Great team, they have taken good care of our Honda Pilot and Acura TL over the many years since 2003! They never push work not needed and treat us like family. If only they work on other non-Honda lines will surely make more money, but they limit and specialize in those two lines. Always gave cheaper solutions if available and ready to help us out 👍🏻👏🙏

Failed to properly check the vehicle after the repairs and gave the vehicle back to me with the same problems as before. After the second round of repairs, they attempted to overcharge me by almost $200. Yes, they get the work done fast, but seems to be at the cost of thoroughness.

I had a great experience dealing with Matt. I had some major work done on a 2001 ranch truck and he completed it faster than I had expected. He even identified a potential problem that I didnt even know I had. His prices were very reasonable and I will definitely take my other vehicles to him when they need servicing.

Watch out for these guys!!!Took my 2012 Jeep with 40k miles in for an alignment. The owner called me and said my ball joints and tie rod ends needed to be replaced for a total of $1,800. I took it to another shop and had the alignment done for $100. That shop told me the front end parts were fine. after driving almost 500 miles no issues with the Jeep.

My biggest fear going to a mechanic is being taken advantage of. The reviews brought me to this shop. I walked in and told Matt my concerns and he told me they’d let me know what they find.Long story short he called me back and recommended me to a transmission shop because it would be smarter for me to go there because that’s where the issue was.They are very very honest and fair with Pricing. They are my go to shop in the area.

Unreal. I hit a curb and my car was shaking badly. I took it to a repair shop off of Harwood by 121, and my quote was over $3,000 and rising. I saw the Yelp reviews for Innovative, and decided to give them a try. Firstly, my car is running perfectly fine now. Secondly, it was done for less than $1000. They were so honest about the issue. They never tried to talk me into anything. I spoke mostly with Matt, who told me what each problem was and what my options were to fix it. They searched for the best deals on parts, and operated with my total bill in mind. They work fast too. Since I was paying so much less than I expected, I was able to do more work to the car that wasnt necessary, but was very convenient. I will never go anywhere else. Best company ever.

There are a lot of places to take your vehicle for service, I have found that the guys at Innovative not only know their game, but they are honest as well. Ive taken my vehicles several times for brake jobs and other items, and they are always fair in their assessment of the problem. Matt is an awesome mechanic. Him and his crew looked at my 2001 Ford Expedition, and they found a ton of problems with the old thing, unsurprisingly. It’s got over 230k miles on it. The reason I’m writing this review though, is because of the high standard of honesty and integrity going on at this shop. Matt was thorough in his research, and he was honest about what the problems were, all the options I had to solve them, and gave me advice on how to handle it as though I were family. And this is how they treat all their customers! I hardly know Matt, so he could have just as easily lied. Anyhow, this is a great shop. Go here and they’ll fix you up right, no BS involved.

Matt could not have been more helpful & courteous. In the time I was there I heard him no charge 2 different customers for minor fixes which is almost unheard of. He is focused on doing quality work at a fair price & treating people right. I will go out of my way to bring all my vehicles here!

Ive dealt with Matt the manager, the most and I would trust him with any car. Ive been a shade tree mechanic for over 35 years and Id say I have above average knowledge about auto repair. In my experience, these guys are as good, honest, and fair as they come. Its nice to have a good neighborhood garage.

I have used Innovative Automotive for several years now for multiple cars and I have never been disappointed. They always provide thorough explanations of any problems, make suggestions based on my circumstances as well as the cars needs, and present options for me to choose from. They even suggested that I take my Honda Odyssey to another shop because the other place was better equipped to handle my needs. I find that the guys at Innovative not only care about fixing your car, but they care about the driver of the car, and their honesty is above reproach. If you need a good mechanic in the Hurst area, there is none better.

To elaborate on my review. Ive taken my truck in to Matt and his staff for fixes that are big or small. They get everything done right. They make sure before they release your vehicle to you that everything is done with your safety in mind above all else. They dont try to add extra fees in here and there, very straight to the point. I ask them to do a lot of things and they always have a go get em attitude and are always yes we can. I love the fact they dont make any promises up front like most other shops just to get your business in. So theres no room for let down. And theres no lies. I 100 percent trust Matts leadership, outstanding fella and seems to have a great moral stand. All you can know is that these guys here are professional and do the best work out there, and do everything in heir power to get you up and going with a healthy vehicle. Theyll even go as far as if they dont know the answer they sure will try to figure it out! If you want peace of mind dropping your vehicle off somewhere I couldnt recommend a better place. As long as Matt is the man in charge Im a customer. And truth be told anybody that has ever given this place a bad name I feel they are probably those pain in the rear people that are quite impossible the satisfy on a customer service viewpoint. I worked with Matt at the Grapevine location. He was very friendly and professional. He gave me a fair quote, and stuck to it. His quote came in under half of what Grapevine Nissan dealership quoted me!They put a new axle on, re-aligned and it was driving funny. Instead of giving it to me and letting me complain, he called before I picked it up and asked if I had experienced it before. We decided it was a new issue, so he put on a second axle and re-aligned again, same issue. He sent my original axle to be re-built, and put it on and re-aligned again. Its driving great now (decided it was probably a manufacturer defect and is looking into it.)More than anything, he was honest - he didnt just put the axle and send me on my way. He kept working on the vehicle until the problem was actually solved.Despite having to do the job 3 times to get it right, he didnt try to slide in any extra charges to cover the extra labor expense or try to make it seem like it was my fault to charge me more. (There have been so many times Ive had to argue with people that I shouldnt be charged more for their errors!)He was respectful of my time and kept me in the loop. Ill definitely use their shop again.

Found the problem I missed in half a day and fixed it! They didnt throw parts at it. They found and fixed the problem at a reasonable price.

We will definitely return and would recommend to anyone. Matt will explain things courteously and thoroughly! Prices are extremely reasonable as well. So glad we read the other great reviews that were posted; now, we are switching mechanics!

These guys are truly amazing. My car broke down just while passing their parking lot..the mechanic kevin was working after hours and i asked him for help. So i left my vehicle over night.the next morning matt called me gave me a quote and even lowered the price so i could get an OEM part for better quality. They really could have taken advantage of my situation and they didnt. I did call other places and got higher quotes.They helped me out. I highly recommend this shop!!! I may even drive out of my way just to go back to them for future needs. They have earned my trust!

Over the years, Ive used my local garage, Innovative Automotive, for most of my vehicle repairs and have found them to be fair and reasonable. Car repairs are a lot more complicated and therefore expensive than when I use to do my own tune-ups on my 66 Chevy but quality maintenance and repairs are important to me and thats why I go to Innovative. You always know what they are doing to your car and how much it will cost.

My Hyundai Veloster was quoted at almost 3k to fix a turbo by another shop. I brought it here to Matt and his team replaced the part for less than HALF of my original estimate. Quick and painless the car runs better than when I bought it. I wouldnt take my vehicles anywhere else.

I have used innovative auto for over 5 years now and have had nothing but awesome for Customer Service honesty and great workmanship. I have brought my truck to other places where they could not find the problems and charged me $4,000 leaving the problem still happening and I brought my truck to innovative immediately after and they grease my bearings free of charge and fix the problem. I also have had many many other issues and everytime I bring any one of my vehicles and they take care of me at a great price and they are 100% honest with me. I want to thank them 100% As Matt has been nothing but a godsend.

There is a reason this shop prohibits their customers from entering the repair garage. I came by to see about getting a state inspection & walked in on the owner Joe & his mechanic smoking marijuana. I turned around and got in my car and left. No way I would i want to have a mechanic do any kind of work on my vehicle while under the influence. Get a grip guys and be more aware of your surroundings when committing unlawful acts.

They suck the did a front end alignment on my vehicle and I took it took to my sons shop for shocks because they dont do alignments. When he put it on the lift he discovered the front end was not tight so I dont recommend you using this shop if they did it to mine it could happen to you or some one you know.

I have taken 4 different cars to Innovative over the past few years. Every experience has been outstanding. Matt is well versed in his trade and has exception communication skills. I have brought our cars in several times after getting OEM dealership suggested repair quotes and Matt has identified those that require immediate attention and provided guidance in which suggestions to ignore. In one instance I brought my VW Passat in for a repair and Matt identified a failing part that Innovative had installed earlier. He replaced the part at NO COST. He could have ignored it and waited for it to fail out of warrant, but he didnt. Seems like an A++ shop to me.

I had a special need with a motor pulley. They came in under the estimate and repaired one day ahead of schedule. Great Job!

2 very poor experiences!#1---In mid 2016 I took our Land Cruiser to Innovative for a simple oil and filter change. Provided them with 2-5 quart containers so the correct amount of oil (less than 7.5 quarts) would be available for them to complete the oil change. After picking the vehicle up and driving it for a few days, I realized there were no containers with what should have been unused oil left in the back of the vehicle. I then realized that the mechanic at Innovative Automobile had put all 10 quarts of oil in the vehicle! At that point, I immediately returned to their shop where the mechanic admitted he had, in fact, put all 10 quarts in the Land Cruiser! The co-owner (Joe John) gave me a business card offering a free oil change for the mechanics mistake which I still have in my possession. However, as a likely result of the vehicle being filled with 2.5+ more quarts than recommended, immediately after their mechanics mistake, the Land Cruiser started to burn 1+ quarts of oil every 300 miles versus none previously between oil changes.#2---Made the mistake of giving Innovative Automotive another chance. Early morning on 12/27/16, I took our 2000 BMW to have an oil and oil filter change done; to have a new fuel filter installed; and to have the mass air flow sensors cleaned. In addition I wrote up other engine hesitation symptoms for their evaluation. Near the end of the following day (27th) I hadnt heard anything from their shop so I called to find out the status. I was told that Matt (the co-owner) was out sick and that he had left a message saying he didnt want to work on my vehicle! In that this response made no sense, early on the 29th I went to see if Matt himself to talk with him thinking that he would agree they could do these simple services. Immediately and throughout our conversation he was combative even to the point of apologizing for that behavior by interjecting that he didnt feel good. Rather than any semblance of offering help, he simply stated over and over that his mechanic(s) didnt feel “comfortable” working on the car and that was final. He added that “we do not have to work on every car that is brought to us”. I was stunned as the car had now been there over 2 days without their contacting me and now I am being told no work will be done. His saying “my mechanics dont want to work on the car” made zero common sense. And, if you think being treated this way in the face of such simple service requests makes no sense, I would certainly agree. What mechanic cant complete an oil and fuel filter change? I then took the vehicle to a family owned repair shop in Colleyville who had no hesitation in completing all the above mentioned work. If you care about how you are treated and desire mechanics that know how to change and add the correct amount of oil and complete other simple services then my advice is that you should definitely consider looking elsewhere.

I was overcharged for my inspection. Instead in giving me a 2 year safety on my brand new car the gave me a one year inspection. When I was in their shop I tried to tell them they might be,overcharging me based on what I was told at the tax assessora office. They denied and charged me 25.50 instead of the 7.00. I went back to tax office,to get my tags and registration and was told I was chsrged too much and they would turn the business I to TX DPS. I then called and Talked to Matt the manager and he refused to take any ownership for his mistake or refund what he overcharged me.

Innovative is awesome. Matt and Craig are my go to guys. They are open and honest. They stand behind their work and are very reasonably priced. As a single mom, I have been ripped off by my fair share of so called automotive repair shops. If you trust Innovative Automotive in Hurst, you can not go wrong. They will tell you up front what needs to be done and they will not over charge you for work that is not needed. I thank God that we finally found them. Just wish we would have found them before GY in Bedford had repeatly ripped us off. We have taken our business to them for close to 2 years and our vehicles have never runned better. Love you guys..........P.S.If you are new to the area like we were, they can also give great suggestions on other types of businesses too. Matt even helped us find a good dentist up. :)
