Check in was simple and easy. The wait time was expected to be about 1.5 hours but they got my windshield replaced in an hour. The windshield looked great. It rained the next day and there were no leaks. Great job guys, keep it up!

They said that the side window would be available in a week sent a text for the appointment. We show up for the appointment and the window is on back order. . We have know idea when the window will be available. Not to mention the guy that was there was kinda rude. Not happy at all. So we still have plastic . Thinking about going somewhere else.

I had a small chip in my windshield and got a quote for $133. I now owe $733 to replace the entire windshield because Safelite cracked it when they were working on the repair. Because you cant speak to a person on the 1-800 #, I had to make an appointment across the state just to speak to someone 9 days later only to find out I would be charged for the entire replacement. I would not recommend this company!

Great service! In and out in about an hour which was at least 30 minutes less than promised... Glass was identical to the OEM, same part number & manufacturer, with the exception of the vehicle makes logo. Technician, Kareem, was helpful in answering my questions as he delivered the car back to me. Brigid, front desk coordinator, was extremely helpful in answering all of my pre-installation questions and concerns.

The windshield on my Suburban will need to be replaced. I planned to take it to Safelite because its the only conveniently located glass shop and its a national brand. I saw multiple poor reviews about how Safelite doesnt use human phone operators. I called with a question and to confirm this and spent 3 minutes answering automated questions only to be told to go to their FAQ page. There was no option to get a representative. If all goes well this may be fine but if I have a problem or even a simple question later there is no reasonable recourse. For this reason Ill go elsewhere.

Windshield installed less than 6 months ago has more than 20 small chips in it. They claim I was pelted by rocks. Yet there is no damage to the paint anywhere and no major rock chips in the glass. This is defective material that they refuse to do anything about. Would not even contact the manufacturer to file a claim. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

My insurance company set up an appointment with Safelite to replace my windshield. Prior to contacting my insurance carrier, I received a quote of $330 but Safelite charged my insurance company right at $100 more. My first appointment was made for Monday and they called Monday morning to cancel and rescheduled for Thursday. The technician came on Thursday and replaced my glass under shelter at my work. When I went to leave for the day, I realized my rear view mirror was looking at the roof of my car and that he left mud all over my carpet as well as my seat. I had to drive to the Safelite location 20 minutes away to have my rear view mirror adjusted and also spoke to the manager, Nick, about the mud in my car. Nick said they didn’t have paper to cover the floor but the technician should have used his vacuum and then walked away. I guess I will have pay someone to clean my car. I would NEVER recommend Safelite as there are so many better options out there.

Heck no! You should give me my money back for the job you did. You installed a windshield on my 1996 Jeep Cherokee a couple weeks ago. The tech did not install the rubber around the windshield correctly, did not clean the windshield, and left the rubber shavings from the old windshield. I know the Jeep is not new and is just my work vehicle, but you shouldnt handle a customers vehicle like that. I have multiple vehicles just to let you know and with the poor job you did, you will not be touching any of my other ones.

I will update this if/when I have the work done. However, I have tried for 3 days to reach someone for help and the only actual person I got on the phone told me I needed to call somewhere else. When I called there, they said everything is being done online. I have an issue that I would like to ask someone about because I am not even sure its something you do but all I can do is get a quote and make an appointment for glass repair online... my glass is not broken or chipped, the trim is. I do not want to drive to your location and put any of us at risk if I do not have to. Why can I not speak to someone on the phone?! Where has customer service even gone?!*Thanks for the response but it really isnt helpful since I still cannot speak to someone regarding what I may or may not need to have done. Unless I am to put all of my questions and information into a Google review, making an appointment online where my only options are for chipped or cracked glass, for a service you apparently do not offer on a warranty I do not have because the glass is the original glass... it all seems like a waste of my time when all I want is customer service. Dont take your vehicle to safelite. There first attempt to replace my windshield was a failure. They failed to insure OEM windshield was in good condition prior to cutting out my damaged wind shield. They then put in an aftermarket one. Had me make a new appointment to replace it with OEM part. When they replaced aftermarket part with OEM part I noticed wind shield was damaged on the top driver side corner of glass. I then called safelite and made a new appointment. On appointment date they insisted it was damage from a rock. The glass looks clearly damaged from installation. The damage was clearly caused by a very sharp object either a tool or they hit the corner on something when transporting it. Manager or supervisor did not even offer a repair. Guy said damage was not covered under warranty work. He did offer a wind shield replacement at full cost. When I asked to see there post installation video or pictures, he just said I cant let you see them.What a joke and insult!

Had my windshield replaced few months ago on my 2017 sonata, costed around 300$ dont remember exact price. Decided to wait on giving review right away. Scheduled my appointment. Spent there about an hour total. Half hour wait before they took it to the shop and half hour took them to replace it. They did pretty good job. Just one thing, had some dust and some dirt all over the hood, roof probably from dirty tarts they used to cover the hood to protect it. But besides that no complaints. I would recommend that place to get you windshield replaced.

Ive taken 3-4 vehicles to this Safelite location in the past 2 months. While making an appointment by telephone can be a bit trying since you are calling a nation wide number, once the appointment is made the process of getting a repair done is pretty painless. If you are in a hurry, taking to the vehicle in is quicker than scheduling an on sight repair. Happily Ive had little trouble setting appointment (s) and had good, quick repairs done by very knowledgeable repair techs. Would I take my personal vehicles to to the is Safelite location? ubetcha I would even though I live in a different part of town.

Good service with fair pricing and easy scheduling. I appreciated the ease of drop off and pickup and the text notifications surrounding the process. They were able to calibrate the lane guidance / collision detection system in my vehicle, though the website and national sales representatives gave me differing information. No steps for entry but also no power door so ok for strollers / wheelchairs. Small waiting area, plenty of parking.

I had some issues setting up an apportionment on line and waited for 20 mins on hold when I called in. Finally got the repair scheduled. Tech comes out said we should replace, no biggie if that’s the best solution. A different tech comes out to replace my windshield. A week later it’s pouring down rain and my interior is soaked. It’s dripping from the dome light and down my passenger side. Took it into Safelite today and the manager was great. All the customer service reps were very helpful and apologetic even though they didn’t cause the issue. They replaced my windshield again, at no additional cost, told me they’d cover my car getting detailed, and if any electrical issues happen they’ll cover that as well. Lifetime warranty as long as I own the vehicle. The new tech and manager are honestly the only reason I feel okay after this whole situation. They definitely took care of me and didn’t make me fight for a resolution. Mistakes happen, I get it, but I appreciated how much they owned up to it and wasted no time resolving my issue.

I had 2 cracks in my windshield, and it was my first auto claim. The technician Pedro was amazing. Called prior to heading out to make sure we were still on for him to come out, called again when he was here (at my request so I didnt have to leave my door unlocked), and called me when he was finished to come check the work hed done and to go over warranty information. He was thorough and explained everything in detail. Ensured I understood everything before leaving. He was professional, kept eye contact and was polite. What an amazing first experience! Well no matter the vehicle the results are the same they just cant seal a windshield right the first time. Ive used several different locations over there years for my semi trucks to my cars ends the same with a water leak of air leak.To the location on 86th st I have a serious air leak on a windshield they replaced which Im sure its leaking water into the dash area that I cant see. So I brought my car in for a windshield crack. When I arrived in rear by the locations garage I witnessed a worker burning rubber in the garage using a customers vehicle ! Talk about having fun while you work.I checked my car in anyways I will admit they finished quickly and I thought everything was fine, I was instructed not to wash it for three days to let the windshield set. I followed those instructions to a tee. A week goes by and I take a short road trip to Chicago I didnt have the radio on but all I could hear was road noise coming from the front. I called to let them know and they tell me give them 4 days and someone will come out. I explained that doesnt work for me because my car is parked in a secured lot and they cant access it. Their solution was in 8 days to bring it in.

I went in because I had a massive crack through my front windshield. They did a great job with replacing the windshield. When they replace it they have to keep your doors open which is totally understandable. I go to pick up my car and the battery is completely dead (a nice man helped me jump my car that worked there so I was very thankful for that). My car also has a frameless door which mean that when I open my door my window rolls down less than an inch so that the glass does not rub against the rubber, then it rolls up automatically as well when you shut the door. Well I noticed when I got in my car that the windows were not rolled up the whole way but I figured they left them like that for whatever reason. But then I got home and they rolled down but did not roll back up. the morning of the window replacement they worked fine and there were no issues. Then when I pick up my car my battery is dead and my windows are not working properly. I called to get to the bottom of this because I am not at fault for my windows not working when I go to pick up my car and I had not had it all day. They pretty much told me that they were not able to help me because they dont do anything with the side windows they only replaced the windshield. My question to them was Why, this morning when I drove my car here everything was working fine but when I pick my car up the windows are not working correctly and Brigitte told me they had nothing to do with the side of the car, and that was it...they didnt help me figure it out or anything. Everyone I spoke to was very nice but they were not willing to help something that happened at their shop.

Went there for hopefully quick fix on a chip in my window and they made it worse. Its now a spider crack about 2 inches around that started out around a quarter of an inch. The machine that they put it on to inject the resin made it worse they said. Customer service seemed extremely professional. They quoted me a unnerving price for a new windshield. It was recommended by the insurance company because it was such a small thing. I could have bought the resin on Amazon for 20 bucks and it would have lasted at least a year. Thats what my father did to his windshield. I was instructed that it was safe to drive like that because it was in a lower part of the windshield. But should definitely get it replaced in the near future. Well for the 300 plus dollars that they quoted me I think Ill drive it like that for as long as I can. I researched online and there other companies that can get what they call lesser quality windshields for a little over $100 cheaper. Just absurd, they charged my insurance company $60 for something that they made worse. Of course it didnt cost me anything but they were trying to get a new windshield out of me. My insurance deductible is 500 so either way Im screwed.To the owner that replied below. The repair was never done at all. Only attempted, and immediately made worse. Still billed the insurance around $60. The tech stated the pressure of your machine did it. It went from a tiny quarter of an inch chip to a two inch spider crack! You are under the assumption that the resin was applied, And the repair was done, It was not. Just left with a now cracked windshield. In all honesty I think you should probably replace it.

I just got back from Safelite and was very pleased with my experience. Yesterday afternoon our rear passenger window was busted out by some punk. We were able to get our car in today at 11am for replacement. I brought my car in at 1030 and was greeted by an employee who had my paperwork in his hand as if he were waiting specifically for me. He pulled the car back early and when it was all said and done I left at 1120am. The less-than-1-hour wait was very nice. They had a waiting room but I chose to sit in the main lobby where there were two very comfortable leather seats. I think that was the best part about the whole experience, only waiting less than 1 hour in a comfy chair! We have a cracked windshield so I know for sure who I am going to for replacement. I would without a doubt recommend Safelite to anyone needing a window repair or replacement!

He arrived early, he was kind and courteous, and he took the time to explain the process to me as I watched. The repair was performed quickly, and the results were impressive. I visited the Safelite Repair/Replace shop on West 86th St. to repair what I believed to be a faulty window regulator.After disassembling the door panel, to my surprise, the technician pointed out that the regulator was ok, the culprit ended up being a small broken plastic retainer and a misaligned window track.In minutes he replaced the retainer and aligned the window track.But the largest surprise was at checkout when he said, no charge!.Wow!As a disabled senior citizen, its kind of hard to surprise me. My experience with Safelite was tremendous, courteous and professional.Please consider Safelite if/when you incur windshield or window damage.

I work in customer service so i know how hard it is dealing with costumers. I make it a point to be very nice to all workers. Dealing with them has been the worst experience ever. I am still waiting on my window. I had an appointment they came and told me they didnt have it. I had appointments made and when i call to check on it i keep being told they havent even ordered it yet so they are confused why i had an appointment. I have talked to 5 or 6 people and only one person has been nice at all and I think his name was Aaron. The rest have been very mean and rude. If i recall one was named Tracy. I will never go through them again.

Leonard was incredibly professional. He was very honest about the damage and the options available. My crack was bad enough that a full replacement was probably warranted; however, the cost of a new windshield for my Audi A5 was close to $1400. I asked him if I opted to try to fix the crack, knowing it may be a wasted $140, would he do all he could to save the windshield. After about an hour, three times longer than usual because of his going above and beyond to salvage it, he fixed the crack and bought me some time and saved me a ton of money. I appreciate him and highly recommend the business.

Had been putting off replacing my extremely cracked windshield on my 2002 Honda Civic EX coupe. Nathan arrived in the estimated time window on an extremely hot Friday afternoon. I called on July 14th after my windshield was damaged from a rock on the highway. The person I spoke with scheduled a replacement for a week out because they were busy. Due to a cloudy day, I had to reschedule for the 31st for fear of rain. On the 31st, the technician came out with after market glass for my one year old car. I told him I didn’t want it and called to get the factory glass installed. After calling four or five times, I still have yet for anyone to call me. I have no idea what happened and don’t understand how it takes so long for them to schedule a replacement. It’s been six weeks and I have yet to hear anything about my status. Three days ago I called and was told someone would reach out the next day (Wednesday ). They have been extremely slow and their customer service is a let down.*As an update it is now 8/30 and still do not have my windshield replaced nor has anyone called me back. I spoke to a CS rep on Monday who told me to take my referral number and go someplace else to have them fix the glass for me. My new car is still waiting for OEM glass which you have to request.

They did a great job on my shattered rear window but they told me it would be 1-1/2 to 2 hrs and I was there for nearly 4 hours without explanation. They did discount my bill by $10 for the inconvenience and my lost time. Not exactly enough but I didnt complain and it was their own suggestion so it was enough to let me know they realized they took much too long. Staff very friendly and facilities clean and nice. The technician, was very nice on the phone. Upon his arrival things started to change. He spoke very fast and never made eye contact. About 15 minutes, I came into my garage where he was working just to place a heater so he could be warm. I went back into the house. Approximately 15 minutes later, I came back outside to check on things and the progress. He then said he didnt like me checking on him every 5 minutes. He said I have great reviews and Im not going to steal anything or break anything. He just kept repeating the same thing over and over and never made eye contact. I told him, it was my house, my garage, if I felt the need to come out to check on your progress, I am well in my rights as a customer. I informed him that I never once eluded to the fact that I was concerned that he was going to steal something. If I was, he would of never let him into my garage. I told him, just continue to work and let me know when you are done. He turned and said whatever. I said excuse me?? He said I said ok. He did not say ok, he said whatever. Two totally different words. I told him, that since he felt uncomfortable he could leave and I will get some one else here. He said no, and starting talking about his reviews and that he was not going to steal anything. This was very unprofessional and I hope it will be addressed. I thought safelite was a really good company until recently when my wife had an appointment for a windshield replacement while I was at work. Not only did the technician do a half completed job, forcing her to have to drive to one of there locations that was fairly unsafe. He also decided to text my wife’s personal phone asking her personal questions and harassing her. I called to speak to the manager and find out why this happened and what they are training their employees on but I never heard back from anyone. This is highly upsetting and will not be using or recommending this company for anything else!

Technician damaged the rear view mirror bracket and didn’t tell me. He put the mirror back up without securing it, causing it to fall off when I got into the car the next day. A new mirror had to be ordered, causing me not to be able to drive the car for what appears to be at least a week. Still waiting for the new mirror and bracket.The technician also did not clean the inside of the window as he was supposed to do. Left a big smear that looked like a greasy head mark.

Save your self $140! Buy a DIY kit from Autozone and the outcome will be so much better if you follow the instructions!They skip all the preparation steps and apply the resin on top of the crack. The result is that crack is only covered with resin and nothing will prevent the crack to spread.

The work was done ell and the people are nice, but dont plan on them being done ahead of time or mainly on time. While work is of quality, time is wasted. I was told it would take one hour, then two. And it wound up taking over three hours. Definitely not how I wanted to spend my time.
