Been wanting to try this place for the longest time. Finally stopped by and got a Lox and Loaded and it even though it seemed pricey it was so full of salmon I felt like it was worth it and I cant wait to come back. The sourdough is nice and crusty on the outside and chewy inside. My son loves it. He is obsessed with bread.

Canadian Bakin is the best thing to happen to downtown Huntsville! I try not to eat too many carbs, but when I do, I always choose CB. Such a great group of people. The owners, Matt and Daniella, are very creative and friendly. I LOVE the constant influx of new specials and ideas for all the different holidays and seasons. Everything Ive ever had from CB has been delicious. Love everything about this place!

Quite a nice experience here. I stopped in for a late lunch and had the Notorious BLT on an Everything Bagel with a side of fruit. The BLT was amazing, the seasoning on the bagel was delicious and they use a very good bacon and a nice bibb or butter lettuce.I also grabbed a couple of pretzels and a sourdough loaf to carry home.Overall the service was great, the food was exceptional, and the price for my lunch was less than a fast food combo, much healthier, and more delicious.

Great environment. Employees were all nice, they engaged with the customers. My latte was good, I enjoyed my bagel with cream cheese. The place was laid back and chill. Music was chill. Nice place to meet up with a friend and catch up. The decor was pretty cool- bagel/carb related and reminisced of the ol days with the shows playing on the TV. Nice tribute to The Office with a Stanley photo too 👍

Food is great, staff are friendly, only gave 3 stars because this morning I ordered online while stopped in Merdianville, drove to Canadian Bakin in morning traffic to see several people in line waiting to order. I then see 3 of those who ordered after me get their food before mine was brought out.

This is a fun little spot with delicious baked goods and coffee and tea drinks. Bagels are made in-house. Try the everything bagel. Staff was fun and super nice.

Canadian Bakin is not only a carb Heaven; they actually have really great healthy and light lunch options. The menu is comprehensive, the food is delicious, and the coffee is too. I always love coming here for lunch. The ONLY thing I have feedback on is that most of the staff at the order counter does not know how to greet and take orders. I don’t know if it’s because of inexperience or negligence, but don’t expect a “Hello, welcome, what can I get for you?” I frequent this place often, and every time I’ve come by, I’m often the one to greet first, to ask how it’s going, and all I get are one word answers and blank stares before I actually say “can I get…” to start my order. Today it happened again. It’s actually laughable how ironic this is especially considering their name. Other than the service at the order counter, this place is fantastic. I love the atmosphere, the carbs theme, the servers that bring out the food. Good place to eat.

Swung by a bagel sandwich and coffee, both were delicious. If the bread and other baked goods they sell are anywhere near as good as this bagel, I’d say they’re the best bakery in Huntsville. Cozy shop, friendly staff, and (mostly) compostable packaging to boot.

I really wanted to like CB. I missed the bagels in nyc and thought maybe I would finally get a decent bagel in Huntsville. Unfortunately, I have yet to find a good bagel. The ones at CB are super pale and taste similar to a regular panera bagel. They are consistently out of stock on any new items they release, even coffee items. Went to try the new Horse Girl cold brew and they were out of the cold foam. For some reason they still put the spices on just the cold brew, so my first sip was a mouth full of gritty spices.It feels as if theyre banking on most hsv people having no other decent bagel options-which is true, there are none- but I feel the bagels left a lot to be desired, and the cold brew was not worth six dollars. Service was moderately slow for just a toasted bagel and cold brew, although friendly.

The food is absolutely amazing, the only down side is you will wanna eat so much it will make you pop.

Its hard for me to give a place five stars that Ive only been to once, but I suspect this place would work up to that quickly if I lived here because I would probably be eating here a lot. I had the QBecco which is a egg and bacon sandwich on their fresh sourdough bread. Excellent. The inside dining looks great and the staff is very friendly. I think from the looks of the bagels that the owners are from the left bank of the Ottawa River and there was Quebecoise pop music playing in the background. My mother suggested it knowing my love of all things Canadian And she had eaten here with friends and liked it as well. I will definitely this place out again on my next visit to Huntsville.

I absolutely love this place and it’s wonderful people! Always kind, safe and courteous. The food is incredible- I haven’t had a bagel like this in the south before! Their baristas know their way around some coffee and are the sweetest souls you’ll me behind a counter! I feel safe going as they have limited seating and require a mask. They’re vigilantly sanitizing as well!

Incredible carbs, delicious coffee and a staff whose kindness shines in everything they do.I first started going to CB around April of last year, right as the pandemic was starting. It didn’t take long for it to become a routine for me. As good as the carbs are though (put me into a coma with Q-Becco’s) and as tasty as the coffee is (I’ll take a drip bag of Salted Caramel Latte, please and thanks) the thing that’s kept me coming back is ultimately the people.Every member of the CB crew is so incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. They’re genuinely lovely people who put time and thought into what they do and ensure every person who walks through the door is treated with respect.These people are amazing and it shows in what they provide.

We’ve only been here a couple times but their bagels are so incredibly delicious! The flavor is on point and they’re always toasted to perfection. But then the cream cheese is such a perfect compliment to it all and just leaves your mouth watering and wanting to come back for more!

I have a problem and it’s called finding this gem of a place while being on a cut. The location was recommended to us by a Facebook member of the Huntsville FB group (or owner, can’t tell) and I went as promised the following morning. First, the coffee must be talked about. I’m pretty sure it’s from Good Company because their beans have a similar taste, and we really like that because most coffee places in Huntsville switched to light roast and we don’t like light roast. The coffee was dark roast and our Americano’s and lattes were top notch. I love the coffee here more than coffee in most HSV coffee shops. Next, I ordered the Q-Becco sandwich on sourdough and was very impressed by the bread. My spouse got the BLT on sourdough and loved hers equally. Chips on the side were yummy too. The thing that really boggled our minds was how amazing their bagels and normal cream cheese are. I got the everything bagel and normal cream cheese because I just wanted to try them after seeing all these other reviews, and I was really surprised by how chewy, soft, and delicious it was. The girls working at front were really sweet and nice. We’re going to stop by soon again to get lots of bagels for every day home use and try out their other breads because we’ve found our favorite non-pastry bakery.

Hands down the best breakfast and bagel place in Alabama. If you have any day at all, choose Canadian Bakin’!

My wife and I were out doing provision shopping and wanted to local place to snag a bite to eat.All pandemic protocols were being followed by both the staff and customers.The food, it took a little while for it to be made, but OMG!!!We each ordered a lox on brioche; she chose hers with fruit and I went with chips.We each ordered a Blue Drink of Awesome Tea! Dont remember the actual name, but it is a tea with a blueberry syrup and topped with basil. I HIGHLY recommend!The sandwich was absolutely worth the wait.The atmosphere, food, and service was all top notch.I will be recommending this place as a MUST GO for all HSV visitors as well as the locals.We most certainly will be back!

Hello my name is Troy Im homeless and I came here today just to get a couple water and I me ant a lady named Danny and she treated me with respect and got me some water and they didnt bother me they didnt treat me like I was worthless its awesome its a good place to come get good coffee and good bagels I tried the honey crunch cream cheese on my bagel and it was awesome.

I had the birthday bakedwell coffee iced and it was fantastic. The flavor add ins were not overpowering and the coffee was very smooth tasting. The blt I got was just meh. The bagel, sadly, was disappointing in texture and added nothing to the sandwich. The bacon was perhaps microwave bacon. I will go back for the coffee.

I had a breakfast sandwich with a fruit as a side. Everything was fantastic. The window they have looking into the kitchen provided some entertainment while waiting for the food.

TL;DR: delicious bagels from a warm, inviting, locally owned joint.Canadian Bakin has moved into its own storefront, much to the joy of carb lovers everywhere. With more room to wiggle, they now offer coffees and teas as well as dressed up bagel sandwiches. These sandwiches tend to have creative and fun names but stick to familiar, high quality ingredients. I havent tried one yet, but I look forward to doing so when Im more comfortable eating in (which they do allow currently - Im just not ready!)As is, I get my bread to go. Options are a smidge limited, but all are tasty. Multiple flavors of bagels (my fave so far is the everything, but I also really like the plain - Im a purist!), baguettes, German soft pretzels, as well as plain or cinnamon brioche are the staples. However, keep an eye on their social media, as they regularly bake up specials on different days, like Nutella brioche! One day Ill make it by on a Saturday so I can try out the chocolate chip and cinnamon raisin bagels.They also make cream cheese in house. Ive only had the garlic so far, but its the bomb!Definitely give this place a go and support your local carb craftsmen! Try a miel while youre there -- they do good coffee, too. :)

I took my eleven year old daughter down here on a Saturday morning to pick up breakfast for us and the wife (at home). There was a line at the door, but the line moved fast, the customers were polite and keeping a safe physical distance, the staff was friendly and helpful (meaning they spoke Starbucks sizes, thankfully) and the coffee was great. I had the house blend with room for cream, and my daughter had the caramel macchiato (staff even corrected the nomenclature to disambiguate what my daughter requested versus what she wanted, thanks again!). The bagels were great, the cream chees was a little skimpy for a single (but we had some extra at home) and we will definitely be back. For what it is worth, I love going downtown, and I am glad there is a new place to go; the dog park is walking distance and I might take a coffee there next time I go.

The bagels are amazing, and I love the sourdough too. The coffee is so good (go for the Miel latte - trust me) and the staff and atmosphere is fun and relaxed.

My favorite breakfast and coffee spot in Huntsville. They have amazing breads and custom lattes, but their customer service and attention to detail really sets them apart from the competition. The blueberry bagel and quebecco are a couple of favorites. The cinnamon brioche is divine. And a dirty iced chai will spice up anyones morning or afternoon.

Incredible! Finally a real bagel in Huntsville/Madison County. AND that is only a part of this gift to us. Incredible bread. This is Master Baker, slap your gramma (I would never do that) good, great, excellent. Crusty baguettes with pointy ends and great bubbles rising along the loaves because of the perfectly crafted dough. Break the bread open & there are perfectly (sorry, I’m saying perfect a lot) distributed air bubbles in the soft interior surrounded by (again) a perfect crust. From first bite to the lingering after taste this one best loaves you ever had. We used to get a few things from them at Greene Street market but we had no idea of their full capabilities. Did I mention the real bagels? Coffee too. God Bless y’all for being here.

Wow! I can’t even express how good this place is, even through my mask I could smell the freshly baked bagels as I walked in. This is why I love visiting Huntsville. Service was excellent! Social distancing was practiced, definitely not what I’m used to in FL. Miel latte was so expertly prepared, kudos to the barista. The Q-Becco was so good.

The smell of fresh baked bread and bagels greet you at the door and invite you in everyday. I see why they constantly sell out. The friendliness of the staff keeps you coming back.

It blows my mind that the are pushing through their GRAND OPENING with such postivity, level of perfection in baked goods/service/cleanliness, support of staff, social media and website handling, and more during this freaking pandemic.If you go here, I highly recommend you get a bagel sammie and gourmet beverage for immediate noms, and takeaway a couple loaves/brioche/buns for noms later. My favorite sammie thus far is the Q-Becco, but I live in a first-world-problem-decision regularly of which delicious bagel sammie do I get this time?If anything, go. Be kind. Be patient.
