If I could leave a minus star I would leave it for Turner Appliance. I had my dryer serviced after waiting a month for an appointment. Service tech “Jason” looked at my dryer to diagnose the problem & scheduled another appointment to replace the belt which took another week to order. On the day of the appointment no one showed up, so I called the office. The nice person who answered the phone was clueless...no in fact I had no appointment! So another week. The belt was replaced to the tune of +$200. The next day, I ran the dryer...it filled the house with a burning smell, I think we were lucky the dryer did not burn the house down! Turns out, after having a different company look at the dryer, that the problem was not the belt at all, in fact the new belt was in shreds when removed. To add insult to injury, it was installed backwards!!! I’ve not left a review for a company before but I must warn you...do not use this company! Another +$200 to fix my dryer!

Hard working folks. The technician was unfamiliar with the brand of our icemaker. This did not deter him. He came to the house 3 times to get the repair done properly. I was surprised to see that there was no charge until it was working

I contacted Turner Appliance on 6/21 because my seal was broken on my freezer. Was told the repair people carry them on their trucks. 6/21 appointment and he said she misspoke and they would order one. ( no problem, it happens) 6/30 was the next appointment and after he removed the old seal, realized they ordered the wrong part. No problem he would get the right one overnighted and be back out to install it. In the meantime, he taped the freezer closed with electrical tape which didn’t hold so I lost all of the contents. I called on 7/1 to find out when it would be installed and was told they didn’t see it as ordered but the person in charge of parts leaves at noon and to call back the next day. The next day they told me they would order it and I got an appointment for 7/6. Surprise wrong part again. They do not return phone calls or communicate. They blame it on new people in the office.

We had Turner out to fix a belt on our dryer. Two cycles after the repair the motor burnt up. During the replacement of the motor it was discovered that the blower was disintegrating. OK, the dryer is very old, so we ordered a replacement GAS DRYER. I took time off work, used my gas to drive back and forth only to find out the office ordered both a gas dryer AND an electric dryer. They, of course, delivered the electric dryer so now we wait, miss more work and hope they get it right next time. Turner is getting a second star ONLY because the service guys have been so great and apologetic. The office manager, Jess, refuses to return calls or even speak to us at this point. Too bad such a terrible, unprofessional response to issues we (THE CUSTOMER) had no control over is going to cost the company any future business with us. The only reason they are getting one more attempt to make this situation right is because the service/delivery guys are working us in, the people in the office refused to make delivering the correct dryer a priority.

Washing machine not working. Called Turner Appliance. They came out same day. Brayden (technician) was very knowledgeable knew exactly my problem. I’m so impressed and would definitely recommend Turner appliance!!!!

We have 60 days to make sure our used appliance is in good working condition. When we arrived, communication was great and when something came in I was able to go back and look at it before saying I wanted to purchase it. Delivery was very professional and installation was quick. Overall I would use this company again and refer people to them.

READ the bad Reviews before using! there is a pattern. The staff is the most incredibly rude I have ever dealth with. We called them to fix a squeaky pulley on our dryer. After fixing it the dryer no longer heated up. We called them and they came back out but we had to wait a week after waiting a week for the first repair, so that is two weeks without a dryer. They fixed it again but 6 weeks later it stopped heating again. They would not prioritize our repair despite this obviously being their error and the staff in the office is SO disgruntled. I called 3 times asking for a manager to call me back. He was always out of the office or on the phone. We eventually had to wait out the appointment they gave us. The repairman was extremely rude and tried to blame it on us. He also informed us that he should not have charged us for the pulley as it was under warranty and that he got yelled at by the owner for doing so. At least they didnt charge us to fix it this time but I have a bad feeling I will just need to replace this dryer after they touched it. It is only 5 years old but its not worth it to have these clowns in my home again. I can only conclude based on my experience, the repairmans words and the other reviews that this company is poorly run from top to bottom. Stay away.

I needed a new lid on my Samsung washer. Turner Appliance was quick to order the part I needed, and scheduled me ASAP for repair. Technician was very friendly, respectful, and got the job done in hardly any time at all. No mess left behind, he took the old parts and boxes with him. Highly recommend, and will definitely be a repeat customer when needed!

If I could give zero stars I would .. over promised under delivered on every aspect possible .. said they would do one thing and never did what they said .. got management envolved and didnt get much better .. more expensive than any other appliance repair company Ive used .. and all around terrible customer service.. will never use again

Be forewarned! Read the 1 and 2 star reviews. Clear pattern and I experienced it. This company is only after your $95 initial service visit. Total scam. Technician showed up early (no issue there). Made several rude comments about my fridge being cheap because it was made in China and was not worth repairing. Was in a hurry to get to my CC charge for the $95 as fast as possible. Was there no more than 10 min. and did zero testing or diagnostic on any parts. Simply looked in the back and guessed that I needed a new control board. Said hed be in touch in the next couple days with info on parts and cost for repair. Never heard from them again. Save your $95 or donate it to charity.

It was easy to book an appointment with Turner Appliance Repair. Although they are very busy as my appointment was schedule for two weeks out. I was added to the cancelation list and I was able to get scheduled in the next day.Brent was friendly, on time and professional. He was thorough on identifying the issue with our refrigerator and fixed it quickly for a reasonable price. We will only use Turner Appliance repair going forward with our appliance maintenance needs.

Ive been meaning to write a review for a while. Our dryer started making a lot of loud, grating, rumbling sounds. My wife contacted Turner Appliance. We had an initial visit within the week (back in July), and the technician, Josh, was right on time. Josh was friendly, efficient, and professional. He believed, based on our description, that it would be a certain type of problem, which matched what my totally amateur investigative efforts on Google anticipated. On inspection, he realized it was a rarer problem: the blower wheel of our dryer was broken. While he was prepared to fix the expected problem, he had to get a part ordered. Even so, he was back out within a few days, as they were quick to reschedule. He also warned us about the danger of using the dryer until it was fixed--not only would it not be drying as efficiently, but it was more likely to start a fire. On the follow-up appointment day, he quickly repaired the part and was again friendly and professional. Total cost was very reasonable too. Now the dryer runs quietly and well. Were very happy with the level of service provided and the results!

This business decided to send my bill for approximately $300 to the state for failure to pay after 1-2 months.This was after I notified them that I had been deployed on medical missions working as an Emergency Response physician. No emails AT ALL were sent to me. I have spent at least $5000 with Turner Appliances over the last 5-7 years on service for my Fisher and Paykel appliances. I will never use their services ever again. Also, I recommend no company of finer appliances utilize this company as an authorized service provider. When I called about this, they were rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. When asked by family, friends, and colleagues about fine appliance repair, my husband and I recommend AGAINST TURNER APPLIANCES. I have informed Fisher and Paykel directly.

The cherry on top of this terrible experience was being verbally assaulted over the phone by the owner of this company. Being blamed for his miscommunication with his technician and his lack of understanding of the situation was very unprofessional. When I told him so, he told me I was being ridiculous and that my request for more info on the invoice (which was the original reason for the call) was out of line.I want so badly to support a small, local business and buy used vs. new, but Turner Appliance makes it very hard to do so.I purchased this washer used from them. It worked fine for 7 months until we had an issue. I called Turner to work on it since they sold it to us originally. Throughout the whole process, we had to call to receive any information about the status. There were changes in scope, timing, cost - all which we only found out because we called. The washer was supposed to be fixed in one week; it took three. The project was estimated without taking the washer apart and we werent updated when they had the washer apart in the shop and there were additional issues discovered. We werent updated when the cost of the project increased above the estimated cost.I called to push for the washer to be delivered since we were so far past the time they promised and they said they would do the best they could. Later that day, the washer and technician showed up on my doorstep without any heads up and I had to leave a work meeting to accommodate.The technical work could be fine (we will see) but the whole experience was muddied by the terrible customer service. Do not work with this company. Go buy a new product; youll save yourself a headache and probably end up spending the same amount or less.

A nightmare from day one.In November my partner and I purchased a washer and dryer combination from Turner Appliance. It was our intention to buy locally from an organization capable of providing service in the event we ran into any issues.Within 6 months of purchase the washer unit failed. Upon request a repair technician was sent to our home to diagnose the issue. After receiving an initial quote and an estimated repair window of 7 days we chose to move forward with repair.On the day of pick up, after waiting through our two hour pick up window, we called the dispatcher only to discover the pick up had been delayed by three days. It was after our unit was collected that the real issues began.After a week without update we called Turner to obtain a status. We were informed that the technician was out but we would be provided an update upon his return. After three additional days with no update we called back only to be informed the wrong component had been ordered and the repair had been delayed.Thus began a 4 week period of unreturned phone calls, missed delivery dates, and all around unprofessional interactions. In all the scope and timeline for our repair expanded significantly. The end result was a repair that cost nearly twice what we paid for the unit initially and took nearly a month to complete.The icing on the cake was a call from Rick, who Im told is the owner, following delivery. He used the call to berate my partner for having the audacity to ask for an explanation of the additional charges.If you do have the misfortune of doing business with Turner Appliance, or Rick, be sure to document the experience and if applicable purchase a warranty.

After spending 5-6 weeks of having techs coming to our house 20 minutes to an hour late and not diagnosing our fridge but, just replacing parts that didnt fix the issue we had to buy a new one. The first time they came out, the tech sat his clipboard on the stove and started to just write what need replaced without opening the fridge. When my wife asked if he was going to actually look at the fridge he said its the control board and anyone could have told us that over the phone. Well, it was not the control board. After a few weeks I called to see if they were coming back and they said that they ordered the part and would have the tech call. Long story short he never called, the clerk set another appointment and he came back out without even letting us know how much the part was or if we even wanted to fix it. That said, all techs were not the same who came out but they all just kept replacing parts. I would never call Turner Appliance even if there were the only repair shop in the state of Indiana. You might have a better chance using YouTube to fix it yourself.

I called to have Chris call me about my breaker box for dryer. I called at 8:30 am on Thurs. He never called me back. I then called to speak with a manager. I was told it was is day off. No one seemed to care or address the problem. They were recommened by 2 friends. I will not use thid company again.

The man who replaced the line to our ice maker pushed the fridge back onto the line causing our basement to flood. We had to go rent 2 commercial fans and dehumidifier to get all the water up. The next project he did was replace the heating element in my dryer which wasnt completed correctly. The nun who answered the phone told me it would be 5 days till they could return and fix the job that Id already paid for. She was offended by my vocabulary and hung up the phone. I wouldnt use them again. They are more interested in going out and collecting more money than fixing the jobs they have already been paid for and screwed up.

On time.... Technician found the problem and did repairs same day..... awesome...the only service I will call when I need appliances repairs...

Steve came out to my home on three separate occasions to repair an oven. He was kind, courteous, he came earlier than expected, which was great—all three times! He is a clean-cut young man, hard to find! He knows his trade! The lady who did the scheduling for me all three times was just as nice. I think anyone who is in need of appliance repair would do very well to choose Turner!

Ive used Turner several times over many years (15+). Their work has been good, and repairs made have stuck. However in the last 6 months Ive called them for 3 different repairs, and theyve been scheduling out very far (too far for food to keep in a fridge, or when I needed a dishwasher before family came in town for a funeral). This didnt used to be the case. I will need to find another provider.

Turner Appliance has maintained our 25 year old Viking Stove with great care and professionalism. Yes Viking parts are costly, but with their 2 year warranty and great service I am glad to give them 5 stars. Miguel is an awesome service tech, with lots of technical knowledge and commen sense. I highly recommend them and will keep using them.

Rude, hurried and unprofessional

The repairman made what he hoped was a fix on our over the range microwave oven. He said that if it went out again he’d have to replace a circuit board and that would require removal of the cupboard on one side. The charge for this “fix” was $175. Two and a half months later the same problem occurs. This time I contacted Whirlpool, got an endorsed repair company, they came out with the replacement of the faulty part in hand and installed it in about twenty minutes, cost...$162. Turner did not fix the problem by replacing the bad part and over charged also.

We had a great experience with Turner. They were prompt, knowledgeable and polite. Matt, the tech, fixed our problem and advised that the fix may not last because the part was starting to break down. He was not pushy, just gave us an estimate and explained our options, including waiting a time to see how the part would do after it was fixed. We will definitely be repeat customers.

I have used Turner appliance on several appliance repairs. This repair was for our washing machine which had a leak. The technician showed up on time and was very friendly. In looking at the washer it was discovered that a cracked hose was the problem. The hose was replaced quickly and the washer was operating again as normal. The price was very reasonable and the service was once again A+! I will continue to use Turner for any appliance repair needed in the future.

Over the phone but great customer service! Ive called them & gotten parts through the years & theyve always been knowledgeable & very helpful.

They charged me $256 to replace a $20 part (thats what the part costs at Home Depot, they charged me more than double that!) in my dryer! Thats literally all they did: remove the old part, put in the new one, and confirm that it was heating up. I understand they have to make a profit, but I have no idea how they justify these astronomical prices. I wouldve done it myself, but just days before I called Turner I arrived home from the hospital after having major surgery and was unable to do much of anything, so I was left with no choice but to pay someone to help me. The technician was very nice and personable (I enjoyed our conversation), so this review is NOT a reflection on anyone other than the owner.

I asked them to mail me all the receipts for pixie my dryer and because they mailed it out one time and I didnt receive it they had the or dacity to sit there and tell me that they werent gonna pay for another stamp until they a received it back or B they would email it to me that nuts they dont want a paper a stamp I wouldnt use this company ever again

Getting an appointment was easy and quick! The employee came to my home and quickly identified the problem so I scheduled an appointment for repairs. Unfortunately, my part arrived damaged and I wasnt informed until the Day Off. This was frustrating but I spoke to Rick, the owner who offered a discount for the inconvenience, although he made it clear that he shouldnt have to because these things happen and we live in an imperfect world. I wish I had at least been notified sooner but nobody checks the parts until the Day Of. I do wish the employee had worn shoe covers before walking on my carpet, he didnt either visit. Anyway, Im pleased with the work, feel the prices are fair, and I would call Turner Appliance again for an issue.

Terrible way to run a company!! I called this morning at 8:00 am ti see if they had a washer belt and they said yes they could order it and it would be in by 6 and i could pick it up by 7 and i thought great customer service!! Not so much i recieved a call from the owner stating that they were gonna close at 5 today!! I tried to talk to him and explain to him that i really needed the belt today and he exploded and told me that everybody makes mistakes and i need to get over it and go elsewhere to get my belt!!

I spent $465.00 to get my Viking oven repaired by Turner. They supposedly replaced my thermostat, back panel board and relay switch. It never worked right. I used the grill all summer....no oven. Just had the authorized Viking repair man out and it was the thermostat. Apparently the new one they put in was not working properly. Just spent $400.00 more to get a working oven. I feel very ripped off.....spending so much money with Turner and getting nothing in return. What a lousy company!!

This is the second time I have used Turner Appliance. The first time was about 5 years ago when my washing machine stopped draining water. (Still havent had any other issues with it since that time). This time it was my clothes dryer. They called me to tell me that they could come early if I was available, which worked out very well for me. This tech was polite, fast and efficient and I thought he seemed very knowledgeable. I didnt think it was too expensive. It was about 1/4 the cost of buying a new dryer.

Chris came to our home, was polite and friendly. He looked at our Samsung dryer, and told us exactly how much it was to fix and what was wrong. It took him no more than 20 minutes. HIGHLY Recommend.

I needed to have my hot water heater flushed and they transferred me to a technician who asked me Why do you want that done? I ended up going to another company who was more helpful.

Pretty much wasted $70 for someone to come out and then try telling me it was going to be $300 to repair my stove. That’s ridiculous when I can buy a used one for that. Should have just saved my $70 and used that towards buying a new one. Thanks for nothing and wasting my money.

Dont buy their refurbished appliances. We bought a washer that doesnt work. No refund and a rude lady answers their phone that doesnt care about your problems. A one star is too high for Turner Appliances. Did I forget to mention about the bugs we found crawling in the wash tub?.

Came to my house on time just like they said. Explained everything they were going to do, worked on washer and dryer. I needed to have a vent cleaned out by a third party because it is not reachable. They recommended someone for me. I called the service and they worked me in same day. Very professional, fair pricing and great service. Something you do not see today....

We’ve had a technician named Thomas out to our home for the washing machine, dryer, and now dishwasher and he’s prompt, courteous, honest, and kind to my kids every time he’s been here. I wouldn’t call another repair company in this field - Turner appliance is the most trustworthy and competent!

My dryer turned off shortly after starting and I called and was told 70$ for a service tech to come out . I had already opened he back of my dryer and cleaned and had it ready for him. He came out and started a cycle, we talked and he asked if I had shoes in there recently. I said yes and he concluded the shoes were opening the door and causing it to stop. He then put the dryer back panel on and charged me 80$ because 70$ was just for them to show up. I inquired about the price thinking it was unfair to be charged and additional 10$ to turn on my dryer let alone be charged full price and no troubleshooting was done whatsoever. The tech was in my house for less then 10 minutes. He was nice and they were prompt however I feel unsatisfied and overcharged for the work performance.

Great service from Cody at Turner Appliance!!! After 2 repair visits and 15 days of runaround from another company, I hired Turner. Cody took care of it quickly and without leaving parts of my dryer everywhere like the previous company! Thank you, Cody and Turner Appliance!! I needed my washer repaired ASAP because we had family coming into town. I called Turner Appliance and they worked with my work schedule to come out the same day even though it wasnt their usual time slot. Jeff was very friendly and fixed my washer in a matter of minutes. He gave me two pricing options instead of just automatically doing the more expensive fix. I was very happy with the service provided and will use them again!

Had a leak in refrigerator water line. I hired Turner appliances to replace refrigerator water line. Instead of replacing the entire water line, provider cut the water line where the leak was and installed a new fitting and connected refrigerator water line to the line from the house water supply. After work completion I contacted provider via email and phone about this and provider never bothered to respond. I did not pursue this further as refrigerator was functioning even though it was not fixed the way I asked for and what I paid for. About year later fitting on the refrigerator water line which was installed by Turner appliances came apart flooding the kitchen floor. I contacted Turner appliances several times about this issue and fix. I simply wanted turner to provide what I paid for. After several phone calls and emails Rick, the owner left me a voice mail about month a go stating that he has ordered a new tube for replacement. Since then I have contacted them several times via email and telephone about status of the tube but they have not bothered to respond to my email and on phone they keep telling me part is not in and they will schedule work when part comes in. If you want professional, quality, punctual service, turner is definitely not the one.

A friend recommended Turner Appliance when our washing machine was acting up. Brent called when he was on his way, arrived 10 minutes before his two-hour service window started (on a snowy Saturday, no less) and quickly diagnosed the problems. One part needed to be replaced, but he was able to save us almost $300 by bypassing the faulty lid switch. I was impressed that he asked if we has small children first, and that he wouldnt have bypassed the switch if we did given the safety concerns. He was polite, efficient and kind to our cat. I will definitely use Turner again, and I most definitely will recommend it to others.

I have one of the fancy LG washing machine units and after about a 3 years it broke down in the bearings .. Turner came out last year and drug it out of my house in the winter through a foot of snow the back yard and repaired it in their shop,, They came back a week later and drug it back down over ice and snow to get it installed again. .. they did a great job and were one of the few places in town I could find that actually worked on these pain in the neck units....We had to have a small repair done to the unit since then on something else and they did a great job again for us... I hope it does not keep giving us troubles ..but if it does they will handle it for us.....

Ive had a nightmare experience dealing with Turner Appliance. First off I ordered a used refrigerator and LG model it wasnt up to Snuff it had major electronic problems they troubleshot this unit like a couple of flu-ridden hounds. Claimed it was a compressor problem it was more of a computer and electronics type of problem which was not diagnosed to any degree period to add insult to injury they have been out to my house 8 different times swapping out refrigerator after refrigerator without and the lucid and result. I will be asking for my money back and would not recommend this business because at the end of the day they are not in business to do business. Which follows my following statement do business or get out of business I will be filing an in-depth complaint with the Better Business Bureau and I will talk to anybody any technological expertise to get them on the bandwagon to not do business with this business again not in business to do business is the Bottom Dollar Bottom Line. My time is worth about $1,000 an hour and theyve wasted about 10 hours of my time so I lost $10,000 at the end of the day.

Our original dish washer install took us complaining and 3 times coming out for them to actually mount it properly. They have since had to come out to spend 10 min (no parts) and charged us the trip fee $70 and $80 for labor. 10 MINUTES!!!!I get it, I have owned a service company before. The trip fee is there because you would go out of business rolling a tech over and over and never having labor to charge anyone. However, when the customer has the work done there should be a concession on the trip fee. Or at the very least consideration of a pro rated hourly fee. Especially when the tech comes out for literally 10 minutes and charges us a full $80 labor hour in addition to the $70 trip fee. Unprofessional and unnecessary. We will not being using them again.

Complete scam.. Dont waste your money unless your ok with the appliance not working after 5 months. They just bandage the appliances so theyll last through the 60 day warranty.

Lots and lots of great looking appliances, very friendly, knowledgeable staff

I had them come to check out my vent hood which wasnt working. The service person recognized it was not something that could be repaired that day. They told me it would be over $420 to order and repair the part (it was an off brand) and they can install a new (major brand) one for $350. The first time they came to install the new hood, they showed up over 1.5 hours late and brought the wrong component. The second time they tried to come, they missed the appointment and I canceled it after an hour. The third time they came, they got the existing vent hood about halfway off, then realized the one they brought was the wrong size.3rd times the charm, I couldnt deal with the ineptitude.They were always very polite and professional on the phone, unfortunately, their service wasnt on par.

I cancelled an appointment with them and they showed up anyway. When I called they were very rude. Not my fault that your people can not cancel an appointment correctly. Kinda scary...if they can not cancels an appointment correctly. What else is handled/done incorrectly? Just my opinion...

Was reminded again why I always call Turners. Migal came out for our dryer issue and within 5 mins knew the problem. I admit I was skeptical as hed barely opened the machine up and the motor is at the bottom. Migal proceeded to dismantle the machine politely explaining the pieces involved in the process as he went so I could understand why each piece was removed from the equation until we reached the motor. I was honestly humbled a bit but should have know 25+ years of experience .. hes seen a lot. Thanks for the lesson and the service.

Horrible customer service and owner, Rick Cantleberry, is very unprofessional! Office staff forgets to call, no one appears to know how to document service work, and the owner has no clue whats going on and puts blame on the homeowner. Weve contacted BBB with our complaints with Turner Appliance and Rick.

The company double charges, $70 for coming out and $80 for working while it is just that 1 hour the technician spends to inspect and do the repair. And another big chunk of dollars on any part they replace may cost a fraction and they charge twice probably or 3 times who knows. The technician who came out was courteous. I will still not know if the repair of the refrigerator really worked. So on the whole you are paying a whole lot of money to repair something that you are not really sure will work. This way they want the customer to just give them away the appliance for free and buy a new one from them. I would advice be very cautious dealing with this company.

Was explaining to the lady who answers the phone why I had to cancel the appointment and she hung up on me mid sentence... not very professional

As always, a stellar experience with Turner Appliance! I have used Turner several times in the past and can honestly say I have never had a negative experience with them. My dryer stopped working last night so I called them at 7:30 this morning. I was able to get someone out this very morning.The Tech arrived on time, within the service window, promptly diagnosed the problem and displayed a thorough mastery while still being able to put it in laymans terms. Turner operates on the principle of providing the highest level of customer service and gaining a customer for life. There is no up-sell, no games, just quality service. I cannot give a higher recommendation and would tell you to ask for Matt. When it comes to all things appliance-I take his word as Gospel.

Cody was very helpful and fixed our washer quickly. The price of the repair was reasonable.

Turner Appliance installed brand new kitchen appliances for me. Before they were done I asked them to level the refrigerator doors. The two technicians told me that they did not have the necessary parts to level the doors and that I would have to call in a service request. Before calling in I also noticed that they had missed two screws while re-assembling one of the drawers. A few days later a technician came out to fix both issues. The technician used two rusty screws pulled from the bottom of his tool bag and told me once again that doors could not be leveled. There is a major disconnect between their technicians and their service department.
