Gary is the best! This is the second time we’ve come to see him. No matter how busy he is he always has a smile, so friendly and ready to serve. He takes his time with you and never makes you feel rushed. Customer service is a rare commodity nowadays and I am happy to see that LensCrafters at PG Plaza still has it!

I just had the most awesome glasses purchasing experience today! I was greeted as soon as I walked in the store. I said I was looking to purchase glasses. I was given a box in which to put the frames I wanted to try on. I was told about the discounts available on lenses and frames. I tried on frames, decided on what I wanted. I was measured for the glasses and lenses. I enjoyed the friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere. I have been buying glasses online since 2017. Lens Crafters will be my place of choice moving forward! The people were extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated that they could answer my questions and I left happy that I had gone to the right place to purchase glasses. I bought 2 pair! I am happy and the glasses will be ready later today! Thank you Ms. Dawn and Mr. Gary and the Lens Crafters store staff at the Mall at Prince Georges!!!

Nelson, took time out of his duties to come and assist me and let me know a lot about the work that would be put into my glasses! I am so happy with my decision in choosing this location! What a pleasant glassware experience. Ms. Dawn and Mr. Gary provided excellent service for my eye care needs. Gary was patient and very informative about my glassware selections. Gary took his time and made accurate measurements for my progressive glasses using a unique software to measure my frames.My eye examination was good by The KLA staff. I enjoyed getting my eye tested using the bew software without dilating my eyes. Dr. B was a excellent optometrist/professional eye glass scientist. Although he did look as sharp as a tack, he optometrist skills were great.The eye selection was good but not great as the designer select was very limited. I suggest moving the designer select to the back of the store to help prevent theft in this very active mall. I feel the designer glasses were limited compared to the selection you get a other LensCrafters locations further away. I believe many professionals people come to this location for convenience. Please provide a wider selection of glasses for hardworking, professional people who enjoy shopping at this location.

From the moment I walked in, I was treated with nothing but pure respect and dignity. From the front to the back the whole staff worked as one. Service that I was treated with was on another level. I went in to get repairs on the glasses I have, but before I left I had two new pair. Treating people in a way that I wanted to be treated always works for me and they did just that. The quality of service was a 10 and I will tell all my friends to go to PG Plaza location for the same level of service. I felt like family.

I broke my glasses in the middle of the night!! Totally freaked out!!! I was able to go online a make an appointment for the very next day!! Once I arrived Gary was excellent and very patient. I was able to get not only two pairs of glasses the same day but also two pair that I truly loved!!! I will be referring everyone to Gary! Nelson is true to his craft! My lenses look amazing. GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!Very bad services - the two African American staff i encountered there are unprofessional, slow, didn’t come to my service when I was choosing the frames, and incapable to solve issues or answer any questions related to my eye insurances or frame estimate. They are raciest towards Asian customers and made me feel very uncomfortable. I don’t encourage Asians to go there for bad experience.

The customer service I experience at the PG Plaza Mall location was phenomenal! I called in before coming into the store and quickly connected with that person (John) when I walked in and he helped me find the perfect frames. He also up-sold me on transitional lens. I had a fun shopping experience that day and would definitely recommend that location to others.

Customer service was very good. They setup for COVID19 cleaning very good, when you touch a pair of glasses you have to put them a separate box to clean. they were always cleaning..

10/10, the store was great, the staff, especially the manager, went above and beyond both in getting me the glasses early and in knocking the price down.

Store hours posted as beginning at 10 AM- opened at 11. Personnel are friendly, consumer oriented and COVID conscious. My problem was solved quickly. Designer frames are not robust and of lower quality than expected.

The optometrist office (KLA Vision P.C.) at this location is the absolute WORST! I went in for a 12:30 appointment, arrived a few minutes early for paperwork. Instead of receiving said paperwork, I was left waiting for over an hour while the rude receptionist told me I couldnt be seen as they couldnt get into the system to verify my insurance, although they were given an authorization number via telephone.Not once did either of the receptionists apologize for how long I had to wait nor did they seem to care. I ended up having to walk out as I no longer had the patience for their incompetence.I would advise everyone to AVOID this optometrist office like the plague. Their customer service is severely lacking and there are many other offices available that treats their customers far better.

Had an appointment today for a normal exam for contacts. The young lady said I had to have an examination for glasses although I wasnt there for glasses. I said ok..filled out the paperwork and she told me my total will be $89 I said for what my copay is $10.. Well there are additional services they add that you cant say no to.. I left never experience not having an options for additional services. What a waste of time..never again

Very friendly service. They were very infomative throughout my eye test process, which was quick and easy with very little waiting time. The only reason I did not leave 5 stars is because my insurance is supposed to cover eye exams and dilation, but because of COVID, the Dr. explained that dilation was not possible so they would use a machine to look at the eyes. While the process was much easier this way, it cost me an unexpected $45. I really wish they would have warned me of this ahead of time.

Waiting time can be long sometimes, but staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They need a broader variety of brands. They mostly carry Ray-Ban

I was in the same store in Hyattsville, MD store (The Mall at Prince Georges) two years ago and now a couple days ago, and noticed HUGE improvement in the quality of service. The store is so well run, the staff is so helpful, and the new manager (Dawn) is absolutely awesome! Go LensCrafters!

I found the perfect frames online and called ahead and had them be placed aside. When I arrived I tried on my new frames and fell in love. Anthony did a very good job at making sure I was happy with my new glasses and that they fit 100% correctly. Unfortunately I had to come back 2 weeks later because my frames were bent. I went to the counter and the guy (short black hair with black glasses and tattoos on his arms) told me he wasnt sure if he could fix them, he could try to bend them back into place but hes not responsible if they break. I was LIVID! Having just spent $200 on glasses this is NOT what I wanted to hear. If I wanted that kind of service I could have saved myself the gas and stayed at home and attempted it myself! He did not even bother to ask me if I had a warranty. Seeing my visible frustration Anthony soon walked over and began asking me questions, remembering me from my previous visit. He quickly looked at my glasses and had a solution. Within minutes he returned and my glasses were fixed, this time they fit even better than before! This location is a hit or miss with the associates. If you find the right one its a great location, if not it can easily become a place you would not want to return to.

Much like other reviews I’ve read here, my experience was horrible. The wait time, the overcharging, and bad customer service was the worst.Dr. Lee was rude and dismissive to my concerns in a way that frankly undermined my intelligence. And on top of that, I was given an incorrect prescription. I left feeling like I wasted my time and money. Never again..

I stopped here and asked if they could fix a lens that kept popping out of its frame. The manager, Kristopher, took on the project himself, and after meticulously assessing the lens in question, removed the other lens and found that a small plastic thread was stabilizing its position; the thread was missing from the problem lens. He cut a short plastic thread from his tool drawer and inserted it with the problem lens and the problem was solved. Considering the meticulousness of the work, the superfine dexterity required, I was amazed that he accomplished it in less than 15 minutes. The charge: gratis. I would definitely recommend this Lenscrafters.

The eye exam is the worst especially the lady at the front desk they miss placed my paperwork with all my personal information on it and then said we dont have any paperwork that my wife just filled out for me and then act like Im worng to be mad my social security number on the paper Doctor all type of stuff that shouldnt be miss place .

I completely agree with many other reviewers. I went there today for vision testing. There was no rush at all. I only saw 2 other people. The wait after paperwork and between the assistant and doctor was v long. I took naps each time. The assistant asked me if i want to pay for additional imaging and other stuff and i said No. Then the receptionist asked me the same thing and i said No. She also told me about additional costs to release that record to my PCP plus additional cost for printing those for the release plus additional cost for mailing.When I said no for extra stuff, the doctor comes and was pushy. He showed unprofessional anger that i am not doing extra things and said that we are done. The receptionist gave me the prescription. The doctor didnt say a single word about what type of vision glasses i need or whatever....Take home message:Shady business, very unprofessional, very greedy, devious staff, rude and arrogant doctor.I will not go there again. Avoid this place!

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! My kid has been wearing glasses for the past 3 years. We usually go to the lens crafters in Ballston but the eye doctor there moved. I should have found somewhere else because 4 hours to wait for an exam and glasses that a week and 2 days later my kid still doesnt have. I called the store was left on eternal hold only for someone to tell me to call back the next day to speak to a manager. The eye doctor was cool but the practice seems greedy like why am I paying 90 extra bucks for you to tell me what I already know! NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN!!!!!!!

Bad experience. I scheduled an appointment for tomorrow (Tuesday) through their website about 2 weeks ago. Today I got a call saying they havent been available on Tuesdays since May of last year (about 9 months ago, they didnt update the website to reflect that). Today I got a text from them asking to confirm tomorrows appt (I did), and then I get a call a few hours later saying no one will be there. Barely got an apology and the woman on the phone blamed a colleague.

I went with someone else, for an eye exam and new glasses alone. We had a set appointment and all. The whole ordeal took over 3 hours. We spent the first 30 minutes just waiting to be given the basic medical insurance paperwork. The prices arent good enough for all the time you waste. Your time is better spent elsewhere.

This was the worst experience ever! The doctor was rude, condescending, and has no beside manner whatsoever. I was waiting for an exorbitant amount of time (over an hour to be seen), of which I felt as I was being upsold on everything. There was a fee for everything, and when I questioned the fee and what did the service entail, the doctor retorted rudely. The last straw was during the final part of my visit, my eyes were dilated - once they were completely dilated, they attempted to be upsell on another service. This service was the only reason my eyes were dilated. They try to pressure you to purchase the additional services. That last stunt was an extremely deceptive tactic to boost sales. I WILL NEVER RETURN!

This place is practicing in some type of shadowy business practices. I came in as new patient left in the exam room for 45 mins where I fell asleep. Doctor came in did his exam and left. Not many question or conversation. Then the little girl who bought me in the first time comes back in asking if I was to be dilated. I said yes cause my insurance covers it. Then she said the doctor recommends an Extended Health Exam (EHA) that cost $30. The paper she gave me was about a paragraph long with no real description of this EHA. After an exchange of words I said yes Ill do but I want a copy of it. So she leaves and come back and says oh we cant give you a copy cause its now part of your medical records and you need to pay $15 to obtain a copy of your records. So I declined the service. Then she says the doctor recommend rear eye imagining for each eye and each eye is $30 . I declined that as well. Im now sitting and waiting for him to look at into my eyes after dilation. Im not even going to buy my glass here cause they are on straight BS. BE ADVISED NOT USE LENSCRAFTERS!
