This is the closest fabric shop to my house so I shop here fairly frequently. The selection is pretty good and they have good sales and coupons. The employees are always friendly and helpful if youre looking for a particular item. I love the remnant section! So far everything Ive bought here has held up well and is good quality.
The store itself is in shambles and a staff member told me corporate only let them schedule 3 people during a busy time. The brand is struggling, so I sincerely hope they appreciate the exceptionally high quality of staff they have at this specific store. Joann would get zero stars, but the people working there deserve 10.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. I could not locate the fabric that I was looking for at Hobby Lobby, but it was at Joanns. Joanna has a huge amount of product that is very organized.
Good store. Not a great selection at the moment. Only four stars because the womens restroom doesnt have a changing station in it. The mens bathroom has one. Im not sure how often men frequent Joanns, in the future Ill have to bring my husband with me so that I can have my babys diaper changed. Crazy if you ask me.
Today was my first, and last visit to a Joann fabric store. I ordered my wife two yards of fabric and some super glue online for in-store pickup. I was in the area 3 1/2 hours later and thought I would see if the order was ready. I thought it would surely be ready but my backup plan was to cancel it and just purchase the items.You would have thought I had broken one of the Ten Commandments by being there early (30 minutes at a time when there were less than 5 customers in the entire store). I was chastised by the checkout clerk and the fabric cutter lady. As I was getting the items to purchase a manager came running up with a cart and tossed the items I purchased on the counter without a word.I suggested Joann do some friendliness training as I left. I buy many products online and pick them up in stores (Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.) and they are ALWAYS helpful and friendly, not combative. I would not recommend Joann, buy instead at Amazon or Michaels or Hobby Lobby. Better quality products and non-grouchy employees.

IMPRESSIVE! I havent been here in years! The place is huge and has everything you need for sewing and crafting! Store employees very helpful too.
Great sales but its the first day of the sale and inventory is very limited. Hopefully they get more stock today, if not theyll have nothing left for the next 2 days of the sale 😒Staff is great and friendly but they do need to have more people at their check outs, with that being said management is quick to see the line getting backed up to the fabric isle and they begin opening up registers. Fabric line moves very quickly and they have numbers so you can shop while you wait.
I just stopped in to buy a sewing machine. Although the store says masks are 100% required of all staff and customers, none of the associates I encountered was wearing one. I remarked to one associate that I had planned to buy a $300 machine today but because I would need to be in close proximity to someone while trying them out and no one was wearing a masking, I guessed I would look online instead at Amazon. Amazon has everything, She said. She isnt wrong, but dang. This flippant attitude is what is killing brick and mortars. Guess Bezos will get my business instead. :(
Clerk asked me for coupon on line, I did not have one. She looked one up on her phone ended up finding a coupons for 40% off very nice and what a deal.Thank you so much your help.

Just recently signed up for awards and went for the first time. I had an absolutely wonderful experience it’s like a candy store for crafters they have wall-to-wall of everything you can think of, to do any kind of project and the staff was super friendly .I went with a pillow cushion and did t know how much fabric to get and they were able to help me get the right amount without overpaying.
This is my favorite crafting store! My main hobby is crochet and the stock in yarn has been pretty good lately. Most of 2020 they were pretty low. (Understandably) but now its stocked up!I sometimes go through the fabric aisles and they have a great variety in fabric and patterns. When I do get fabric, the ladies at the counters are always friendly and helpful.
Yeah so don’t ask these A-holes a single question about a product or how anything works unless you like to be treated like a child or belittled in-front of everyone else because you respectfully ask how a particular system works
Bought Drapery lining and found some nice trim for throw pillows and Roman shades on clearance that they had an additional 50% off. Received coupons for next purchases. The staff was helpful and pleasant. Store was very clean.

Horrible! DONT ORDER ONLINE! They will just cancel majority of the items in your orders. And charge you for items you never picked up. I called them up yesterday and requested for my entire order to be cancelled because its not worth to drive for 2 items (I ordered 7 items and they cancelled 5 of them) but then I got a message saying my 2 items were picked up! Now Im being charged for items I dont have! The only reason I decided to buy online was because of social distancing and they have a long line, the last time we went there to complain about the refund and order cancellation was we had to wait 3 hours in the line before we could get in!!! The customer service line that they gave us doesnt even work! Such horrible system they have.
The staff is not friendly other than that its a great place to go and their sales on their summer flowers was outstanding I cant wait to go get some fall things from jo-anns I do a lot of different things I just got through making silk arrangements for my nieces wedding and I made 19 sprays one each for each Pew in our church where they were marriedIt had been a long time since I had done anything so it was fun to go into Jo-Anns again I do cake pops all kinds of anything to do with some flowers just about and table skapes you know a lot of different things interior decorating but only with family.... But whatever I do people always go why didnt you go into business well it takes money going to business and I worked as an office manager after being a dental assistant for 17 years I finished out dentistry I got 16 years at the front desk so I think thats 33 years total LOL but all through the years I made I did my oldest sons wedding only it was very elaborate so I did all the flowers started six months in advance in between Michaels and Jo-Anns I spent a lot of money and it was worth it so five five stars for their products four stars because their staff is really not very friendly
Elderly lady who cuts the fabric was so rude idk if it was racially motivated or what but she was all giggles and smiles with the Caucasian lady in front of me. She was giving me dirty looks the whole time. Never going back.

Pleasant, but had to go to Arlington to find the selection of fleece that I wanted.
So, I went to get material from Joanns for the receiving blankets for my impending baby delivery. The prices for simple one sided print fleece was 6.99-12.99/yd. They were on sale at 40% off. I spent a little extra time in the car before going in to make sure that I was signed in and got the couple extra coupons. While there I was able to grab some prequilted material for 2 crib blankets and backing. The woman who cut the material was kind, personable, and talkative. However, you will get charged for every inch of material even if it isnt usable materials. For example, On the quilted material, the previous individual had cut through an entire row of the squares, instead of on the seam. I had to specifically ask for this nice lady to not do that again because I was just going to have to cut that row off. So apparently it isnt standard to keep them intact. At 16.99/yd I certainly dont feel the need to pay for an additional six+ inches of unusual material. On the standard fleece, there were several bolts that had jagged, crooked ends, but this was the beginning measuring point. Again, nothing but wasted material that I paid for only to need to be trimmed off.Now, the real treat was checking out. I had over $120 worth of materials, not a drop in the bucket for a few receiving blankets and 2 crib blankets. I noticed on the cutting receipt that it reflected the regular prices and not the sale prices. I asked the cashier and she said that was so that I could know what I wouldve paid...So I had not clue how much that total was going to be unless I sat and did the math by hand prior to check out. Then she was more concerned with giving me a plastic bag then asking about fun things like coupons. I mentioned that I had several coupons and she went on to ignore me and finish the transaction. When I again mentioned the coupons, she just smiled and told me to have a nice day.I left infuriated, and have not even started on those blankets. Really took the wind out of sales.The material overall is nice. The quality will be demonstrated once they are used and washed a couple of times. I dont know if I would want to do this route again though.

I love JOANN Fabrics, so I give them 5 stars, but this particular trip did not happen to be a good one. I called the evening before, they had what I needed where other locations did not. The next day I drove 20 miles to discover they were closed. Extremely frustrating! I can only hope they were closed for a good reason and not because of some tragedy.

Do not go here during the c19 pandemic. They knelt allow 10 people to go in to the store and ask customers to stay for only 15 minutes. They DO NOT enforce the time limit so you will wait for hours. I got there at 945 was number 12 in line and did not get in until 1130. Go to Richland Sewing Center or Sew It Up. Their system is much more efficient.
Certaim things like rivbon have been picked over since October at least & still are in December... do better smh

Hardly any workers to assist you and the ladies in the fabric area are mad rude. I made 2 attempts at patronizing this store and both times I was met with attitude.
Curb side pick up is a joke. When the Shelter at home first started I placed a Curb side pick up order after 5 days with no word I received an email notification that the order had been canceled. I called and was told how horribly busy and under staffed this store was. So I order by mail instead. Well almost 8 weeks later I thought I would try doing the curb side pick up again. I thought surely they would have worked out the issues by now. So I placed my order and 5 days later I get the message that my order was canceled. Why offer a service if you arent able to honor the service. So if I want to buy from them I either have to pay shipping charges or brave the store and its people which was what I was trying to avoid. This doesnt make me a fan of how Joann is treating their customers. I am trying to be understanding but lack of communication and options is not helpful.

Went in last Saturday and the manager on duty was absolutely wonderful as well as the rest of the staff. They were all super helpful and friendly. I live in Arlington but will definitely make the trip to this location from now on.
The store had a strong smell of potpourri in the front of the store. I wanted yarn and it was all the way in the back of the store. I wanted the thicker yarn and they did not have a great selection.

Have seen it for years, but had never gone in. Very interesting. Not just fabric. Good selection of art supplies. The employees were great! Very helpful, and helped me find everything that I needed.
I have stopped going to Joann’s. Michaels is across the street and is light years ahead in customer service. Joanns does not answer the curbside phone and of you go inside even with 2-3 people in line ahead of you, expect to be in line 15-20 minutes. It’s ridiculous! Except for 1-2 young ladies who are very nice, the other employees you can tell hate their job, hate people, are snail-slow, and have a bad attitude. I called corporate and got the same attitude (myself being professional and nice). Never again!

Absolute worst curbside service ever it took a whole day for my online order of only two products to be ready. Then even had to wait A good while for them to bring it out to the curb. So inconvenient to wait a whole dang day!!!!

Instead of kind words and comfort I received a calous response of well we have over 1000 orders to fulfil and we are working on Thursdays orders today and if you do not drop the disrespectful attitude now I will cancel your order. I asked for her name and told her thank you and I will check back tomorrow.I just now get a notification my order was CANCELED?!?!? I am livid and now nobody is answering my calls at the store. This is the WORST customer service I have EVER received and I am so livid I can no longer show my home on time as those items were staging items. I will not drop this and I WILL be in store tomorrow to speak with the real manager and get this resolved.
