Prior to its acquisition, this was a great service center. However, the quality and service has completely fell off after Bill Estes purchased this location. Not only did they attempt to avoid warranty covered repairs, they consistently missed maintenance issues that resulted in subsequent larger repair bills. Not surprisingly, those repairs were found to be not covered by the warranty. Wait times have increased and professionalism is diminished. Despite having purchased three new vehicles from Butler Toyota and using the service center for years, I will never return.
Really great experience. I’m traveling for work, need a loose body piece reattached. David had my car in and out in 40 minutes and didn’t charge me for what was basically a couple of bolts. Thank you!
We visited this location for an oil change. Dave helped us from beginning to end and he was amazing. The waiting area, the coffee/tea selection, and everyone checking in on us made this one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a service shop. Highly recommend and will definitely return in the future.
Dave was great in the service area. We were from out of town and needled repairs. Dave worked us right in and we were able to continue on our trip. Sammie was very helpful also. The facility was spotless and well run. Thank you!
I got the bait and switch. I was very clear on the phone, confirmed everything exactly and when I arrived, I confirmed it again. I needed a master key cut and programmed. There was no mistake. They completely understood and gave me an exact price. I passed several other dealerships to go there for their price. And they promised me 90 minutes. After an hour, they called me back to the service bay, gave me a song and dance, and raised the price by nearly $200. I got them down to a price match to the other dealers in town, but I will never, ever deal with this dealer again.
I have never been to this service department before and called to possibly set an appointment. I spoke to Debbie I wasn’t sure what my vehicle needed. I received a letter from the recall team and had questions. When I gave her my vin number she was very rude and she seemed like she didn’t want to help me.When I asked what the recall meant all she said was I would have to bring it in. I felt that she was very unprofessional. I was very displeased with the call and I’m not sure that is a place I would want to take my business. Her tone was very grouchy, she kept telling me I wasn’t listening to her when her answers weren’t clear. She sounded like she had better things to do than help me. I do not want to hear what you can give me so please do not contact me. Just thought you should know her customer service didn’t make me want to bring any business to you.
Randy Miles is a phenomal employee who has been working here for years who has been putting people of Indy get into solid affordable cars. If you want honesty and good service, ask for Randy Miles.
Hi ! Yesterday I visited the Bill Estes service center for brakes and rotors installation as advised by them on last service . I thought of getting it done yesterday and paid for rotors brakes & oil flush . I picked my car in evening and after driving for few miles I heard the same noise from rotors which I had earlier and I stopped to look at it . They have charged me for new rotors, Brakes and brakes oil flush however they have not replaced the rotors and scrubbed the rust to look like new which are rusted and clearly visible from rims .Now I doubt have they done the other work on my car or just charging the customers. These people are fooling customers by charging them and not getting the work done . Attaching photos
My vehicle had a confusing issue and required me to bring it back in for service three separate times. While I was frustrated about the repeated returns, the staff was always friendly and helpful and both Lawson and Mark, the manager, were very apologetic and helpful in dealing with the situation. The final time I brought it back, the vehicle stayed at the service center until the fix could be fully verified. They did supply me a loaner in the meantime. I was thankful for this as it didnt rush either them or me. My only criticism of that was that I had hoped this would be the procedure at the beginning and that my fix would have been verified the first two times. However, they made the best of a bad situation and took care of me.
Man Sami is life Savior and hes man of his words.i was taken care by him and his partners done grat job.Thank you
Chris Cary is a great guy very understanding. Rates for service are competitive
After making an appointment, for 4:30 I was told they dont check/honor their appointments and the mechanics leave at 5:00 anyway. The service department had my car for 2-days before looking at my car. (making me pay for a rental instead of telling me to bring it back in 2 days). I was not given any communication in those 2 days, I had to call the office to get a response from the service team, and finally received the update keep waiting. I was finally quoted $2900 for a torque converter (a part which costs $150-$600). I got it done for $1000 somewhere local. The only friendly customer service I received was a printed note with my receipt begging for 5-stars.
Usually a good experience, Sami always does an exemplary job taking care of us.
Great service. So much better than several years back. They worked with me and took care of me like good service should.
New itemized service recommendations for approval or denial texted to you while you wait feels more transparent. Friendly staff. There is no longer a dedicated Quiet Room for waiting customers, only a single waiting room with tvs.
I must say bringing my vehicle here and getting a tech to get it in was not a long process. The reason for 3 stars is my apt was at 845am and I came to see my my vehicle was making a weird noise. It took them a lil over 2 hrs to let me know they were not sure of the noise. They said they were unable to duplicate the noise. It would have been nice to test drive it with the tech to recreate the noise for him. Well the actual diagnosis was a maybe and the price for it to be repaired would be $2200. Really over priced. The place was clean they had a great clean lounge to wait in and the associates were welcoming. Overall the 2hrs wait and still no concrete info on what the noise is was very disappointing. I will be going to another repair tech.
I was able to have a rental while a factory recall was completed on my vehicle. Though my service advisor wasnt consistent, in the end everything that was promised was delivered. Im excited for the next service I have here.
Awesome staff Lia was my customer service rep she was cautious, dedicated to her job and knows how to handle her clients. I will recommend Bill Estes for your car service needs.
I am so grateful in 2020 when I receive Great Customer Service & it has been a while. But however, I was completely impressed with Adam from the service department. He called me 1st thing in the morning and walked me through the entire process. Not only did he give good information he also help me decide its time for a new vehicle... This Man deserves a raise! I am NOT easily impressed but Adam Ward did it!Thank you VERY MUCH FOR HAVING EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I questioned the need for the recommended maintenance and belts to be replaced based on my cars extremely low mileage. When Lia explained the probable condition of those parts based on the age of the car (15 years), I understood the need. She was friendly yet professional, thorough, considerate, polite, and very knowledgeable about my car, the parts and the services. Lia answered all my questions and provided the quality service that I expect from a dealer but have rarely experienced elsewhere. Thank you
Excellant, as always...!😎
Do not bring your car here for service.Terrible customer service. They allowed me to schedule an appointment online then told me after arriving and waiting 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge me that they were closing soon and would not honor my appointment. No apology, just excuses. An attempt to call was made, but no message was left, no text sent, no email.Last time I went I wanted over 3 hours for them to change my oil, even with a scheduled appointment.I thought Id give them another chance. My mistake. I wont make it again.
Had the best experience with Butler Toyota! Got my 2016 Camry SE at the beginning of March with the help of Victoria and I still absolutely love it!! If you are looking to buy a new vehicle and get great customer service the whole time Victoria is the one to go to. I will always be a loyal Toyota customer. Thank you Victoria & all the other employees for a great experience!
I dont know yet I hope they follow through this time the last time they didnt
Nice place. Always where I take my car, even though I didnt buy it there. I recommend going there for service.
Thank you Lia Wolfe,I went to the dealership with very little time I had lost my tire key in order to get my tires fixed. Lia Wolfe was extremly professional, and helpful. She helped us walk away with no charge and everything was super quick.
Professional service, professional communication. Very happy with the experience.
I have purchased 3 Camrys and had all of the services completed at this location. With the exception of a mix-up with my special refrigerant. I have had great experiences with Derrick in service and Scott in sales. Thanks Bill Estes Toyota?
I came in for my 5,000 mile service. Tire rotation and multi point inspection. No oil change. I was told 1 hour. I have been sitting here for 1.5 hours and went to ask what was going on. They had not even started working on my car yet. Forgot to mark me as a waiting customer.
Not too impressed with my first visit. Over 2 hrs. for an oil change and tire rotation, then the technician loses my paperwork, and doesnt even change sticker so I know when next oil change is due. The best part of the experience was the lady in the parts department, I give her a 5 stars review for her help.
I was having a terrible luck kind of week. My battery died on me last night. Managed to get it restarted to get it to autozone to get a battery. I had the battery replaced only for the battery terminal to break during the replacement. I was told I will need to replace the terminal and more than likely need to replace the cable too today if possible. A very expensive fix. In the mean time my car may stop starting as the terminal was barely holding on. I called the Toyota dealership service center and they said they couldnt get me in today, but first thing in the morning. On my way home from autozone I had to stop my car briefly. To my dismay my car wouldnt restart. A friend managed to get it restarted so I could drive it to the dealership and leave it overnight. But!, Brennen, at the Toyota Dealership Service Center listened to the problem and could just tell I needed a save card today. He said just maybe he could get my car in today since it was a bit slower than normal. True to his word he did! He saved me from having to uber home. My car was in and out. The service center managed to salvage my battery cable, replace the terminal and have my car fixed up in quick time. They even replaced my light on my license plate. Brennen also helped me with a coupon. Brennen and the mechanic turned my unlucky day and week into luck! It is so greatly appreciated. I will be a repeat customer because of Brennens effort to get my car fixed today.
Friendly, knowledgeable staff.
They cured the corollavirus.
The people are always nice and I have always had great service to my vehicle there.
They gave me an estimate of ~$450 to change out 6 spark plugs on my truck ($50 parts, $400 labor). I did the job myself in under half an hour with tools I already had. Pretty disappointing... they also replaced my timing belt and flushed the fluids. They did a good job, but the price was not competitive. Will not come back for service in the future.
I would not recommend going here unless your service requires something simple, such as an oil change. I noticed my 2008 Toyota 4Runner had been leaking gear oil all over the left rear when I drove across the country in December, so I decided to take it in, knowing that perhaps the axle seal had failed because of a bad wheel bearing - really the only reason it would fail, as 2 experts/family friends had informed me. The dealership proceeded to diagnose my vehicle as having only a broken axle seal but never investigated the wheel bearing until I confronted them - after calling them about 10x, mind you when they were supposed to get back to me. The axle seal itself is only ~$20, and they said my wheel bearing was fine, and were going to charge me ~$400 for the labor. My partner and I decided he would do the labor himself so we could get back to home 2000 miles away without being completely ripped off. Upon my return, I took my vehicle into another local shop, and they informed me that my wheel bearing was failing, and the axle seal broke again because of this. I am very displeased with the service I received here - still had to pay the $75 diagnostic fee just to know that the axle seal was broke...and I already knew that by observation of the gear oil coating my hub! My interactions with the service representative was also terrible, as he was disrespectful to my knowledge AND when I told him that we wanted the wheel bearing checked, and he said I never mentioned a wheel bearing. I always recommend the local small businesses, and they walked me through what was wrong and even gave me the parts that were broken so I could understand the issues. I even called this dealership, and the service manager seems uninformed about how these parts are arranged, because I discussed with him for about 30 minutes on the phone why an axle seal failing indicates a failing wheel bearing, but he begged to differ. Just crazy strange and I do not recommend going here.
2 HOURS for an oil change. Not just once, every time I come I make an APPOINTMENT so I don’t have to wait 2 HOURS. But every single time I still wait. The customer service is decent and Sami is always pleasant I must say. But it’ll be the last time I waste two hours here for an oil change.
We had an amazing experience yesterday at the Bill Estes Toyota service department formerly Butler Toyota. I arrived without an appointment with a problem that resulted from tires recently replaced by Butler. The manager and staff of the department came to the car and looked at the tires and decided it had to be diagnosed in terms of tire sensors. I had a limited amount of time and they immediately put me up to the head of the list. they continued to look up the records of what had been previously done. They efficiently service the car and I was able to get away and make my next appointment without any problems. A huge thank you to the service department at Bill Estes Toyota.
High quality service every time! I have been a member for years and I enjoy how they are respectful, ready to service every customer, and keep you updated via cell phone and in person about your car at the time of service!
Amazing customer service! Loved Lia.
I have never written a bad review in my life but I felt compelled to warn others because of my experience here. I bought my first car from them a few months ago and they were very kind and helpful upfront. They seemed to have my best interests in mind and offered a lot of perks for my money. Unfortunately they have not followed through with anything they promised. I was promised road side assistance with my warranty, yet when I tried to use it the number was a scam telling me I had won a $100 gift card for calling. My car didn’t have a manual or floor mats, the salesman said they would provide both if I came back another day. When I went by a few days later to fix the issue they informed us that the salesman no longer worked there and they couldn’t provide either for me. Yesterday night, I dropped my car off for service for a defective sun visor (with the promise that it would be done in the morning). It took them all day to even look at it and when they finally did they said it would be a $250 repair, even though it was a defect. I researched the repair and found it only costs $25 to do it yourself. I am really disappointed that I bought my car from them, because they do not have their customers best interests in mind, and will never do business here again. I urge others to find a more honest car dealership.
Brian is the service representative that everyone else should aspire to be! He made me feel welcome, and was as genuine as he was professional. I have found the only service center that will ever touch my Toyota vehicles. Thank you to the rest of the staff for ensuring my vehicle was properly maintained, and done so in a timely manner.
TL;DR: I had a wheel fall off after maintenance, and Butler Toyota and Scion conducted a thorough, and complete investigation before determining fault, and helped come to a resolution that was fair. Their service was exceptional through the whole process, and they did right by the customer.Long Version:I came in for normal maintenance for my Camry - a tire rotation, and oil change - before a 500+ mile round-trip. After having the maintenance finished, and setting off on the road in my car I noticed half-way through the trip a noise coming from my car that was not normal; it sounded as if something was slamming against the underside of my vehicle the entire drive. I pulled over to check it out, and found nothing. Given the fact I was unable to really stop for this trip, I kept driving. On my way back days later I continued to hear that noise, and after hitting a small pothole in the road my front driver side tire flew straight off. After reaching out to my insurance company to get towing, I (mistakenly) engage with them to try to work out a claim. While my insurance company took their time, I decided to reach out to Butler Toyota where I was serviced, and worked with a manager there to discuss what to do. After conducting their investigation, and discussing the situation, my car ultimately was fixed due to a mechanical issue during my tire replacement that was not caused by me. The damage caused by the wheel flying off my car while driving was repaired at no charge to me, and a rental car was provided while my car was being worked on.Over all, this was an excellent experience as the work done was exceptional, the service center provided fantastic support and communication, and my car was fixed.I highly recommend this location due to their integrity, and skill despite the situation that happened which caused this all.
I cant attest to Butler Toyota Service for much beyond my experience, as I wont be returning, but be wary with a new vehicle and their service warranty. If you have a tight budget like mine, every dollar counts. I bought a (cheaper) new car hoping to bypass the hassle of service for a while since I, thankfully, dont have to drive very often. I have a 7000 mile corolla that had a loose piece in the back. They refused on the premise of Ive never seen that bad from the factory, you must have done something. Had to fix it myself, took 30 minute, it wasnt very difficult. But thats exactly why I bought a new car to begin with, not to hassle with this. My take away is that any dealership that is going to try and hardball over 70 dollars tells me everything I need to know. Be wary of buying a new car assuming theyll take care of it. They seem to be one of those dealerships that tries to worm out of such arrangements as much as possible. If theyre going to hardball over 70 dollars I cant imagine what theyll do with real issues. If money is a concern, find another place thats going to actually work with you. Not one that made me waste an hour of my precious paid time off to be forced to deal with the problem anyways.
Probably the slowest, worst service department in the city. Derrick was a tumbleweed in the wind the entire time. Never available. Didnt keep us up to date on service. I had to call several times for my own updates and even then, I didnt get answers. Said it would take 2 hours. It took 6.5 No apologies. Nothing in return other than excuses. Gouged us financially. The receptionist Tammy was beyond rude; she has no sympathy or care towards you as a human. We will never come here ever again. Was so much better as Butler.
Excellent service and good value.
Recently had the side view mirror on the driver side of a Toyota Camry hit by a passing vehicle. The mirror came apart and there was no damage, but we were having trouble putting the mirror back together again. We called and then stopped by the Service Department meeting Mike Berry at the service desk. Mike took a few minutes of his own time, helped us reassemble the mirror on the spot, and we were on our way. Thats great customer service!
Great experience and excellent customer service with the service department at Bill Estes Toyota. They are cost competitive on services like oil changes and they even researched a minor electrical issue for me at no charge. Although my Toyotas rarely require any major service, its nice to know that the service team at Bill Estes will take care of our needs without trying to upsell us a bunch of unnecessary extras. They did give me some options for services that were due but no pressure. Overall it was a great experience which is why I decided to write this review. Ryan was easy to work with, responded quickly and professionally, and made sure that my issues were all resolved.
Wonderful service from both Mike and Connor! I went in without a scheduled appointment and they were really quick and efficient. I was in and out in less than an hour
Positive experience with the sales team!
Easy to make appointments, friendly staff, and timely service. Two waiting rooms, one quiet and one with a tv. Quality of work is consistently high.
I usually do all my own service however the pricing here is fair and the service advisors tell you their recommendations on items that need taken care of and are not pushy on them or any extra services. I am pretty knowledgeable and hate it when some service centers tell you something is absolutely required when its not. They even tell you to maybe hold off till the next oil change. They seem pretty honest and will get all my business.
Excellent service.
Good to see some familiar faces in the service department. Ive always been satisfied with service especially when there are specials! I had them oil change my Honda Odyssey day after they serviced my 08 Lexus.
Butler has been a pleasure for the 2 plus decades I have shopped & maintained cars there. Disability access has never, ever been an issue. They have several separate waiting rooms including one office oriented, some traditional space, to one specific quiet room. They will take the time to explain any thing you need. Highest confidence.
Glad to do business with Brennen, great communicator and really helped me with my vehicle. Thanks again Brennen!
Made appointment for service on Monday. . Told them going on trip and wanted to make sure van was safe. Asked how long. Derrick said 1 1/2 hr and he would let me know if work needed to be done. After 2 1/2 hrs I went looking for Derrick. Said it needed new brakes and various other things. No apology for time waiting. I Said would look over and return because had appt. Expressed disappointment in communication and all Derrick said was that he was busy. Arrived home... looked over paperwork but noticed it was not my name nor vehicle on estimate. Called two times and Derrick finally answered and said he was going to call and tell me wrong estimate (6hrs later) No apology given. Asked for Derrick to email estimate to my husband. It is Friday & still have not received it. Called again and emailed to make sure he had correct email. Time to go to another service center. Used Butler Toyota service for years without difficulties but I guess service is no longer about helping customers!!!!!
After seeing a particularly nice Certified used Camry Hybrid advertised for sale, I phoned Butler Toyota-Scion to see if the vehicle was still available. When I stopped by later to take a test drive, I was pleased to see they were expecting me. The vehicle was ready, running and waiting. Salesman, Matt Brown, introduced himself and we went through all the particulars of the vehicle. I was impressed by his knowledge and professionalism. After a test drive and more discussion, we settled on a price. I was quickly approved for financing, completed the paperwork and within an hour or so, it was all done. My only problem was I now had two vehicles to get home. Matt Brown followed me home and personally delivered my new vehicle. Everyone was friendly and helpful. A most pleasant buying experience.
Its been 1.5 hours and there has been no change in the status of the work they said they would do. So far Im only checked in. I only signed up initially for a $9.95 oil change. Will rethink future service.
Nice employees and great services
Butler Toyota and Ron Scott were very helpful with the all the variables I was examining in cars. We found just the right car that fit the size and price I needed. Ron was very patient as I test-drove multiple cars and went over little details again and again. I love the car I bought and I will definitely shop at Butler Toyota in the future.
I met with Matt while walking the car lot looking at Tundras. He was very helpful, friendly and appropriately interested in providing details about the 2014 Tundra. As I got closer to making my decision to lease, Bella assisted on Matts behalf in finding a Tundra with the particular Tundra features that I was interested in, and in putting together a lease proposal. Matt finished the deal with finding the truck with my final color and feature selections at a surprisingly affordable lease, and located at another dealership. On short notice, Matt got truck delivered within a day, and had it in mint shape. The signing of the lease and taking possession of the truck was the smoothest and quickest that I have ever experienced - yet all the needed details were covered. Randy Miles was thorough and efficient with the contractual details. All in all, I cant say enough about the positive experience with the good folks at Butler Toyota.Thank you!Terry
My husband and I went in to Butler Toyota to test drive a new Toyota 4Runner and had Will G. as our sales rep. We had a great experience and Will was able to negotiate our monthly payment to best fit our budget. He worked really hard to track down the vehicle that we wanted, even though it was snowing heavily at the time. We also got a good trade in value for our 4Runner that we traded in. Highly recommend Butler Toyota! We love our new 4Runner!
They took very good care of our car, we got spoiled by Butler Toyota, now its Bob Estes. Was a little concerned about what service we would receive, they did wonderful!
I think this is the first time I’ve ever had a repair on my vehicle that cost less than the estimate. Special recognition for service specialist Mike K for being straight up with me (on two separate visits now!) about what work genuinely needed done and what was discretionary and for helping me out on price, as well as the service manager, another Mike, for making sure I got my vehicle when I needed it and for making arrangements for a rental car (without me asking about it) just incase it wasn’t. Both guys made time to hear my questions and concerns even when the place was slammed with customers and phone calls. Plan on bringing my vehicle/future vehicles back here for services and repairs regardless of where I buy them
These guys were ok for service on our Sienna. I had a service person that was fairly rude and tried to pull one over on me. I realized this, called my husband and suddenly the recommendations were not all that crucial 🙄. We decided to switch after that. We thought butler service was decent until we switched to Ed Martin Toyota in noblesville. Then we realized ed Martin is 4 star service, butler is about 2. It is worth the drive to noblesville to Ed Martin. Once we switched Ed Martin found a recall that butler told us was fixed, but it actually was not. There were a few other issues for recalls that weren’t done all the way, so they fixed those as well with no charge to us. They are leaps and bounds better and despite being further away from my home, Ed Martin will provide a ride if necessary where Butler did not. Drive to noblesville! It’s about 15 min away. It is so worth it. They are better in so many ways!!!!
Ron Rangel-Scott did a great job having the paperwork organized and ready to go for my new Highlander. He was very professional and organized. He did a thorough job of walking me through the car and showing how everything worked. The finance part went smoothly and was informative. The dealership was so nice and my kiddos had a safe area to play. I definitely recommend this dealership!
I asked for a routine inspection (approx. $60) and they serviced my rotors without my consent then forced me to pay an extra $250. When I called them out on it the manager raised his voice at me and said they aligned my rotors and will not refund me. After escalating up their business they called me back and admittted they were in the wrong.
Do yourself a favor and dont get a car from here. Every time I took my car in something else went wrong with it shortly thereafter due to whatever it is they did to it. Save yourself the trouble and get your car from a competent dealer.Update after they became Bill Estes Toyota: they still get 1 star (I wish I could give 0 stars or negative stars). This is quite literally the absolute worst place you could buy a car (and sadly its slight better than when it was Butler.) I want nothing to do with another Toyota, but unfortunately my lease had too many miles, so we pretty much had to buy it. First of all, the people at the front looked at us like we had 10 heads when we said we were there to buy our lease. Secondly, every time we had called we were told something different, so we needed to go to the front desk (which is just as incompetent as those who answer the phones.) Thirdly, they should stop putting cars in the building since the car alarms go off literally every 10 minutes. Fourth, we were not doing anything special, yet it somehow took 3 times as long as when we bought a car from a competent dealer. Fifth, their finance guy was excessively shady. He kept trying to sell us scam warranties, then finally backed off when we told him straight up that we werent going to buy the scam and how the other warranty we had from them was an utter scam (he did not even try to defend the company...). He also told us our interest rate would be 4.5%, but then it was 5% when we went to sign and he never even told us... that is fraud. He also made our down payment $500 and the loan length 6 years without even consulting us first... How shady... Do NOT do business with these thieves. I have a feeling all of these positive reviews are from the owner and employees...People need to sue and get this fraudulent scam shut down. Oh, and dont bother trying to call the service department. They hate phone calls apparently and will just hang up on you. Remember, as the customer, you are their biggest inconvenience.
I took my car in for regularly scheduled warranty maintenance. Service was professional and efficient. Had gone to a different Toyota dealership for previous routine care and after waiting an hour and a half for tire rotation and routine inspection under warranty decided it was time to try Butler. I am glad I did.
Deceptive and fraudulent billing. The service department attempted to pull a fast one on my wife by overcharging her for labor by $525 for replacing a PCV Valve that was quoted at $78. Thankfully, she caught their billing error and they reversed the charge and charged her the right amount. I would not recommend this service center and will not be returning.*Edit* My wife received a phone call apology from the service member this morning. We appreciate them owning the mistake and making amends.
Sammi the service representative is awesome. He does a great job. He is so patient kind and thorough. Hes a pleasure to work with.
Our salesman, Bob McCormick, answered our questions and put us at ease. The car was priced right and was pristine clean! Butler had given it the 160 point inspection and did a lot of pre-sale expensive improvements. Sometimes car salesmen make me feel pressured and uneasy, but Bob was helpful and honest and personable. His knowledge of the cars and the business were a real asset for us. Thanks, Bob!
When my car wouldnt start I called and they were able to get me in quickly and even helped me find a rental car. My car was done way earlier than expected and everyone I spoke to was extremely helpful.
Three weeks ago I called the customer service to set up an appointment to fix the recall passenger airbag. A lady answered my call and told me that she will send a notice to service/part department. She also told me that someone will call me to either set up an appointment or to let me know that they will order the part. But then nothing happened. I called the customer service a day later. The same lady answered my call and said people were busy and I had to be patient. She was very rude and irresponsible. I waited another week and then made a call again. A man answered my call and told me he will be happy to order the part for me. And he also said I will be contacted when the part is available. But you know what, now it has been three weeks and nothing happened. No one gave me a call. After losing all my patience, yesterday I went to another Toyota dealer and got the airbag fixed in half day.Overall very bad experience with Butler Toyota. Dont understand why the lady and the man wanted to reject customer. If you dont want to do business with customers, then we will find another dealership who wants to.
Taking delivery of my Toyota Avalon was a pleasant, efficient experience in every way. The car was clean on delivery and every feature of the vehicle was explained in detail by Mo, our sales rep. I have found zero defects on delivery. I would highly recommend Toyota to anyone interested in a new car and at the same time, Butler Toyota as a dealer.
This is my third purchase from the dealership and by far the best experience! We met Andy Skinner through the online tool, he found what we wanted, met our trade in needs and finished the deal in no time! A few clicks, a couple of emails and we had our new car. Andy was personable and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable.
Excellent Service
Jim Tucker was very pleasant and helpful. If you are looking to buy a vehicle, Jim is the man you want to work with! He made our buying experience a positive one. I couldnt be happier with my new Avalon!
I’ve been a customer since 2015 and every time I go there to get the service done, hasn’t taken me more than an hour. Quick and efficient. WiFi services at the customer lounge could be improved.
I recently bought my Camry from Jim who was great to work with and Max the Finance Manager answered all my questions. Overall great experience. I would tell anyone looking for a car to check out Butler Toyota and Scion. Sincerely, loyal customer.
I had my car serviced here 3 times this year and will never go back. Attached are the multipoint inspections I was given each time and even after meeting with the head of the service department, you will notice that they never improved in consistency. The only work ever done between visits was new tires and I go every 5,000 miles as recommended. After my break pads suddenly went from being in the green to being in the red, I went to another dealership and found out there was nothing wrong with my breaks. I would never recommend this shop!
I test drove a car at Butler Toyota, and even though I ended up purchasing a different vehicle somewhere else, I had a positive experience there. I submitted a request online to schedule the test drive, and Amber the online sales manager was quick to respond and let me know my test drive was scheduled with August. When we arrived on my scheduled day August was with another customer, but he let us test drive the car by ourselves, which I really appreciated. Unlike my experiences at some other dealerships (including another Butler location), the staff seemed friendly, laid-back, and not pushy.
I like how when they find something that needs to be fixed there is a no pressure attitude describing the issue. They inform you of the problem and then leave the choice to you
Honest, helpful staff and inviting facility. Considered both a used car and new car with sales staff being informative and positive when showing me both options. Purchased a 2015 end of year Avalon. Terrific auto at a great price.
They quoted me the wrong price for four tires for my Prius c, and ended up charging me an extra $128 after the work was done. They only had one tire option and they were way too expensive. Theyre in the middle of transition to Bill Estes, didnt seem to know the processes and systems, and took 3 hours to put on four tires when I had a scheduled appointment. I never shouldve agreed to the ridiculous price in the first place. I will no longer return for any new service from them.
We bought a Honda Pilot a year ago after going here to look at the highlander and no one came out to even speak to us. Went looking again today as our needs have changed and again Butler staff did the same thing again. No other customer in site no contact at all. Not a single person even said Hello.
Bob McCormick was a huge help today! Thanks Bob!
Brought car in for service. Spent over $300 in various repairs.I always mark my tires before service because I question most stealerships (on rubber not wheels). They never rotated my tires.Cannot trust them to perform honestly.I told service manager and they said bring it back. All they did was question me and accuse me of lying. They ended up rotating my tires and acted like they were doing me a favor. Hours of my time waster bringing it back. Who knows if they even did the other things I paid for???Please take to another service center.
They’re quick, friendly, and considerate! Sami was the rep who I worked with most recently and his kind demeanor was very much appreciated on a Saturday morning! I will definitely be back for any car servicing needs. Thank you!
Great experience. Mike helped me out had an issue with the windshield wiper it was a lose nut. Quick fix highly recommend.
Ive taken my Toyota here 3 times now. Twice for repairs and once for a recall. The experience is always great and the work done is good. The prices are fair but could be more competitive.
Service is good. They said it would take about 1 hour. It took about 1 hour 20 minutes.
We worked with Bill and he was very personable and easy to talk to. We came in a week ago and looked then stopped by yesterday and spoke with Frank. Frank asked if we had already spoken with someone and we said we had so he went and got Bill for us. He spent about two hours with us. We took the Highlander for a test drive and purchased one a little after 6 PM last night! Thanks so much for answering our questions and taking time to get to know what I really wanted in a vehicle. Sincerely, Kelly (aka Mimi) and Jeff Meyer of Carmel, Indiana
Jim Kincaid was absolutely wonderful to work with. We visited the dealership to test drive the Toyota Camry Hybrid and the Toyota Prius V. We had already visited several other dealerships for other manufacturers previously. Jims knowledge of the Toyota product line and his ability to explain the features on the cars was exceptional. We were torn between the two vehicles so we left that evening with no pressure. He informed us when he would be available and we parted ways. We returned on his next work day and purchased our car because, 1.) we felt the Camry was the right vehicle for us, 2.) we felt the price of the vehicle was reasonable, and 3.) we enjoyed the sales experience we had with Jim.I would recommend Butler Toyota to any friend and especially recommend Jim as your sales person.
Great service from Adam Ward!!
What an Excellent experience! Starting with a phone conversation with Jim Kincaid to our Sales Professional Jesse Mattysse who went out of his way to satisfy our needs. Jesse came back to the dealership after his normal shift and assisted through the entire purchase. Malcolm the Finance Manager was extremely easy to work with and left no questions unanswered. I highly recommend these gentlemen to anyone looking to buy a new or used car from Butler Toyota/Scion.
I drove here from Ohio, and I am glad I did. Lauren did a great job helping me. The whole staff is nice and very professional. I recommend Butler Toyota.
Always easy to work with. They never do anything without giving a clear quote. And 4 waiting rooms!
Very poor experience at this location, I’ve brought my car in twice for electronic issues and upon picking it up the issues weren’t resolved or they created other issues. This last time I had to have my alternator and battery replaced (charged over $1,400 for services). They had my car for 5 days, and upon picking it up had another set of electronic issues. Do the technicians not check over their work? Or do they just over charge customers and create more issues so they can do it to you all over again.Do yourself a favor and find another location for your servicing needs, I would not recommend toyota butler to anyone.
