 30 mins past my scheduled appointment. Just not cool. I will never use your business again.

Friendly and take care of your problems very quickly. My only complaint is that they do tend to call o you in front of the store if they are busy with other clients which (for someone with social anxiety) can be very scary.

I had come into town last week for my sons tournament. I lost a contact and had 0 replacements with me. They took me in so I could not only watch my sons remaining games but make it home 2 hours away safely. They were so professional and nice. I truly cant thank them enough for helping me out! Great service and great people!

My experience at eyeglass world was pleasant. When I arrived for my appointment I was taken right away. I got fitted for contact lenses and sense it was my first time I had to be shown how to put them in. The lady that helped me was very patient and went through all of the steps with me. Its been a couple of days of me wearing my lenses and I couldnt be happier they fit perfectly. Although they are a bit on the pricier side compared to where Ive gone before I believe that they are more thorough so you get what you pay for. In essence ill look forward to going back for my follow up and here again in the future.

They got my son and myself in on time and we spent a total of 25mins total in the store exams included great service and staff gets a thumbs up

I was kind of nervous about going somewhere for glasses (no vision insurance and I am on a budget), but this experience was very good! I would definitely recommend it. I opted to do some of the extras but I believe a basic eye exam was $39 (very affordable!). I got the 2 pair for $78 (the glasses are organized clearly by price so you know what you are getting). I also chose the extra exam for vision field for $15 (because I had some additional concerns for my vision). The staff were professional, helpful, and very nice. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helped me so much in regards to my chronic eye redness. I feel like I should have gone here years ago... I will be going back for my annual eye exam in a year!

I visited this location today and the staff here is phenomenal. I’d like to highlight Deric in particular as he assisted me from start to finish. Not only was he pleasant and upbeat when greeting everyone that walked through the door (despite it being a holiday - we all know how much we LOVE working on holidays), he also helped me choose my frames after my exam was completed while keeping in mind the shape of my face and what would look best. I highly recommend visiting this store!

Friendly staff, however when I called and asked if they take VSP insurance they said yes, when I called to make my appointment they said they werent able to find me in the VSP website and would have to verify when I came in. I had to call a third time to reschedule. On the day of my appointment I filled out my paperwork, they started my exam and then after my asking if they were able to get my insurance verified they told me no and ask if I could call. Once I called VSP thats when I finally found out that Eyeglass World is an out of network provider and that is why they couldnt verify my coverage. VSP will not talk to them because they do not tell customer up front. All in all I got a pair of single vision glasses at a good price. I just feel like you should be told up front that they are out of network.

I have been going to this Eyeglass World location for a long time now. I never seem to get the glasses that comes with the discount that you receive when you buy two pair because I am more into the designer pairs but I have to say the customer service is great and I love Dr. Lee, she is awesome, friendly and very professional!I would recommend this location to anyone :)

I suggest not going here. I wouldn’t even give them a star. I got a text stating what time my appointment was and when I got there they couldn’t find it. Lady on phone said she have all my insurance ready and taken care of sat there 30 mins and they still couldn’t even get it figured out.. even after calling my insurance as soon as I left stating there was no problems on there end. Very unprofessional people.

Scheduled my appointment weeks ago all to find out that they are out of my network. So scheduled another appointment with Dr. Tavel. Well, the receptionist at Dr Tavell said that eyeglass world still had me as authorized and they need to remove it. Call eyeglass world and spoke with Derek which he didnt know what the hell he was talking about he put on hold and got back on the phone ask me for my name date of birth..im like dude... really..u shouldve been ask that..the other lady their was rude. Wasted time for real go to Tavel and associates they are way better.

I am extremely beyond upset about my multiple visits to this particular eye glass world location! i experienced blurry vision and bad peripheral sight all of a sudden one evening! first thing the next day i came into this location and the doctor gave me a regular eye exam. she assured me that she didnt see anything serious and suggested it was an infection of some sort from bad contacts. she suggested a follow up visit 5days later. ran same test and still said same thing even though my vision was still bad! she then gave me another follow up visit and once again suggested to just give it time not once did she dialate my pupils and check my eyes for other issues that could be serious. she told me from a normal exam that my eyes looked fine and she didnt see any retinal problems!!! well here i am 3 weeks later at the time still with blurry vision so i go to another location in search of answers. the eye doctor immediately ran test including dilating my pupils and says my retina looks detached and sent me to eye specialist. they tell me indeed it is an detachment and why did i not see a eye doctor sooner!!! i explained that i had seen a eye doctor at this location 3 times and she said i was fine and prescribed eye drops for infection. they were stunned and very confused how she could say such!!! long story short they told me i needed immediate surgery to repair my retina and save my vision!!! it has been 5 weeks since surgery and my vision is still terrible from the long period i waited all because of listening to this eye doctor i trusted who never took the time to run the proper test. now im facing another surgery its looking like and it could have all been handled as soon as it happened and majorly increased my eye health chances if i was properly diagnosed! i am contacting a lawyer this week this whole situation is unbelievable and life changing!!! angry is not even the word to describe my feelings! I was contacted by Nancy from National Vision of Eyeglass World. She asked me for my contact info to make it right and I havent heard ANYTHING since. This company and this location are HORRIBLE!

I really wanted to like this place, but Im not going back here. The first time I went I waited an hour to be seen for my eye exam, with an appt. After my appt I was about to order glasses, but the customer rep said that my insurance didnt kick in until the next day *stale face* Why didnt you tell me this before I did all of this?! Needless to say I paid out of pocket for the exam...the next time I went in for glasses, I wait another hour with an appt and was only looking at frames. When I was about to pay, the glasses was over $300! I said didnt my insurance cover...this lady told me that my insurance was out of network... *stale face* Two hours and some I can never get back. Terrible customer service as well

Took my father here who had Alzheimers they were really kind and caring.After they seen him they had a lady sit with him while it was my turn!Very friendly and professional!! Appreciated very much!

Even though they advertise two pairs for $78, it was over $350 when I got out of there. I also got the insurance, and both pairs of my eye glasses broke in less than a year. However I had moved a hour away so call them to get my prescription so I can get glasses somewhere else but they refused to give it to me. I will never use this place ever again

Worst experience i ever had I went to get a pair of prescription sunglasses their which they told me they could do at the stroeand that they would be ready the next day at 2:00pm i went up their around 2:30pm or 3:00pm when i finally got acknowledged i was informed that my glasses were not abble to do in store because the type of prescription i have which they shouold of known the day before because the tech that makes the glasses their said i dont know why these werent sent out so i wait for the next week 2 days before my trip the whole reason why i want the sunglasses they say the prescription glasses are not ready but the non prescription ones were i said i dont want those my friend is going to pick those up because i got them for him sine i didnt need non prescription sunglasses then i left because no one had real suggestions come today i told my friend im just going to wear those so i can have some type of protection for my eyes i get there and they cant find them acting like i picked them up i said no i didnt i was shown them yesterday but never left with then she called the lady i worked with yesterday and the lady wasnt i was never shown the glasses then i laughed and said well how would i know they are here then smh then i said forget it and i left then i left and she called me telling me that they found the none prescription glasses by that time im on the highway and im not going to turn around and there customer service is trash they basically said sorry and i could return them lol i know i can do that but what can be done to compensate for the multi trips ive made up there and the bs ive had to deal with so i just said cancel the order they could of just gave a discount on what i purchased and what i really wanted was when they came in just overnight them to my hotel and i would be good but nothing was suggestedSorry for the long review i tried to summy it up better but still was long

I was really disappointed. They told me they could get my prescription from my regular optometrist so I went in and wasted a hour picking out frames. They didnt get my prescription, they werent helpful at all. I wont be going back there
