Im really kind of sad the original Mars Hill Liquor closed down and they conglomerated together into this one. They just redid the other one??? The upside to this one has always been the walk in beer cooler area especially after they did away with it at the other, now closed, location. So theyve crammed everything together and its super packed with product and very claustrophobic feeling too me. Since its our only true liquor store now theres not many other choices besides Kroger or CVS whose selection on anything other than wine is dismal at best, and obviously they dont have cold beer.

Very limited selection. Not a good stop for wines. Great service tho.

The customer service was excellent.

Staff is funny and treat you like family.

Some of the wine, especially top shelf wine, sits right under a heater vent. The wine gets pretty warm there so beware when it comes to purchasing some of these wines as they may have been heated well beyond suggested storage temperatures.

The beer selection sucked. They dont carry IPAs. Ut they had SOCO 100 proof,.so thats a plus.

They recently reorganized this store and really added a lot of extra space and I love how customers can now walk through the cooler, really took advantage of utilizing all the space they have and it turned out very functional.

If you go to the one on Kentucky Avenue you cant be black they are accuse you of smoking marijuana in their parking lot but I am white and my husband was black he was outside talking to somebody and got accused of smoking marijuana has Im in their spending money I asked the lady if I could talk to her manager and she said sure I am the one that went off on me then and they another she called somebody else and another lady comes down and goes off on me too and tells me anybody comes in and says that they have all rights to go out there and start telling people get off the property but it wasnt us but it didnt make a difference because my husbands black and then she says that were not allowed back there no more so we went down the street to another liquor store
