I absolutely love my custom closets from Closets By Design! Kirsten, my designer was great and helped me work through the process to get exactly what I wanted. The installation took about all day but it was well worth the wait. The quality of the products are solid, sturdy and just impeccable. The drawers slide very smoothly and with ease. Want my advice? Get the crown molding. It sets the whole closet off. I couldn’t be happier. It’s the first thing that my friends want to see when they come over. I’m counting down the days to my next installation for my home office in the fall. Yay! Stay tuned for more incredible pics.

Buyer beware. The sales person was helpful but the installation has been terrible. They have been late for the removal of the closets and completely didn’t show up for the first day of the installation. The person who did the removal left a mess when he left. The communication has also be terrible. My advice to anyone looking to use this company may want to look elsewhere and read reviews out there. They have horrible reviews everywhere I looked. Do not make the same mistake I did.

Overall, I will never refer anyone to use this company. Worst experience.My designer was absolutely amazing; however ever step after that was absolutely awful.Quality is poor for the price.Installer destroyed my baseboards and caulked them to cover it up. The installer also banged up my freshly painted walls while installing the closets. He installed the closet wrong at first and when he came back the second time he installed it wrong again even though I handed him the blueprint.Lastly, the communication is extremely lacking all around. I scheduled a service appointment for them to fix some trim pieces and bring me two replacement shelves - and all they did was bring me the shelves and leave them on my porch so I had to call back and wait another week and set up another appointment to have all the items fixed.So unorganized and unprofessional. I feel bad for my designer because she is amazing and I was so excited about my closet but now I just want the headache to be over.

Run away. Do not use this business under any circumstances. Missy is perfectly lovely when she comes to measure and design and then its all downhill from there. We have a half finished closet, garage and basement cabinets. Not a single area is complete and now theyre not returning phone calls. They were supposed to be here Monday morning and no one showed up. They were supposed to be here this morning between 9:00 and 11:00 and no one showed up and no one is returning phone calls. Adam is the manager who is one of four people we were told would call us back since Monday and weve heard from no one. Our installer was doing a great job and then hes gotten sent to start another job and also put in his notice last week in the middle of what was supposed to be our install and theres no surprise theyre losing an employee that seems to take his job seriously and do good work because the entire company is an unethical mess. Read these reviews and then take your business elsewhere.

HORRIBLE....Ive been dealing with this company for over 6 months and the job is still not complete. They have poor management and continuously order and bring wrong parts - or are missing pieces. The responsiveness has been unacceptable and I would never use them -- I wish I had read the reviews prior to engaging them in my Murphy bed project. Just go somewhere else --maybe they will be able to turn it around, but I havent seen that happen yet.

DO NOT RECOMMEND to Anyone.Dont waste your Precious time and Money with this Company.One day Showed up and started working, since then its been over a week no one showed up to finish the job and left us hanging with the mess in the closets.No one cares. Filing a compliant to BBB. They should not deserve to be in the market.

Ive now had 5 extremely positive service experiences with them on different days, couldnt be happier.

We had our closet’s done and it was nightmare getting them finished. The first day they didn’t show up or call to say they weren’t coming. We had 7 closets being redone and the day the installer did show up he was by himself and tried to Russ to get all of the closets done. It was a mess and it took the company a total of five appointments before they got everything completed. I would definitely not recommend this company to anyone.

This project has taken six months and it’s still not finished. It’s been one problem after another since ordering

Our experience with this company was just HORRIBLE!!!! Throughout the many, many months of sadly having to deal with this company, I had the displeasure of dealing with Blake. He continually would forget to put us on the work schedule, forget what we discussed, messed up orders, and even seemed to forget who I was despite me having to deal with him all the time due to the companys and his incompetence. One of their workers (sadly I cant remember his name) actually installed several locks on my file cabinet drawers upside down. I think he was on drugs honestly, and fortunately they did finally fire him after he made multiple mistakes on the large job at our house. Then later on, they sent Leslie G who was so arrogant and said her company couldnt add more drawers to an existing closet. I was shocked at her saying this. I then called and hired a competitor who installed multiple drawers with no problem and who did a fantastic job. AVOID this company at all cost!!!!

I looked around at some other places in town that provided the same thing Closets by Design does but I am so happy I chose to use them! It was the best buying experience I have ever had form start to finish. The sales lady Missy was so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable in designing exactly what we wanted for our closet. The installation technicians were also amazing in the pride they put into their work. To top it off my wife wanted a special type of drawer pulls and the owner went out of his way to find what she wanted. He had them shipped in a rush so that they were there for the day of install. Through this process I found out they also do garages, offices, and kitchens so they will definitely be getting another call from me in the future!!!

Installation took over 7 months from start to finish. Product installed was inferior quality pressboard - the home depot self install boxes look nicer that what they tried to install as their standard quality. Company was unpleasant to deal with through the process of correcting and completing their work. If you choose to work with them - go over their work with a fine tooth comb.

These guys can’t get there act together. The spent an entire day measuring my closets only to have done it wrong and they couldn’t install them. They came back and remeasured, and again measured wrong. They are not responsive. They don’t return calls and it takes forever to to get them out.I don’t know how they are still in business.

Hannah with CBD quoted my job on a Wednesday. My two closets were installed the following Wednesday. The team was professional and thorough, cleaned up after themselves and the outcome was what Id hoped for!

I called a month ago and left a message for someone to call me about a closet upgrade. Still waiting on a returned call. You lost out on giving a quote and possibly a sale.
