Wonderful attention, however execution and follow through ruined it. Checked in at 330. Person said they would text or call when ready and that truck would be ready at 730. Weird, it closes at 6pm, but he said hed call or text. No call or text. I call no answer, because website shows its closed. Happened to drive back and saw the guy with others outside. Of course, everything is closed. He owned up to not calling, but dont claim something is going to be ready at a time after your hours. Now we have to arrange a way for everyone to get to work since they dont open until 8am. Lesson: dont assume theyre going to call.

Service was great, but it took a deal longer than the time quoted which made me run late for important business.Still... better to do a good job than a poor fast one.

Employees were very welcoming, helpful, and courteous. Service was quick. Told me it would be about an hour for my service (4 new tires) but they had the work done in about 35 minutes.

Young and under-experienced staff did not balance wheels correctly. Not only did I catch them trying to balance my wheels with the old weights still attached, but they did not secure the new weights properly. I had two weights fly off my wheels on the highway! Very dangerous.They should have paid me for the service.

Today I bought 4 new Michelins best tires for my car. I went in to get a tire plug due to screw, but was on edge so no patching could be done. They did not pressure me at all to buy tires, but my tire measurements were very low under 5 with (80,000 miles on tires). So new tires were in order anyway.Customer service to the guys working on my car were excellent. I was in and out 1 hr.Thats why my husband and I are loyal customers.Oh, and I was a walk in.

About as bad as you can get from a customer service experience. I was promised a tire order in 2 days and it still hasnt arrived 9 days later. Store does not actively communicate with its customers, leaving you to call in repeatedly to check on your order. Complete disaster. And then they blame everyone else. With as busy as this particular shop is they all done a fantastic job with getting to everyone as quick as possible. Originally went to get a flat fixed in December. They were super nice but did let me know that my tires, although in fairly good shape, were the original tires (about 10 years old). They didn’t pressure me to replace them but I decided get a new set before my road trip this summer. Fast forward to today, I had my appointment for new tires at 0930 and was out the door by 10! Even got an unbelievable warranty on all of my tires. I wish I hadn’t forgotten the guy’s name at the front desk. He helped me both times I was in. He was kind and professional.

Placed a online . Order was confirmed, a email reminder was sent the day before appointment. Came to location at time of appointment to be told wheels were out of stock until July . No communication via phone call or email that it would be a waste of time coming. Didnt get a sorry about the inconvenience. It was more like just deal with it. Double and triple check everything with this place before you show up if you decide to do business with them.

Went in this afternoon and could not be happier! The guy who helps us Rick was his name his costumer service was outstanding. I had a lift kit put on my truck was went to other tire shops and every place had no idea what size I could go up to but not the case at tire discount they know what they are doing and it was in and out and they got my truck ready to go.

I used to love Discount Tire. I use them exclusively for the first fifteen years of my adult life. Ive used branches in Michigan, Texas, Kansas, and Indiana. I have used this location multiple times and used to be very satisfied. Over the years it has gone WAY down hill. If you call, youll be on hold for 15 minutes. If you go in, youll wait in line 20 minutes. This most recent visit, I experienced both in order to drop my car off for a flat repair. After finally dropping it off, they called to say the tire could not be repaired and Id need to buy a new one. I was tired of them, so I took it to Stewart Tire and Auto down the road to buy a new tire from them instead. They called to tell me they were able to repair it and should be good for another year or two.I think that was my last visit to Discount Tire. Id give them one star, but the guys in there have always been and still are friendly. But Im with Stewart now.

It was SUPER busy when I showed up, but the sales guys were friendly, didnt rush any customer, and were not at all pushy. Robert helped me with my tire repair and rotation/balance. He was patient and thorough in the assessment and suggestions for my scenario. The team changing tires were pushing for quickness and seemed like a hard group of workers. Overall I was really happy with my visit. It took some time, but thats just because they were busy and this is a pot holes city 😁. The next time I need to purchase tires Ill likely come here.Pro tip: schedule an appointment online to skip the line. I didnt know that was a thing till I waited in line for a good 20 mins.

The quality control is so poor. After a service and even on new tire installs, my tires are never properly inflated and often have not been balanced.

We take all vehicles here for servicing tires. I was referred to Discount Tires several years ago by a friend who did not steer me wrong. Consistently, Im greeted by a professional and present tech who listens, recommends if needed, and provides an accurate time estimate. More often, service is complete prior to the estimated time. The specials available are quite valuable and am truly pleased with the tires and service we receive.

I arrive shortly before 3pm saturday to get a lawn mower tire put on my rim and aired up. They closed at 5pm with no call. I work through the week and cant get there before they close. So next Saturday, I got there about 3pm. Over an hour later they found my tire. They never wrote it up as an order, so they were just going to keep it in the hopes that someone would eventually claim it.

These guys are fast and good, and you can get some flippin sweet rims for pretty cheap. Check out these awesome monstrous rims and tires they put on my work van (see pic). Only issue is, the service tire monitoring system light keeps coming on. I havent had time to bring the van back in, but I know theyll take care of it so Im not worried about it. The store is always busy, which should tell you people trust this place. And I do too.

Extremely frustrated to show up with my Model S Tesla for a scheduled appointment to replace all 4 TPMS sensors and the first thing they do is go out to inspect my tires. The gentleman came back in and brings up their tire wear presentation sign and tells me I would need to buy a new set of tires before they would install the sensors. Imagine going to Target for new socks and they looked at your shoes and said you need to go back and pick out new shoes before we can check you out. Would have saved me a lot of time if they told you on the phone you needed fresh tires to buy their pressure sensors. I will stick to Tirerack.com from now on. At least they didn’t insist on an oil change.

I have been buying tires with them for several years, maybe 10 years. Their service has been in decline and prices are not competitive anymore. I had a flat on my wifes minivan so I went ahead and called to setup an appointment early in the morning, the person on the phone said I didnt need it one, just come and will take care of it, not the case. I ended up waiting almost 3 hours because they misplaced my paperwork. Manager didnt even apologise. Im going somewhere else from now on.

I needed a new set of tires, and my co-worker kept speaking highly of Discount Tire. I normally go to Big O, but there arent any close to me so I went to this Discount Tire and the customer service was great! I can see why my friend likes them. I got a good set of tires for a great price. And they are pretty quick too! Id definitely recommend them.

One of the better tire places out there. Their prices are very reasonable compared to the other tire places. And if you get a nail or hole in your tire they will repair it for free. Which is pretty awesome theres not much for free anymore these days

This location let me down after years of good experiences at other Discount Tire stores.Ive had two experiences with this store, one that went well until I got home, and another that made me take my business elsewhere.1) I needed a replacement rim and tire for my car, and discount tire was able to get one in just a couple days. With the new one installed, they also offered a free tire rotation. I went ahead and waited for over an hour for them to rotate the tires (but they were busy, so I brushed it off). Once I got home, I noticed they got aggressive with an impact socket, and ruined the finish around one of the lugs of my wheels (see attached picture). I take great care of all of my cars, and this was sickening to see, because these wheels are $350 each.2) This past week, I went in to get new tires on new aftermarket wheels. I showed up on time for my appointment, but it took 45 minutes for them to even pull my car in, and when they did, they discovered they didnt actually have my tires there. I had ordered specific tires after researching, and they had no equivalents in stock. I was told they would call around to other stores and call me back by Monday, since my original appt was on Friday. I agreed, rescheduled for the next Wednesday (having to take off early from work) and just went home.On Monday, I followed up. The staff had no idea what I was talking about, had no record of my tires or needing to call around to ask, and their response when I asked about the tires being in by my NEW appt time, they said well, we dont know if theyll be in. You can just call us, or reschedule if we dont have them. This was all AFTER I had been charged for my tires.I got a refund and took my business elsewhere.Ive had good experiences with most discount tire stores, but this one is an exception. I recommend going up to the Lafayette Rd store if you are sticking with Discount Tire for your needs. I went for a local shop instead, who got me the same pricing, no waits, and much better service.

I usually get grate service here and even recommend. Today was not the case. I waited in the tire pressure lane for 25 minutes and nobody ever came out to help.

We purchased a set of tires in July 2019 and Levi was extremely helpful then. We had a tire mishap today and it was not repairable due to the extensive damage. Levi was extremely helpful with great customer service and since the tire was not in stock, he worked to get it ordered and shipped to their location. He called me as soon as the tire was in at 5pm and got our car in line to get it put back on. Very wonderful gentleman with great customer service skills. We definitely recommend the location on 31!! And definitely ask for Levi!

After contacting the store manager. the issue was fixed as promised in a very timely manner. The staff were very understanding and took care of me. Had an appointment for my car. Brought it in with a low tire and told them someone was wrong with it.They denied it and said my tire was fine. I ended up having 3 nails in my tire and all my gages were off on the wrong tires... fast forward, had the tire plugged by the same company then one of the plugs didn’t work. Then I was forced to purchase new tire because they wouldn’t fix what they messed up. What a great image for a company.. not.

You buy tires from them, have a warranty, then when you have a problem with the tires you have to wait more than 3 hours to get service.

This place is amazing! Went in with a flat to discover all of my tires were at least 7 years old, my donut was 20 years old. They fixed my flat with no pressure to replace the others. When I went back to get my others replaced when finances were stable, I took my 3 kids all under 5 with me (solo, lord help me) They rushed my service, gave my big kids coloring books, offered coffee, and when they discovered they weren’t able to match my tires they upgraded me for free. They also offered to put one of my old tires onto a steel frame to replace the donut, which I didn’t even know was an option! Thank you Nicholas and jarrod (possibly, don’t have my original receipt) for being so understanding and helpful. You guys have gained a lifetime customer.

I was able to make an appointment online and pick out what i wanted. took them about an hour to get me in and change two tires. They offer free water and coffee. Surprisingly comfortable chairs. I feel they could use a TV.

This place is great. My John Deere had a flat, and someone told me that discount tire does free flat repair. I went in on a Saturday morning, and the staff (although it was busy) was very happy to take care of me! I left the tire thinking I was in no hurry. I didn’t even make it home and they called me to tell me it was repaired. Great service and will definitely be back (as a paying customer next time)!

Im an IU Bloomington student and on my way home found my car with a flat tire. I pumped it up and got home to find out that the rim was bent. I was hoping to get it fixed over the weekend so I could drive back to school. Other places I looked at sent the rim out to be fixed and wouldnt have it back until Monday. Discount tire got me in and out in 30 minutes. Their staff was professional and courteous, and their service was quick and very reasonable. I would highly recommend this Discount Tire location.

This is the best tire place Ive ever been to. Its clean, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They have coffee and water and a nice place to wait.I came in here after I hit a pot hole and bent my rim after a mechanic told me there was nothing they could do for me. So I went in expecting to have to buy a new rim, which they told me wouldnt be that expensive, and that they would look at my current rim. So they told me it would be a 2 hour wait, I only had to wait an hour, and they told me they managed to fix my rim and there would be no charge. I will be getting all of my tires here from now on.
