This is one of the worst company that I ever went to. They are not descriptive about anything they offer, I booked a truck for a test drive for a deposit of 1,000 dollars, and when I did not like the truck I booked obviously because the truck had defects and was not in good condition to buy, I never got my deposit back. Person named Stephen Dunkin, refused to pay me back my deposit for a truck I did not buy due to bad conditioning and had a very bad attitude while dealing with my situation. Worst customer service for sure. They advertised the trucks for being in good condition but after test drive there were couple malfunctions were found that were not mentioned anywhere such as main seal motor, head valve cap damage, etc

Truck gets work done on electrical, but they didnt ask about the air problem they found. Put it back in line to get worked on, the next morning I get a call they cant find the truck. Once they find the truck, they realize they lost the key. Guess they better cut a new key since they are the ones that lost it! This is why I will go to Fyda.

One star review is for your listening abilities. You wrote up that a blown tire caused us to have to replace our tire pressure monitor when we told you that the monitor came apart and was letting air out of our tire we had to have pulled into a shop they opened it up to find out what was wrong and found a broken monitor in pieces pictures time stamped had to put back together they inspected and said nothing else was wrong well either that shop didn’t hear it up properly and we had no idea because the monitor was gone or there was a problem with the rim of the tire they didn’t do their job properly 200 miles later the tire blew and we had to have the rim and tire replaced we brought The truck to Stoops to have a new monitor put in they had it taken to a vendor because they don’t do tires we asked that they have the vendor fill the tire to the cold temperature on the tire which says 123 when we picked it up the tire only had 106 in it when I asked to have the write up change to show what actually happened they said they couldn’t change a closed out our O someone else walked in and the tech turn to ask them if they could change it I had to explain the thing all over and his response was well the monitor was in the tire right yes we don’t do tires 🤦🏼‍♀️Also steering wheel was left Griese seat was left full of dust and the tech ran our tractor up into the grass leaving evidence in the bumper 😒

My truck came in with an electrical problem and the DT12 not shifting. A week and 4200.00 later.(they told me the truck was ready). truck still has the same problem, stoops misdiagnosed at my expence. They also told me the truck didnt have the fuse cover on the sam chasis, but their mechanic actually broke the tabs taking it off, i know because they made the mistake of leaving the broken cover in my truck trying to get my money back so i can take it some where else.. should have read the reviews before coming here... beware owner ops.. dont come here they will take your money and not care about you. Maybe thats why they require you to pay upfront, so that if youre not happy with the repairs, oh well youve already paid.

This location is busy.Writers will write the truck for service on exactly the issue that you mention.I had forgotten to add a different issue, they explained to me that it requires a different tech therefore I had to wait for the tech to come available.One issue I had to come back because repair failed. Shop replaced the defective part.Each time, I had to wait in line like evreyone else.Yes, I had to come back to repair a fail.Yes, I had to repeat my issue but each time I was treated with respect and went through the same process.Tech was respectful and careful in our truck, keeping it clean as he worked.Kuddos on keeping this location clean.To Stoops team;I appreciate your professionalism and commitment to your service.You have my repeated business.Thank you

Ive been here for 5 days to get a sensor replaced came in on Tuesday and its Friday night and Im still here. The person who worked on my truck said the sensor broke when he tried to take it out then they had to cut it out and replace a box that it went in to, so today I came in and they where putting their best guy on it 5hrs later after day shift left I find out that my truck sit all day waiting on some Tech that isnt even coming in till in the morning so now it will be Saturday and Im still sitting and if you dont keep running up to the service window every couple of hours you will never know whats going on with your truck. I pray to God that I never have to come here again.

Hello, To all my truckersThis place is the worst place to get your repairs done, we have been there for almost a week, they did the repairs on Monday, but didnt have empty container to drain fuel, we kept calling them for update and they kept playing today or tonight games, and did not any reliable response. I dont understand how a dealer wont have something to drain fuel for 3 days. on 4th day they said they would buy new container and we should be ready before the end of day. Day passed, now its 5th day and we are still sitting there, fuel not drained, and repairs not yet verified. They overcharge alot, we are paying around 7k to replace injector cups. AND yes we only did Injector cups. Still stuck there, management does not have any updates, will never call you back. I would never recommend this shop to any trucker. Worst experience. They dont value your time. I would give them 0 if that was possible rating. I know how dealerships are, but these people are way too much. I have asked to speak with their GM, but was not successful.

These ppl could care less about American Truck Drivers. I spent 95 hrs there trying to get good mirror and windshield and bushing put in left front springs and computer checked. And they took there sweet time about doing barely anything. If driver is going to be sitting here waiting on truck then he should be bumped up the list to get him fixed and out of there. Showers half way worked showered in Luke warm water where you pick up parts place was nasty I dont think the ppl know how to clean windows. Only ppl who really cared about me and my trucks was the service writers. They really need aome New Managment in this place. Lines and numbers need too be painted and parking lot needs fixing.

DRIVERS!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!This place is horrible!! The communication is the worst I have ever had to deal with at a dealership. I have now been waiting over two hours just to get the bill and once I got it they are attempting to overcharge me. Pay attention to everything they do here simply because they wont. They do not care about you here. This place wants only one thing from you. YOUR MONEY!! There is a line out the door and drivers have been standing in it so long they are now fighting. These people seriously dont have a clue to what is going on. The mechanics cant identify a problem and fix it. I had my truck towed in for mechanical problems, they replaced starter, wiring to battery, cleaned terminals and cleared what codes existed, but didnt not fix the problem with the crankcase separater or cleaning up the excess oils and for$800.00 in parts, they charged me over$2400.00 in labor. Thats not all, couldnt get a chance to talk to anyone on the phone, just got jerked around. I am 69 years old and if this is service I think they need to return to school and rethink how much this will cost them in future business because I guarantee you, I will not go back, and nor will my fellow drivers.,

First off,the 1star is for the friendly employees, 14 hrs to get an estimate,which is absurd,then pull truck out and then pull back in 3 days later to fix,(had authorization within 5 min to fix on the first day),then they didnt fill coolant resivor to max lvl,praying thats all they forgot,took 1 1/2 hr,to wait in line to pick truck up,imo its a truly messed up system they have,only reason i went there is i broke down across street at pilot, sure i save a tow bill,but knowing how they operate,id rather have paid a tow bill to go some where else,I WONT go back there if i dont have too,horrid service,4 days for a 6 1/2hr job

Just saw the horrible reviews but as far as trailer people concerned, I bought trailer through Shannon Spence. She was great and after couple years changed brakes, shocks, DOT etc. they are awesome people work inside especially Jeff, Brian and terry.

Negative star rating! Would not ever recommend. They replaced cab shocks which was not the problem they would not listen! $1,250! For nothing $100 misc and $100 for a road test and the truck is still acting up. Every customer in there for 3 days straight was disgusted! Yes we stayed there 3 days for cab shocks!

They always have a long wait even when parts are called in and supposed to be ready at will call. Been using them for years out of necessity but wait times have got a lot worse over this past year. I had 5 people in front of me picking up will call orders and was there about an hour to get my item that was also in will call. So plan on the wait 😒

My bus broke down one night. So I took it there to be repaired. We had to wait all of the next day for part to come in.And it cost us to have to spend two extra nights in a hotel waiting for it to get fixed.Meanwhile, I had medicine and shoes being delivered to my house because, I was confident that I would be there to received them.And because I wasnt, they were both stolen. And had to be replaced.Which meant that we could not go back to work until they where redelivered. So that they werent stolen once more. Therefore, mine and my husbands paychecks were cut short for the month. And now our bills are late getting paid.

Bad communication and just over all bad experience. Ended up waiting extra day because some one didnt check email. I approve work over phone. but then tell me email them before they can start i do and next day i call. They didnt even start because they missed my email approving work even though told them over phone. Lost time and money, didnt even to offer me some kind of break on labor for their Mess up.

My driver took the truck in on the 20th of May just to fix the 2 leaking hoses on the radiator here today June 4th these people & company havent fixed the leak yet one guy I talked with didnt even understand why its taking the Forman or mechanics this long But I definitely wouldnt recommend taking no equipment here They are extremely lazy their excuse was They were waiting on confirmation from me through email and they called but thats a lie Me & driver made it clear fix the leak twice Warning Dont Come Here Waste of Time and Money

I hope when people read this they truly understand how incompetent this shop is. Stay away first of all. This shop is only focused on ripping drivers off. SInce when did the customer lose the ability to say what is to be done to their truck?? No shop takes it a step further and retaliates if you dont let them do what they want. Upper management i guarantee has zero clue what goes on in the truck shop. I get really irritated when I am told work has been performed, only to find out Hell no. Not a damn thing has been done. I love the fact a shop can claim certain repairs are needed but yet the one item needed to replace a one box is what? The ATD checklist. No how can you tell w/o the checklist. SO when declined to replace, Shop says well hell screw the customer we will push it back until second shift. That will teach them for not letting us screw you over. Its a sad state in todays world. Driven by the all mighty dollar that shops have to stoop to fraud, lies lets not forget retalitation. So keep up the NOT SO great work at not doing ones job and God Forbid ever listen to the customer. Those who read this make your own opinion, take your truck there. I don’t care for their pre pay policy and it certainly would have been nice to know about this before I handed the keys over and drove 70 miles home (only to make a special round trip to understand the policy and make the payment). I only have Freightliners in my fleet and they were bought from Stoops Indianapolis. Whenever we need any type of work done we come to the Indianapolis service shop. Bill in the service shop has always taken good care of us and the guys working in the shop are pretty awesome too! Wouldn’t trust any other group of people to look after my trucks. Thank you Bill & the whole truck service team!!If you’re looking to buy a truck- go see Rick Unger at the Stoops Truck Sales, he’s absolutely honest and trustworthy. Wouldn’t go to anyone else!!

This was the worst experience ever! I am extremely disappointed with the Part department service!I called the company, we were in need of a hood, I explained to them that I am from Chicago, and they confirmed to me that they have immediately available hood, they made me a ticket, when I asked if I can pay over the phone they told me that I will pay once I get there. I told them that I will send my employee with cash, they again confirmed to me that is ok, my guy has to drive 200 miles in one direction, he was driving a semi truck, he spent $200 for fuel and I had to pay him for 7 working hours.When he got there they told him that the hood is not available .I coled manager of the parts department the next day, and he found out and confirmed that the hood was sold after I called them. Manager promised me that he would solve the problem but as of today nothing happened! Never ever again!

Had a breakdown today and brought one of our carrier-partner trucks into this shop, and while they couldnt get to the issue today, Bill Mason communicated everything with me and even called back a second time about an hour later to check in and see if there was anything else we needed. Updated on 01/02/21Changing from 5 to 1 star.Today i came here at truck side for exchange the parts 2 person were working and long long line after waiting more than 56 minutes i was abke to get in and then inside they were taking more than 45 minutes per customer.There service is terrible. If you dont want to loose business then increase your staff and speed up.P.S. phone was kept ringing no one has time to answer questions over the phone .Old review.Truck parts deparment is slow but overall service is good unless body shop close at 3 pm .i mean there should someone to answer until 5pm as of they have full lot if trucks for body and service .

They rep off over charges they keep my truck for 24 hours they put two hours off work for change a pump I change lest week by my self. In 10 minutes they and change one harness take them 24 hours charge me 1500 dolars I wish I see this bad reviews before I bring my truck here and after 8 hours yesterday waiting they told me my truck is not going to be ready that day because they don’t have a electric mechanic. Ta ordered a radiator for my truck on a Monday was told it would be there Tuesday by noon didnt show up they said tracking showed it would be there between 9am and 10am wendsday at noon they called and they said it wasnt there no tracking said another one of there stores had it they went 6 hours round trip for it to be the wrong radiator then said they could get one for twice as much as what they said the first time I will never do business with them ever

To start with I was involved in an accident that damaged the hood, grill, wrap around and fender and bumper . I called stoops freightliner Indy and they requested pictures and I sent them. From that point on it was mostly downhill. I could not get a return phone call at any price. I ended up calling the general manager and I finally got an estimate on the repairs. Day after day I kept calling and no one would return my call. After 1 1/2 months I get a call and say they are ready to order the parts but they have to be paid up front. I paid for them that day. 3 weeks later they say they have all the parts to complete the job and took me the following Monday so the truck was left there on Saturday. Thursday I’m told that the truck was complete I go to pick up the truck and a painted fender, grill, bumper and wrap around cost 2900$ for labor to put on for a total of 5800$. The paint was not finished, the hood was not realigned and glue residue was left on the grill wrap around. I just don’t understand how someone as unprofessional as the body shop is could be kept around. No communication and shotty work is a sure recipe for failure I really believe that a high school shop could have been better.

Worst place ever. Here 3 days just for an ac hose. Every customer is mad . They do not communicate with you to tell you the holdup. Waiting 14 hours for them to say they ordered a hose. Dont bring a vehicle here that has a refrigerator and expect your food to be good when you get it back. They have a bad habit of turning off inverters and dont care if your food spoils even if you mention it to them repeatedly to make sure your refrigerator stays powered.

Great place especially for a large Freightliner shop, had 2020 western star 5700xe towed in on a Friday for check engine light and red stop engine light was out Saturday before closing .Quick and answered their phone every hour and half when i called for update .My experience is cant go wrong at Stoops.

I had to give them one star because there’s no place for 0 stars. I go there, at 9am I tell them I want my engine horse power raised to at least 575 the truck came in with 430hp on a Detroit series 60 500hp engine at the end of the day 3:30pm they come back to tell me they can’t raise the HP but still charge me $175 for doing nothing!!!!! I’ll never in my life come here!!! I’ll live and die with the small guys.

Place is terrible, stay very far away from. Been over a week just for oil change and to have the brakes replaced. Was suppose to be done a few days ago but excuse after excuse when calling to check the status. Very unprofessional place and people are very rude.

I took my truck in to replace the cab shocks on 17 cascadia. They took a torch and cut off the bolt without my permission... on a painted surface. The bracket rusted and the body disintegrated and now I’m lookin at 5K in repairs. Went back to see what they would say and surprise surprise it wasn’t their fault and it was impossible for that to happen as I said. OWNER OPERATORS... stay clear of this place. Only an inept person would take a torch to a painted surface. SMH

BEWARE** Ive brought my truck in because freightliner is the only business that can fix the problem thats going on with my truck, to say Ive been to multiple diesel mechanics, say 6 to 7 before I decide to go to freightliner. Ive been here for two days before a mechanic can look at my truck, and I might get someone to reply saying there sorry and I will agree. Most of the people here are very respectful and nice but the business part gets a F. I guest this is why people dont like freightliners. And I cant see how they are in business still. Just sad.

Went in this place and said need a hose that comes from the block to some other cube thing thing ... from there the guy on nights was able to figer out what i needed for my truck great people had a laugh while finding out what it was .. parts guy at night with mask mask is legit
