Untruthful in saying power steering hose was gushing power steering fluid. Had to take the car back to have the system lights cleared when they tell me that I should have them do more work,( over 1k). Avoid at all costs. My next vehicle WAS going to be an acura.

When we got home with our new vehicle we realized we had no way to open our garage and get into our house because our garage opener was programmed into the vehicle we traded in. These are just some of the pictures I took today right after getting my vehicle. It has been an absolute nightmare! We traded our van in over a week ago and while we are getting our credit scores checked and going through financing, Jerry Damson Acura said they would detail it and have it ready when we were ready to leave. It was disgusting. It was sent off to detail but still brought back in the same condition it was in when it was sent. They sent us home in it and promised we could bring it back for it to be detailed. There were a few cosmetic damages in the interior that I wanted fixed and I was willing to pay for so I asked them to just do everything when I brought it back. My husband and I also discovered that the window motor on the front passenger side was out, (before we bought the vehicle I checked all the windows except that one because that was the one that had the papers taped to it and I didnt want to roll it down for that reason; since the other windows worked I just assumed that one was fine as well). When we brought the car in, we asked to speak to the manager- Scott-to see if anything could be done- he refused to see us or talk to us. He told the saleswoman to remind us that we bought an as is car and that he wanted her to take care of everything, that he was busy. So, since we were such an inconvenience, we went to his manager-the GM. The GM said he would take care of it and gave us a loaner car. We took that one home while we left ours with the dealership. About 3 days later they wanted that loaner car back and gave us another one. Grant it- we have 2 babies, so it is a headache moving 2 car seats in and out of vehicles! My original car that I bought was with the dealership for a little over a week. I was finally told that it was ready and could be picked up anytime today. I let them know I would be there at 10:45 am this morning. They said it would be ready and waiting out front. I get there a little late- 11 am. They said it was still in detail (over the course of all this it had supposedly been detailed twice already), and that it would be 30 min. I wait an HOUR and they come back and say it will be another 45 min. I go back to the GM and tell him I want my car now, he calls the detail people and it is there in 15 min. I swap everything from the loaner vehicle to mine and go to leave and my car will NOT start. One of the salesman had to go get jumper cables and jump my car off before I could even leave the parking lot! So, after buying a car over a week ago and going through all we have with it AND being treated like such an inconvenience from the sales manager, what do we have to show for it? A car that we are going to have to take to a mechanic and find out whats going on with it, pay for that ourselves, and clean it ourselves as well because (as the pictures prove), it is still dirty!

I stopped by to check the model Acura I was interested in before heading to Nashville to see about buying one - after a couple of car purchases a decade ago I said I would never buy from a Huntsville dealership again. That changed today. While at the lot I was helped by Andrew who answered my questions and never once tried to push a car on me or upsell me on anything - he actually stuck to answering what I was asking (unheard of!). When he grabbed the keys to a car to test out, he happened to pick a car that has the base options, plus it was already sold (no what will it take to get you to take this car home today pitch here). After testing the car out and not feeling the negative car salesman vibe from Andrew, I decided to see what numbers we could work out an (legitimately) told him the buy price Caravana listed to pick up the car I had for trade. From there Andrew, Timothy (Sales Mgr), and Kennie (Finance) all talked to me - nobody ever came across as pushy, and I never felt like anyone wasnt being forthright. By the end of it all they were able to come close enough to meeting the Carvana price for me to go ahead and trade in, and within about 3 hrs of walking onto the lot I was leaving with a new RDX and feeling good about the whole process. Its the first time in a very long time that Ive come across a car-selling team like this where I would comfortably go right back and buy another car (if I needed one). They turned me into a liar about not buying from another Hunstville dealer - and they did a wonderful job of turning me into that liar.

Thank you Mr. Jonathan Jones for helping me find the perfect car! Unfortunately I had a accident and my suv got totaled. I was honestly dreading going to different lots and looking online to find the perfect vehicle. But Mr. Jones made it super easy! He asked me what are some of the must haves for the vehicle along with my price range and a few other questions(which is something no one has ever done) With those simple questions, he helped narrow down the choices. I was dead set on getting a suv(mostly because I’m tall) but he showed me a few cars that almost had the same amount of space. He showed me the Nissan Maxima that had everything I wanted. After one test drive I knew that was the car for me. With his help it took me less than 2 weeks to find my dream car! Once again, thank you so much Jonathan! I sorted out most of the details over the phone and through emails with the salesman Andrew Austin. His responses where quick and helpfull, no car sales bs. He didnt push an extended waranty on a leased new car. They let me sleep on the deal with no complaints or nonsense. The finacing was simple and they answered my questions about the process clearly. There where no surprise fees or nonsense. I cant say i would reccomend to my family and friends to buy an Acura but i will reccomend they start looking for a new car at this dealer.
Extremely pleasant experience with this dealership. I saw a used car of theirs online and sent them an inquiry, right away. Since it was way past business hours, after 10 PM to be exact; I didnt expect a response until the next day. To my surprise, Chad, our awesome salesman, emailed me, immediately. After assuring me he wasnt a bot, we corresponded back and forth for about 30 minutes, with him answering all of my questions about the vehicle. I was sold right then and there. My son and I made the 3 hour plus drive from Georgia the very next morning and were pulling out of the dealership in our new ride, before the close of business. Everything went like clockwork. The people were very friendly; Chad was more than accommodating; and the finance guy (forget his name) was super efficient, making it his personal mission to get us back on the road before the traffic and bad weather hit. The car I purchased had some cosmetic issues however they fixed them wonderfully and also had my windows tinted. The process took a few days but they gave me a loaner car to drive until mine was finished. Great sales people, enjoyed talking with Chris. Management should have a demo of each new car that sales people can share weekly, would help with knowledge of product being sold. Lease deal is not very good considering how low interest rates are, money factor is too high. Should be adjusted down and stay competitive. The lease turn in program gets 5 stars, good damage and mileage forgiveness, this was the main reason I accepted new lease, otherwise its a no go.

I am very hesitant about going to most car dealerships because of all my crazy past experiences. A month prior to making my decision on what car I wanted and needed I went to test drive cars in SoCal because I had some times and I need to do it before I make my decisions.. I had a really horrible experience at the Acura dealership in SoCal. So when coming back to Huntsville I was really hesitant about it because of my experience in SoCal.However!Andrew was super accommodating and helpful. I told him what I wanted and was looking for and he didnt have any currently at the dealership but one was one its way and he was updating me letting me know when it was coming and really was communicative even if I was horrible at it.Finally the day it came it I wasnt able to get there but he was still keeping me posted and finally when I was able to get in he wasnt able to help but Melissa tag team with him and help me made the purchase very smooth and easy!Thank you guys for making this an easy process for me!Super sorry for this late post!Laura :)

Incredible Service and Support. We had the pleasure of discovering Jerry Damson Acura (and our salesperson - Melissa Green) all the way from Atlanta. We wanted a very specific car, model, color and package. We looked all over: Carmax (dont get me started there), TrueCar, Cars.com, and others. We lucked-out and found exactly what we were looking for on Autotrader.com and sent a request to JDA to see if it was still available. Once we confirmed it was still in fact available, Mel helped us get through all the details and background of the car. One owner, no accidents, and only 9700 miles. Next came purchasing it and with the help of Kennie Conley in their finance department we were able secure the payment details. But the biggest question was how to get the car weve been looking for so long from Huntsville, Ala to Atlanta? I had secured a driver to join me on my trip over and back but it fell through at the last minute. When I spoke to Mel, she offered to bring it to me! It came with a small expense but was well worth it. The car arrived in perfect condition and we finished up the paperwork and we were done! The car was for my wife and she could not be happier. She got the exact car she was looking for and its thanks to Mel and the entire Jerry Damson Acura team for their help in making it happen. And a week before Christmas was just the cherry on top. What a great experience - Chad Bohannon and the Finance crew did a great job and we got a new 2020 MDX for a great price. Was originally looking at Infinitis, but Acura got our business, and will so in the future. A great team at Acura of Huntsville. Andy
