Not impressed. We had bought a storage unit a few weeks ago. Today is moving day and we had to put most of our belongings in said storage unit. We arrive at our unit that we rented and there is a lock on it that is not ours! We tried calling office, no answer. Went to the office, no one was there when I stopped at the office, when it’s supposed to be open. My guess is they gave our unit to someone else, considering the lock they had on it was not the usual locks they sell. Very unimpressed.

Very user friendly place, security was impressive. Staff was helpful and very friendly. The price was a little much but I guess you get what you pay for. The app that allowed you to open the gate from your phone was awesome. I thank the staff for clueing me in on that. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wasnt on a tight budget.

Even though they’re a part of a bigger corporation, the facilities in Hutchinson have been so wonderful in their customer service and are very prompt in calling people back with a fast response time.Special shout out to Luanne who seems to do a great job of keeping the ship tidy and running smooth.

I was looking for a unit to store my grandfarhers things when he was moved into assisted living. The gentleman that assisted me was very knowledgeable and friendly. He advised me on the best size to select for the things that needed to be stored and he was 100% correct. It fit perfectly with not too much unused space. I would definitely recommend this place for storage purposes. Exceptional!

I had a great experience renting a storage unit with them! I was always able to have access to my unit, I always knew my items were safe, and I always knew that I could call them to help me with any questions or concerns I had regarding my storage. When I needed to get into my unit after it snowed, they were super helpful to plow the area so I could get in and call me when it was available for my use. I would absolutely rent a storage space with them again!

Lonnie and Cheryl are great. They are so great to talk to and when my mom came to the shed and brought up an issue, Lonnie was there and fixed it right away. We feel great about Public Storage and we like that you need a code to enter the location to even get to the shed.

Previous owners and management were absolutely ridiculous and lied about repairs to the units. My unit has flooded for the second time, this time with much more water and a lot of ice. However, Lonnie from this new company that took over the property, came out immediately when I called and offered information, ideas, and provided ample options I wasn’t even considering the first go-round. I was able to get a much bigger unit far less likely to have water issues over on the locked property this time. The door opens smoothly with little to no effort, while my other one I was promised multiple times by the previous owners would be fixed, was REAL difficult to open each and every time. Lonnie, Cheryl, and Sharon were all great, helpful, and sympathetic- this is the third time I’ve moved all of my household goods- the situation was super stressful but made much easier by compassionate and understanding people to work with! I wasn’t rushed or made to feel like a pain. built rapport quickly with people who work for this new company and would definitely recommend storage over at this locked part of the facilities. It took three entire days of cleaning, repacking, and moving but it got done, I made some changes this time and added tarps to help with condensation per Lonnie’s suggestion. All smaller items were put into clean and dry Rubbermaid tubs with tight fighting covers, and nothing touched any of the walls, there’s good air flow, and room to move about- this new one is bigger, also another suggestion from lonnie and Cheryl :) have your mattresses put into the plastic bags and keep them sealed and OFF the floor, put furniture up on blocks (I did, but the water was much higher this time so I went with two now!) and get rid of stuff ya don’t need or can easily replace. This place is great and they have plenty of experience and ideas to help ya out if you’re stuck trying to figure out storage!

Nick was super helpful on the corporate office phone line to reserve our spot. Then, Cheryl found us the perfect 10 x 10 unit this morning! The process was clear and simple. I feel totally confident in Public Storage!

Cheryl is wonderful. I needed to get a unit and am in PA and not near a Public Storage. She took care of everything and is so courteous and professional. She rented it to my daughter and I cant wait to meet her in person when I get there!

I have been renting my storage unit since the spring of 1990. The storage unit has passed threw several owners since I started renting. The latest ownership change was in the summer of 2018. It went from Central Self Storage to Public Storage. Lonnie, the new manager, has been working with me to keep the price of my unit lower than the latest increase. My longevity in renting has made a big difference. 29 years so far.Lonnie has been a big help.

Worst experience began when public storage purchased Hutchinson storage! Payment issues had to go in 3 times and I work in iowa then when my key got lost no help with that either so grateful to be gone from there. Raised my contracted price said they could do that wouldnt rent from them again if my life depended on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!👺👹👿
