In addition to repairs I requested the tires be rotated & balanced. Was told balance wasn’t needed. Charged for rotation. After car pickup and shaking, was told the tires needed to be balanced at another shop of my choice. Wouldn’t have had rotation if told that before work. Other place found a bent wheel not diagnosed during the $185 level 1 & 2 Diagnostics at Christian Brothers. Brake plate was rubbing and making noise after car was picked up. Fixed when car was returned. Other work performed seems to be good. Overall less than fully satisfied with this shop.

My first time with Christian Brothers (CB) was my son’s car. We thought it was oil leaking and brought to Firestone but they couldn’t find the problem. Then my neighbors recommended us to bring to CB, and yes they found the problem and fixed it! We couldn’t be happier and very impressed!The second and recent time was my car which just stopped working. They did a wonderful job to find and fix the problem in a shortest time and offered a lift to my house while my dealer, Molle Chevrolet tried to take advantage of me. Bringing our cars to CB just feels like we are in good hands! Surely we just come here every time our cars have problems. Thank you CB for having an A+ team which was very professional, polite, responsible, responsive, skilled, efficient and reasonable!

As per usual, my experience at Christian Brothers was extremely satisfying. They performed the work promised faster than anticipated for the price mentioned. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. I was in a time crunch when came time to pick up my vehicle and to my surprise they offered to deliver it to my home. No additional charge, just as a courtesy. Who does THAT anymore? Few if any.I recommend Christian Brothers to anyone looking for quality repairs and service.

This was my first time here and they were great! So nice and reliable and fixed something on my car McCarthy Chevrolet damaged and wouldnt fix. I will definitely bring my car back here for future repairs.

Between 3 cars, weve gone to Christian brothers probably a half dozen times and every time the service has been great. Prices are fair. I mentioned a sound on the last visit and asked if there was an obvious cause and they did a temp fix without charge. Their drop off/pick up service is a life saver and I have never once had reason to believe they were trying to get me to agree to more work than was necessary or reasonable. Honest. Fair. Convenient. Polite.

As a female so many times I feel I’ve taken advantage of and pay more than what I expected. Feeling hopeless and helpless at times I don’t know what to do because I can’t trust a shop or mechanic. I was referred to CBA and it was a blessing, they were very professional and they did something no other shop had done, they showed me the part they took off my car and explain everything to me. They were very good with communication. I felt they were very expensive even with the discount. They delivered the car when it was finished . It had been sitting for about a year so it was really dirty when they got it but after Spending $2400 I thought they would’ve at least rinsed it off if not washed it for us. I was very disappointed in that.

Replaced cooling pump in a Toyota Hybrid and checked the AC system. They where very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend them to anyone who needs something done to their vehicle.The cost was reasonable.

I should have wrote this review a long time ago. All I have to say is that they told me I had a problem which I did not have. Im very fortunate that I had mechanical experience. and Ive heard from other businesses in the surrounding area that they in no way would use Christian Brothers.It happened at least 3 years ago. You all tolded me I needed a lower control arm. A guy brought a pipe in the office oh I cant break it. My dads has a shop so I took it over to him there was no problem it loosened easily.Ive had other businesses tell me about you pretty much said you were con artist.I know what I experienced.

After having a trailer tire lose its tread while traveling down the highway, Christian Brothers was the closest quality business that I knew of, and called. The owner himself answered the phone and although he didnt have the tire I needed in stock, he generously offered me the opportunity to park and drop my trailer in his lot. He also offered to take the wheel off and put it back on, without charge, after I got the tire replaced elsewhere. If that doesnt speek to the generosity and quality humanity of the owner and business, I dont know what does. Thank you again, and I look forward to giving them my money in the future!

I received excellent customer service at Christian Brothers Automotive in Independence,MO. In speaking with Eric over the phone he was courteous and polite as I explained what my car was doing. He was able to schedule an appointment over the phone as well as send a text message to notify me when my appointment was and when my car was getting worked on. I appreciated their concierge service in taking me home while my car was getting worked on. I had a Costco membership and received an excellent discount as well. They also offer easy to use financing for 6 months and no interest on payments 199 or more through Synchrony.

I am visiting from out of town and having issues with my transmission. Being a holiday week, there are a lot of cars to be worked and they werent able to fit me into the schedule. They went above and beyond trying to make sure I was able to get service at a different shop and helped me with getting a tow truck to transport my vehicle there. Thank you!!!

I am only leaving 1 star because it does not allow me to leave zero. I arrived for my 8:00 appointment today and was told that I did not have an appointment. I repeatedly said that I did and even showed the 2 emails and 1 text confirmation to which the man stated well did we call you? I said no, he stated well if we didnt call you to confirm then it wasnt set up. He then states that this thing with Repair Pal hardly ever works out because people want to set up next day appointments I then advised that I had requested an appointment through Repair Pal (car warranty) for 06/21 over a week ago and that I was sent an email to say they were waiting on your shop to confirm. When my confirmation email was sent the date that the shop could do it was 06/25/21 at 8am. After standing trying to argue my point the man states well you can leave it FOR THE DAY and we will try to squeeze it in otherwise it will be next week. That was unacceptable as I CLEARLY made an appointment and I do not have ALL DAY for an 8am appointment. I was made to feel like I made an error when in fact it wasnt my error at all. Christian Brothers accepted no responsibility and I dont even think they apologized. Just pretty much blamed Repair Pal and myself for not knowing I should have gotten a call from them to confirm. Also- I called Christian Brothers to see what their scheduled looked like on 06/18/21 and was given the exact same time frame that was CONFIRMED through Repair Pal. The man at the service desk then asked well do you know who you spoke with ? Of course not but If I did would it change the fact that Im standing here at 8am with THREE confirmations of the appointment that I apparently didnt have? Waste of time and very frustrating. Christian Brothers needs to DO BETTER AND TRY NOT TO BLAME THE VENDORS THAT YOU CLEARLY HAVE CONTRACTED WITH!

Ive used these guys twice through CarMaxs warranty service and they deliver every time. They came through with results and super timely. I figured Id have to leave my vehicle over the weekend, which is fine, but they got the parts and had it done before hand. Never an issue with communication either, as they also have a text feature that updates you through the process. Great guys.

Needed a factory key made and they were able to handle the entire process of getting the key from Mercedes and programming it. Wonderful experience

I first went here because I needed a general repair car shop that my neighbors felt could be trusted. That is exactly what I got. I never felt like I was being misled in any way. Everyone who works there is polite and helpful. They go out of their way to explain as much as you want to know. Their parking lot is always packed, but they are somehow able to move big projects through quickly. I will never go anywhere other than this place for my car repair needs.

They just had me sign for the work and gave me my key. It wasnt until I left that I realized why they didnt charge me. Any other place would have charged me for the work and I wouldnt have known any better. Prayers for my friend who passed away recently. 🙏

After describing my issue and showing them previous work info,, it only took one time for Christian Brothers to get the alignment corrected and all in the green. Very upset with this Company.Was told if we dropped our vehicle off over night Sunday, it would be the first one in Monday Morning.Noon Monday rolls around and we call them to find out the guy to look at it wont even be there until 1 or 2.We call that evening and they really hadnt looked at it and were confused about the missing parts (door panel pieces that were literally laying in the back seat).We informed them at that time that we had a brand new switch we forgot to leave there. The guy on the phone said to just drop it by that evening or first thing in the morning. Next morning however, we were told we could not use our brand new part that we HAD to use theirs. Theirs is $250.00 Ours from  OREILLY and WITH a warranty was only $56.00. Talk about a mark up!!! It was JUST a switch, two clips in and out switch but they wanted us to pay $200.00 MORE for theirs!Anyhow, they hadnt got to really look at it yet, and the guy even said, because there were other customers ahead of us upset because of their vehicles were supposed to be done that previous Friday and werent.Finally on Wednesday, we get quoted $785.00 to possibly fix the issue. That included the $250.00 part WE ALREADY HAD THAT THEY NOW WOULD NOT LET US USE, that included the USED fuse panel they needed to buy (they dont make them anymore), that included new wiring harnesses to the switches (which they told us werent that bad and could honestly just be cleaned), and the wiring to and from since it was corroded...Anyway, the wrong part came in and they knew we needed our vehicle for the holiday so they said we could pick it up and bring it back the following Sunday night for repair on Monday Morning.We get the vehicle back and NOTHING was done. They didnt even clean the connectors. The wiring is not corroded, and we will not be taking our vehicles there

I was on my way to work one morning when my battery light illuminated. I called when they opened to see if I could have the alternator checked. I dropped it off with them and they provided transportation for me back to my place of employment. Not only did they check the alternator but they replaced it and I was back on the road that same day, by the end of my workday. They are always professional, honest, and courteous. I won’t take my car anywhere else!

If I could give them 10 stars I would- what a truly incredible group of people and I will definitely be recommending them and taking my vehicles here in the future. First, youll love their text update system that prompts you exactly when and what theyre doing with your car. But my experience- we had a vehicle towed here a couple weeks ago because the engine all the sudden sounded terrible. They eventually found that it had burned through all of its fluids and they did what they could to revive it but ultimately realized it was pretty much totalled. Our only realistic option at that point was to have it junked and scrounge up for a new (used) vehicle in short order. Our bill for the diagnosis, fluids and labor was a very reasonable $120 and we were just waiting for the wrecker to show up and give us a couple hundred for it and then we were going to essentially turn around and hand that over for our bill and head home. However the owner mustve learned of our situation, because after a few minutes a tech came up to us and told us not to worry about the service and that the owner had decided to take care of our bill for us... of course we were shocked- hell it took me a minute to even understand what he meant as thats just something you dont expect from an auto shop. I tried to offer a cash tip for whoever worked on it which seemed like the least I could do but he refused to take it. It had really been a rough couple weeks so it was just an absolute blessing to be on the other end of this generous act of kindness by the owner and employees of Christian Brothers- something we wont soon forget. Thank you so much you guys- yall are amazing!

Christian Brothers Automotive is the best. They are straight forward, fair, reasonably priced, honest, and all things good really. They have one of the cleanest restrooms of any auto shop I have ever been to, a lovely waiting room, and the staff are super friendly. They are skilled as far as I can tell and they do a great job for me, no matter if its a simple oil change or something more complex! They are great and I only have the best things to say about them.

Probably one of the best experiences Ive had in dealing with an automotive shop. They took pictures of potential issues and compiled a whole report. I was able to actually see issues instead of feeling like I might be taken advantage of. Will definitely continue to use them for all my vehicles.

Cant say Im happy with my experience here at christian automotive. To begin. I arrived 5 min late and they were very understanding. No issues. Was offered coffee to my delight sense I hadnt had time to stop on my way there. They got my car right in. After determining the issue with my car door handle (a little latch tab thingy that had broken off) they quoted me approximately $450 plus the $60 service for diagnosing the issue. $510 for the total job. Not to mention on the phone I was told they would look at both my doors for the $60 price. They were not inclined to do so after I explained to them thats what derek (desk representative) told me they would do. I looked online to find that the only part I would actually need to fix my issue my $15-40 depending on whether you go with amazon, ebay, or just o reillys. Just like a lot of mechanics they would rather replace as much as they can and offer as much as there labor time to ensure you have the highest bill possible without having you run out the door. Not all mechanics are like this one. Not saying this is what happens with every job they do but it definitely happened with this job. I would go somewhere else and save yourself a couple hundred dollars. Or you could just do it yourself and save your self $480 plus 1/2 hour of your time.To recap1. Everyone was friendly2. Everyone was thorough with there explanation of the job needed to be done3. Man who writes up bill is very greedy or company policy is4. Coffee was great5. What was offered on my phone was not done in person.6. Save yourself money and go somewhere else or do it yourself

If I could do no stars, I would. I went in for an alignment via a referral and was told that I needed a ball joint replaced before an alignment could be made. I had just had said ball joint replaced to pass an inspection. I ended up going to the dealership for the alignment and had it done without any issues or new discoveries. In the area of pricing and the saying of too good to be true would definitely apply here. The customer service was very pleasant up to the point of the phone call for the ball joint. No pulling of the sheeps wool over these eyes.Thanks to Tim, Josh, and Eric for reaching out to me to rectify my experience. However, after two attempts to reschedule another visit for a review, my schedule will not permit a third attempt.

I had an appointment for Friday morning at 8 am to have a diagnostic done to see why I had the error messages popping up in my vehicle. I received a call at 8:32 discussing the issues with the car after the diagnostic test. Fast forward to 2:46 pm and i still had not been called back so I called and they had not gotten to my car yet to fix it. They call back a half hour later to let me know there is no way they can get it done. I let them keep it over the weekend thinking it will be done early monday and I can get it right after work. Fast forward to Monday and I call at 1 pm and nothing has been done. I call again at 3 pm and it still has not been worked on. I had to call basically every single time to see what was going on with my vehicle. A couple of apologies on the phone and nothing else was done to make it right. I call again at almost 6 pm and am told I can pick up my car. Then I get a call from them telling me I can pick up my car (from a different person in the shop). This place needs to work on communication. What a cluster. I will not be back.

I got my alignment and passenger tire rod done. I had quite the day that day and Josh still was able to squeeze me in due to my out of control situation. I thank him very much and appreciate his honesty about my car. Also the place is very nice and clean. And Free Wi-Fi (lol)

I have two cars plus the maintenance on my Dads. The service reps are up front about what really needs to be done now and what you can wait to repair. The prices are fair and I didn’t feel they overinflated the prices like some other repair shops. Super friendly and they have a drop off service that will help with arrangements on pickup or bring the car to you if you don’t have a ride. Great service you can trust!

Very busy location. Their parking lot was literally over flowing and they were still able to get my wifes car in and out quickly. The front desk guys were extremity nice. The front lobby was clean and comfortable. Added bonus of this location is the Mexican restaurant across the parking lot. They have a salsa buffet 😊

I used Christian Brothers to get a wheel off of my car (lugnut tightened too tight & was stripped in an attempt to remove it). I was referred to them by DT after couldnt remove it. 2 people spent 2 hours trying to remove it & resorted to using a blow torch. They drove to DT to pick up my tire for the new wheel after they got the TPMS sensor off the old, offered to drive me home since they needed to replace the stud after torching it off & couldnt get the part until the following day. Still had 4 lugnuts on the wheel, so I drove home & returned the next day for the 5th stud. They offered to come pick my car up the 2nd day to work on it so I could still work. They really went above and beyond, and I will forever recommend them to everyone I know.

Took our car there to just have 1 lug stud replaced said it would take a hour, 4 hours later we call they are still not done with it when we went to pick it up they had it fixed but also did a alignment that we never asked for and they never called to ask if we wanted it done
