My favorite place to shop or just browse. I love to curl up with a good book, magazine, or color pictures in one of the adult coloring books. The barnes and noble member card pays for itself every year. I also have the new Lenovo nook. It is great for reading or watching movies and TV shows with my apps.

The selection is large, current, well organized, and clearly labeled. The prices arent out of line for the amount of merchandise carried. The floor sales people were courteous and helpful. The checker was nice, but didnt listed for an answer when he asked if we wanted a bag. We said no, but he bagged it anyway.The checkout line can get rather lengthy during peak time, but it seems to move, and only took about 5 minutes.

Always a great place to go, grab a coffee and browse for an hour or two. Tech book selection is anemic, but theres a good choice in most other categories

Barnes and Nobles hires some of the best and kind people. The booksellers at this Barnes and Noble were super helpful and ready to help! I loved that the bookshelves had their personal favorite and recommendations, as well as some insight into a book. We also found the Demon Slayer Volume 10 Manga here🤯🤯!! We bought the last 2 copies though:(

My husband and I went to purchase books. I was looking for one particular book, I did not see on the shelf. The young lady was extremely helpful and recommended that I pre-order it, as well as sharing the price with me. I would definitely return to this location, because the customer service was great.

States they allow medical exemptions however they do not. They would not let me shopin store. They offered to shop for me while I waited outside. Did they plan to bring the whole music section to me so I could physically look through each book?This place discriminates against those who can’t wear a damn face mask. So Id like to start by saying that I used to work here a little while back. It was a good place to work and the employees were nice. My family would come here every Friday to meet up and catch up on how were all doing. Wed order some coffee and stuff from the bakery and then sit in the childrens section, away from everyone and let the kids play around with each other. Everyone would leave with a new chapter book and wed do it all over again next Friday.Of course, that was pre-covid. Now the old employees are no longer there, they started to leave one at a time. And the employees that covid left in its wake are beyond frustrating. Most dont make any kind of contact, dont ask if we need help finding anything, or even say hi (or make eye contact and smile, at the very least). The children were laughing in the childrens section over a hand puppet one had grabbed and was making the others laugh with his dweeby jokes and someone came and said for them to hush. Its not a dang library! Not to mention were the only people in the childrens section, and really the only people besides the few in the cafe. Im just very sick and tired of how cold this place has become. They never ring up the clearance correctly. They always want to argue that the price is labeled wrong, even tho all the books of that kind have the same sale sticker on them. Like Im intentionally changing all the stickers in the back or something. Time to find a new place to meet up as this place has gone completely down hill.

Clean appearance with proper Covid precautions in place. Liked the service from the employees. One in particular offered unsolicited information regarding a before not none band made up of musicians of interest to us based on our purchase. THIS is great customer service...

I love Barnes & Noble! I visited both the Northeast store and Southlake store this past weekend. I was greeted by personable employees at each store and while there, I also found some very nice merchandise at reasonable prices

Hypocrites work at this location. Told me I was required to wear a mask, then proceeded to let another guy check out without a mask on. So I asked the employee why he didn’t have to wear one. The employee proceeded to say because that customer was at the front of the store, he didn’t have to wear one. So i asked if that applied to everyone and the employee immediately said no. So they allowed a customer to be in the store the entire time without a mask but forced others to. The store employees name was Aaron.

Pretty good selection of books, very clean store and you can easily practice social distancing. Theres also a Starbucks inside! I would have given a 5 star rating if the section of books on juicing was more expansive but overall, very peaceful and enjoyable shopping experience.

Uniformity is a hallmark of all chain stores. What sets this barnes and noble apart is its amazing collection of nerd culture curios and board games. I was surprised to see some fan favorite boargames and card games that youd usually have to go to your local game store to find. As always, friendly staff make all the difference and the people here were both helpful and knew when you just wanted to browse in peace. If your in the market for a book or board game it cant hurt to stop by

The Staff was friendly and helpful, its usually why I frequent this particular Barnes and Noble. They didnt have the manga I was looking for, but I didnt expect too much out of the manga selection. As most bookstores is closing due to Covid19 and bad business decisions, Im glad to see these guys are still going.

I wouldnt recommend Barnes and Noble Online/Nor the North East Mall Location.I purchased two books online to pick up in this location, which online it said they were both available. The issue was, they clearly dropped the ball and didnt separate it in time. Even though I place the order last night, they didnt check until I called today..... two hours after they had already opened the stores.I definitely do not recommend using their online services. Stick to other book shops instead of Barnes and Noble.If their lack of sense of responsibility wasnt enough, their lack of common sense also compensated. Why? You ask? Because, instead of calling the next location which in this case would have been Arlington, and telling them Hey, this customer already paid for the books, they just need to pick them up at your location, instead, they refunded the money I set apart for that, which now wont be available for another 3-5 business days, I will lose out on the online discount, and hell if the books are even available by then anyways.The employees I dealt with were Rebecca and Robert and they both lacked the common sense to find a convenient solution to the problem their location created by not separating online orders that were already paid for before opening their doors to new customers.This is probably one of the most frustrating experiences Ive had at Barnes and Noble, but not the first. Partially the reason why Ive been going to Half Priced Books instead.

Quiet, laid out well to accommodate the new normal and a good selection of books and related items. I probably do not go there as often as I should but when I go its always pleasant and end up losing an hour or two browsing around.

Order pickup was confusing as they just changed where to pickup and the overhead signs are wrong. Grrr. 3rd stop was a charm. Employees were polite and helpful. I placed my order while sitting in the Cafe as there was a great discount coupon.. I was in no hurry. An hour later it was ready for pickup. BUT the app decided I was 30 miles away at a different BN Ive never shopped at...it was instock here but the manager declined to honor the web price. Who doesnt price match in this day and age?! And BN wonders why they got fleeced by Amazon. Next time, Ill give Bezos my money AND get my discount.

Great atmosphere, here.The Starbucks makes it pretty yummy, too.Im surprised by their board game selection.. thats pretty cool.I also went to a chess club meeting, here, once, a long time ago... that was neat.

Great location. On the smaller side, but the staff are all extremely friendly. The clearance section is never really that large compared to some B&N that Ive been to, also. However, I always appreciate great customer service and a tidy store.

Great selection of books and a nice setup for just hanging out and reading. BUT it would be nice if the cashier wasnt quite so friendly. She took plus or minus 15 minutes to check out a lady and talk to her while the line steadily increased with people wanting to check out. The lady behind her was another talker who seemed totally oblivious to the fact that the line now had 13 people waiting and the cashier never paged another cashier to help. They gave us a coupon for BOGO cookies and guess which two ladies were at the counter ahead of us and engaged in conversation with the cafe cashiers... better be a really good cookie.

Theres just something about a bookstore that sells actual books that you can hold in your hands. This B&N is thriving, has excellent selections and a host of other books that are for all ages. Their Starbucks is a fully functional coffee shop that serves more than just Cappuccinos and Pikes drip coffee. Another retailer worth supporting z so get off your couch and take a stroll in this place... youll find things that you never knew you wanted!

6/3/20Staff is nice, but there is no place to sit. I really dont understand what removing all the chairs and seats accomplishes! Theres plenty of room to place chairs and tables 6 feet apart. Some of us, it gets painful to remain standing, and any chair would be nice. Management needs to be more considerate of this!Previous:Good place to relax esp. in the comfy chairs. Its my favorite store... There are 3 associates there that remember me. Its funny when one (I cant remember their names, will have to make a note to look at their name tags) asks me if I have read all the books I have bought from the other times I have gone. (I go there a lot) two of the lady associates remember a friend of mine and me.because of book club. I just love this Location... Clean and nice... Five stars plus more

Online said they closed at 9pm and when we decide to come in at 8 pm the store manager.im assuming was super rude and even backed us out of the door and when I went to say that I was sorry and I was misinformed he proceeded to talk over me and say that they were closed and I must leave. Unprofessional and rude to say the least.

The last bastion of being able to find super-expensive, high-quality real paper magazines from Europe and Britain. Thanks be to God not everything is a disposable BS Adobe file.

Oh man. This place is dangerous. I went in there looking for one book. I could have come home with 100. This was supposed to be a quick stop, but I ended up spending at least an hour there. They have such an amazing selection of books! I love the quiet environment, cozy cafe, and layout of the displays. Such a great place.

Online it said they were open until 9, we went in and the cashier told us that they closed at 8 but hadnt locked the doors. We told her that we were sorry for coming in and the manager came up and rudely told us that they were closed and we needed to get out. Went back to our car and another lady walked up to the doors and he spoke to her extremely rude as well. Ive been going here for ~10 years and have a membership card. But this has made me not want to come again.

Tons of game selections and loads of books! Very helpful staff. Prices were a little high but worth checking out. Had a good deal when we went. Got 2 games for $40. Members get 10% off but membership is $25 a year.

I went in to purchase a couple of books this evening and as usual ended up purchasing way more than I had needed. They had some great specials on children’s books going on that I had to of course take advantage of. The gentleman at the register was excellent. Older guy that was super nice and explained some benefits I received with my membership card that I wasn’t aware of. So I appreciated him, I can’t believe I can’t remember his name.anyway great experience!

I love this place because I like paper books more than anything digital and I can browse and sit and read and even have a coffee from Starbucks if I would like. moreover its probably the only place in town that I know I can go and see multiple magazines and not have a store on her look over my shoulder as I read.

I love going to Barnes & Noble but I probably shouldnt. I always leave withe a bunch of books and magazines and less cash. I have a problem...The store is always neat and tidy and the staff is always helpful and courteous.

I love the cookies in the cafe. I got a coupon at check out in the book section for a buy one get one cookie. I went to get the cookies and at check out the cashier in the cafe gave me another coupon with the same deal. She said its the gift that keeps on giving! The cookies are amazing!

Great place to pick up my latest fiction selections. They also conveniently have some of my Dungeons and Dragons and Role Playing Game materials, but those are poorly organized, so I prefer the local game store or the Movie Warehouse across the street where theres a better selection and I can find what Im looking for better.

They have readings every weekend for the kids. Good selection of books and a Cafe if you just want to sit and relax. I normally just go to Amazon for books, but the good service and fun activities for children and book readings won me over.

It is so good to see a brick and mortar store for books. The service is always helpful, they know it is hard to compete with online sellers so they try harder and I like that. Retail is in the details and making customers happy and I always try to give my dollars to them but still look for the best prices. If your a big reader then go to the discount tables to get some good deals.

Really Nice & Huge Location and to top it off really great employees there that assist you with everything and anything you need. They made it possible to find the books I was looking for without them needing to be in store. My books got shipped and got delivered very quickly and its shipping cost was really near to nothing. Ive given them five stars because of its great customer service and its great service to resolve in locating books that were not in store & had them shipped to my home address ..... Received my books within 3-5 business days with shipping alters sent to my phone up until they were delivered to my door step. Great Experience!!!!! Definitely Recommend to ALL!!!!! You wont be disappointed.
