I shop at Ulta frequently and usually have a good experience. However, recently I was given information about new brow services. I tried to call and book an appointment twice and no one answered the phone. I went online and tried to book but no matter what day or time I chose, it said there was no one there to do that service. I called a third time and was put on hold for a very long time while being transferred to the salon. When someone did get back on the phone, they told me there was no one there to do that service for about a week or more. I had expected since this was a new service there would be someone there to do it. I know staffing issues are happening everywhere but I didnt appreciate being told about a new service and then not being able to book

I had an appointment to get my brows done. Not only was I never greeted the entire time. But I stood by the brow bar for 15 mins and never was helped. Very unfortunate.

Products more pricey than other local stores. Always feel belittled when asking for help, as Im not super knowledgeable in makeup/haircare products .

While in the Hutchinson Store I decided to redeem 2,000 of my reward points valued at $125.00. My total purchase came to $134.00 and when the manager on duty, Stephanie, rang it up She told me I owed $40.00. I asked her why I would owe 40.00 and she said it was probably sales tax because the tax in Hutchinson is high. I told her sales tax was only 11.00. She got extremely rude and told me that this was not her problem it was a problem with the computer and she could not help me. She told me I would have to call the customer service line and when I asked her for the number she told me she put it in the bag. It was not on the pamphlet she put in the bag and she told me it was on my receipt. When I told her I could not find the phone number she ignored me a proceeded to help the next customer in line. I love the store and the young sales associate that helped me (I believe her name was Red) was extremely nice and helpful and she completely understood the problem. However Stephanie was not at all helpful and very rude and should not be in a position of management or customer service.

First salon Ive been to in Hutchinson since Ive lived here and I loved it! Lisa was awesome and on her first day too!

So nice and helpful. Dont remember ladies name but she was so helpful. All of their products are organized and easy to find.

Was there once, employees were extremely rude.

Had one of the young ladies help me pick out a birthday gift for my wife she, she was very helpful just wish I would of gotten her name.

We always have fun at ULTA! I love being able to get all my products here. I was able to get my hair cut by by a great stylist! Its a trip I always enjoy making with my daughter when I get to Hutchinson! It is the only place I buy my beauty products.

I was there Saturday night 11/ 23 and received poor customer service! I was never approached by an employee to see if I needed assistance. I asked a lady if there was more Urban Decay eye primer, she told me it had been out of stock for months. I asked a lady in the salon if there was anyone to wax my eyebrows, she just waved me towards the brow bar. There was no one there. I couldnt find the powder I wanted, so I finally asked an employee behind the counter. She walked me to where she thought the brand was. When she couldnt find it, she just said sorry I am new and walked away. No one else came to help me. The same lady and the other employee working continued to stand behind the register and talk. I was one of the only customers in the store. I considered sitting my selections down and leaving, but I didnt want to waste the 30 minutes it had taken to find the items I wanted. Super disappointed. When going to a place like Ulta I expect to have employees available to help find items and answer questions. Next time I will just buy from another company on line.

Know nothing about this place. Went in with my girlfriend. She was pleased with the 4 things she got for $65. They have lots of things and dodads. Nothing looked fun for me and it was kinda scary.

I have always went to ultra in Arlington Tx. Love going there great treated like a valued customer Today went to one in Hutchinson Kansas asked if I could be helped when walked in explained was looking for makeup.She said our store is set up a little different.But that was as far as she went. Never showed us where it wasDidnt ask any questions what kind of makeup completely ignored us. We decided to leave when a guy asked if he could help by this time we felt like we were not good enough to be in store. Told him this was the worst service we have ever got at Ultra and were leaving. He didnt say a word and we left. I went elsewhere and purchased my makeup. I work to hard for my money to be treated this way.so I will not be going back to this ultra.

This is a nice store and I think I just had an unfortunate experience. The only stylist that was working happened to be overbooked, juggling 3 people at once. My color didnt turn out like I was expecting and I was there for almost 4 hours. I did talk to the store manager and he adjusted the price. Ill return to shop there and likely will just get a style next time.

I was looking for make up which I found. O was not approached by any clerk they were visiting behind the counter. I usually get very good service.

I work in the salon at ULTA Beauty. I was initially drawn to it because of the feeling you get when you first walk in the door. Its bright, colorful, and smells great!! I love the high end brand makeup but like the fact they sell more affordable items as well. So glad they have one in Hutch now!!!!

Walked in yesterday and bought a $60 lotion. Not one person acknowledged me and one girl was on her phone playing or checking her Facebook! I would like to see this store succeed but does not make you want to shop there.

Not very welcoming. I worked as a business manager for Clinique for two years and understand what it means to have good customer service. When I asked where something was, instead of associates taking me there and showing me product, they pointed to where things were at. They talked only to each other and did not want to help customers. I wanted two gift cards and they couldn’t even fill out the GC card for me. I’ve worked in retail prior to graduating college for years and this was pretty sad.

Everytime I go in this store, I never have a good customer service experience. There can be 5 people on the floor, and no one asks if you need help. Not even a welcome or smile. Would much rather travel to Wichita and get at least acknowledged.

I am a makeup junkie. I could stay here for hours! Some of the things are overpriced and can be found for less elsewhere, but some things are spot on! Its the only place in Hutch to shop for this kind of stuff, so if I need it now, its my go to!

The staff was professional and courtious. The young man who helped me was knowledgeable...... fun....and looked amazing.

I went in for a haircut, asked for a blunt cut shoulder length. The stylist asked if I had ever had a razor cut, I said yes. She proceeded to cut random layers throughout my hair then did a blowout She complained about her job the entire time. She tried to up sale me product that I knew more about than she did. I tried to work with this terrible cut for a month, I had random stringy pieces of hair throughout I ended up going elsewhere and had 3 inches cut off to make my hair manageable.

They have just about everything I need for beauty and personal hygiene in one place! I was skeptical when they first opened and now they are my go to place to shop for beauty needs.

I have been in quite a few times, and I dont always know what Im needing, but I know in general what Im looking for. However, all the girls that work there are RUDE, everytime. They act like they dont want to help you and are snobby. I was in today for probably about 30 minutes, and not one of the workers came to ask if I needed help or anything. I did witness another customer have to walk up to the register and ask two of the girls behind the counter who were having a personal conversation, if one of them could help her, and they both barely acknowledged her and after acknowledging her they acted annoyed. Youre working....do your job and help your company succeed. Probably will just shop in Wichita at Sephora, where they are always polite and helpful.

The makeup they have works great.

Tried to return something and I forgot my receipt. The lady who attempted to help me with my return looked at me and said I shouldnt have even come in today. She was rude the entire time I was being helped and ended up having someone else help me instead.

This was my first experience going to Hutchinson Ulta, and I will not be back. I walked in there & standing were three employees, none of them greeted me or asked me for assistance. After I grabbed my products I went towards the checkout line, I was third in line. The cashier neglected the line, and proceeded to deposit money with Guarda security officer. After a few moments she finally called another employee over on the headset for another person to the check out. The benefit representative or whoever was working at the brow bar came over to the checkout Area and the cashier asked if she could assist the line after they disscused with each other about not being able to help us, I decided to leeave. If I was knowledged or even told that it will be just a moment my experience would have been different. This is similar experience that I have at majority of this company stores.

Everything here is more expensive than everywhere else. I think youre paying extra to leave the store with a bag that says Ulta.
