I stand corrected, because Indiana DOESNT have a law that shop owners honor the price on a product. The clerk tore off the wrong price at the register, and wanted to charge me the higher price. The manager, attempted to blame the customer (me) for putting the wrong price tag on the color, wasted time trying to find that I did so on the security camera, and refused to give me his name, because I was going to verify (what I thought was the law)! Nonetheless, since the Asian owner and the Latina(?) clerk who took the lower price tag off at the register would rather resort to this ill treatment of a customer- its apparent they dont want Black/Brown business- even though Im more than certain at least 80-90% does come from us. When a business would rather resort to trying to falsely accuse a customer for their mistake, especially a Black woman, (yet you want Black dollars), Ill just say shame on you and I hope youll learn to be more human.Im certain you dont mind that youve lost my business, but ****Im posting this because after your outrageous behaviour today, I wouldnt be surprised if you tried to lie and put on your security cameras that I tried to steal, or some other reason in the hopes that you can use law enforcement to hurt, embarrass or harm me/people who look like me by making false allegations- on purpose😶****1) I didnt put the wrong/ANY sticker on the color, 2)didnt make a purchase, 3)left peacefully, and4)I will no longer support nor send clients to support Grace Beauty Supply any more- ESPECIALLY customers of color. This was all over an .80 difference, btw.😶

My sister just went to this store for the first time earlier today and told me she was followed around the store by one of the employees. When she went to go check out the cashier accused her of stealing and asked to check inside her babys carrier to see if she was concealing anything. I was extremely furious when i found this out and told her not to go back there. Racial profiling is completely unacceptable and I will be speaking with a lawyer soon to take action about this.

I understand they are giving mask and gloves but if the wanted to open back up and make money then they need to provide the ppe ... I Got lip gloss, hair and skin oils and 2 hair combs . They added items I never brought to the counter and that was $12 added and I didn’t see it until I got home. I guess they took advantage of the fact that I was occupied with my 3 year old. I am disappointed but I should have known better, they are hesitant to speak to their customers but ready to steal.

Good location, multiple hair and jewelry items. Owners need to stop looking at everyone life thieves, put security barriers in place and recognize us as loyal customers who will not only come back for the product, but great, ongoing customer service. Your business is mostly frequented by minorities, but please treat us with respect & courtesy.

Words cant express how awesome they are. This is my main beauty supply store. They are amazing and very helpful. The store is neat and structured. It has a wide variety of items and hair and I love that someone is always able to assist and they are also Christian store. Love the music.

The only place my three adult daughters and I go to!Christian owned and operated and very clean and organized. The selection is there, if you want to pay $$ or $$$$$ for your selection of hair extensions or wig. The syles of wigs are there to accommodate every age. And its always stocked is my favorite ❤️ from the make up, lashes, and all hair products. The best West Side spot!

Bought items under 5.99 and they slipped a 14.99 chemical charged on my receipt. Only 1 chemical bought... hair color for 3.99. Double check your recept before you leave!!! Prices are rang up as general merchandise or chemical. Clerk rings up manually. WATCH THEM LIKE THEY WATCH YOU WHEN SHOPPING!

I went to this store to buy some hair and when I got to the register they charged me more for my hair than what the sticker said. When I asked Sam why, he said that the price was put on the packaging wrong. Ladys always check the price. They are ringing us up wrong. It might be a dollor or two, thinking we would never know. Never going back again.

I was with my son 9yrs old we bought 2 thing and we pay and left, and the owner radom came behind us he said wait wait and we stop I asked him are you ok? He snatch plastic bag from my son hand and checked and he said sorry sorry my son was scared and asked me whats wrong i was so mad he just said sorry sorrywe left I wish I called him police but I didnt. Use to love coming and spending my money with them but today I went in about 750pm so I was calling my stylist to see what type of hair and did she know about the clip ons and how to do them the guy walked up to me and was like were closing were close now then the other guy that was in there with him proceed to tell me what we close in two minutes get what you need and get out never will I ever ever ever ever step foot back in Grace Beauty again I can keep my money and go to back to DJ Beauty

I come to this particular beauty supply store ALL OF THE TIME! I usually experience nothing but greatness. But the past two times I went, I was disappointed. They installed some new credit card system so now they only allow you to pay in cash. Otherwise, your card will continue to get declined. My two most recent trips, my card was declined. I ended up going to DJs Beauty Supply and my card worked fine. Both times. Really disappointed. They should fix this issue, or else I will not be returning.

Unprofessional. Everytime i buy edge control or aphogee, its all taped up, i mean if try to take it off, the ingred, directions, gone! I also notice the consistency of the product is VERY different. In my opinion, they are tampering with it. Like thinning it out to sell more. Nothing else makes sense. If anyone knows the procedure to turn this in to the authorities, please let me know!

Staff was arguing with a customer who asked for change of a five dollar bill. Are they aware of how other customers perceive this? Prior to this incident I did a personal Boycott of this establishment for a year, because I felt that I was being watched too closely when shopping here. Now, I will go to DJs or other beauty supply stores so matter how inconvenient in distance it is for me. Never will I patronize this business again. Back in the 90s one of these inner city beauty supply stores treated there customers so poorly there was an organized well publicized Boycott that was effective in putting the establishment out of business. That seemed to get their attention.

I come here ALL the time but one day I was in there, this is when they had new workers, one of the guys thought it was ok to follow me around while I pushed my son around in his stroller. When I told the guy I felt discriminated against (I am a black woman) he asked was I still interested in buying. I said yes and he took the product from my hands and we went to the register. I never been SO hurt.
