On two occasions these guys have told me my rear main seal is leaking and it isn’t. The second time this was done I was brought out to the shop to see my truck. The service manager directed my eyes by pointing to the oil pan, saying “Your rear main seal is leaking.” So, I looked up at the rear main seal. He immediately pointed down to the bottom of the oil pan. Ahem, sir, that’s not close go the rear main seal and if it were such a steady flow - as to soak the oil pan - I would have worse problems.However, the main reason for this review is negligence or possibly purposeful damage to my truck. My fuel pump stopped working. I’m a self-taught mechanic with 12 years experience so I did it myself. But, I’m not a pro and don’t have the best tools and I got in a bind. All I needed was the gas tank to be reattached. That requires emptying the gas tank (which I could not do) reconnecting some cables & tubes, and reattaching 5 bolts plus the splash guard. I chose Christian Brothers Automotive in Indian Trail, NC, because I believed our shared beliefs in the values of Christianity would ensure their honesty. I was willing to pay more for a name I could trust.Well, folks, all I got from them was a name. For whatever reason, they disconnected my EVAP purge filter from the furthest bracket from the gas tank and did not reattach it. One day my wife and I went to Lowe’s and I smelled plastic burning inside the cabin. Then, my truck stopped running and wouldn’t start again. I had it towed back home. When I got under the truck I saw the EVAP purge line had hit the exhaust pipe and melted.This caused the new fuel pump to malfunction.Brothers in Christ at Christian Brothers Automotive, you have some explaining to do. I am an ordained minister and experienced mechanic. What do you have to say? If you’re game is shady, so be it, but don’t nail it to the cross.

I was very impressed with the customer service then I was blown away with the amazing detailed estimate I was given. The complete experience was perfect. I have been a Automotive mechanic for over 35 years and took my vehicle there for an Alignment. This place is the only place I would let work on my own car if I was not able to do the repair myself. Now I understand myself why they have such great reviews. This place was amazing. Not only did they make the whole process a breeze with scheduling, they were prompt. Everything took exactly as long as they said it would. Miss Karlei is a class act and broke the whole inspection down in a way anyone could understand it and made me feel like i was their businesses only customer. Justin who did the inspection caught so many things I missed myself. Really all in all a great business that takes the slimey stigma out of the automobile repair industry.

My 1st visit to Christian Brothers Automotive of Indian Trail was nothing less that an awesome experience SO when my 2000 Dodge Dakota (315,000 miles) transmission started acting up, almost leaving me stranded on the side of the road, I knew Christian Brothers was where it was going!The issue I was experiencing was something very much out of the norm and they recommended I take it to Mr Transmission of Indian Trail for service.Bottom line...They could have replaced this and that which would have created a major charge for me to have to pay but they didnt... Very professional and friendly they do clean work

I’ve been having some trouble with my jeep for a good while now and have even taken it to MULTIPLE dealerships yet no one could seem find or even begin to tell me what was wrong it. Within a 5 minute conversation over the phone with kindest gentleman from Christian Automotive, they were able to at least give me some kind of answer as to what it could be and told me exactly what to tell the dealership to check out (as my car is still under warranty). They Really go above and beyond, even as far as making sure you have transportation if they need to keep your car. I was more than satisfied with the customer service and efficiency. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!

I appreciate the service I got here. Took my truck to the dealership because it should have been a warranty issue due to recall (truck wasn’t in the recall batch, but it was the exact issues and same year......). They quoted me several hundred less than the dealership. They also found an unforeseen issue that would have been $200, but did not charge since it wasn’t expected. Ricky was great to work with. There was also a new guy (didn’t catch his name) that was pleasant to work with as well. Would highly recommend.

Mike was a stand up guy. Ran a diagnostic test on my car and instead of trying to get me to just spend money with him, he guided me in the right direction for me and what I need, making the customer experience so exceptional that I will not only go back to them, I will suggest them to others.

I really appreciated the work needed breakdown with prices and the option to have it done or not. This service was never an option before, and I wish it was. The transparency of the pricing and services that needed to be done made me feel at ease, not taken advantage of. The customer service is also top-notch. The gentlemen who assisted me were respectful and answered my questions without hesitation or being condescending.

Went in for check engine light. The code was for an 02 sensor. I was called later in the day saying it would be done the following day because the sensor they got was bad. Next thing I know, car is done. The light has returned over 5 times since that repair. I brought it back once and they said it just came on “for a second” and that’s why it’s on. I’m not making this up.They put a bad sensor in my car or they didn’t replace it at all. Don’t trust this place. They put Christian in their business name as a gimmick. I paid them over $1k, don’t go here. I’m beyond upset.

Today was my first time here. First off, I want to mention how friendly the guys are. Ive been to many places before and these guys seem like the most honest people Ive met in this line of work and seem like they actually want to help you. I had to get an alignment on my truck today and the tech, Chris, had a tough time getting my truck into perfect alignment, but didnt have up until he got it just right. I highly recommend this place.

1st mechanic I went to wanted to charge me $2500 to fix what was wrong with my car. I got a 2nd opinion at Christian Brothers and left paying $80. Service like this and I think you may have yourself a lifelong customer.

Chris Bergstrom was my service manager and he did a great job. I needed four new tires and an alignment and he was able to get me in same day and at a lower cost than the tire only companies. They offered transportation after drop off and to pick me back up, even tho I didnt need it it was a nice option. Would recommend this location highly if you need any work done.

They are nice people but cannot stick to the timeline. I called ahead to make an appointment and they told me it should only be 30 to 45 minutes. I went to get an alignment check to see if I needed one and then they can do it after. They didn’t even check my car until an hour and 20 minutes later. They shouldn’t take appointments if they can’t even do the job in a decent time.

This place was amazing! They did a variety of repairs to my car within hours and the price was more than reasonable. They did a great job! I will return for future service and repairs.

I would not advise anybody who is interested in quality work and experienced technicians to take there vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive (13957 E Independence Blvd Indian Trail NC 28079). I brought my vehicle there and after diagnostics & extensive testing it was determined by there master technicians that no external damage was done to the engine and it was in good shape. After getting it fixed just to bring it back multiple times over 2 days for the same issues and spending over $900. All of the sudden They determine the engine may be blown They pretty much ripped me off and drug me along to make as much money as they could and I want to stop this from happening to anyone else. These people are crooks

This shop is truly incredible. Everyone is very transparent and the service is 2nd to none. Took my car in for diagnostic on a couple issues and an oil change. They gave me recommendations and ultimately encouraged me to do what was needed to be done for my specific situation with my vehicle. They could’ve easily pushed me to a higher revenue service but they ultimately yielded to my best interest. This is how you should be treated by an automotive mechanic. I highly recommend this business!

I went to CB yesterday to get my car inspected. I was so impressed! I saw/spoke with three different gentlemen while I was there. They are all so friendly and professional. Brought my car in because a friend actually told me that she use to get her SUV serviced by Chris B at another establishment which I wont name because that part is irrelevant but he had moved to CB now. Came in to get my car inspected and was taken care of quickly and seamlessly. When I went to sit down he asked me if I wanted a drink and I kind of thought he was trying to sell me one (which would have been fair) so I said no. I went to go get breakfast and he told me to wait for a second and proceeded to bring out a spare chicken biscuit he had in the back, then said “now I know you need a drink now, what can I get you?”.But it wasn’t about the free stuff, it was about the feeling of hospitality before I got anything and the quick, helpful service. 10/10

I took a car here for them to do a prepurchase inspection on, they spent a long time looking over the car and told me everything was great with no leaks, and even put that on paper. Bought the car and drove home to realize the car has major oil leaks, and also has other issues that were never told to me that they would have noticed. I spent over $100 to have them look it over to only be ripped off. Why was I not told about these issues? Was it actually looked over? I paid and put my trust in these guys to look over a car for me. And now i am out thousands because of them.

Finding a repair shop that you can trust is rare these days. Christian Bros fills that role. Mike is a great communicator. The price was fair and in line with what you would expect. The customer service is excellent. I will definitely take my other cars back when they need service.

I recently relocated to this area and had no idea who to go to for service on my 20 year old Honda Accord. I must admit I had a lot of anxiety knowing how limited my car knowledge is and aware that there are a lot of businesses ready to take advantage of that. Before I knew about the Christian Brothers I had another company deal with an engine light staying on, It was due to a faulty sensor. It was replaced but it turned outthe wrong sensor was put in.Luckily Chris found the problem right away and fixed it. This company knows what it is doing and REALLY cares about their customers! From the moment you step into the office you feel as though you are more than just an invoice. I was greeted politely and offered a soda, water, etc. while I waited. Im able to make appointments online or via a quick phone call, often for the next day. The team is great at explaining what they plan to do, as well as give you a heads up on some upcoming maintenance items or areas of concern. I feel as though they actually care about me as a customer and want me to return (and I have because of this). Definitely worth a chance if youre in the market for general maintenance or unexpected vehicle difficulties. Highly recommend!

I sent my daughter to CB because her brake lights and turn signals were not working. I spoke with Chris on the phone before she came in, he was extremely helpful, and assured me he would take care of her when she arrived. Wonderful place, as a mom of a small child I’m picky about where I Take my child and at most auto shops I don’t feel comfortable having her tag along as they are usually dirty and gross. This place is wonderful, super clean waiting area where they offer sodas, waters, coffee and cookies while you wait. I’ve never been to the place before today and I ended up here due to a flat tire that happened while I was at work. They were very upfront that I may have to wait a while but they would help me as soon as they could which was fine, I showed up at 5 so a wait was expected, however it only took about 20 minutes for them to get my car back and I was ready to check out. As I was pulling out my wallet asking how much it was for my patch they told me not to worry about it that they patched tires complimentary. Talk about top notch service, we will be back already told everyone I’ve talked to today about you guys.

I was having an issue with a PO300 code,but I couldnt pen it down to which cylinder or cylinders was getting the most misfires with my code reader. So I took my vehicle to them and they found it was cylinder #6. But I couldnt afford a new engine, So I will have to fix it myself,but appreciated their help

From the time he answered my phone call to inquire about an estimate to having my BMW 535i serviced, Chris was exceptionally friendly & professional. He was able to get my car in the same day & complete the repairs at a very competitive price! The waiting area is very clean which is usually not the case in an automotive repair facility & the customer service was excellent. Chris provided a video to help explain my repair & the other employees were also very helpful & friendly. I was surprised to learn of their expertise servicing BMW’s & they have special equipment needed to service BMW’s in house. I will definitely be using Chris & CBA-Indian Trail in the future to service my vehicles!

This was my first time visiting Christian Brothers and I was very pleased with the outstanding service. They did the oil change, installed and aligned all four tires in my car in a record time. I highly recommend this place

Very professional, friendly, awesome and caring guys. Explained all the services I needed but didnt push me to do anything.Also used a short video to explain to me how car works and why I need a specific service- that was very helpful since I dont know a lot about carsps very clean place, free cookies and drinks ;)))
