Love this Home Depot! They have incredibly helpful and kind staff. The store is always well stocked and clean. Above else, they managed curbside pickup throughout the pandemic extremely well. I never had to wait in the parking lot for more than 15 minutes for my order.
Rented a tool rental tile saw was charged a deposit on my credit card.Dropped off Tile saw and was charged the rental on the credit card without authorization from me and when inquired to pay by debit was told I couldnt.This violates the consumer protection act and can not stress enough not to rent from thus location.

No one on the floor to assist customers? ONE cashier, monitoring the fast lane area (no other cashiers at the regular stations).All this at approx 10:00 AM, Sunday.Im not 100% sure, but if I was the owner, Id be having a heart-to-heart with the manager of the shift.Wait a minute-not enough staff means higher profit margins for the ownership....hmmm....
This store is a mess and you would think it would be easy to spot of employee with their orange aprons, that is if they had any employees in their employ... One person on cash and I have to check myself out? No discount for doing the work for you? Products absolutely everywhere.. Coporate needs to send a fixer there...
This is an edited version of a previous review for the same project.Hired a local pro through Huntsvilles HD to do our deck and patio. Deck not up to code, terrible workmanship, very rough. We had the problem corrected by an actual deck builder and brought up to code.Pro never bothered to put in the patio, just kept the deposit money.Local pro posted a couple of pictures of the deck on social media from a distance, looks great, up close not so great.Oh, and the contractor said he didnt even get his materials from HD after we hired him.Thank you.

I paid for a delivery to Novar for a product just under $900 & NO ONE came to the front door other wise they would have seen this note I left up for my daughter to answer the door for them to put it in my garage.No One knocked on the door or rang the door bell.... The delivery was *left in my driveway in plan eyesight for anyone to steal while I was at work!!!!*Thank God for my amazing Neighbor down the road knocked on my door for my daughter when they saw it just laying in the middle of my driveway & they put it in my garage for my daughter because it was way to heavy for her to move on her own!!.Im not impressed Home Depot, you need to train your delivery crew to do better for drop offs!!

ZERO STARS ISNT AVAILABLE - They LOST a 412lb package in shipment. What I believe happened is they didnt properly accept the package when it arrived to their store but you cant call in directly to a store and talk with anyone in customer service or management so it will remain a mystery. We could have built our own gazebo and have been using it in the time it took us to find out they LOST it in transit from manufacturer to store. One MONTH waiting for a gazebo that is now out of stock and can not be repurchased. Thanks for the horrible service.
Huntsville location had the best selection of tools in stock! Big kid in a candy store. Unfortunetly I was here for a toilet flapper and light switch cover plate. They had it all and friendly staff.
Renovating Kitchen. Ordered 3 appliances in MARCH, three months in advance. Allowed me to select delivery in early May.PAYMENET WAS TAKEN SAME DAY AS ORDERED, not when actually shipped, as with most Online Companies.Received NUMEROUS conflicting calls & emails changing dates from mid May to late July.Given conflicting information: will only be shipped as entire package, then Range would be shipped May 11, rest later in the summer.May 17 called about ETA; Range delivery date changed to September.Cancelled entire order.Supply is clearly an issue. Why process payment MONTHS in advance? Deposit would be better option. Why allow consumer to pick a delivery date, when clearly no hope? Why all the conflicting information? Does anyone truly know what is going on here?Will never order from Home Depot again.

Arrived to get a curbside order, there was no one else in the waiting area for curbside. After 30 min of waiting after confirmation of being there in a certain spot my order still hadnt been brought out.I went inside and found my order ready but no one was even attempting to bring it outside. As a contractor I rely on these services to not waste my time, and that is exactly what they did.When I mentioned it to the employee at customer service she didnt seem too worried about my negative experience, she did quickly get my order sheet and sent me on my way though so that was fine.Being a contractor I have used curbside pick up at Many home depot locations now, but I will avoid the huntsville location from now on. Im sure home hardware will appreciate my business.

Ask for help to load some plywood on the dolly and everyone said to me that I should ask at the front desk and when I went to the front desk everyone ignored me. These are not very helpful people customer service is not in their vocabulary
I had recently run into a problem with my home. The manager on duty Victoria and the people of the flooring department went out of their way to help me fix the problem. Great customer service. Quick and super helpful.
It is with great upset that I have to write this review.If I could give it a no star I would.I have been a customer at this Home Depot for the past 2 years since we purchased our home up here and I have never had an issue with the staff however today I had tried numerous times to place an online order and schedule delivery and the website said I had to call the store. As I called I spoke to a customer service gentleman who was actually very nice and once I explained the situation I was having online he assured me to come into the garden Center place and pay for my order plus the cost of delivery which was $79.00 I was very content and headed on over, As I entered the garden Center I was greeted by the new staff member who was polite and contacted the manger as she wasn’t familiar with this type of sale.After waiting nearly 10 minutes outside in the cold this arrogant man named Kevin with absolutely no people skills and no respect came out as I explained my situation and he rudely said ma’am we cannot process your order here. It has to be done online. I explained to Kevin the manager that I understood what he was saying but the person I spoke with assured me to come and proceed as I did. Kevin then said you know we are under a lockdown and that is the protocol again I said. Sr how can I place my order and have it delivered to my home as the order is very large. He rudely told me do it online I can’t help you and turned his back on me. I will never go there again just because of this mans attitude. It is very shameful that we are all in this lockdown. Stressed out and try to help our local business. But I guess they are too big and don’t care. How can someone with no scruples carry the position of a manager. Very disappointing 🤦🏻♀️

I have been coming to this home depot for that past 15 years and I always seem to get what I need and the staff is very friendly to me. HOWEVER... they dont seem to treat each other the same way. I was in the store earlier this week looking for some lumber when i noticed something very odd. One of the cashier called who I assume her supervise over to ask her something. After the short conversation the supervisor left rolling her eyes as if she was bothered and left the cashier in tears standing a the lumber door area. My heart was broken. There is no reason for anyone to leave anyone in tears after a conversation. That is just poor management. At least the supervise could of pull her off the floor. Not sure what happen but it did not look good. I hope the management of the store reads this and speaks with the supervisor. She has very curly hair, and she is short. I dont want to publicly give her name but that should be enough. I have seen the supervisor before, and had her a a cashier, and I dont think this is a one time incident based on my interactions. I hope the young lady is doing better.
The staff arent helpful. If you want anything youre better to online order than ask someone to find it for you! Theyll tell you they just dont have it. Weird when the online order is ready the same day. This has happened twice!! Save yourself the trouble of dealing with a staff member (especially garden centre) 🤷
EDIT - HD asked me to contact them about this and didnt respond. More evidence that its just optics.Rude on the phone about curbside pickup, so I cancelled the rest of my order.The website says they have 20+ available items in stock but it wont let me pick it up (ship to store only).Asked to confirm if anything other products of that type are in stock in store. Other website products have the same issue.The agent aggressively suggested I call the 800 number for my website questions.After clarifying I was asking what products I could purchase today from their location, I was again directed to talk to the 800 number in an exasperated tone. We dont have time to tell you whats in stockThis doesnt make any sense and they were rude about it.The entire interaction was less than 30 seconds because the agent had no interest in providing help.Called Home Hardware and they were lovely.

We were inside the Home Depot looking for tile, we were there with one other couple (we werent shopping together, didnt know them) but just 4 of us in the tile isle and distancing, along came a huge pile of other people, looked like they were also not shopping together - ended up must have been at least 10 to 15 people, we got out of there. Too many people, one lady was crawling under the bottom shelf trying to get tile. Complete mayhem in a pandemic!
This store does not know thee by-laws. The girls at the entrance keep refusing my entrance without a mask. Everybody knows they do not have the right to refuse my entrance do to no mask. They think they are above the law.
I had a delivery that was to come on Saturday, I waited all day..missed a friends special event because I was waiting ..no phone call saying that the delivery was delayed due to illness..nice job..phone call would have been nice about the delay of 2 days
I have been trying to talk to someone at this store all afternoon .... been calling and waiting for someone anyone to pick up the phone.It’s quite the turn off ....if I lived in Huntsville I’d drive there but I don’t.

I tried to place a crib side purchase. Not only is there website not set up for easy access to there products that can be ordered. It was impossible for me. I needed two sets of hinges and 8 coat hooks. I was told by the online chat service it would take 3 hours for them to fill my order. I was there at 8 am... Frustrating to say the least.
I hate having to chase after employees to get service.

Pete was gr8 giving me tips on cutting steel with the recip saw. Shanah (?) was great climbing a ladder to the top of aisle 11 to get me a battery not in the Ryobi display. But mostly Pete was outstanding by arranging a work around on a failed Ryobi benefit.
My roommate and I went to this location yesterday (Saturday, October 24th) to get a SINGLE piece of wood cut for a shelf. We grabbed the wood we wanted and carried it ourselves over to the cutting centre. We waited for about fifteen minutes with no sign of employees anywhere, so I went to look for someone. I had to walk to the opposite end of the store to find someone, her name was Nelly and she was nice. She tried paging for someone in lumber twice and then went somewhere else while I went back to my roommate. We waited for another ten minutes and then my roommate went to find someone to help us.We were waiting, after getting three seperate employees to attempt to page someone who could work the cutting equipment, for forty minutes before we decided to leave. We informed a woman at the Pro Desk who was sympathetic and polite. We werent the only customers standing helplessly around the lumber section trying to find some help. While searching for help, it was obvious to my roommate and I that the store is incredibly understaffed and the employees that are there either dont care, arent trained, or are stretched thin.Due to this being the only location nearby, we will unfortunately have to go back to try again at some point. Hopefully next time will be better.
Only online curbside. They were fantastic.
There were no of the flat top carts for the public. They were all being used by staff to temporarily store material obstructing many aisles.

Hi. Everyone!! This store in Huntsville Ontario has the best employees!!! I ordered a Bbq on line for my sons wedding .. after it didnt come and was delivered 6hours away to a different address.. called Home Depot.ca and the store. The awesome work crew from The home Depot in Huntsville and a great guy from Home Depot Waterloo Ontario ..made sure my sons wedding reception was going to happen.. I dont really know there they found me one. As the one I ordered is only SOLD on line..But to my surprise I got the one I ordered!!!! Made my year!!! And my sons wedding reception happen... !!!!! Thanks for all your help!!! You guys are Awesome!!!!!!
Its your typical smaller home depot. Friendly staff and tidy store. However they seem to have less inventory in stock and I end up driving to the Home Depot in Bracebridge more often than I would like. Accuracy of their inventory reported online is okay but can be flawed at times.
I am so frustrated with the Huntsville Home Depot! Customer service is terrible. I wish we had more options but Rolstons Home Hardware is a 100 times better in terms of service. I give up!
Had to go to Customer Service for a credit on a return and OMG they took their time! Only one staff member could access the vault apparently and I waited easily 25 minutes. No one seemed in any rush to solve the problem. As usual they are quick to make a sale but dont ask for any kind of service afterwards.
They are open in store again. They were very helpful and pleasant today.
Went through the obligatory line up at the social distance. Had great help in the plumbing department and bought a new style tap for a washing machine. Easy to install just as the man promised. Will use this new system as required.

I am attempting to order a product on-line & Home Depot is not giving me the option to pick-up curbside for free. They are charging a shipping fee of $26.00 for a $40.00 item that is listed in stock at this location. Ridiculous.
We were looking for some kind of wood to buy. We found what we needed and the guy who helped us told us that we can take a few cut/used pieces for free. When we choose a few we asked Mark to cut it for us and he refused saying that this are for sale. We explained that the other guy said its free used/cut boards and Mark said no!The another employee told him common Mark its Christmas but he refused to help. We went to talk to Karen one of the ladies in the front and she called Jocelyn the manager. She told him to cut it for us and give it to us for free and if another employee said its free so its free. Also she gave us 50% off for the other items we bought.Thank you so much for the help! 2 days later we were back for more shopping just because of your amazing customer service.

Great store. Always clean and well stocked. I am a frequent customer to this location during the summer months and have always found what I needed at the price Id expect to pay. No apparent up-charges due to the Northern Location. Staff is always friendly and willing to help. Always a pleasure to come back.
The people working here are very personable and accommodating. Huge shout out to Mark who helped me just after closing, but still while customers were checking out. He heard my plea for a specific need and had me follow him into the store, let other workers it was for a very quick need, and took me straight to what I needed!

I would give it well really two safe members a 10 but the store its self is disorganized and when I checked in for curbside pick up after 15 mins I when in only to find it NEVER notified then that I was out side.
Staff want to be helpful, but misdirected me. And there is only self check-out with assistance if needed. Couldnt they have one cashier available?

Curb side pickup is horrible. Only two other people here and the wait is 40 min to get the goods you ordered. They seem very disorganized and confused. They bring one order out at a time and most orders I’m seeing are small items. I don’t know why they couldn’t bring out three orders at one go.They have the curb side pickup located in the furthest side of the parking lot so the employees have to was to the furthest part of the parking lot to deliver the orders.Not well planned at all.
Got a kitchen faucet and needed 3/8 fittings and Jeff helped me find what I needed.

Its Home Depot, if they dont have what you need then youre probably doing it wrong.They always have useful sales and often have superb prices on quality Brand-name tools.And obviously a good place to get a house load of drywall or all the nonsense youll need for that deck you havent finished off yet.
I asked for something to be brought down from high storage....and they did it! It was waiting for me when I arrived! Great job guys!
This is a friendly, always helpful and knowledgeable general home renovation, building and supply store.They do their best to help you solve problems or locate related merchandise.They help load your trailer or vehicle or cut your wood selections to size (within reason).I would give 5 stars for service but this store is a somewhat abbreviated version of most larger Home Depots you maybe used to. It doesnt carry a full range of HD stock.
Huntsville is more knowledgeable n friendly than Bracebridge.

We just shopped there last Friday and Mack (Malcolm) in Millwork went above and beyond to serve our needs. A gentleman in lighting also hunted down the products we were looking for and couldn’t find. Dana in lumber was also very pleasant to us, a great experience! We strongly recommend shopping on a Friday night, it’s super quiet and convenient when making purchase decisions especially with kids in tow. Thank you Home depot!

Home Depot well I wish they would get people in there that knows what they are as he talkin about Im looking for a generator and nobody seems to know anything about it so Im not sure what is up with all that are you guys short stopped or what but nobody seems to know what theyre doing in the Departments so I think that theres a bit of a problem in the manager Department over all of it somebody should be checking into this
This is a smaller Home Depot but they still have most stuff. They have all the lumber you need. Not alot of outdoor plumbing or irregation plumbing supplies or materials for fix ups. They only have the basic parts you might need. If youre looking for something specific it would be a good idea to call a week or two if possible to have it ordered so it is available when you need it.
I had several people ask if i needed help which is a great touch.The garbage can i wanted was in stock but they had to get the panel down in the garden centre.It was sweet they apologized to me for not keeping it stocked even though i wasn’t expecting an apology since stuff like that happens

Fantastic experience on having materials delivered to cottage. When we realized we hadnt ordered enough, we went back in to see if there was any chance to get a 2nd last-minute delivery, on a long weekend no less. They stepped up, said theyd make sure we got our delivery one way or another, and it was there before 10 a.m. They were also kind enough to waive a second delivery charge which was much appreciated and unexpected. Thanks again!
