So, I have been searching for a good mechanic/shop in the area for quite some time. I finally needed to get some repairs done, and these guys quickly have me a rough estimate quote, which the wife and I accepted. They repaired our vehicle very quickly, and even found a missing frame bolt and ordered and put it on our vehicle at no extra cost. They are very nice, honorable people, knowledgeable mechanics, and they listen to what you say well. These are true car guys. If you want an affordable, honest mechanic to do quality work on your vehicle, try these guys. They are going to get my repeat business for sure.

Theyre also very friendly and have a quick turn-around time. I dont take my car anywhere else, you shouldnt either.From putting in catalytic converters that were cut out, to replacing water pumps and finding out that you need a new a/c compressor, these guys do it all.

I believe this is the best value auto mechanic in all of Kansas City. Not only are Wes and his team knowledgeable and incredibly nice, but they literally have the best prices every single time I need something done.And believe me, I usually get a quote from different shops because I live in the Overland Park area and Wess shop is in independence. But you know what, their pricing still beats everyone elses by such a substantial amount that Ill drive the 30 minutes to get it done by them.I cannot recommend Wes and Western Motor Exchange enough. Wes it the best! He saved me $2000 from Aamco telling me I need a new transmission. It was a flippin exhaust bracket $25 later and I am very happy. I dont take my car into mechanics b/c I have a natural distrust with having people do things I can do for myself, but Wes has changed my opinion of mechanics. He spoke to me very clearly and concisely about exactly what he was going to do and answered all my questions unlike the other shops I called. The place doesnt look stellar from the outside but the service is awesome. Just keep an open mind when you go there and know that you are working with honest people, which is the most important thing!
