Overpriced, super icy pops. Visited on 5/31/21 and the poor kid working said it was his 3rd day to another customer that was maybe a friend. He looked like the only one there. The AC also must have been out, because it was miserable inside. We got an orange dream float, which was ok at best and a strawberry pop with a waffle cone. We wanted it dipped, but we’re told it wasn’t available. Both pops were more icy than creamy, even though we picked from the creamery side of the menu.Overall, the pops from the grocery store would have been just as satisfying. What a bummer.

Absolutely the best place to go to get a treat! Fair prices. Good products. Of course sometimes they sell out a certain flavor which makes one sad, but thats okay because we know how popular these items are and how good they are.

Great place for dessert! I am not gluten free but my wife and son are. So, this is a great place for us. Everything is gluten free. Even if you arent gluten free, you wont be disappointed. We have loved everything we have tried at Steel City Pops.

The pops here are a good treat. Definitely different from what you hey in the freezer section at the grocery store. I think $4 is way overpriced, but for the occasional treat theyre okay. Pro life tip, the Steel City Pops inside Lowe Mill are only $3 and they have a little bigger variety.

Kind, knowledgeable, helpful customer service and pops that are divine in both flavor, presentation, and consistency. Also, Im super impressed that Christmas decorations consist of the manger scene and that ornaments such as the word, blessed was on display. I love the look and feel of the atmosphere and that the murals on the wall were representative of the state of Alabama in ways of the silhouettes of our historical sites and monuments. Definitely recommend!

This spot is different than any other ice cream place around here. You will find different flavors embedded in the ice cream like bacon....right bacon....this is crazy !!! But tasteful. Give a try maybe you get hooked.lol

Such a cool and trendy place. I got the peanut butter pop dipped in milk chocolate with almonds and it was so good. I thought the popsicle would be super hard but it wasnt. They also do like birthdays and weddings which I thought was neat!

The best homemade popsicles around! Tastes like a real dessert and not just a summer treat! My favorites are the buttermilk (tastes like cheesecake), blueberry cream, and peanut butter.

This place does it right. You walk in, and what do you see? Two to three employees working, happily. Are they on Twitter? Probably. So what? They always greet you with a smile, and they know lots of facts about frozen confections (primary popsicles). This is a typical scenario at Steel City Pops: You walk in, and one of two things will happen: 1. To show off, you order that one weird flavor. 2. You swing the other direction and get the most boring flavor. This is where things get interesting. You tell the gal or guy what flavor you want, they reach into a cold chest and retrieve it. Next, you generally pay the cashier and then they give you the pop.

The giftcard I got for Christmas has been getting a workout with seasonal flavors (like the perfectly named Divinity) going fast. Tonight I sampled paleo chocolate (which is sweetened with honey) and cranberry orange before I could settle on regular chocolate dipped in dark chocolate & dredged with toasted coconut. YOW-za!I must confess that I rarely get dessert anywhere else in Huntsville, because the flavor never compares to Steel City.

I love coming here on hot days. But they love changing their flavors all the time... Usually to weird Hipster flavors like Elder Flower Horchata and chai tea. Its too expensive to try crazy flavors on a whim and possibly hate and be unable to eat it. Maybe a taste test bar? Like make the ice cream in an ice tray so people can try their weird flavors before wasting money? 😂

Tasty pops but a bit on the pricy side. I had the key lime pie and enjoyed it, but I dont know if the radom slab of cookie on the side side was worth the extra $1. Personally I felt the cookie itself was a little too dry.

This place was fantastic. I needed a popsicle to go, and at the most i was expecting to just carry out a popsicle in a cardboard tray. But no, They went the extra mile for me. They gave me an insulted cardboard bag, a reusable freezer pack, and put the popsicle (in its tray) all in that. And that popsicle was still frozen after ten miles down the road. Loved their friendliness and how far they go for one popsicle ❤️

Would have been ok but paid 8.50 for 2 popsicles and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Girls need to take some lessons on how to make a good environment. Asking questions they pointed to the board I looked in the ice case and the girl slammed her computer cause I guess she thought I cared what she was looking at then threw 2 popsicles on the counter will never be back and I will make sure I tell people about it as well

The two girls working on 5/11/18 at 5:00 were very rude to me and my wife. We walked in they just stared at us. Then with any questions we asked we got that typical millennials reaction and snarky attitudes. Im sorry but I dont think anyone should be treated like that anywhere. Especially when paying for overpriced subpar ice cream. $8 for two things that look like they came out of a box from costCo. Not the way a business should be ran. I think if you want to treat people like that go to the ghetto where its not so abnormal. Definitely do not recommend this place to anyone. Even out of convenience or if your child is begging you. Walmart has better pops for less than one of these.
