As soon as I walked into this store I felt nothing but an enormous amount of positive energy. It’s very peaceful balance Atmosphere. The second thing I noticed is how well the gem stones and crystals are organized. No clutter everything is in a perfect spot. All the different spots I’ve been too have a lot of everything but from I can tell is this place has it all. You can buy tiny crystals or larger crystals. Everything is priced accordingly in my opinion. Not to expensive not to cheap like I said very balanced in nature and in products. Frankly crystals in my opinion are priceless. This is my go to spot to purchase from especially the closest. I live near at least 4 different metaphysical stores but highly recommend this store. The owner was very very informative and well knowledgeable. There isn’t a question he couldn’t answer for me. Each crystal/gemstone has its own unique spiritual meaning that he has attached to each crystal. So you can easily find what exactly it is you need and the meaning behind it. Also once purchased he lays your crystals out and puts the exact card that shows what it symbolizes with each crystal you buy. I thought this was so awesome. The time, dedication, and work he has put in is just amazing. I’d admire him for what he’s done to help better the world! He is a certified reiki master although he rarely does it anymore. That alone is so amazing! But I definitely encourage you all to go check out this amazing crystal store! It’s good to help out all small businesses in our community especially with the world we live in today. Even just stop by and check it out you don’t have to purchase anything but you never know you might embark on a new long life journey of love and peace that awaits you.

Awesome experience. I did some research about crystals before shopping here so I had an idea of what I needed before going in. However, they have such a large selection and helpful information cards that I bought a couple more stones before I left. Very nice with awesome customer service. Highly recommend and I have already recommended to my friends and family.

I make jewelry with crystals and am very particular about where I get my rocks for my jewelry and for my personal practices. The owner here is BEYOND kind and knowledgeable. I have had a few long talks with him and each time he explains where he gets his rocks, the process of running his shops, pricing, and always expresses his concerns for making his costumers happy. He does a great job running this shop and does all he can for 100% satisfaction. I haven’t been back in a while because I moved and I work the hours the shop is open but I’ve recommended this place to SOOO many people and everyone tells me they are so happy with this place as well. I’m never satisfied with going to any other crystal shops after coming to this one!!!

I enjoyed my experience here 5/13/21. James, the owner, was very nice and very talkative. I could tell he did his best to speak with everyone and get to them as they entered, however, it did get kinda busy and it was just him. This was my first time entering the shop and I was overwhelmed with the selection. I also enjoyed the fact that he gives you a card with information for every stone and encourages you to take a picture in case you lose the card.I went and looked at the negative reviews right before posting my own and noticed that the majority of them happened around the time when the owner had some upheaval in his life. I know this through the conversation I had with him in the shop. He shared quite a bit of his life and seemed to be a very intelligent man but still a human being with feelings. More than likely if you visit this store, you believe in the exchange of energy and you understand how it feels when your energy is being attacked and drained. Just from my conversation with James, he was going through a lot at that time.I found the shop delightful. James was more than pleasant and informative. Apparently, the shop has been there 11 years and I will definitely be back after my experience!

This store sold me heat treated amethyst and tried to pass it off as natural citrine. Either they didn’t know the citrine was heat treated or they’re tricking their customers. Natural citrine is more expensive and they did not specify that their citrine wasn’t natural. I don’t recommend this place.

Just a bit over priced compared to other stores in the DFW metroplex. I don’t like the fact I don’t get asked if I need help (unless I’m the only one in the store) eventually ill get help if I need it. But overall they do have great crystals just a bit on the pricey side. Although, the owner is SOOOO nice. Met the guy once, very cool dude! So s/o to him! 💙

As soon as we walked in the owner welcomed us. I was amazed at the numbers and quality of the crystals. To say that he was knowledgeable about each one is a major understatement. I had an amazing time.

Went here cause I love checking out rock stores. I saw photos of the place and expected it to be bigger but it turned out it didn’t need to be. It had a stunningly wide selection of gems to choose from. At least over 100 (literally)and the store owner is very knowledgeable about them and is quite kind as well. The rocks have descriptions of their healing properties which is really nice to know really nice. I recommend this place to anyone who likes pretty and shiny rocks and recommend it more so to people who practice or believe the spiritual properties of rocks.

My husband and I worked with James, the store owner. What a wonderful and knowledgeable man. I had a list of essential crystals that I needed for myself, as well as one for a friend, and a $50 gift card for our daughter. We took up a great deal of his time. We never felt rushed, or like we were interrupting him. He was very thoughtful to my specific needs to hard-to-find crystals. AND he sells Palo Santo from Peru! We will certainly be back! The best collection of crystals I’ve ever seen in person. The owner is friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and prices are very reasonable.

This place just isn’t for me. The atmosphere was cold and unwelcoming. They do have good selection. I’m no cheapskate and I will pay for quality but again I just was not getting good vibes from the people/environment. That means a lot to me personally when purchasing items I will meditate with. I want it to be more than just a monetary transaction and that’s what I get from the staff. No warmth or genuine passion. Then I come to leave a so so review and I see how they have responded to even mild criticism. This explains what I felt in that store. No open mind or willingness to listen to how they could make their store better (why would you not want to hear how your customers feel?). It’s more than their pricing. It’s the attitude and demeanor. I hope they will see one day and can make things better not just for the patrons but for themselves. I’d hate to run a store that should be positive purchases full of energy in people’s lives, and yet I have so much vitriol and negativity for any helpful suggestions.

I had a great experience in this shop!! Welcomed and help out immediately. The owner was so much help as to what I needed help with. Was checked out by his daughter. I guess it’s family owned, and it was worth my long drive. With the help of both of them I was in and out with in 30 minutes. Worth my drive!! I don’t have one bad thing to say about this place.

When I am looking for a certain rock/crystal I go to Crystal Source first and I almost always find it there. Remarkable selection and great energy! James, the owner, is very knowledgable and will take the time to answer questions. They also sell beautiful wrapped jewelry, incense, candles, and more. I usually go on weekends when I know James will be there, but I think he has helpful employees there anytime he is not there. They also have interesting events and classes at times. Great place whether you are looking for metaphysical purposes or just love collecting beautiful rock specimens!

Wow what a shop! A friend and I stumbled across this little “gem” and boy were we pleasantly surprised. The owner James has quite an inventory of crystals/stones and his prices are very reasonable. His knowledge is vast and he’s quite dedicated to pleasing the masses with this amazing shop. He has a very dedicated staff member who even helped a customer on her day off. He even takes the time to provide you with an information card for each crystal and carefully bag each one so you’re not faced with crystal confusion once you get home. Go see James for your crystals, semi precious stones, raw or tumbled, he pretty much has it all!

Ive been a zillion times, and the people are always very nice. Im actually SHOCKED by the negative reviews. The owner will chat with me for ever. Hes super nice and extremely knowledgeable. They have a little bit of everything. The prices can be higher than some places and they can be much lower than others. A few of the negative responses are from people who havent even been in the store. Anyway, this store is conveniently located, and has a lot of cool stones.

Ive been purchasing supplies at this establishment for almost 4 years and Ive always been extremely happy with my shopping experience. The owner and his wife are always warm and welcoming, answering any questions I may have. Ive found the selection of crystals and minerals vast and varied, information cards accompany purchases, and the selection doesnt stop there. They carry oracle and tarot cards, jewelry, candles, and offer several different classes and workshops. In my opinion you cant beat this place for supporting local business!

Rude staff and overpriced crystals. Of the three times Ive been in there, it has always been a bad experience as much as I try to give them another chance. Its obvious that this place is run as a business rather than a place where people can pick up healing tools aka crystals. They price crystals at 4.44 and 3.33 etc to make themselves appear spiritual, rather than giving than using reasonable pricing systems. Price them for what they are actually worth, please.My first time walking in, no one even noticed i was there. It wasnt until at least 20 minutes of me looking around that someone finally acknowledged me and asked if I needed help--the only time I had been asked. The next time walking in was 10 minutes before close. I explained that I knew what i was looking for and apologized for coming in so last minute--no response to my apology...they just seemed to want me to leave. Every time Im in Crystal Source, Ive never gotten the sense that they are there to help me find me tools for healing.And on top of the rude staff and overpriced selections, they put the crystals in plastic bags! Come on. Its 2019... Start using material that wont end up in a landfill for thousands of years. There is nothing spiritual or healing about that. I would not imagine recommending this place to anyone. Better try somewhere else because the vibes here are not good.

I absolutely love the store they have such an amazing selection some things can be bit pricey at the same time they can have a better prices then some other places but the stuff is amazing and they definitely are knowledgeable. Upon walking into the store, I definitely felt the positive juju vibes. The stones/crystals are all reasonably priced & there’s a large selection to choose from.

When we walked in we were immediately told by the girl at the register that they were closing early but that we were welcome to look around for a little bit. I did buy some stones but I didnt get a great vibe from the store (sterile and cold) or the sales girl (who rushed us out the door) which was disappointing because I drove quite a ways to get to this store. Ive since been to other shops with better vibes and better prices.

The store has an amazing selection and great prices. He had crystals I couldnt find elsewhere. I was impressed with the atmosphere and positive feeling of the store. I highly recommend this place if you like crystals. I read a few reviews that were really unrealistic and sounded more like it was the individual and not the store based on my experience.

I came in to the store today and right off the bat I was in awe of all the different crystals and gems. There is literally not enough counter space to display all of these beautiful pieces. I came in with a list of gems I wanted, i named it he could find it. He was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. All the gems and crystals came with a card and individually bagged for easy identification later. I know Ill be back for more. Dont think I could have asked for a better experience. If your looking for a great place this is it!

Ive been to this store a couple times. The prices are on the high end. The staff was ok. Nothing stands out. I wasnt going to even leave a review but after reading how the owner responds to negative reviews on here, Im disgusted. Even to someone who didnt leave a review, he/she only left one star, he replied with a nasty remark. Grow up. Not everyone is going to agree with your prices, the way you run your business, or your attitude. After reading your remarks to these reviews, i will not be visiting your store again. If you are looking for specific minerals, crystals, rocks, stones, etc., then James and Joan Dillard (store owners/proprietors) will find them for you, locate it for you in their store or suggest an alternative. I have been doing business with them for more than three years and I have personally known Joan for 11 years at the time of this writing. They are good, honest and upstanding people. Last year, James made a trip to AZ for their annual buying to restock the store. During the trip, he made a special visit to acquire a rare stone that I had requested, going above and beyond. Of course you can buy stones, rocks, crystals and minerals online but you can also buy in person here at a real local store as well from professionals dedicated to the retail side of this industry. They educate you on the uses of the stones, rocks and crystals, etc., providing you with many cross references on each particular stone from a variety of authentic sources such as real books, credible online sites and of course personal experience. The research on the uses of stones and crystals will cost you many hours and dollars at times and its good to know that you wont have to do all of that legwork on the research if you dont feel like it, so thats where James and Joan come in. They also hold frequent classes at night and on the weekend, teach classes and have a once a month fair so there is something here for everyone. Stop by and give them an opportunity to answer your questions and show you around the store--Im sure that you will be glad that you did.

I mean this will no ill intentions, but this place is ridiculous. The prices are terribly high for the miniscule size of the crystals available. I do not buy into the quality means higher price garbage. Ive had the pleasure of going to many metaphysical shops and first hand providers and this is by far the most displeasing when it comes to price. 4 dollars for a crystal that I can get from a rockhound for 25 cents? Pass. The only positive thing is their variety, and a decent price for candles. Save your time and valuable energy and go elsewhere.Edit in response to owner: My review on your prices should not have been indicative of my ability to fund my hobby, but if thats all you got out of it then maybe Im not the one that needs education. It was however submitted to provide information given the experience I had at your store. Owners should take pride in their service, but that does not mean they are above criticism. And as you can see, I did not say your quality left anything to be desired, I only mentioned your price. You are right, you have a wide variety and the quality. But saying no one can go to another store and find just as much with the same quality at a decent price is laughable.

I walked in the store and it took awhile for the gentleman (whom may own store) to greet me, It was odd. He wasnt very helpful, was very standoffish, and was unable to make eye contact for more than a second. Which really stood out to me, I dont trust the guy. I didnt the moment he walked into my line of sight. Im not sure if he was under the influence or what, but as I tried to seek information on what all my options would be to fix the issue at hand.He was all scatterbrained an would keep trying to redirect me in a round about way from my questions to something irrelevant.Like his book for instance or some astrology class way overpriced.As Im trying to figure out what it is that I need whilst looking around the store. He went an sprawled out on the couch in the corner with his hands resting behind his head like he was getting ready to take a nap. In the middle of the day I mind you, which wasnt very professional in my opinion but, hey thats just me.The guy was a creep, Ill never go back.

This is the best place in DFW for rocks and minerals by far, and they also sell many other things like books, candles, incenses, jewelry, oils, and tarot decks. I was spoiled that it was the first store I explored as I began to learn about rocks, because every other store Ive visited since then has seemed tiny. Ive known the owner, James, for several years now, and he has done me so many big favors that I wont even try to list them here. This store has a very comfortable atmosphere, high quality products, good prices, and knowledgeable and attentive staff. If you have an interest in rocks, energy healing, or the metaphysical in general, this is an excellent store, and I highly recommend it :-)

Not only are you money hungry. Have bad energy walking in,but you sure are cocky and come off incredibly rude. Not my fault i speak honestly about how i feel. And i can speak for others as well. And its funny you talk about being business like and care for others yet slam there opinions and experiences. If reading this people do not come to this shop. There are other shops with more affordable stones.

This place has great energy. My experiences here do not match the reviews Im reading at all. (Although, I dont so much agree with the catty responses back to the negative reviews. That seems out of character for the people Ive made contact with in the shop.) The staff has always been ready and able to answer any, and I mean any questions (Im pretty out there) Ive had...and then point me in the direction of a crystal that might help. The prices might be high, but any quality crystal isnt cheap. They have some hard to come by crystals on hand, as well. And if they dont have what you need, they call around to other shops until they can locate it for you elsewhere.

Ive only ever encountered a man, who I assume to be the owner, and Ive felt like I was inconveniencing him for asking questions and just being a customer. Hes very standoffish and often just lays on a couch while looking at an iPad. You have to tell him that you are ready to check out so he can saunter over after youve disturbed him. They do have a large selection of gems and minerals but be prepared to shell out some money. They are extremely overpriced.
