These guys biggest claim to fame is probably carrying a mess of classic, odd, and interesting soda flavors. This also means Rocket Fizz is the only place I can reliably get chocolate sodas for a reasonable price near me most of the time. Even better, they are made with cocoa unlike many other brands. They have a selection of various candies; some domestic, some foreign, quite a few are novelty types if that floats your boat. Rocket Fizz also carries a handful of pop culture décor and replicas of collectibles. If youre in the area they are worth checking out.

Cool place to get tin signs and obscure sodas. Wide candy selection as well. Staff was very friendly.

Its literally like being a kid in a candy store again they have so many flavors of sodas and candy. They even have novelty sodas like barf flavor and dirt flavor soda amongst many more.

Nice for sodas..but most other candy can be purchased other places.

Fun little novelty soda shop

An awesome place with a wide selection of fun and weird sodas. My favorite being the KISS soda. It’s amazing, definitely a place for all to enjoy.

The concept was good the prices were high but in tune with the inflation of 2021. The clerk was like communicating with undereducated children with a lack of hygiene and professional aptitudes..sorry but not sorry as a tourist..

I will go back, loved this place and everything in it.

Neat little place, BUT, the young lady working was very rude. While my wife and I were looking at all the unique soda flavors, she said very rude like, Im trying to stock here. There was another gentleman stocking things in the middle of the store, When went to pay for the items we picked the young lady looked over then looked away. The young man did come over. After a long Covid spell I just expected people to be helpful and I was just surprised by her negative tone.

A very wonderful place to get sugary drinks and treats. They dont seem to have normal water or Gatorade which is disappointing after walking through town and with very few convenience stores they could really capitalize on this. I thoroughly enjoy their theme and the selection is so diverse and exciting.

I came from Kentucky to Indianapolis for the International Conference On Missions. Walking around the city I found a few GOOD shops, but only 1 GREAT shop.What made the others only good, was either the workers attitude or the prices of what they were selling.I am no expert or authority on this matter, but this place seemed to sell a wide selection of rather odd and/or uncommon sodas and candies, as well as elegant looking root and birch beers for what also seemed to be low prices. Im not a candy person myself so I didnt pay much attention to that, but when I saw some of their unusually flavored soda, I expected to pay more than I did.What really.....*ahem*.....SOLD.....the place (see what I did there?) was the friendliness of the people working there.A part of me wanted to go back just for them.I wish I had remembered to learn their names.I highly recommend stopping by and at least checking to out. I visit Indy once a year and I make it a point each time to visit Rocket Fizz for some Bawls, candy cigarettes, and some Zots haha. Great store and friendly staff! Love coming here.

Been here once and probably wont go back. The cashier was more interested in doing dances and hanging out with her friends. There isnt alot of roo. To move around in there and her and her friends were blocking most of the items they had in the store. Half the store is empty and they dont really have anything unique. The candy is super over priced too.

Fun shop in downtown Indianapolis. Great selection of hard to find and unique candies. Cooler in the back with old fashioned sodas in glass bottles. An associate brought me a small basket while I was walking around. I wasnt going to but that much stuff, but it was a nice gesture. A lot of fun signs on the was as well.

They have a good candy selection but a crazy huge creme soda selection. I mean CRAZY huge and lots of them are very unique and odd/silly flavors. They also have weird knickknacks so its all around just kind of a fun quirky place to check out.

My whole family loves this place. Park somewhere nearby, walk to the Circle, get hopped up on sugar at Rocket Fizz, and then enjoy downtown. My kids like the big candy selection and my wife and I like the weird ginger ales. Employees have been friendly and helpful on each of our many visits. Twice, my dad (a retiree who drives a limo for kicks) has driven our kids and a bunch of their friends to Rocket Fizz in a limo and its been a huge hit both times.

Awesome place to vist and I do so often. Super cool. They have super weird soda flavors like pimple pop. Dont worry it doesnt taste like what ever a pimple taste like.

Its one of my favorite pastimes coming here. They have a unique variety of beverages that are difficult to find anywhere else. The curious mind is going to enjoy the different brands of soda here.

This place is awesome! So many cool selections and the employee working the day we went (2 Saturdays ago) was really fun and helpful.

Unfortunately, we had to update this review and not in a good way. This franchise owner appears to have abandoned trying to make this downtown location work. They are going through employees weekly and have hit rock bottom. Rude, disgusting employees. Were giving up on Rocket Fizz.

Great atmosphere, great selection of candy types (old, weird, and new), as well as old fashioned sodas and tin wall displays. Theyve added quite a few stuffed animals as well. Love the store itself, though customer service is usually lacking. Next to a lot of other interesting stores but no parking.

Besides certain staff being rude its a great place.

Always have the most interesting candy youll see in Indy

I had to drop my rating from 5 to 3. I went in today and there was just a bunch of empty shelves. Nothing interesting or unique. Just some candy, orange soda, and root beer. I get it being a couple days after Christmas but it felt like a huge waste of time. Hope to see some improvement.

Neat shop with a very niche set of products. All kinds of sodas from classics to totally bizarre flavors with a pop cultural decor that makes it really stand out in the Monument Circle area. We were recommended it by a local and well definitely be back to try some more flavors.

This place is pretty cool-- though, some things are a bit overpriced, but its worth the spend. my only problem was the staff working there. my friends and i went in there to look around, and one of my friends was followed around the store every time he picked something up, and i dont want to pull out the race card but that might have been it, and there were a few moments where the staff was a little rude.overall, the store is really cool. funny and odd products from squirrel underwear to ranch flavored soda, and delicious varieties of candy to choose from, and really cool vintage signs-- this place is awesome. its just the unfriendly staff that is the problem.

Favorite soda shop in town. A particular favorite is the Special Reserve by Indian Wells. They make great cream soda and black cherry soda. The candy selection is a little pricey in my opinion but good luck finding a store with such a selection of imported candy. 5 outta 5

We had a lot of fun looking around the shop. Any type of soda you could imagine, plus more you would never think of. Lots of candy and other items as well.

The candy I bought their was over priced and hard to eat. Very disappointing. But they do have cool soda flavors so that was interesting.

I really enjoyed the variety body product offered here! Walking through the door one is immediately surrounded by a world of color. It would be difficult to leave this place without spending at least a little bit of money. A cautionary note, the prices add up quickly.

Small location. They have lots of soda options and some unusual candy. Mostly stuff you can buy at walmart. They have some cool posters and a good selection of saltwater taffy.

While you wont find most of your favorite traditional snacks here, there is a good variety of novelty candy and even drinks. They have everything from mud flavored soda to worm pops. A great place for adventurous eaters. (And those of us who prefer the basics.)

What a fun place this is. Its just the place your inner child is looking for. They have a great selection of candy and pop from back in the day...remember fruit stripe gum..yup they have it! They have an interesting selection of pop as well (sorry, I refuse to call it soda) and vintage style tins. The prices are reasonable in my opinion...especially on the stuff I grew up on that most places dont carry any more.

Super awesome sodas and fun kinds of candy

You have to visit this place at least once. It is setup like an old time candy shop on Indys monument circle. You wont find any dark chocolate sea salt caramels here (my favorite). But what you will find is every candy and soda imaginable, and even some you cannot imagine, from your childhood. Uber cool.

Fun novelty soadas. The prices are a bit high, but worth it for a once in a while type of thing.I recommend getting a mixed pack of soda and splitting them with friends, because it is fun/ funny watching their reactions to the taste of some of the sodas.

Great selection of hard to find candy, and more glass bottles of soda than you can shake a stick at. Prices are high, so I recommend only buying candy here that you cant find anywhere else. The blueberry soda was amazing as well. I bought a wonderfully for $3 because I always wanted one as a kid, only to see the same thing at Walmart the next day for $1. Overall, great place.
