This place is a blessing the staff is Extremely helpful, respectful, and trustworthy. After being lied to about the issue I was having with my car. Matt and Nick helped me and assured me they would diagnose and fix problem cheaper than the the estimate I was given. I am so thankful for this service department and would highly recommend especially if you are a single women they aren’t trying to get over on you here. They will actually fix the problem you are having and not take advantage of you being a women.

I made the mistake of not watching the staffs every move.Their sales service is up to par with what youd expect. The salesperson(s) will spend time with you, nothing is rushed. They will tell you almost anything to satisfy you. I was told my credit would only be ran once, but that was a lie (and my credit is excellent). I incurred 3 hard pulls on said day.Additionally, when my loan came through my bank my down payment ($1000) was not applied. After snuffling through the paper work it was my mistake. In their defense I did sign for it. They sold me a car $1000 more than the price we verbally agreed on. If it werent for that I would be returning to them for my second vehicle, likely. Hopefully this review cost them more than $1000.

Beware of this place! Got a KBB Cash Offer of fer of $15840 for my car and took it to Tru Worth and after an hour of waiting the said they would only give me $14500 I then left and took it to another dealer who actually beat KBB cash offer. Dont waste your time with Tru Worth Auto.
I received a KBB instant cash offer for my vehicle. I had already leased a new SUV so I did not need to levy this against a trade. The KBB email only listed Truworth Auto, no other dealerships. I received a phone call shortly after and the rep stated that not only will they write me a check for the offer, but when the car sells, they would cut me a check for half of the profit. Win/win, right? WRONG. The person on the phone failed to mention that there are certain parameters the car must meet in order to qualify for the 2nd payment. Apparently my car surpassed the 15k miles/per year to qualify. Ok, not a big deal. But after they appraised my car, they came back with an offer that was $2.6K less than the KBB offer. They stated that the car checked out fine (its in excellent shape and only four years old), but that something must have been lost in translation. I didnt sell my car that night, went home, got on THEIR website, put in my license plate # and it pulled up my car. The offer matched the same one from KBB. So what exactly got lost in translation? It is my belief that they prey on people who need the money fast. Luckily, that wasnt me. I hopped on CARMAX website and their appraisal was close to the one from KBB. When I took my car to them the next day, they checked it out and offered me exactly what their website said they would. Kudos to CARMAX, never dealing with Truworth again. (The only reason this places is getting two stars is because they were friendly.)
I bought a vehicle for my business at TruWorth in Carmel. I cant say much about the vehicle yet (since I have only had it for two days) other than it was what I needed and reasonably priced. It certainly didnt hurt that it was a one owner with low miles. What I can say is dealing with them was a pleasure. Mannie Davis was my sales consultant. He was laid back, straight forward, and didnt try to work me, which I appreciated. I even had a nice visit with Ed Hourgin, the owner of the business. Mannie, Ed, and everyone else that I crossed paths with were courteous and professional. I would definitely shop there again.
Drove two hours to look at a car. The pictures posted online did not match what the car looked like. The photographer got creative with how they took pictures to hide imperfections. Was told the service light was on because of an oil change, popped the hood and the accessory belt was brittle and had visible wear/cracking. For a mechanic inspected car I was appalled. Then when I said there was no way I was paying asking price, was told they dont negotiate. Well, according to guy who also gave one star they can go up, bit not down in price. Carmax wannabes but shady.
I worked with Rodney and I purchased a Lexus RX350. Hes a very accommodating, patient and knowledgeable person. I can say that they do not bolt an unnecessary plate on the bumper just to advertise their dealership thus leaving ugly holes like Carmax does. I highly recommend Truworth Auto you if are looking. I waited a few days to see if a manager would reach out and at least apologize before posting this but of course they just ignored me. They reached out to me about buying my vehicle and I mentioned multiple times before even showing up that I owed more than what they would probably offer and that I was not able to pay the left over amount. They told me not to worry they would work it out. When I get there the salesman (who was extremely nice and respectful) told me what would happen is the left over amount would just be billed to me by the bank and I would work it out with them. Cool, I was a fine with that. We signed paperwork, they took my car to the back and I was done. Waited for my ride and was about to leave and the salesman comes running out to me. He asked if I could come back inside with him as something “funky” had happened. When I get inside he said basically I have to write them a check for the leftover balance or they would no longer buy my car. I told him that was my concern before I even walked in the door and he just grabbed my keys and walked me out the door. No manager came to apologize or make anything right. The poor salesman was new and they put him out on the floor without proper training. So when I got home I messaged the same person that I was dealing with prior to even coming in and no answer. So I emailed the manager who had originally reached out to me via email, no answer. I’m seriously just so shocked that a place with such good reviews treated me this way. It’s one thing to mess up, but to not even own up to it or try and make things right is just flat out bad business. I will never recommend them and I will never go back to them.

My experience with TruWorth started from the minute I submitted an inquiry about a vehicle. Within minutes I received a response from Alexandra La Rondie with TruWorth and set up a meeting for the following weekend. After explaining my situation to Alex she reviewed with Ryan Green and they never shied away from me a bit. Once arriving at the dealership I was approached by a gentleman named Jess Johnson. Very nice guy, good customer service right off the bat, and he made me feel comfortable and relaxed which in my previous experiences at dealerships didnt ever happen. After small talk and some information of mine was given, we talked vehicles. I explained what I was interested in and how I wanted to go about it and Jess never once pushed me towards something I didnt want or never tried to change my mind to better the deal for himself. When he explained that it was no commission to him no matter what I bought then that made me feel good knowing he wasnt going to try and set me up with something just for his benefit. Jess then took my information and talked with Scott Holthouse to start running some numbers. After a little bit of time passing Jess returned with a set of keys and told me we were going on a test drive. (I was getting to test drive the vehicle I really had wanted which made me feel even better!) After returning from the successful test drive I was made to feel comfortable again for the little time I had to wait while Jess and Scott worked their magic. After receiving amazing news and numbers back we struck a deal and I signed papers for the truck I had only dreamed about getting that weekend! Jess and Scott had done an amazing job for me and got me into the vehicle I had wanted for a long time. If I was asked if I would buy another vehicle from these guys I would say heck yeah! He was patient and personable while explaining the paperwork. Scott was very professional in assessing the value of our trade-in. We are so happy with our purchase and the hassle free process. We looked at a vehicle. We liked it but had a few concerns. It had a bra on the front end and the heated seat wouldn’t work. The salesman said he will take off the bra and could do a “we owe” you a heated seat. I said ok. Went inside and spoke to the manager. He begin to tel me “we do not check all electrical bells and whistles”. He was unsure what was wrong with it. He said I could pay him to fix it at a discounted price. Then he said he will not take the bra off. I explained that I have no idea what was under it. He didn’t care. So I left. My wife liked the vehicle so I got a quote from the Honda dealership to fix the heated seat. The Honda dealership was cheaper than TruWorth and their”discounted rate”. Whatever, I’ll fix it some where else. They were nice enough to deliver the vehicle and buying the vehicle was a breeze. I requested that they wash and sweep out the vehicle for my pregnant wife and they assured me it would be done.. of course it wasn’t. “They missed that”. All in all we got the car we want and it was easy. I am just old school and expect people to follow through with their word.
Honestly I felt at home. Everyone was very friendly and not overwhelming. Not pushy or aggressive either. The process was quick, painless and made me feel comfortable with each step. I will be back in the future.

Unequivocally the worst car buy/selling experience of my life. I talked to a sales person named Josh the day prior to arriving and we talked at length discussing my car and all of its modifications including those involving the performance oriented exhaust. I drove 30 min each way to meet with their sales representatives, when I arrived I waited an additional 15 minutes before anyone began to talk to me or look at my car. When it finally came time for a test drive, the manager stalled my manual car in the parking lot and attempted to leave with the parking brake still on. When we arrived back from our test drive the manager disappeared without telling me who to talk to next. Finally, after showing me comparable cars priced in the 20,000-27,000 dollar range they offered me $14,000 on my $23,000 asking price. While I reasonably expected to be offered less than my asking price, their offer was both disrespectful and uninformed. When I asked to negotiate and discuss the price further I was told that my modified exhaust (which had been discussed previously with more than three of their employees) would not allow them to purchase the vehicle without spending $3,000 to install catalytic converters. Regardless of this bold faced lie of obviously inflated prices, any of the employees I had talked to up to that point could have notified me that this would be an issue. I had talked to two employees prior to leaving my home, and neither had mentioned that it would be an issue, despite being specifically informed about the exhaust. My free time is extremely limited, and this company wasted over an hour of my time, cost me an additional hour of travel time, and stalled my car in the parking lot. The lack of professionalism is abhorrent.

No doc fees, no license fees. I really liked their straight up, no BS approach. There were no shady practices and all information was available to me whenever required. Their inspection scorecard is quite unique and they give you detailed service information done on the vehicle on top of the standard CARFAX reports. I bought a 2007 Hyundai Accent from them and this was my first vehicle purchase.Robert LaSalle was my main point of contact at TrueWorth Auto. He is always quick with replies and gives you the information you need. I was actually on the way to another dealership but he called me and made a solid case for visiting TrueWorth Auto as well. He even offered to do a VIN check on a private party vehicle that I was considering to buy. In his words, he wants to educate you as well as advocate for you, regardless if you choose to do business here or not.
The process to get appraisal on my trade was a little bumpy but the approval on the “new to me” car was great, and I love the car still after 3 months later but, the reason I’m giving the review 3 stars is due the the sales tax I had to pay when I had to get plates. Me being in Ohio, I seen everything truworth advertised and even told me when I was signing the papers. Was told they would cover a large portion of the sales tax and I wouldn’t have to pay a lot when I get plates. Fast forward to now. when I went to the title office to get the title released to my lender and receive the memo title, I was told I had to pay the full sales tax on the car due to it being out of state purchase. When I contacted the dealership, my salesman was even confused but, for some reason no one is giving me recourse or reimbursement on my Ohio sales tax I paid out of pocket,even though I was told it was all handled through truworth. So I’m out $1900. Just a lesson I guess when buying out of state.

He explained everything thoroughly and helped find a solution to some challenging logistics in getting the paperwork signed before going out of town. He and everyone else I interacted with was very friendly and professional.
DO NOT SELL THEM YOUR VEHICLE. Sold them my Ford Escape before I moved across the country. Everything was great before the actual sale. Scott T, the guy I dealt with, was very friendly and helpful, and gave me all the assurances in the world that my vehicle was in excellent condition, and the low miles for the year and model would make it an easy sell. Cut me a check and said to expect the rest in about 2 months, depending on when the car sold. Received the confirmation email outlining the next steps and when I would be contacted. Weeks go by, and I see the car is no longer listed, so I reach out to Scott. No response. Wait a few weeks, as life got busy, reached back out, still no response. Tagged 2 managers of the company on the same email thread Scott was ignoring, still no response. Mind you, all communication prior to the sale was done via email, so I know this is a valid line of contact. So its now been 3+ months, with no communication from anyone at TruWorth, and I feel I was pretty much lied to and screwed over in a big way by them. Id recommend selling your vehicle elsewhere.

Drove 5 plus hours with a buddy to get his car. This place is a joke. First off I had to move the car we were trading in around back because the sales guy can’t drive a stick. Stalling it over n over and over. Thought he was going to smash into a parked car. Second on the way home we noticed the rear headrest were missing. Called to see if they were laying around somewhere. They didn’t care said the car was sold as is. So in short this place will sell you a car that isn’t safe or is missing safety features. I’d go somewhere else. I had to buy my own. What a joke

I had been waiting for my trade in to sell to provide a review of the TruWorth process and I’m happy to report that it is complete. I traded in a car for another from the Carmel TruWorth dealership. I am happy with the experience and the assistance from Robert LaSalle and Minnie Davis. I traded in a sports car and picked up another. Could I have sold the car on my own for more, maybe, but not worth the hassles. I received a fair initial price from TruWorth on par with what others were offering. They did sell my car 3 months later and we split the proceeds minus an expected fee. That certainly helped with the initial trade in value. The car I purchased with not common and as a result I paid a price, but again it was fair or even better than average compared to research findings on several national websites. Overall this was a fairly easy process I would certainly be open to doing business w/ TruWorth again.
The dealer promised to beat the offer I already had received from another dealer. I took the time to come into their office to discuss this. They ended up matching the already disclosed offer and did not beat it making this a waste of my time off. 3 days later, they offered to split the difference and meet me in the middle via text. When I then called to schedule the deal, they backed off the offer again! I question the business ethics of this dealership.

This place looks nice on the inside but they are a terrible company. They valued my car as scrap basically, offering me $300 (yes three hundred) total for the vehicle. I literally went straight to the dealer across the street and was offered $4,000 for my car by them. Do your homework before going to TruWorth.
I walked into TruWorth with the plan to sell my sons car and a good idea of its value. They appraised it and offered me a fair price. They walked me through the process (quick and easy!) and even gave me a ride home. Thanks Lauryn! I really appreciated all of your time and effort to assist me.
I had the best dealer experience at Truworth! My salesperson Erika was just wonderful. She really jumped through hoops to get a car for me. I am still so impressed with the way she took care of me. She even gave me a ride home the first night came I came in and was not able to complete the transaction.
So happy I found TruWorth! I hate walking around a car dealership and negotiating price! Yuck! TruWorth was wonderful! No pressure, could look at all the cars I wanted, drove four different cars, had the BEST salesperson (Jenn Osborne), easy transaction! I bought a Ford Edge Titanium and its beautiful. All the cars are bought by the owner (love that its a locally-owned Indianapolis business!) and are serviced and cleaned WELL (TruWorth does its own servicing). Even leaving the lot the first time, my husband said how reasonably priced the cars were (thats huge--hes a tightwad, er, I mean, frugal man). Nice place to do business! I will tell my friends for sure to go to TruWorth!
From start to finish the whole process was smooth and laid back. Josh was great to deal with. There was no pressure to buy and they were able to hold the van until I could get my wife there to sign for it 2 days later. Thanks again!

I went to Truworth looking for a new van. I was very happy with how helpful my sales rep. Erika was in the search for a Town and Country. I was also impressed with how she offered to help sell our new transmission out of the old one. I was very impressed with her knowledge and care for us as customer. We did not purchase a van, but she very helpful and considerate of what WE wanted.
TruWorth gave me a little below the fair market value for my car, it took 2 weeks, but I received the funds. Because they were offering a little below the market value they sold me on sharing their profit with them via their shares program. I was comforted by their confidence in selling my car quickly. According to the sales rep after sharing the profit with them I would receive an estimate of an additional $500. My car sold within a week, I couldnt believe it and was curious as to what they put into my car and what it sold for. They kept telling me to wait 45 business days and would not provide any further information. I received my breakdown today, 2 months later. They put $1,137.05 into my car and spent a flat fee for marketing and producing of $899.00. What they put into my car and marketed, I have no idea as my car sold within a week. This shares program is a complete scam. They can place any number they desire on this breakdown to drop the profit they share with you. I received an addition $100... by not participating in the program you have the option of receiving a little more but they push the shares program. I recommend selling your car to them but DO NOT participate in the shares program. Luckily it was only a difference of a couple hundred for me, but if you have an extremely nice vehicle take the extra money now. They would have more room to lie about what they sold the car for and put into the car.
Great experience buying a car for my dad. Friendly staff. Open, honest and up front with everything. Will definitely go there again. Rodney was an awesome salesman to work with. Very friendly and hard working! Cant say enough good things about him!
John did a great job with our purchase. He even took the time to show our two boys(ages 6&7) the details of the sports cars in the showroom while we were processing the paperwork. By far the simplest purchase I have ever made!
What a great experience it was from the moment I arrived at TruWorth. Rodney had the vehicles I wanted to look at ready to test drive, along with others so I had some choices. Chip was super friendly and the process went very smooth. It was freezing and snowing, and Rodney took the time to clean off the entire vehicle for me to drive home in. I love my new car

TruWorth worked great for me! I called TruWorth before I left my house and told them I wanted to look at the 2013 Jeep Wrangler, they had listed on their website. I pulled in to TruWorth and the Jeep was parked at front, perfectly clean, ready to test drive. They were all very nice. The prices are as-is but they are priced great! I love my Jeep and am thankful for TruWorth Auto.
We are moving out of the country tomorrow and needed to sell our car. We worked with Scott who was very kind and took the time to talk with us and get to know us. They offered us coffee or water when we sat down. They also greeted us with a warm hello right when we walked in. After getting a second quote at car max down the street we decided to come back to TruWorth and sell to them because of the fair price and the even more awesome customer service! At car max they did not even acknowledge we had walked in and instead were all standing at the counter talking. The whole process took about 15 min where they just shipped us out to the waiting room after the guy helping us quickly rambled through his normal routine. I couldn’t wait to get out of there. Thanks TruWorth for being fair, kind, and making our move abroad a little easier! I would recommend anyone selling a car to check them out! We even left with our check that night :).
David, our sales associate, was a professional and accommodating individual. He gave honest advice regarding my vehicle choice and was not pushy in any regard. We recently sold our car to TruWorth. We had a very positive expeirence there. They bought our car for a fair price, and it is my understanding that we will receive 50 % of net proceeds when TruWorth sells this car. We also purchased a used car from TruWorth last year. The salespeople were relaxed and helpful. It is obvious that they dont work for commission, and that really helps. Great place to sell your car. Also great place to buy one if you find what you are looking for. The only negative about TruWorth is that their used car selection not as large.
Wow from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave they treat you amazingly! I traded in my car there and they were so easy to deal with. They offered me a cash price, and had the check in my hand in no time. They treated me respectfully and like i wasnt just another customer to them and all I can say is thank you! My daughter did a deal with Lauryn. She was professional. Smiled through the whole process and while we were waiting for the appraisal she even held a conversation with us. The other workers were also friendly, even asked if we wanted coffee or water while we wait. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to buy,sell or trade their car! TruWorth is amazing.

Jenn gave me thorough information on comparable vehicles in the market, allowed me to leave with minimal pushback, and welcomed me back when I returned.The finance guy, I forget his name, worked really well with me on my options and financing plan.Kudos to all that work here.

We had a great experience buying a used car for my son. Dave Hart was super responsive and pointed out many issues or potential issues with the car including the need for alignment (which he had performed for us) and a light scratch (which he had buffed out for us). I would definitely recommend this method of buying a used car!

Got me out of a jam by buying my car and my shares check was spot on with what they projected. Offer could of been better, but thats all dealerships, which is why I detest dealerships. John Testerman was great to deal with and my time there was hassle free and fairly quick. Ill never be a dealership guy, but if you are, give them a shot.
My experience with TruWorth is mixed. First my salesman, Mike McArdle was great, he was well informed, did not pressure or try to up sell. My experience with the finance department was positive. Their pricing model is nice and simple.The other portion of the story, I was told about an issue with the air suspension on the vehicle I was buying by TruWorth prior to purchase. They were upfront about this and it was an issue I was willing to manage since the Land Rover I was purchasing was notorious for those issues. However within a month of purchasing the car I was in the shop needing a new transmission and other unrelated suspension issues. Estimate was $11k. Although TruWorth has a service department they apparently do not do a full review of cars they take in on trade. Spoke with the sales manager about that fact, he offered to make me an offer to liquidate the vehicle at auction, but at this point I opted not to lose even more money. My suggestion to any buyer is spend the couple hundred dollars and have an independent garage take a look at a vehicle before you sign on the line. TruWorth should have known about the transmission issue and lower control arm (and if they did they never disclosed).
I sold my car to TruWorth (in Carmel, IN) but when I first heard about their well pay you close to market price PLUS share 1/2 hour profit with you I was REALLY skeptical. Well I tried selling my car on my own for a couple months with NO luck. Ive sold cars on my own before and had a lot of success but not this time. I decided to give TruWorth a shot because I was tired of trying to sell on my own. TruWorth gave my a check when I gave them my keys (and it actually cashed). Then, about a month later, I got a call from my representative telling me they have ANOTHER check for $860 ready for me! I was blown away. Everyone was very friendly, straight forward, no gimmicks, and transparent! Granted, the overall total was still under market value but for how EASY it was with TruWorth....it was well worth it!
I sold my mothers car to Erika. She gave me a fair price, and had me in and out in under an hour. I am pleased with my experience
