Competitive prices, staff are very helpful, and a wide range of inventory. Only complaint is changes with the Menards Big Card recently with Capitol One. Found out they start charging 25% interest the day purchases are made. Wont be using that card any more.

Walked around for over an hour not one single rep offered us help. Then, when I asked for help, it got, its not my department or a foul attitude! I absolutely love the store but they need some seriously group meetings on customer service. If i got a choice it wont be here anytime soon i promise.

Both my husband and I wore masks into the store. My husband cant wear a mask, but does it so theres no drama. Particularly in Menards. He pulls the mask down under his nose only, when he cant take it anymore, for a few seconds. An employee walked by when he had it down and told him he had to pull it up. This employee was so rude about the whole thing. I get that you have to enforce your mandate, but you also need to be mindful of people who are struggling with it medically. You should also be respectful when dealing with your customers. After checking out, I tried to explain to this person why he had it down below his nose and they wouldnt even let me finish a sentence. Just kept repeating its store policy WHILE I was talking. I was being calm - until I wasnt. We walked out with our $250 purchase, walked right back in the other door and returned it. Home Depot will be getting our business going forward.

Friendly and knowledgeable employees all around. Whenever I stop in I get good help whether the purchase is big or small. From tools to plumbing, electrical, lawn/garden, lumber, paint, etc., Menards in general has treated me well. But the Hutch location in particular has friendly people and I appreciate that.I also appreciate that theyve taken COVID-19 seriously. First time I visited after they started requiring masks, I just wasnt in the habit of wearing one yet and left it in the car. I was stopped at the door and for a moment that ticked me off, but ego subsided, I returned with my mask, and I appreciate businesses that take common-sense precautions even when it might go against local politics.Great place to shop, or just look around and get some bad ideas (ideas that will make your place nicer but your wallet lighter) haha.

Check out clerk was so helpful. I bought a mechanics tool set and he went through it to make sure everything was there and even noticed that the latch on the case was functioning properly so went and got a different one.

Dont care for the attitude when u need to return something. If u sell garbage it will get returned

Used the curbside pickup for the first time. Husband ordered on line. The order was completed in 30 minutes. There is a 7.00 fee. We went to the gate and they scanned our emailed receipt. Drove to pick up and we were immediately served, no wait. They loaded it with my husband but will do for you. They didnt use 5 million plastic bags like Walmart. Excellent service. Will be using this again!

Helpful and friendly staff

Had a set of blinds cut and they were too long. Went back to have 1/4 inch off and the guy took 1 1/4 off. They returned them and said they wont be ordering any more of them for over a month. I was told to go to another store.....thanks because the next store is over an hour away and now I have a job unfinished. This store is getting worse every time I come. I will be going out of my way to go to Home Depot from now on

All I can say is wow. Not one person to help me and I had really heavy stuff. No one helped me to the section I continually told them I couldn’t find just pointed me to “the right direction”. Very disappointed. Won’t be going back.

Everyone at our local Menards is always so friendly and helpful. Even the younger staff are usually good about finding someone to answer your question if they dont know the answer, which is nice. The employees in their paint department are especially helpful. The store is well-kept and I saw employees working to keep things cleaned and disinfected while there. My only wish is that theyd offer a more curbside pickup option for orders, but the ability to shop from the website to see whats available is a nice feature.

Did an online order and it said expected delivery was Friday, Friday came and my order didnt come.. so we called to see what was up because the tracking info stayed saying itll show up that Friday. They gave us a number for this Jerry character who didnt answer, and we called back to the original transportation company and they had no idea who that is.. I have no idea where my floors are and neither does Menards. Also alot of my in store purchases seem to be returned items, which is fine but I always seem to get the returned item missing parts. Ive also received a few items that were previously damaged. I seem to have the worst luck or the employees secretly hate me because it happens all the time.

My son went in with a mask and couldnt find an employee to help him locate an item because all of the employees are guarding the doors to make sure everyone complies with the mask policy, I tried to go in and help my son without a mask because of a medical condition and was refused at the door. I will never shop at this rude store again!

It seems like they hire people with little to no knowledge of the stuff they are selling. The selection is good but you need to know what you need when you go because the workers dont know alot.

We went in to order a vanity - being it was special order we asked the guy for a timeline of when it would arrive, he said a week. A few days later we get an email saying it will shipped out a week from when we ordered it, arriving a week later than what we were told. We called the store to ask what the deal was and they told us their order times have always been 2-3 weeks. They said they would seen if they can get a rush on it...hear nothing. My husband calls to get an update and they tell us it’s been delayed a week!!!! Menards, you’re a huge company, remodels have deadlines, take some initiative to educate your staff or do your part to provide good customer service. Not to mention the staff has never been friendly.

Employees are more engaged there now. In the past they walked the other direction when they saw a customer. Was offered help 3 times tonight, appreciated it.

I was treated very poorly, I had problems with a battery I bought it in May 2014 with a year warranty. I never could get it to take a full charge. Menard exchanged with no problem. The problem came when I came back with the new battery. They ask for the receipt, I told them i gave to them and never got it back. I discuss the manner with the asst manger, she said i push it towards you. Well it was chaos and they had told me to get the new battery so I didnt have the receipt they still had it. I did not have my Menard card so i could not print a new one. I know they never gave me the receipt back. Well the clerk search and search for it finally the found it. but it was throw ed away and ripped in half. I then told the assist manager who was at fault. Her comment was I push it towards you.. Well I didnt tear in half and put it there trash. Menards did. Home depot looks pretty good right now 10/11/14

I understand for certain employees there it isn’t a lifelong career and the job can be mundane but the customer service is atrocious some days. I’ve approached multiple employees and I’d say half have had a scowl on their face as if I’m bothering or inconveniencing them when I ask where something is.Not long ago we purchased doors from Menards and we had to ask for someone to help us manually lift them into the truck. A few weeks later, we saw they actually had machines to help lift the doors into the back of trucks. At the time, I thought maybe they didn’t have it available for us but I remember seeing that exact machine sitting nearby and it seemed as if no one wanted to assist us because there was 4-5 doors.Just recently we purchased shiplap and the store pull it for us so we could go there and pick it up. When we went to the pick up it took the employee awhile to find the shiplap as he walked by it multiple times. We could see it from where we were standing (this could be a new employee so not the worst inconvenience). When we got the shiplap, we noticed it was damaged and cracked on over TEN pieces out of a TWENTY total ordered. We had to point it out to the staff. The employee who helped us was very friendly, but I it’s insane that whomever pulled the shiplap from the store didn’t notice the heavy damage to the shiplap and decided it would have been okay for someone to just take it home.Multiple other problems at this store so for all those looking at these reviews, go to Home Depot. The drive time might be a little extra, but it’s worth the while.Side note: Online ordering from Menards? Good luck getting any help on canceling orders or status updates. Radio silence from their “Help Center”.

All in one shop stop!!

The worst Menards Ive ever been to. They couldnt help me with locating the mulch that I needed. It took 15 minutes to do a propane exchange because none of staff knew what they were doing and they couldnt find the key. The baby changing station was unusable because it was so dirty. And lastly, they didnt know what a price adjustment rebate form was when I asked for it.

My favorite place, home away from home.

I was in the store yesterday in an item was on sale for $9.99. Today that same product had no price listing and the entire aisle had no prices. Knowing the price I did not worry about it and we got to the check out the same product re up $14.95. When they checked on it they said the last time the item was sold it was $14.95 I explained my situation and Christian from the customer service desk proceeded to tell me that I was wrong and that this is the price and he had proof. You sir need some serious customer service skills I stopped shopping at the store for over a year and when I came back in I dealt with Clayton he convinced me to continue shopping at this location and I did I have been coming back for a couple of years. I am going to escalate my complaint and if nothing is done I will discontinue shopping at this chain of stores altogether. I was even told that I should take a picture to show them that fact alone means that hes not sure of what he was telling me. In the end this cost me an additional $30 on my purchase.7/18/2021Gave the store another chance again they failed to honor the price that was they failed to honor the price that was on their shelf even with pictures I am done shopping here

I love Menards and have generally visited metro locations, Im new to the area and have never had so many bad encounters with employees as this location. Visited around 30 times and left 5 times just shaking my head after talking with someone working there.

Women working in the appliance Dept was horrible..she actually rolled her eyes when I asked her about the dryers...she knew NOTHING about them.. she walked away and went back to her desk where she proceeded to look at her phone..

The two times weve been here, multiple people tell us where stuff is and its not there. Should have learned the first time not to go the second time. The customer service is horrible, since when do you just point where stuff is instead of showing the customer? And if you dont know where it is, since when do you just tell the customer you dont know instead of i am not sure, but let me find you someone who does so the customer can get what they need? Back and forth through the store, no REAL help. Not going back.

So an on honest review. Commercial desk on there own time . Yard guys did a great job helping load and directing me in right direction

1st young lady I met wasnt nice, annoyed, at 1st but at the end was very helpful. The 2nd gentleman was nice from the very start. And very helpful the whole time. Ill be back.

The guys working out until lumber yard are working in 90 degree heat. How about some Popsicles or ice cream for them ? Despite this they are courteous.

Everyone was nice and helpful, even if they did run out of some of the CraZy specials. And there were lots of employees available to ask questions, way more than the Eden Prairie Menards.
