I love this place, its totally old school and not for everyone. Ted is a legend, one of the 1st Kawasaki dealerships. The stories the man has are priceless - he is the real deal.

Great place to have your Bike worked or Buy a Scooter if Ted is around...Never had a problem with prices, service or parts... Bought 2 schooters from there and have had many Bikes worked on at this place...The Rudeness that humans are talking about comes from MARK... comes across as being a Know it All Smart A...Again great place as long as Ted is around...Bypass the Chunky Mark and just ask for Ted...

This a great place to buy a sport cycle and the owner is a wonderful person .Were always pleased to say that, When we need parts, we have been able to find @ the INDEPENDENCE Sport Cycle on 23 rd street in INDEPENDENCE Missouri

Took my bike to have them get it running right and after over $600 worth of work got it back with a broke seat lock from forcing it off, broken gas cap from using from what I’m guessing a crowbar to try and remove it (didn’t know the key has to be in to remove), gas spilled all over the gas tank ruining the paint, and it didn’t run any better than when I took it in. Terrible customer service when confronting them about everything. Just unprofessional all around, would not recommend to anyone.

Very rude and way over priced. Tried to sell a Dunlop tire for 180.00. definitely would not recommend nor will I ever take my business there

Im sad to see such negative Reviews. I have had many positive experiences! They have shipped me parts quickly when I broke down in southern missouri. They have good prices for their services, and you can actually get in to see these guys. I have gone in for a tune up, and they have tightened and fixed other things for free. These guys know what they are doing.

Awesome shop. Wish I was closer. I just needed an inspection, but I was so impressed Ill now be ordering new tires from them as well.

Worst service hands down..... never even got a chance to walk in and meet the guy myself. Very disrespectful over the phone, lack of knowledge, barley knew what I was talking about. almost as if he doesn’t even work there.. tried to charge me $50 bucks for a pick up when I’m only 8 miles away. Like what??? Highly don’t recommend this shop for ANYBODY... he should be glad we didn’t have this conversation in person.. He wouldn’t like me LOL

Unfortunately poor to fair is the lowest rating offered. It is no where close to describing how unprofessional, untrustworthy, disrespectful, unknowledgeable, and overpriced the business is. It is sad that Kawasaki is affiliated in anyway shape or form with them. The people that work there are rude to you when you walk through the door. They are not very knowledgeable in the product the sell. The inventory is weak, they have to order most anything needed and then figured out that they also mark up shipping charges in order to make money on that as well. They make promises that they dont keep. I just can not say enough to everyone please find someplace else to do business. They will treat you poorly, overcharge you and send you away feeling like you need to take a shower.

They wanted $20.00 for a fuel hose, that was $5.50 at a different kawasaki dealership.

They charged me $54.00 to change a tire off the bike. They charged $42.00 for an inner tube. I should have checked their prices ahead of time. Buyer beware.
