If you are looking for friendly staff, a wide variety of comics, and a fun place to go, then downtown comics is the place to be. Every time Ive visited the staff has been extremely positive and helpful. I appreciate the wide variety of comics they have and how everything is set up. I could spend hours here.

The west location is a little small, but has a great selection of new and older comics. Lots of cool collectibles. The woman working was very helpful and even gave my daughter the poster she wanted for free since it was the display. Overall great experience

Pretty good comic shop. Has a large selection of trade paper backs, and a small, but good, sized selection of manga, on top of all the new releases youd expect to find elsewhere.

I enjoy going here and always have had a good experience. The store is a little small and the older comic selection isnt the biggest but other than that this comic shop is solid. Staff has been friendly, helpful and always make sure I get what I am looking for.

I drove here after work. Arrived at 5 till 6. There was a sign on the door that said be right back and the door was locked. 25 minutes later a guy walks out of the back takes the sign down and unlocks the door. I go in and ask about back issues of middle West and he points to a drawer marked M. When I pull out the drawer its a sloppy mess of disorganized books, curling and creasing without any bags or boards. There were some formerly good books in there that had been destroyed by bad management. Such a disappointment.

I was a little nervous to come in here to buy a present for my brother - I dont really know a lot about comics so it can be intimidating. But it was a really great experience! The staff was really friendly and knowledgeable, and the store was clean and well-organized. My brother loved his gift & was impressed that I made such a good choice. Ill definitely come here again!

Cool shop on the West side of Indy. Friendly staff. If you have questions, they have the answers.. Great selection of books, and they can always transfer books to any of their 3 locations to help any customer find that perfect gift..

Ice never been to the comic shop, I did however go to boost mobile which is right by it and Id reccomend that boost mobile store to anybody! Friendly and great service

Great Shop! Super Nice and a Very Non Intimidating Staff! One visit here and I switched all my weekly pulls here. If they dont have it they get it from one of their other locations. I actually drive farther to get here over where I went before, but its worth it! Thanks for always taking care of my comic collecting needs!

I was there on Free Comic Book day, and they were exceptionally pleasant on what must be a rushed snd stressful day. They have a good variety of books and trade paperbacks. It is less of a toy store than many other shops have turned into. A small shop but packed with good stuff and good people.

Had the selection of a traditional modern comic book store. The staff onduty was lazy didnt really present anything and kind of just stay behind the desk on his phone. And then when I asked the guy we could read comics he says hed rather not people read Comics at a place he has for reading comics. I dont know. Just felt like a dumb idea considering a high school is right across the street.

I made my visit on July 4th, which this year happened to be a special event day from DC Comics. I came late so the special issue was sold out, and so were some volumes in the series I follow. It could seem expensive if youre not a regular comic book reader. Its kinda like an investment if youre into long-term comic book collecting. Its certainly an expensive hobby. If you like bookstores but were ONLY looking for comics, Downtown Comics earns your business. Its not one of those places where casual readers are shamed or where you feel judged for not knowing what you want.

Clean store. nice lighting. new comics arent in bags so you can actually look at them.

Purchased 4 books @ $3.99 a piece and somehow the bill was over $25. Clerk was Mark. I can understand maybe accidentally double scanning one book but more than one seems a little dubious. Regardless you have lost my business and for anyone buying comics here make sure you double check your total sales price before leaving.

No complaints here. They have a large selection of back issues, never read newer comics as low as $1 ($4-5 cover price) and a large selection of variants and toys.

Very nice clean shop. Well organized.I have reported Google has wrong address.Actually on corner of 10th and Girls School Road. Which is just East up 10th from the location Google takes you next to Marcos Puzza.

The store could be ok except if the manager gets annoyed he throws a tantrum and begins to cuss and berate you. I was having a debate with another patron and he interrupted yelling at me and calling me a fen D and continued to cuss me when I asked him twice not to.
