My experience with kermans has been long and arduous so Ill spare all the details. You can read one of the 1 star ratings that has to deal with warranty problems to get the jist of what Ive experienced. Their customer service and communication is the worst Ive ever seen. Numerous times I was told that my complaints were valid, and they would send someone out to do X,Y,Z. They would either call the day of and say they cant make it out and need to reschedule or they wont reschedule with you until you badger them enough. However, reaching them is like pulling teeth. Numerous times I would call my contact, Lauren and it would go straight to a dial tone. I left messages with her co workers and they were never communicated back to her. They are a disorganized mess and an absolute joke, even by contractor standards, which are already as low as you can get... stay far away from this company if you can.

Kermans Flooring installed the laminate flooring in our new home and they are absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, a family member accidentally put some gouges in the laminate when moving furniture into our home. Geoff came out and repaired the floor for us. He is courteous and very skilled at what he does. I was surprised and pleased that he didnt have to take up a majority of the floor to replace the gouged pieces, which were in the middle of the floor. Our floor now looks as nice as it did the day we moved in. Thanks Geoff!!

My experience with them have been nothing but great from the amazing carpet to the amazing service. They are so fast and effective they get the job done. Had Shane come out to do a repair, he got the job done so quick and you can’t even see the repair spots. Great customer service for the whole company.

We had a repair craftsman at our home yesterday to replace a damaged section of flooring. Geoff was very professional, and did a great job on our floor. No detail was overlooked, and could not have been better. Scheduling was excellent and was very flexible to my schedule. I regret that I don’t remember the name of the kind lady that we talked with. She was awesome. I had a last minute change, and they happily adjusted my appointment time. We highly recommend Kerman’s Flooring.

Shane came over and did a great job on replacing the tiles. Everything looks neat and clean they also fixed the flooring in the hallway. They were courteous and polite and explained everything that they were doing. They did a really nice job on the flooring.

Poor customer service and warranty response. Kermans installed the flooring in our new home, we have contacted them multiple times to come out and fix the bubbles that appear in the laminate when the humidity in the house rises. First time it took them months to come out, so much so that we had entered winter months and the bubbles had gone back down. Company told us we were lying and nothing was wrong with our floors, even though we had pictures to prove it. The bubbles came back this spring, took pictures and put painters tape on the floor so they could easily be seen. Kermans refused to fix it as we were now past the warranty period, even though the issue was identified prior to the warranty end date. Flooring quality isnt bad, just poor installation and customer service.

I bought a New Build MI Home 3/2021 and Kermans Flooring is who they use for the kitchen backsplash. On the closing date I pointed out cracks in the backsplash grout where the counter and wall meet. MI homes said they would have it fixed, I have a 1 Year Warranty with the install. When I go to see the completed repair, it is a very uneven thumbed gray caulk line along the entire counter wall edge. This is very unacceptable for several reasons, the grout is white and the counter off white so it looked very gaudy. I speak with Roy in MI Homes customer service and he agreed its a shoddy repair and scheduled Kermans Flooring to come remove the caulk and regrout the line on 9/9/2021. I schedule off work to let the tech in. The tech from Kermans Flooring who spoke little english said he was there to recaulk the line, I explained that he was to remove the caulk and regrout the line. Needless to say Kemans Flooring told him to leave if I wanted grout, they wont do it, (even though that is what was there originally). So Roy from MI Homes calls me and explains that Kemans Flooring will not regrout the area because as the house settles it will just crack again (this is ridiculous as all homes settle and i dont recall caulk always over grout) I reluctantly agree to let them remove the gaudy gray caulk and recaulk there with a thin white even line that looks professional since I was not given another option. That was scheduled for today 9/23/21 so I take off work again to give them a 3 hour window and was called by Kermans Flooring this morning for them to tell me the tech is out sick, there is no one else that can come for him and the soonest they can get me rescheduled is 10/6/21 (2 weeks). I will have to take off work again to give them the 3 hour window. So as of now my Backsplash is still not complete, Kermans Flooring customer service has proven to be terrible, I asked the woman who called me for a supervisor to speak to or call me, she said there is no one. I would highly suggest that you dont do business with this company if you have High Expectations of quality work and/or quality customer service. Pictures coming soon.

The technicians were great. Super friendly, answered all of my questions, and were very professional and great at their job. I was impressed and would definitely recommend this company. They went above and beyond in my opinion.

These are our floors we had installed by Kermans Flooring 22 months ago. We have been documenting issues, contacting Kermans, even had the mill that manufactured the wood to our home (all during the last 8 months.We wanted a seamless look, no translations strips. We had numerous products priced by 6 different flooring companies. We chose Kermans. How could we go wrong? Even the salesman we worked with had the same floors in his home with no transition strips. I saw his pictures, they looked great!So we had them installed. Within months we started seeing chipping, buckling, and gaps. I have over 100 places on my first floor that are literally chipping apart at the seams.The mill that manufacturers the product came to our home. They could not believe it. They explained to us, these floors should have had transition strips, they were installed well past the length of warranty. Why would any homeowner spend that kind of money on something that wasn’t under warranty? We spent the extra buck to go with Kermans, and trusted their professional judgement on our needs and wants.Kermans says there is nothing they can do. They won’t even return my calls or emails. I have left numerous messages, and nothing. They finally called my husband back and told us to get a lawyer if we felt like that is what we needed to do.Please help spread the word, show our photos to anyone that is considering floors from Kermans. Their owner claims their faith, honesty, and customer service on their website. What a joke. Very disappointed.

Service was great! Scheduled quickly arrived on time and cleaned up the mess completely. He had to make 2 trips. He installed 2 glass shelves in my tiled master shower. So I didn’t have to wait till next week to use my shower he came back on a Saturday to finish. The quality of the work was superb.

Kerman’s was the supplier and installer for the tile flooring in our home. We were happy with our selections, but when it came to follow-up service after the sale, we were thrilled thanks to Brad Moore. Brad was knowledgeable and friendly and took the time to listen to all of our concerns, and answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism. He went above and beyond and helped us with an acid wash when we were concerned the grout sealer installed was turning our grout a different color. Throughout our entire home building process, he was one of the most thoughtful and professional of every tradesman we interacted with. Thanks to Brad we are beyond happy with our finished product and we are honored to have had the chance to work with him.

We just bought a house and Mike met me immediately after closing to measure for carpet and worked around my schedule to get it installed a few days later. Same smooth process and high quality work on the condo we are about to put on the market. Will definitely use Kermans again!

Four years ago we had a home built. Within the first year our flooring chipped. Kerman’s flooring, the installer, came out and fixed it. However, over the last several years our flooring has deteriorated and the top layer has been peeling off the vinyl planks. I contacted Kerman‘s to get warranty information on the product. I understand the warranty from the builder is up, but I wanted information on the product. I was told after they came out and viewed the flooring, that they could not do anything because they discontinued the product. They said there was no warranty information available. I was also told that because there were scratches on the floor, they also cannot help us. After nearly 5 years, scratches are pretty normal, but what is not normal is the peeling of the top layer. Also, I have a recorded message where are the employee states that we should expect to have to replace the floor within five years anyway because the quality with the floor builders install is not very good. That’s absurd. We have been having a lot of trouble getting in contact with them. We are extremely unhappy with Kerman’s for not taking responsibility for a faulty product.I would put 0 stars.

Very efficient and superb work done by Service Tech Shane in repairing several areas of our floor which was damaged by a delivery service shortly after moving into our newly built home.

The installers that came to my home today came to my door with no masks on. I asked if they had masks (I was fully prepared to offer them a mask) and they returned to their truck to retrieve theirs. Then, after 3 inches of rain fell last night, they walked in my home with their shoes on- no booties to cover the shoes-- and proceeded to walk through my house. As I was moving about the house, at least four different times, I had to ask them to put their masks on inside my home. My husband, mother and myself all wore our masks for the duration of the service inside to PROTECT them, but they couldnt give the same respect.I spoke to Ashley about this and she was great. Then I spoke to Isabelle, the manager, who said all she could do was talk to them again. I am upset and disappointed that at this stage of the pandemic this is a conversation that needs to be had with anyone that is providing service to a home. My mother is 71 and in poor health and the blatant disregard by these installers not wearing masks is intolerable!! I seriously hope that nothing comes of this, since we three were wearing our masks, but the excess anxiety and worry for the next couple of weeks is a burden that I did shouldnt have. Thanks Kermans, I will be sure to let others know how my service was today.** UPDATE** The president of the company did call and apologized on behalf of the workers. I appreciate the follow up and concern that was extended.

Kermans installed the the vinyl flooring in my newly built home. During the move, there were spots of damage caused by the movers. Kermans was easy to schedule, came out and fixed the 8 spots in 1 hour! The 2 techs that came were professional, fast and polite. I cant tell the difference where the repairs were made, they did such an amazing job! My floors are brand new again and they left behind tons of extra flooring that matches perfectly in case I have repairs that need to be made in the future! Great Experience with Ceramic TileKermans did all of the flooring in our new Westport Home and they did a great job. We just had the cheap vinyl we put in the master bath replaced with the ceramic tile that matched the shower and it looks fantastic. Brad, the salesperson, was easy to work with and the install crew was very professional. I couldnt believe how clean they kept the work area from the time they laid cardboard from the front door to the bathroom to the final cleanup after the grout and carpet re-tack. I would definitely work with Kermans again.

Absolutely terrible company to do business with. In our newly built home.Issue #1: They have been here 5 times to remove and replace our master bath tile due to poor installation. After the 5th time of them replacing and re-grouting we ended up doing it ourselves.Issue #2: We were sold water proof laminate flooring for our 1800sq ft home. Week one of move in, the floor began to bubble at every seam. Now, 8 months later and many visits from Kermans...our flooring looks like an ocean because its so wavy.They told us this was NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR.Short story long - they are SUPER nice to your face. As soon as they leave and return to their office you get a whole other side of them.PLEASE do yourself a favor and do you business elsewhere to avoid headaches.

They remembered me as a past customer and took care of my problem at no charge. I can’t say enough good things about this company. Horrible customer service.Constantly getting the run around at the Indianapolis location. Isabelle was awful. DIDNT answer calls. Didn’t call back. I left multiple voicemails. Was told she left early for the day. Told she was at lunch. Told she took a half day. I asked for others. Told they were in meetings. Just awful experience. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

I will say the guys came and did a complicated vinyl repair in three spots...one damaged area was where the installers made a wrong cut and the other was where Lowes installers pushed the refrigerator sideways and ripped the vinyl... thanks for the excellent work Keenans Flooring!

We bought carpet for our house from Kermans and had a great experience! We worked with Christy and she was very helpful throughout the whole process. The carpet installers did a great job too, as the carpet looks fantastic!I honestly couldnt be happier with Kermans, their carpet quality and pricing. I would definitely use Kermans again!

I worked with Christy at Kermans for wood flooring for our kitchen, dining room, laundry room, half bath, and family room. She was very good in going through the show room and picking out samples. We needed to match up a wood floor that would go with the trim in our home. We finally found one, and she worked to get me a good price. Once we ordered the floor, she was constantly in contact with me on how the order was moving along. In no time we had the flooring, and she had a great installer that did a fantastic job. We were very pleased with all her help. She is patient and has a great attitude. She did a wonderful job! Thank you, Christy!

Poor quality/workmanship. We had a back splash & carpet installed. Grout is really poorly installed (note this is unsanded grout- looks like cat litter doesnt it?). Seem in our carpet is awful (notice the full room-length stripe down the center of the room). After close to a dozen trips back we were assured both jobs meet their specifications for quality and were dismissed. Update after Dave Sperlings comments: your first install had no apparent seems. In fact, the original seem ran the other way in the room. It wasnt until your installer came in and messed up the fix to the defect that tore the carpet all the way down the room so that you had to reinstall the whole basement that left us with this unsightly seem. And, on the grout, a 50% reduction doesnt yield a nice looking backsplash, does it? Update 2.8.20, just got a bill doesnt include a 50% reduction, sending back with Daves notes below as zero balance due (already paid 50%) Update 3.17.20, the seem was addressed and is a lot better

Our new home flooring was not performing and the manufacturer refused to assist. Kermans and Beazer Homes stepped in to make things right. Kermans assigned a lead (Brad Moore) for our whole house wood floor replacement. Brad provided unrivaled customer support, and exemplary leadership of his workers (Mark Bean a talented craftsman and his son-in-law). Brad kept an eagle eye on schedule and material requirements, while keeping the Homeowner confident with frequent communication. Kermans work quality decisions were the same as if it was their own home. We are very pleased with the Kermans experience and how our project turned out.

I only gave one star because it wouldnt let me write a review without!! I recently built a home and upon moving in I noticed that along the trim on my baseboards were damaged due to the carpet kicking, however I overlooked it and went on with moving into a BRAND NEW built house.. So after being in the home a week, the carpet along the entry threshold was not even in tact!! I have made 2 different appointments for them to repair the damaged area!!!! First time one guy fixed the flooring around the dishwasher(that I didnt even call about) He stated the technician would be out a week later and said technician never showed after me and my husband took the day off!!! I will NEVER recommend this company!!!

I recently had flooring and carpet installed in all of my downstairs areas. Every person I’ve dealt with there was very knowledgeable, respectful and meticulous. Brad, Mark, and Price were all a joy to deal with! I can’t say enough good things, highly recommend!

I work for a commercial building and have had the worst possible experience Ive had with a vendor with Kermans. Horrible customer service. We have had continuous, non-stop issues with this company. They give you the run around over and over. They have ordered the wrong materials more times than we can count. They log more hours than the actually worked. Their employees come in late every day they actually come to work. Weve had several instances where they forgot to come in. We had to work so hard in the first place to get them to come at all to FIX their shoddy work they had done over a year ago. They did not honor the one year warranty because they refused to send someone out until the warranty was up! I cant say enough about their poor customer service and workmanship. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!

Do not be fooled by the 5 stars. They have people randomly post in hope to raise rating. Firstly my brief employement with them left a very bad taste in my mouth. They use inexperienced personnel who do not speak nor understand English. While their installers are contracted and not apart of their company; Kermans employees are encouraged to overlook minor details unless the home owners say something. They over book and stretch out their workers and pay them far less than industry standard so these oversights happen more and more. When I refused to overlook these concerns they very quickly told me that I should not report minor things unless told to. Once reported the office personnel still do not release any details for correction to the installers unless home owners aggressively and lengthy argue that they want it fixed. Basically once you pay them good luck getting it fixed. I raised too many minor concerns which was costing them money in labor and materials which caused my release, but personnel who in the same position who regularly missed things was promoted. During my brief employment I came across very unhappy customers who I was told to basically say anything just to shut them up. The builders and customers alike frequently stated they were finally happy someone who knew what to look for and cared about the product was here, but the person who was in the area before me which caused the unhappiness was promoted and I was let go for refusing to overlook. If you want a company that actually cares about your homes flooring like their own; then go anywhere but here.From the Owners response,This is what Kermans means by top service. 1year warranty but refuse to answer calls from both the rep and the COO, tiles cracked, grout completely missing, 🤦‍♂️ Again choose ANY company before this one.
